Psalm 106 in Tamil

1 அல்லேலுூயா, கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர். அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 கர்த்தருடைய வல்லமையான செய்கைகளைச் சொல்லி, அவருடைய துதியையெல்லாம் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்தத்தக்கவன் யார்? Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?

3 நியாயத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், எக்காலத்திலும் நீதியைச்செய்கிறவர்களும் பாக்கியவான்கள். Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

4 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களின் நன்மையை நான் கண்டு உம்முடைய ஜாதியின் மகிழ்ச்சியால் மகிழ்ந்து, உம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தோடே மேன்மைபாராட்டும்படிக்கு, Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

5 உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு நீர் பாராட்டும் கிருபையின்படி என்னை நினைத்து, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினால் என்னைச் சந்தித்தருளும். That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

6 எங்கள் பிதாக்களோடுங்கூட நாங்களும் பாவஞ்செய்து அக்கிரமம் நடப்பித்து, ஆகாமியம்பண்ணினோம். We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

7 எங்கள் பிதாக்கள் எகிப்திலே உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களை உணராமலும், உம்முடைய கிருபைகளின் திரட்சியை நினையாமலும் போய், சிவந்தசமுத்திர ஓரத்திலே கலகம்பண்ணினார்கள். Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

8 ஆனாலும் அவர் தமது வல்லமையை வெளிப்படுத்தும்படி தம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் அவர்களை இரட்சித்தார். Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

9 அவர் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தை அதட்டினார், அது வற்றிப்போயிற்று; தரையில் நடக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களை ஆழங்களில் நடந்துபோகப்பண்ணினார். He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

10 பகைஞன் கைக்கு அவர்களை விலக்கி இரட்சித்து, சத்துருவின் கைக்கு அவர்களை விலக்கி மீட்டார். And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11 அவர்கள் சத்துருக்களைத் தண்ணீர்கள் மூடிக்கொண்டது; அவர்களில் ஒருவனும் மீந்திருக்கவில்லை. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

12 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை விசுவாசித்து, அவருடைய துதியைப் பாடினார்கள். Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

13 ஆனாலும் சீக்கிரமாய் அவருடைய கிரியைகளை மறந்தார்கள்; அவருடைய ஆலோசனைக்கு அவர்கள் காத்திராமல், They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14 வனாந்தரத்திலே இச்சையுள்ளவர்களாகி, அவாந்தரவெளியிலே தேவனைப் பரீட்சைபார்த்தார்கள். But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

15 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் கேட்டதை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களிலோ இளைப்பை அனுப்பினார். And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

16 பாளயத்தில் அவர்கள் மோசேயின்மேலும், கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தனாகிய ஆரோனின்மேலும் பொறாமைகொண்டார்கள். They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

17 பூமி பிளந்து தாத்தானை விழுங்கி, அபிராமின் கூட்டத்தாரை மூடிப்போட்டது. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

18 அவர்கள் கூட்டத்தில் அக்கினிபற்றியெரிந்தது; அக்கினி ஜுவாலை துன்மார்க்கரை எரித்துப்போட்டது. And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

19 அவர்கள் ஓரேபிலே ஒரு கன்றுக்குட்டியையுண்டாக்கி, வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தை நமஸ்கரித்தார்கள். They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

20 தங்கள் மகிமையைப் புல்லைத் தின்கிற மாட்டின் சாயலாக மாற்றினார்கள். Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

21 எகிப்திலே பெரிய கிரியைகளையும், காமின் தேசத்திலே அதிசயங்களையும் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தண்டையிலே பயங்கரமானவைகளையும் செய்தவராகிய, They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

22 தங்கள் இரட்சகரான தேவனை மறந்தார்கள். Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

23 ஆகையால், அவர்களை நாசம்பண்ணுவேன் என்றார்; அப்பொழுது அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட மோசே அவர்களை அவர் அழிக்காதபடிக்கு அவருடைய உக்கிரத்தை ஆற்றும்பொருட்டு, அவருக்கு முன்பாகத் திறப்பின் வாயிலே நின்றான். Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

24 அவருடைய வார்த்தையை விசுவாசியாமல், இச்சிக்கப்படத்தக்க தேசத்தை அசட்டைபண்ணினார்கள். Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

25 கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடாமல், தங்கள் கூடாரங்களில் முறுமுறுத்தார்கள். But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.

26 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் வனாந்தரத்திலே மடியவும், அவர்கள் சந்ததி ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே அழியவும், Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

27 அவர்கள் பற்பல தேசங்களிலே சிதறடிக்கப்படவும், அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தம்முடைய கையை எடுத்தார். To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

28 அவர்கள் பாகால்பேயோரைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, ஜீவனில்லாதவைக்கு இட்ட பலிகளைப் புசித்து, They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

29 தங்கள் கிரியைகளினால் அவருக்குக் கோபம் மூட்டினார்கள்; ஆகையால் வாதை அவர்களுக்குள் புகுந்தது. Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

30 அப்பொழுது பினெகாஸ் எழுந்து நின்று நியாயஞ்செய்தான்; அதினால் வாதை நிறுத்தப்பட்டது. Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

31 அது தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என்றென்றைக்கும் அவனுக்கு நீதியாக எண்ணப்பட்டது. And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

32 மேரிபாவின் தண்ணீர்களிடத்திலும் அவருக்குக் கடுங்கோபம் மூட்டினார்கள்; அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் மோசேக்கும் பொல்லாப்பு நடந்தது. They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

33 அவர்கள் அவன் ஆவியை விசனப்படுத்தினதினாலே, தன் உதடுகளில் பதறிப்பேசினான். Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

34 கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குச் சொன்னபடி, அவர்கள் அந்த ஜனங்களை அழிக்கவில்லை. They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

35 ஜாதிகளுடனே கலந்து, அவர்கள் கிரியைகளைக் கற்று; But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36 அவர்களுடைய விக்கிரகங்களைச் சேவித்தார்கள்; அவைகள் அவர்களுக்குக் கண்ணியாயிற்று. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

37 அவர்கள் தங்கள் குமாரரையும் தங்கள் குமாரத்திகளையும் பிசாசுக்காகப் பலியிட்டார்கள். Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 அவர்கள் கானான்தேசத்து விக்கிரகங்களுக்குப் பலியிட்டு, தங்கள் குமாரர் குமாரத்திகளுடைய குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தை சிந்தினார்கள்; தேசம் இரத்தத்தால் தீட்டுப்பட்டது. And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

39 அவர்கள் தங்கள் கிரியைகளினால் அசுத்தமாகி தங்கள் செய்கைகளினால் சோரம்போனார்கள். Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 அதினால் கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் தமது ஜனத்தின்மேல் மூண்டது; அவர் தமது சுதந்தரத்தை அருவருத்தார். Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 அவர்களை ஜாதிகளுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அவர்களுடைய பகைஞர் அவர்களை ஆண்டார்கள். And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

42 அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்கள் அவர்களை ஒடுக்கினார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய கையின்கீழ்த் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டார்கள். Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 அநேகந்தரம் அவர்களை விடுவித்தார்; அவர்களோ தங்கள் யோசனையினால் அவருக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கலகம்பண்ணி, தங்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தினால் சிறுமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டார்கள். Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுதலை அவர் கேட்கும்போதோ, அவர்களுக்கு உண்டான இடுக்கத்தை அவர் கண்ணோக்கி, Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

45 அவர்களுக்காகத் தமது உடன்படிக்கையை நினைத்து, தமது மிகுந்த கிருபையின்படி மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டு, And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 அவர்களைச் சிறைபிடித்த யாவரும் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்கும்படி செய்தார். He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

47 எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நாங்கள் உமது பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப்போற்றி, உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறதில் மேன்மைபாராட்டும்படி எங்களை இரட்சித்து, எங்களை ஜாதிகளிலிருந்து சேர்த்தருளும். Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அநாதியாய் என்றென்றைக்கும் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படத்தக்கவர். ஜனங்களெல்லாரும்: ஆமென், அல்லேலுூயா என்பார்களாக. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

1 Allaeluூyaa, karththaraith thuthiyungal, avar nallavar. Avar kirupai entumullathu. Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 Karththarutaiya vallamaiyaana seykaikalaich solli, avarutaiya thuthiyaiyellaam pirasthaapappaduththaththakkavan yaar? Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?

3 Niyaayaththaik kaikkollukiravarkalum, ekkaalaththilum neethiyaichcheykiravarkalum paakkiyavaankal. Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

4 Karththaavae, neer therinthukonndavarkalin nanmaiyai naan kanndu ummutaiya jaathiyin makilchchiyaal makilnthu, ummutaiya suthantharaththotae maenmaipaaraattumpatikku, Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

5 Ummutaiya janangalukku neer paaraattum kirupaiyinpati ennai ninaiththu, ummutaiya iratchippinaal ennaich santhiththarulum. That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

6 Engal pithaakkalodungaூda naangalum paavanjaெythu akkiramam nadappiththu, aakaamiyampannnninom. We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

7 Engal pithaakkal ekipthilae ummutaiya athisayangalai unaraamalum, ummutaiya kirupaikalin thiratchiyai ninaiyaamalum poy, sivanthasamuththira oraththilae kalakampannnninaarkal. 8 Aanaalum avar thamathu vallamaiyai velippaduththumpati thammutaiya naamaththinimiththam avarkalai iratchiththaar. Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

10 Pakainjan kaikku avarkalai vilakki iratchiththu, saththuruvin kaikku avarkalai vilakki meettar. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11 Avarkal saththurukkalaith thannnneerkal mootikkonndathu; avarkalil oruvanum meenthirukkavillai. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

12 Appoluthu avarkal avarutaiya vaarththaikalai visuvaasiththu, avarutaiya thuthiyaip paatinaarkal. Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

13 Aanaalum seekkiramaay avarutaiya kiriyaikalai maranthaarkal; avarutaiya aalosanaikku avarkal kaaththiraamal, They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14 Vanaantharaththilae ichchaைyullavarkalaaki, avaantharaveliyilae thaevanaip pareetchaைpaarththaarkal. But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

15 Appoluthu avarkal kaettathai avarkalukkuk koduththaarkal aaththumaakkalilo ilaippai anuppinaar. And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

16 Paalayaththil avarkal Mosesyinmaelum, karththarutaiya Parisuththanaakiya aaroninmaelum poraamaikonndaarkal. They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

18 Avarkal koottaththil akkinipattiyerinthathu; akkini juvaalai thunmaarkkarai eriththuppottathu. And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

19 Avarkal oraepilae oru kantukkuttiyaiyunndaakki, vaarppikkappatta vikkirakaththai namaskariththaarkal. They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

20 Thangal makimaiyaip pullaith thinkira maattin saayalaaka maattinaarkal. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

21 Ekipthilae periya kiriyaikalaiyum, kaamin thaesaththilae athisayangalaiyum sivantha samuththiraththanntaiyilae payangaramaanavaikalaiyum seythavaraakiya, They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

22 Thangal iratchakaraana thaevanai maranthaarkal. Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

23 Aakaiyaal, avarkalai naasampannnuvaen entar; appoluthu avaraal therinthukollappatta Moses avarkalai avar alikkaathapatikku avarutaiya ukkiraththai aattaுmporuttu, avarukku munpaakath thirappin vaayilae nintan. Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

24 Avarutaiya vaarththaiyai visuvaasiyaamal, ichchikkappadaththakka thaesaththai asattaைpannnninaarkal. Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

28 Avarkal paakaalpaeyoraip pattikkonndu, jeevanillaathavaikku itta palikalaip pusiththu, They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

29 Thangal kiriyaikalinaal avarukkuk kopam moottinaarkal; aakaiyaal vaathai avarkalukkul pukunthathu. Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

30 Appoluthu pinekaas elunthu nintu niyaayanjaெythaan; athinaal vaathai niraுththappattathu. Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

31 Athu thalaimurai thalaimuraiyaaka ententaikkum avanukku neethiyaaka ennnappattathu. And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

32 Maeripaavin thannnneerkalidaththilum avarukkuk kadungaோpam moottinaarkal; avarkal nimiththam Moseskkum pollaappu nadanthathu. They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

33 Avarkal avan aaviyai visanappaduththinathinaalae, than uthadukalil patharippaesinaan. Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

34 Karththar thangalukkuch sonnapati, avarkal antha janangalai alikkavillai. They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

35 Jaathikaludanae kalanthu, avarkal kiriyaikalaik kattaு; But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36 Avarkalutaiya vikkirakangalaich seviththaarkal; avaikal avarkalukkuk kannnniyaayittaு. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

37 Avarkal thangal kumaararaiyum thangal kumaaraththikalaiyum pisaasukkaakap paliyittarkal. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 Avarkal kaanaanthaesaththu vikkirakangalukkup paliyittu, thangal kumaarar kumaaraththikalutaiya kuttamillaatha iraththaththai sinthinaarkal; thaesam iraththaththaal theettuppattathu. 39 Avarkal thangal kiriyaikalinaal asuththamaaki thangal seykaikalinaal soramponaarkal. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 Athinaal karththarutaiya kopam thamathu janaththinmael moonndathu; avar thamathu suthantharaththai aruvaruththaar. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 Avarkalai jaathikalutaiya kaiyil oppukkoduththaar; avarkalutaiya pakainjar avarkalai aanndaarkal. And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

42 Avarkalutaiya saththurukkal avarkalai odukkinaarkal; avarkalutaiya kaiyingeelth thaalththappattarkal. Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 Anaekantharam avarkalai viduviththaar; avarkalo thangal yosanaiyinaal avarukku virothamaayk kalakampannnni, thangalutaiya akkiramaththinaal siraுmaippaduththappattarkal. Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 Avarkal kooppiduthalai avar kaetkumpotho, avarkalukku unndaana idukkaththai avar kannnnokki, Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

45 Avarkalukkaakath thamathu udanpatikkaiyai ninaiththu, thamathu mikuntha kirupaiyinpati manasthaapappattu, And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 Avarkalaich siraipitiththa yaavarum avarkalukku irangumpati seythaar. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

47 Engal thaevanaakiya karththaavae, naangal umathu Parisuththa naamaththaippotti, ummaith thuthikkirathil maenmaipaaraattumpati engalai iratchiththu, engalai jaathikalilirunthu serththarulum. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar anaathiyaay ententaikkum sthoththirikkappadaththakkavar. Janangalellaarum: Amen, allaeluூyaa enpaarkalaaka. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
