இதினிமித்தம் நீ திரும்பினால் நான் உன்னைத் திரும்பச் சீர்ப்படுத்துவேன்; என் முகத்துக்குமுன்பாக நிலைத்துமிருப்பாய்; நீ தீழ்ப்பானதினின்று விலையேறப்பெற்றதைப் பிரித்தெடுத்தால், என் வாய்போலிருப்பாய்; நீ அவர்களிடத்தில் திரும்பாமல், அவர்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் திரும்புவார்களாக என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

இதினால் நீ திரும்பினால் நான் உன்னைத் திரும்ப ஒழுங்குபடுத்துவேன்; என் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக நிலைத்துமிருப்பாய்; நீ பயனற்றதிலிருந்து விலையேறப்பெற்றதைப் பிரித்தெடுத்தால், என் வாய் போலிருப்பாய்; நீ அவர்களிடத்தில் திரும்பாமல், அவர்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் திரும்புவார்களாக என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

பிறகு, கர்த்தர், “எரேமியா, நீ மாறி என்னிடம் திரும்பிவந்தால், பிறகு நான் உன்னைத் தண்டிக்கமாட்டேன். நீ மாறி என்னிடம் திரும்பிவந்தால், நீ எனக்கு சேவை செய்யலாம். நீ பயனற்ற வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசாமல், முக்கியமானவற்றைப்பற்றி பேசினால் பின் நீ எனக்காகப் பேசமுடியும். யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் மாறி உன்னிடம் திரும்பி வருவார்கள். ஆனால் நீ மாறி அவர்களைப்போல் இருக்க வேண்டாம்.

Ithinimiththam nee thirumpinaal naan unnaith thirumpach seerppaduththuvaen; en mukaththukkumunpaaka nilaiththumiruppaay; nee theelppaanathinintu vilaiyaerappettathaip piriththeduththaal, en vaaypoliruppaay; nee avarkalidaththil thirumpaamal, avarkal unnidaththil thirumpuvaarkalaaka entu Karththar sollukiraar.
