Genesis 47 in Tamil

1 யோசேப்பு பார்வோனிடத்தில் போய்: என் தகப்பனும் என் சகோதரரும், தங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளோடும் தங்களுக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றோடுங்கூடக் கானான்தேசத்திலிருந்து வந்தார்கள்; இப்பொழுது கோசேன் நாட்டில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று சொல்லி; Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

2 தன் சகோதரரில் ஐந்துபேரைப் பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கொண்டுபோய் நிறுத்தினான். And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

4 கானான் தேசத்திலே பஞ்சம் கொடிதாயிருக்கிறது; உமது அடியாரின் மந்தைகளுக்கு மேய்ச்சல் இல்லாமையால், இத்தேசத்திலே தங்கவந்தோம்; உமது அடியாராகிய நாங்கள் கோசேன் நாட்டிலே குடியிருக்கும்படி தயவுசெய்யவேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள். They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

5 அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் யோசேப்பை நோக்கி: உன் தகப்பனும் உன் சகோதரரும் உன்னிடத்தில் வந்திருக்கிறார்களே. And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

6 எகிப்து தேசம் உனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது; தேசத்தில் உள்ள நல்ல இடத்திலே உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் சகோதரரையும் குடியேறும்படி செய்; அவர்கள் கோசேன் நாட்டிலே குடியிருக்கலாம்; அவர்களுக்குள்ளே திறமையுள்ளவர்கள் உண்டென்று உனக்குத் தெரிந்தால், அவர்களை என் ஆடுமாடுகளை விசாரிக்கிறதற்குத் தலைவராக வைக்கலாம் என்றான். The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

7 பின்பு, யோசேப்பு தன் தகப்பனாகிய யாக்கோபை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்து, அவனைப் பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினான். யாக்கோபு பார்வோனை ஆசீர்வதித்தான். And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

8 பார்வோன் யாக்கோபை நோக்கி: உமக்கு வயது என்ன என்று கேட்டான். And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

9 அதற்கு யாக்கோபு: நான் பரதேசியாய்ச் சஞ்சரித்த நாட்கள் நூற்று முப்பது வருஷம்; என் ஆயுசுநாட்கள் கொஞ்சமும் சஞ்சலமுள்ளதுமாயிருக்கிறது; அவைகள் பரதேசிகளாய்ச் சஞ்சரித்த என் பிதாக்களுடைய ஆயுசு நாட்களுக்கு வந்து எட்டவில்லை என்று பார்வோனுடனே சொன்னான். And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

10 பின்னும் யாக்கோபு பார்வோனை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவன் சமுகத்தினின்று புறப்பட்டுப் போனான். And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

11 பார்வோன் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, யோசேப்பு தன் தகப்பனுக்கும் தன் சகோதரருக்கும் எகிப்து தேசத்திலே நல்ல நாடாகிய ராமசேஸ் என்னும் நாட்டிலே சுதந்தரம் கொடுத்து, அவர்களைக் குடியேற்றினான். And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

12 யோசேப்பு தன் தகப்பனையும் தன் சகோதரரையும் தன் தகப்பனுடைய குடும்பத்தார் அனைவரையும், அவரவர்கள் குடும்பத்திற்குத்தக்கதாய் ஆகாரம் கொடுத்து ஆதரித்து வந்தான். And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families.

13 பஞ்சம் மிகவும் கொடிதாயிருந்தது; தேசமெங்கும் ஆகாரம் கிடையாமற் போயிற்று; எகிப்து தேசமும் கானான் தேசமும் பஞ்சத்தினாலே மெலிந்து போயிற்று. And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

14 யோசேப்பு எகிப்து தேசத்திலும் கானான் தேசத்திலுமுள்ள பணத்தையெல்லாம் தானியம் கொண்டவர்களிடத்தில் வாங்கி, அதைப் பார்வோன் அரமனையிலே கொண்டுபோய்ச் சேர்த்தான். And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

15 எகிப்து தேசத்திலும் கானான் தேசத்திலுமுள்ள பணம் செலவழிந்தபோது, எகிப்தியர் எல்லாரும் யோசேப்பினிடத்தில் வந்து எங்களுக்கு ஆகாரம் தாரும்; பணம் இல்லை, அதினால் நாங்கள் உமது சமுகத்தில் சாகவேண்டுமோ என்றார்கள் And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

16 அதற்கு யோசேப்பு: உங்களிடத்தில் பணம் இல்லாமற்போனால், உங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளைக் கொடுங்கள்; அவைகளுக்குப் பதிலாக உங்களுக்குத் தானியம் கொடுக்கிறேன் என்றான். And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

17 அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஆடுமாடு முதலானவைகளை யோசேப்பினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; யோசேப்பு குதிரைகளையும் ஆடுகளையும் மாடுகளையும் கழுதைகளையும் வாங்கிக் கொண்டு, அந்த வருஷம் அவர்களுடைய ஆடுமாடு முதலான எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் பதிலாக அவர்களுக்கு ஆகாரம் கொடுத்து, அவர்களை ஆதரித்தான். And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

19 நாங்களும் எங்கள் நிலங்களும் உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழிந்து போகலாமா? நீர் எங்களையும் எங்கள் நிலங்களையும் வாங்கிக்கொண்டு, ஆகாரம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; நாங்களும் எங்கள் நிலங்களும் பார்வோனுக்கு ஆதீனமாயிருப்போம்; நாங்கள் சாகாமல் உயிரோடிருக்கவும், நிலங்கள் பாழாய்ப் போகாமலிருக்கவும், எங்களுக்கு விதைத் தானியத்தைத் தாரும் என்றார்கள். Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

20 அப்படியே எகிப்தியர் தங்களுக்குப் பஞ்சம் மேலிட்டபடியால் அவரவர் தங்கள் தங்கள் வயல் நிலங்களை விற்றார்கள்; யோசேப்பு எகிப்தின் நிலங்கள் யாவையும் பார்வோனுக்காகக் கொண்டான்; இவ்விதமாய் அந்தப் பூமி பார்வோனுடையதாயிற்று. And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's.

21 மேலும் அவன் எகிப்தின் ஒரு எல்லை முதல் மறு எல்லைவரைக்குமுள்ள ஜனங்களை அந்தந்தப் பட்டணங்களில் குடிமாறிப்போகப்பண்ணினான். And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

23 பின்னும் யோசேப்பு ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: இதோ, இன்று உங்களையும் உங்கள் நிலங்களையும் பார்வோனுக்காக வாங்கிக்கொண்டேன்; இதோ, உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படுகிற விதைத்தானியம்; இதை நிலத்தில் விதையுங்கள். Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

25 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்: நீர் எங்கள் பிராணனைக் காப்பாற்றினீர்; எங்கள் ஆண்டவனுடைய கண்களில் எங்களுக்குத் தயவு கிடைக்கவேண்டும்; நாங்கள் பார்வோனுக்கு அடிமைகளாயிருக்கிறோம் என்றார்கள். And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

26 ஐந்தில் ஒன்று பார்வோனுக்குச் சேரும் வாரம் என்று யோசேப்பு இட்ட கட்டளைப்படி எகிப்து தேசத்திலே இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் நடந்து வருகிறது; ஆசாரியரின் நிலம் மாத்திரம் பார்வோனைச் சேராமல் நீங்கலாயிருந்தது. And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part, except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.

27 இஸ்ரவேலர் எகிப்து தேசத்திலுள்ள கோசேன் நாட்டிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்; அங்கே நிலங்களைக் கையாட்சி செய்து, மிகவும் பலுகிப் பெருகினார்கள். And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

28 யாக்கோபு எகிப்து தேசத்திலே பதினேழு வருஷம் இருந்தான்; யாக்கோபுடைய ஆயுசு நாட்கள் நூற்று நாற்பத்தேழு வருஷம். And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

29 இஸ்ரவேல் மரணமடையும் காலம் சமீபித்தது. அப்பொழுது அவன் தன் குமாரனாகிய யோசேப்பை வரவழைத்து, அவனை நோக்கி: என்மேல் உனக்குத் தயவுண்டானால், உன் கையை என் தொடையின்கீழ் வைத்து என்மேல் பட்சமும் உண்மையுமுள்ளவனாயிரு; என்னை எகிப்திலே அடக்கம்பண்ணாதிருப்பாயாக. And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

30 நான் என் பிதாக்களோடே படுத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்; ஆகையால், நீ என்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களை அடக்கம்பண்ணியிருக்கிற நிலத்திலே என்னையும் அடக்கம்பண்ணு என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: உமது சொற்படி செய்வேன் என்றான். But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

31 அப்பொழுது அவன்: எனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடு என்றான்; அவனுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்தான். அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் கட்டிலின் தலைமாட்டிலே சாய்ந்து தொழுதுகொண்டான். And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.

1 Yoseppu paarvonidaththil poy: en thakappanum en sakothararum, thangal aadumaadukalodum thangalukku unndaana ellaavattaோdungaூdak kaanaanthaesaththilirunthu vanthaarkal; ippoluthu kosen naattil irukkiraarkal entu solli; Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

2 Than sakothararil ainthupaeraip paarvonukku munpaakak konndupoy niraுththinaan. And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

3 Paarvon avanutaiya sakothararai Nnokki: ungal tholil enna entu kaettan; atharku avarkal: umathu atiyaaraakiya naangalum engal pithaakkalum manthai maeykkiravarkal entu paarvonidaththil sonnathumanti, And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

4 Kaanaan thaesaththilae panjam kotithaayirukkirathu; umathu atiyaarin manthaikalukku maeychchal illaamaiyaal, iththaesaththilae thangavanthom; umathu atiyaaraakiya naangal kosen naattilae kutiyirukkumpati thayavuseyyavaenndum entu vaenntikkonndaarkal. They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

5 Appoluthu paarvon yoseppai Nnokki: un thakappanum un sakothararum unnidaththil vanthirukkiraarkalae. And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

6 Ekipthu thaesam unakku munpaaka irukkirathu; thaesaththil ulla nalla idaththilae un thakappanaiyum un sakothararaiyum kutiyaeraுmpati sey; avarkal kosen naattilae kutiyirukkalaam; avarkalukkullae thiramaiyullavarkal unndentu unakkuth therinthaal, avarkalai en aadumaadukalai visaarikkiratharkuth thalaivaraaka vaikkalaam entan. The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

7 Pinpu, yoseppu than thakappanaakiya yaakkopai alaiththukkonnduvanthu, avanaip paarvonukku munpaaka niraுththinaan. Yaakkopu paarvonai aaseervathiththaan. And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

8 Paarvon yaakkopai Nnokki: umakku vayathu enna entu kaettan. And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

9 Atharku yaakkopu: naan parathaesiyaaych sanjariththa naatkal noottaு muppathu varusham; en aayusunaatkal konjamum sanjalamullathumaayirukkirathu; avaikal parathaesikalaaych sanjariththa en pithaakkalutaiya aayusu naatkalukku vanthu ettavillai entu paarvonudanae sonnaan. And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

10 Pinnum yaakkopu paarvonai aaseervathiththu, avan samukaththinintu purappattup ponaan. And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

11 Paarvon kattalaiyittapatiyae, yoseppu than thakappanukkum than sakothararukkum ekipthu thaesaththilae nalla naadaakiya raamases ennum naattilae suthantharam koduththu, avarkalaik kutiyaettinaan. And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

12 Yoseppu than thakappanaiyum than sakothararaiyum than thakappanutaiya kudumpaththaar anaivaraiyum, avaravarkal kudumpaththirkuththakkathaay aakaaram koduththu aathariththu vanthaan. And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families.

13 Panjam mikavum kotithaayirunthathu; thaesamengum aakaaram kitaiyaamar poyittaு; ekipthu thaesamum kaanaan thaesamum panjaththinaalae melinthu poyittaு. And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

14 Yoseppu ekipthu thaesaththilum kaanaan thaesaththilumulla panaththaiyellaam thaaniyam konndavarkalidaththil vaangi, athaip paarvon aramanaiyilae konndupoych serththaan. And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

15 Ekipthu thaesaththilum kaanaan thaesaththilumulla panam selavalinthapothu, ekipthiyar ellaarum yoseppinidaththil vanthu engalukku aakaaram thaarum; panam illai, athinaal naangal umathu samukaththil saakavaenndumo entarkal And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

16 Atharku yoseppu: ungalidaththil panam illaamarponaal, ungal aadumaadukalaik kodungal; avaikalukkup pathilaaka ungalukkuth thaaniyam kodukkiraேn entan. And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

17 Avarkal thangal aadumaadu muthalaanavaikalai yoseppinidaththil konnduvanthaarkal; yoseppu kuthiraikalaiyum aadukalaiyum maadukalaiyum kaluthaikalaiyum vaangik konndu, antha varusham avarkalutaiya aadumaadu muthalaana ellaavattirkum pathilaaka avarkalukku aakaaram koduththu, avarkalai aathariththaan. And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

18 Antha varusham mutinthapin, maraுvarushaththilae avarkal avanidaththil vanthu: panamum selavalinthu poyittaு; engal aadumaadu muthalaanavaikalum engal aanndavanaich sernthathu; engal sareeramum nilamumae oliya, engal aanndavanukku munpaaka meethiyaanathu ontum illai; ithu engal aanndavanukkuth theriyaatha kaariyam alla. When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

19 Naangalum engal nilangalum ummutaiya kannkalukku munpaaka alinthu pokalaamaa? Neer engalaiyum engal nilangalaiyum vaangikkonndu, aakaaram kodukkavaenndum; naangalum engal nilangalum paarvonukku aatheenamaayiruppom; naangal saakaamal uyirotirukkavum, nilangal paalaayp pokaamalirukkavum, engalukku vithaith thaaniyaththaith thaarum entarkal. Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

20 Appatiyae ekipthiyar thangalukkup panjam maelittapatiyaal avaravar thangal thangal vayal nilangalai vittaாrkal; yoseppu ekipthin nilangal yaavaiyum paarvonukkaakak konndaan; ivvithamaay anthap poomi paarvonutaiyathaayittaு. And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's.

21 Maelum avan ekipthin oru ellai muthal maraு ellaivaraikkumulla janangalai anthanthap pattanangalil kutimaarippokappannnninaan. And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

22 Aasaariyarutaiya nilaththai maaththiram avan kollavillai; athu paarvonaalae aasaariyarukku maaniyamaakak kodukkappattirunthathinaalum, paarvon avarkalukkuk koduththa maaniyaththinaalae avarkal jeevanampannnnivanthathinaalum, avarkal thangal nilaththai virkavillai. Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

23 Pinnum yoseppu janangalai Nnokki: itho, intu ungalaiyum ungal nilangalaiyum paarvonukkaaka vaangikkonntaen; itho, ungalukkuk kodukkappadukira vithaiththaaniyam; ithai nilaththil vithaiyungal. Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

24 Vilaivil ainthil oru pangaip paarvonukkuk kodukkavaenndum; matta naalupangum vayalukku vithaiyaakavum ungalukkum ungal kudumpaththaarukkum ungal kulanthaikalukkum aakaaramaakavum ungalutaiyathaayirukkattum entan. And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

25 Appoluthu avarkal: neer engal piraananaik kaappaattineer; engal aanndavanutaiya kannkalil engalukkuth thayavu kitaikkavaenndum; naangal paarvonukku atimaikalaayirukkirom entarkal. And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

26 Ainthil ontu paarvonukkuch serum vaaram entu yoseppu itta kattalaippati ekipthu thaesaththilae innaalvaraikkum nadanthu varukirathu; aasaariyarin nilam maaththiram paarvonaich seraamal neengalaayirunthathu. And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part, except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.

27 Isravaelar ekipthu thaesaththilulla kosen naattilae kutiyirunthaarkal; angae nilangalaik kaiyaatchi seythu, mikavum palukip perukinaarkal. And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

30 Naan en pithaakkalotae paduththukkollavaenndum; aakaiyaal, nee ennai ekipthilirunthu eduththukkonndupoy, avarkalai adakkampannnniyirukkira nilaththilae ennaiyum adakkampannnu entan. Atharku avan: umathu sorpati seyvaen entan. But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

31 Appoluthu avan: enakku aannaiyittukkodu entan; avanukku aannaiyittukkoduththaan. Appoluthu Israel kattilin thalaimaattilae saaynthu tholuthukonndaan. And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.
