நான் என் பிதாக்களோடே படுத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்; ஆகையால், நீ என்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களை அடக்கம்பண்ணியிருக்கிற நிலத்திலே என்னையும் அடக்கம்பண்ணு என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: உமது சொற்படி செய்வேன் என்றான்.

நான் என் பிதாக்களோடு படுத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்; ஆகையால், நீ என்னை எகிப்திலிருந்து எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களை அடக்கம்செய்திருக்கிற நிலத்திலே என்னையும் அடக்கம்செய் என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: உமது சொற்படி செய்வேன் என்றான்.

எனது முற்பிதாக்களை அடக்கம் செய்த இடத்திலேயே என்னையும் அடக்கம் செய்துவிடு. இங்கிருந்து கொண்டுபோய் நமது குடும்பக் கல்லறையில் என்னை அடக்கம் செய்” என்றான். யோசேப்பு, “நீர் சொன்னபடியே நான் செய்வேன் என்று வாக்குறுதி செய்கிறேன்” என்றான்.

me out of Egypt, מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
and bury וּקְבַרְתַּ֖נִי qābar ka-VAHR
me in their buryingplace. בִּקְבֻֽרָתָ֑ם qĕbûrâ keh-voo-RA
And he said, וַיֹּאמַ֕ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
I אָֽנֹכִ֖י ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
will do אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥ה ʿāśâ ah-SA
as thou hast said. כִדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ dābār da-VAHR
