Exodus 21 in Tamil

1 மேலும், நீ அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்க வேண்டிய பிரமாணங்களாவன: Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

2 எபிரெயரில் ஒரு அடிமையைக் கொண்டாயானால், அவன் ஆறுவருஷம் சேவித்து, ஏழாம் வருஷத்திலே ஒன்றும் கொடாமல் விடுதலைபெற்றுப் போகக்கடவன். If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

3 ஒன்றிக்காரனாய் வந்திருந்தானானால், ஒன்றிக்காரனாய்ப் போகக்கடவன்; விவாகம்பண்ணினவனாய் வந்திருந்தானானால், அவன் பெண்ஜாதி அவனோடேகூடப் போகக்கடவள். If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.

4 அவன் எஜமான் அவனுக்கு ஒரு பெண்ணை விவாகஞ்செய்து கொடுத்தும், அவள் அவனுக்கு ஆண்பிள்ளைகளையாவது பெண்பிள்ளைகளையாவது பெற்றும் இருந்தால், அந்தப் பெண்ணும் அவள் பிள்ளைகளும் அவள் எஜமானைச் சேரக்கடவர்கள்; அவன் மாத்திரம் ஒன்றியாய்ப் போகக்கடவன். If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

5 அந்த வேலைக்காரன்: என் எஜமானையும் என் பெண்ஜாதியையும் என் பிள்ளைகளையும் நேசிக்கிறேன்; நான் விடுதலை பெற்றுப்போக மனதில்லை என்று மனப்பூர்வமாய்ச் சொல்வானானால், And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:

6 அவன் எஜமான் அவனை நியாயாதிபதிகளிடத்தில் அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவனைக் கதவின் அருகேயாவது கதவுநிலையின் அருகேயாவது சேரப்பண்ணி, அங்கே அவன் எஜமான் அவன் காதைக் கம்பியினாலே குத்தக்கடவன்; பின்பு அவன் என்றைக்கும் அவனிடத்திலே சேவித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கக்கடவன். Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.

7 ஒருவன் தன் மகளை வேலைக்காரியாக விற்றுப்போட்டானானால், வேலைக்காரன் விடுதலைபெற்றுப் போவதுபோல அவள் போகக் கூடாது. And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

8 அவளைத் தனக்கு நியமித்துக் கொண்ட எஜமானின் பார்வைக்கு அவள் தகாதவளாய்ப் போனால், அவள் மீட்கப்படலாம்; அவன் அவளுக்குத் துரோகம்பண்ணி, அவளை அந்நியர் கையில் விற்றுப்போட அவனுக்கு அதிகாரம் இல்லை. If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.

9 அவன் தன் குமாரனுக்கு அவளை நியமித்திருந்தானானால், தன் குமாரத்திகளை நடத்துவதுபோல அவளையும் நடத்தக்கடவன். And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.

10 அவன் வேறொரு பெண்ணைக் கொண்டானாகில், இவளுக்குரிய அன்னவஸ்திர விவாகக்கடமை ஆகிய இவைகளில் குறைவுசெய்யாமல் இருப்பானாக. If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

11 இம்மூன்றும் அவன் அவளுக்குச் செய்யாமற்போனால், அவள் பணங்கொடாமல் விடுதலைபெற்றுப் போகக்கடவள். And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

12 ஒரு மனிதனைச் சாகும்படி அடித்தவன், நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன். He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.

13 ஒருவன் பதிவிருந்து கொல்லாமல், தேவச்செயலாய்த் தன் கைக்கு நேரிட்டவனைக் கொன்றால், அவன் ஓடிப்போய்ச் சேரவேண்டிய ஸ்தலத்தை உனக்கு நியமிப்பேன். And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.

14 ஒருவன் பிறனுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சதிமோசஞ்செய்து, அவனைத் துணிகரமாய்க் கொன்றுபோட்டால், அவனை என் பலிபீடத்திலிருந்தும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு போய்க் கொலைசெய்யவேண்டும். But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

15 தன் தகப்பனையாவது தன் தாயையாவது அடிக்கிறவன் நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன். And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

16 ஒருவன் ஒரு மனிதனைத் திருடி விற்றுப்போட்டாலும், இவன் அவன் வசத்திலிருக்கக் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டாலும் அவன் நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன். And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

17 தன் தகப்பனையாவது தன் தாயையாவது சபிக்கிறவன் நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன். And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

18 மனிதர் சண்டைபண்ணி, ஒருவன் மற்றொருவனைக் கல்லால் எறிந்ததினாலாவது கையால் அடித்ததினாலாவது அவன் சாவாமல் கட்டில்கிடையாய்க் கிடந்து, And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:

19 திரும்ப எழுந்திருந்து வெளியிலே தன் ஊன்றுகோலைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு நடமாடினால், அடித்தவன் ஆக்கினைக்கு நீங்கலாயிருப்பான்; ஆனாலும், அவனுக்கு வேலை மினக்கெட்ட நஷ்டத்தைக் கொடுத்து, அவனை நன்றாய்க் குணமாக்குவிக்கக்கடவன். If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

20 ஒருவன் தனக்கு அடிமையானவனையாவது தனக்கு அடிமையானவளையாவது, கோலால் அடித்ததினாலே, அவன் கையால் இறந்துபோனால், பழிக்குப்பழி வாங்கப்படவேண்டும். And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

21 ஒரு நாளாவது இரண்டு நாளாவது உயிரோடிருந்தால், அவர்கள் அவனுடைய உடைமையாகையால், பழிவாங்கவேண்டியதில்லை. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

22 மனிதர் சண்டைபண்ணி, கர்ப்பவதியான ஒரு ஸ்திரீயை அடித்ததினால், அவளுக்கு வேறே சேதமில்லாமல் கர்ப்பம் விழுந்துபோனால் அடிபட்ட ஸ்திரீயின் புருஷன் அடித்தவன்மேல் சுமத்துகிறதற்குத்தக்கதாயும் நியாயாதிபதிகள் செய்யும் தீர்ப்பின்படியும் தண்டம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

23 வேறே சேதமுண்டானால், ஜீவனுக்கு ஜீவன், And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,

24 கண்ணுக்குக் கண், பல்லுக்குப் பல், கைக்குக் கை, காலுக்குக் கால், Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

25 சூட்டுக்குச் சூடு, காயத்துக்குக் காயம், தழும்புக்குத் தழும்பு பழி கொடுக்கவேண்டும். Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

26 ஒருவன் தன் அடிமையானவன் கண்ணையாகிலும் தன் அடிமைப்பெண்ணின் கண்ணையாகிலும் அடித்ததினால் அதைக் கெடுத்தால் அவன் கண்ணுக்குப் பதிலாக அவனை விடுதலைபண்ணிவிடவேண்டும். And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.

27 அவன் தன் அடிமையானவன் பல்லையாவது தன் அடிமைப்பெண்ணின் பல்லையாவது உதிர அடித்தால் அவன் பல்லுக்குப்பதிலாக அவனை விடுதலைபண்ணிவிடவேண்டும். And if he smite out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.

28 ஒரு மாடு ஒரு புருஷனையாவது ஒரு ஸ்திரீயையாவது முட்டினதினால் சாவுண்டானால், அந்த மாடு கல்லெறியப்படவேண்டும், அதின் மாம்சம் புசிக்கப்படலாகாது; அப்பொழுது மாட்டின் எஜமான் ஆக்கினைக்கு நீங்கலாயிருப்பான். If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.

29 தன் மாடு வழக்கமாய் முட்டுகிற மாடாயிருந்து, அது அதின் எஜமானுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டும், அவன் அதைக் கட்டிவைக்காததினால், அது ஒரு புருஷனையாவது ஒரு ஸ்திரீயையாவது கொன்றுபோட்டால், மாடும் கல்லெறியப்படவேண்டும், அதின் எஜமானும் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும். But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.

30 அபராதம் கொடுக்கும்படி தீர்க்கப்பட்டதானால், அவன் தன் ஜீவனை மீட்கும் பொருளாக விதிக்கப்பட்ட அபராதத்கைக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன். If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.

31 அது ஒருவன் மகனை முட்டினாலும் சரி, ஒருவன் மகளை முட்டினாலும் சரி, இந்தத் தீர்ப்பின்படியே அவனுக்குச் செய்யப்படவேண்டும். Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

32 அந்த மாடு ஒரு அடிமையானவனையாவது ஒரு அடிமைப்பெண்ணையாவது முட்டினால், அதற்கு உடையவன் அவர்களுடைய எஜமானுக்கு முப்பது சேக்கல் நிறையான வெள்ளியைக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; மாடு கல்லெறியப்படவேண்டும். If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

33 ஒருவன் ஒரு குழியைத் திறந்து வைத்ததினாலாவது, ஒரு குழியை வெட்டி அதை மூடாதேபோனதினாலாவது, அதிலே ஒரு மாடாவது ஒரு கழுதையாவது விழுந்தால், And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;

34 குழிக்கு உடையவன் அதற்கு ஈடாகப் பணத்தை மிருகத்தின் எஜமானுக்குக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; செத்ததோ அவனுடையதாகவேண்டும். The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.

35 ஒருவனுடைய மாடு மற்றவனுடைய மாட்டை முட்டினதினால் அது செத்தால், உயிரோடிருக்கிற மாட்டை அவர்கள் விற்று, அதின் கிரயத்தைப் பங்கிட்டு, செத்ததையும் பங்கிட்டுக்கொள்ளக்கடவர்கள். And if one man's ox hurt another's, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.

36 அந்த மாடு முன்னமே முட்டுகிற மாடென்று அதின் எஜமான் அறிந்திருந்தும், அதைக் கட்டிவைக்காதிருந்தால், அவன் மாட்டுக்கு மாட்டைக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; செத்ததோ அவனுடையதாகவேண்டும். Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.

1 Maelum, nee avarkalukku arivikka vaenntiya piramaanangalaavana: Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

2 Epireyaril oru atimaiyaik konndaayaanaal, avan aaraுvarusham seviththu, aelaam varushaththilae ontum kodaamal viduthalaipettaுp pokakkadavan. If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

3 Ontikkaaranaay vanthirunthaanaanaal, ontikkaaranaayp pokakkadavan; vivaakampannnninavanaay vanthirunthaanaanaal, avan pennjaathi avanotaekoodap pokakkadaval. If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.

4 Avan ejamaan avanukku oru pennnnai vivaakanjaெythu koduththum, aval avanukku aannpillaikalaiyaavathu pennpillaikalaiyaavathu pettaுm irunthaal, anthap pennnum aval pillaikalum aval ejamaanaich serakkadavarkal; avan maaththiram ontiyaayp pokakkadavan. If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

5 Antha vaelaikkaaran: en ejamaanaiyum en pennjaathiyaiyum en pillaikalaiyum naesikkiraேn; naan viduthalai pettaுppoka manathillai entu manappoorvamaaych solvaanaanaal, And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:

6 Avan ejamaan avanai niyaayaathipathikalidaththil alaiththukkonndupoy, avanaik kathavin arukaeyaavathu kathavunilaiyin arukaeyaavathu serappannnni, angae avan ejamaan avan kaathaik kampiyinaalae kuththakkadavan; pinpu avan entaikkum avanidaththilae seviththukkonntirukkakkadavan. Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.

7 Oruvan than makalai vaelaikkaariyaaka vittaுppottanaanaal, vaelaikkaaran viduthalaipettaுp povathupola aval pokak koodaathu. And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

8 Avalaith thanakku niyamiththuk konnda ejamaanin paarvaikku aval thakaathavalaayp ponaal, aval meetkappadalaam; avan avalukkuth thurokampannnni, avalai anniyar kaiyil vittaுppoda avanukku athikaaram illai. If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.

9 Avan than kumaaranukku avalai niyamiththirunthaanaanaal, than kumaaraththikalai nadaththuvathupola avalaiyum nadaththakkadavan. And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.

10 Avan vaeroru pennnnaik konndaanaakil, ivalukkuriya annavasthira vivaakakkadamai aakiya ivaikalil kuraivuseyyaamal iruppaanaaka. If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

11 Immoontum avan avalukkuch seyyaamarponaal, aval panangaொdaamal viduthalaipettaுp pokakkadaval. And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

12 Oru manithanaich saakumpati atiththavan, nichchayamaayk kolaiseyyappadakkadavan. He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.

13 Oruvan pathivirunthu kollaamal, thaevachcheyalaayth than kaikku naerittavanaik kontal, avan otippoych seravaenntiya sthalaththai unakku niyamippaen. And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.

14 Oruvan piranukku virothamaakach sathimosanjaெythu, avanaith thunnikaramaayk kontupottal, avanai en palipeedaththilirunthum pitiththukkonndu poyk kolaiseyyavaenndum. But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

15 Than thakappanaiyaavathu than thaayaiyaavathu atikkiravan nichchayamaayk kolaiseyyappadakkadavan. And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

16 Oruvan oru manithanaith thiruti vittaுppottalum, ivan avan vasaththilirukkak kanndupitikkappattalum avan nichchayamaayk kolaiseyyappadakkadavan. And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

17 Than thakappanaiyaavathu than thaayaiyaavathu sapikkiravan nichchayamaayk kolaiseyyappadakkadavan. And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

18 Manithar sanntaipannnni, oruvan mattaொruvanaik kallaal erinthathinaalaavathu kaiyaal atiththathinaalaavathu avan saavaamal kattilkitaiyaayk kidanthu, And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:

19 Thirumpa elunthirunthu veliyilae than oontukolaip pitiththukkonndu nadamaatinaal, atiththavan aakkinaikku neengalaayiruppaan; aanaalum, avanukku vaelai minakketta nashdaththaik koduththu, avanai nantayk kunamaakkuvikkakkadavan. 20 Oruvan thanakku atimaiyaanavanaiyaavathu thanakku atimaiyaanavalaiyaavathu, kolaal atiththathinaalae, avan kaiyaal iranthuponaal, palikkuppali vaangappadavaenndum. And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

21 Oru naalaavathu iranndu naalaavathu uyirotirunthaal, avarkal avanutaiya utaimaiyaakaiyaal, palivaangavaenntiyathillai. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

22 Manithar sanntaipannnni, karppavathiyaana oru sthireeyai atiththathinaal, avalukku vaeraே sethamillaamal karppam vilunthuponaal atipatta sthireeyin purushan atiththavanmael sumaththukiratharkuththakkathaayum niyaayaathipathikal seyyum theerppinpatiyum thanndam kodukkavaenndum. 23 Vaeraே sethamunndaanaal, jeevanukku jeevan, And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,

24 Kannnukkuk kann, pallukkup pal, kaikkuk kai, kaalukkuk kaal, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

25 Soottukkuch soodu, kaayaththukkuk kaayam, thalumpukkuth thalumpu pali kodukkavaenndum. Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

26 Oruvan than atimaiyaanavan kannnnaiyaakilum than atimaippennnnin kannnnaiyaakilum atiththathinaal athaik keduththaal avan kannnukkup pathilaaka avanai viduthalaipannnnividavaenndum. And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.

27 Avan than atimaiyaanavan pallaiyaavathu than atimaippennnnin pallaiyaavathu uthira atiththaal avan pallukkuppathilaaka avanai viduthalaipannnnividavaenndum. And if he smite out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.

28 Oru maadu oru purushanaiyaavathu oru sthireeyaiyaavathu muttinathinaal saavunndaanaal, antha maadu kalleriyappadavaenndum, athin maamsam pusikkappadalaakaathu; appoluthu maattin ejamaan aakkinaikku neengalaayiruppaan. If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.

29 Than maadu valakkamaay muttukira maadaayirunthu, athu athin ejamaanukku arivikkappattum, avan athaik kattivaikkaathathinaal, athu oru purushanaiyaavathu oru sthireeyaiyaavathu kontupottal, maadum kalleriyappadavaenndum, athin ejamaanum kolaiseyyappadavaenndum. 30 Aparaatham kodukkumpati theerkkappattathaanaal, avan than jeevanai meetkum porulaaka vithikkappatta aparaathathkaik kodukkakkadavan. If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.

31 Athu oruvan makanai muttinaalum sari, oruvan makalai muttinaalum sari, inthath theerppinpatiyae avanukkuch seyyappadavaenndum. Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

32 Antha maadu oru atimaiyaanavanaiyaavathu oru atimaippennnnaiyaavathu muttinaal, atharku utaiyavan avarkalutaiya ejamaanukku muppathu sekkal niraiyaana velliyaik kodukkakkadavan; maadu kalleriyappadavaenndum. If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

33 Oruvan oru kuliyaith thiranthu vaiththathinaalaavathu, oru kuliyai vetti athai moodaathaeponathinaalaavathu, athilae oru maadaavathu oru kaluthaiyaavathu vilunthaal, And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;

34 Kulikku utaiyavan atharku eedaakap panaththai mirukaththin ejamaanukkuk kodukkakkadavan; seththatho avanutaiyathaakavaenndum. The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.

35 Oruvanutaiya maadu mattavanutaiya maattaை muttinathinaal athu seththaal, uyirotirukkira maattaை avarkal vittaு, athin kirayaththaip pangittu, seththathaiyum pangittukkollakkadavarkal. And if one man's ox hurt another's, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.

36 Antha maadu munnamae muttukira maadentu athin ejamaan arinthirunthum, athaik kattivaikkaathirunthaal, avan maattukku maattaைk kodukkakkadavan; seththatho avanutaiyathaakavaenndum. Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
