எகிப்தின் சம்பாத்தியமும், எத்தியோப்பியாவின் வர்த்தகலாபமும், நெடிய ஆட்களாகிய சபேயரின் வர்த்தகலாபமும், உன்னிடத்திற்குத் தாண்டிவந்து, உன்னுடையதாகும்; அவர்கள் உன் பின்னே சென்று, விலங்கிடப்பட்டு நடந்துவந்து: உன்னுடனேமாத்திரம் தேவன் இருக்கிறார் என்றும், அவரையல்லாமல் வேறே தேவன் இல்லையென்றும் சொல்லி, உன்னைப்பணிந்துகொண்டு, உன்னை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார், “எகிப்தும் எத்தியோப்பியாவும் வளமாக உள்ளன. ஆனால் இஸ்ரவேலே, அந்தச் செல்வத்தை நீ பெறுவாய். சேபாவிலுள்ள வளர்ந்த ஜனங்கள் உன்னுடையவர்கள் ஆவார்கள். அவர்கள் உனக்குப் பின்னால் நடந்து வருவார்கள். அவர்களின் கழுத்துக்களைச் சுற்றிச் சங்கிலிகள் கிடக்கும். அவர்கள் உனக்கு முன்பு பணிவார்கள். ஜெபம் செய்வார்கள், இஸ்ரவேலே, ‘தேவன் உன்னோடு இருக்கிறார். வேறு தேவனில்லை.’”
