சங்கீதம் 66

1 பூமியின் குடிகளே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீராய்ப் பாடுங்கள். Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:

2 அவர் நாமத்தின் மகத்துவத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணி, அவருடைய துதியின் மகிமையைக் கொண்டாடுங்கள். Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

3 தேவனை நோக்கி: உமது கிரியைகளில் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது மகத்துவமான வல்லமையினிமித்தம் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உமக்கு இச்சகம்பேசி அடங்குவார்கள். Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

4 பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் உம்மைப்பணிந்துகொண்டு உம்மைத் துதித்துப்பாடுவார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நாமத்தைத் துதித்துப் பாடுவார்கள் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். (சேலா.) All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

5 தேவனுடைய செய்கைகளை வந்துபாருங்கள், அவர் மனுபுத்திரரிடத்தில் நடப்பிக்குங் கிரியையில் பயங்கரமானவர். Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

6 கடலை உலர்ந்த தரையாக மாற்றினார்; ஆற்றைக் கால்நடையாய்க் கடந்தார்கள்; அங்கே அவரில் களிகூர்ந்தோம். He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

7 அவர் தம்முடைய வல்லமையினால் என்றென்றைக்கும் அரசாளுகிறார்; அவருடைய கண்கள் ஜாதிகள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; துரோகிகள் தங்களை உயர்த்தாதிருப்பார்களாக.(சேலா.) He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

8 ஜனங்களே நம்முடைய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரித்து, அவரைத் துதிக்குஞ்சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணுங்கள். O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:

9 அவர் நம்முடைய கால்களைத் தள்ளாடவொட்டாமல், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமாவை உயிரோடே வைக்கிறார். Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

10 தேவனே, எங்களைச் சோதித்தீர்; வெள்ளியைப் புடமிடுகிறதுபோல எங்களைப் புடமிட்டீர். For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

11 எங்களை வலையில் அகப்படுத்தி, எங்கள் இடுப்புகளின்மேல் வருத்தமான பாரத்தை ஏற்றினீர், Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.

12 மனுஷரை எங்கள் தலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போகப்பண்ணினீர்; தீயையும் தண்ணீரையும் கடந்துவந்தோம்; செழிப்பான இடத்தில் எங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து விட்டீர். Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

13 சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளோடே உமது ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பேன்; I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

14 என் இக்கட்டில் நான் என் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து, என் வாயினால் சொல்லிய என் பொருத்தனைகளை உமக்குச் செலுத்துவேன். Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

15 ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் நிணப்புகையுடனே கொழுமையானவைகளை உமக்குத் தகனபலியாக இடுவேன்; காளைகளையும் செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களையும் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன். (சேலா.) I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

16 தேவனுக்குப் பயந்தவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் வந்து கேளுங்கள்; அவர் என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குச் செய்ததைச் சொல்லுவேன். Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

17 அவரை நோக்கி என் வாயினால் கூப்பிட்டேன், என் நாவினால் அவர் புகழப்பட்டார். I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

18 என் இருதயத்தில் அக்கிரமசிந்தை கொண்டிருந்தேனானால், ஆண்டவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடார். If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

19 மெய்யாய் தேவன் எனக்குச்செவிகொடுத்தார், என் ஜெபத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார். But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 என் ஜெபத்தைத் தள்ளாமலும், தமது கிருபையை என்னைவிட்டு விலக்காமலும் இருந்த தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
