அவர்கள் வந்து: போதகரே, நீர் சத்தியமுள்ளவரென்றும், எவனைக்குறித்தும் உமக்குக் கவையில்லை என்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம், நீர் முகதாட்சணியம் இல்லாதவராய்த் தேவனுடைய மார்க்கத்தைச் சத்தியமாய்ப் போதிக்கிறீர், இராயனுக்கு வரிகொடுக்கிறது நியாயமோ அல்லவோ? நாம் கொடுக்கலாமோ, கொடுக்கக்கூடாதோ? என்று கேட்டார்கள்.

அவர்கள் வந்து: போதகரே, நீர் சத்தியமுள்ளவர் என்றும், எவனைக்குறித்தும் உமக்குக் கவலையில்லை என்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம், நீர் முகதாட்சிணியம் இல்லாதவராக தேவனுடைய வழிகளைச் சத்தியமாகப் போதிக்கிறீர், இராயனுக்கு வரிகொடுக்கிறது நியாயமோ, இல்லையோ? நாம் வரி கொடுக்கலாமா, வேண்டாமா? என்று கேட்டார்கள்.

பரிசேயர்களும், ஏரோதியர்களும் இயேசுவிடம் சென்றனர். “போதகரே! நீங்கள் ஒரு நேர்மையான மனிதர் என்று எங்களுக்குத் தெரியும். மற்றவர்கள் என்ன நினைக்கிறார்கள் என்பது பற்றி உங்களுக்கு எவ்வித அச்சமும் கிடையாது. அவர்கள் அனைவரும் உங்களுக்கு ஒரே மாதிரிதான். தேவனின் வழியைப் பற்றிய உண்மையையே நீங்கள் சொல்லிக்கொண்டு வருகிறீர்கள். இராயனுக்கு வரி கொடுப்பது சரியா இல்லையா என்பது பற்றிக் கூறுங்கள். நாங்கள் வரி கொடுக்கலாமா, வேண்டாமா?” என்று கேட்டனர்.

Naam kodukkalaamo, kodukkakkoodaatho? Entu kaettarkal.
