2 Samuel 3 in Tamil

1 சவுலின் குடும்பத்துக்கும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்துக்கும்; நெடுநாள் யுத்தம் நடந்தது; தாவீது வரவர பலத்தான்; சவுலின் குடும்பத்தாரோ வரவர பலவீனப்பட்டுப் போனார்கள். Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

2 எப்ரோனிலே தாவீதுக்குப் பிறந்த குமாரர்: யெஸ்ரயேல் ஊராளான அகினோவாமிடத்திலே பிறந்த அம்னோன் அவனுக்கு முதல் பிறந்தவன். And unto David were sons born in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;

3 நாபாலின் மனைவியாயிருந்த கர்மேல் ஊரானான அபிகாயிலிடத்திலே பிறந்த கீலேயாப் அவனுடைய இரண்டாம் குமாரன்; மூன்றாம் குமாரன் கேசூரின் ராஜாவான தல்மாய் குமாரத்தியாகிய மாக்காள் பெற்ற அப்சலோம் என்பவன். And his second, Chileab, of Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;

4 நாலாம் குமாரன் ஆகீத் பெற்ற அதோனியா என்பவன்; ஐந்தாம் குமாரன் அபித்தாள் பெற்ற செப்பத்தியா என்பவன்; And the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;

5 ஆறாம் குமாரன் தாவீதின் மனைவியாகிய எக்லாளிடத்தில் பிறந்த இத்ரேயாம் என்பவன்; இவர்கள் எப்ரோனிலே தாவீதுக்குப் பிறந்தவர்கள். And the sixth, Ithream, by Eglah David's wife. These were born to David in Hebron.

6 சவுலின் குடும்பத்துக்கும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்துக்கும் யுத்தம் நடந்துவருகிறபோது அப்னேர் சவுலின் குடும்பத்திலே பலத்தவனானான். And it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong for the house of Saul.

7 சவுலுக்கு ஆயாவின் குமாரத்தியாகிய ரிஸ்பான் என்னும் பேருள்ள ஒரு மறு மனையாட்டி இருந்தாள்; இஸ்போசேத் அப்னேரை நோக்கி: நீ என் தகப்பனாருடைய மறுமனையாட்டியினிடத்தில் பிரவேசித்தது என்ன என்றான். And Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah: and Ishbosheth said to Abner, Wherefore hast thou gone in unto my father's concubine?

Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head, which against Judah do show kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?

11 அப்பொழுது அவன் அப்னேருக்குப் பயப்பட்டதினால், அப்புறம் ஒரு மறுமொழியும் அவனுக்குச் சொல்லாதிருந்தான். And he could not answer Abner a word again, because he feared him.

12 அப்னேர் தன் நாமத்தினாலே தாவீதினிடத்திற்கு ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பி தேசம் யாருடையது? என்னோடு உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணும்; இதோ இஸ்ரவேலையெல்லாம் உம்மிடத்தில் திருப்ப என் கையெல்லாம் உம்மோடிருக்கும் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான். And Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying also, Make thy league with me, and, behold, my hand shall be with thee, to bring about all Israel unto thee.

13 அதற்குத் தாவீது: நல்லது உன்னோட நான் உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணுவேன், ஆனாலும் ஒரே காரியம் உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; அது என்னவெனில், நீ என் முகத்தைப் பார்க்க வரும்போது சவுலின் குமாரத்தியாகிய மீகாளை நீ அழைத்துவரவேண்டும்; அதற்குமுன் நீ என் முகத்தைப் பார்ப்பதில்லை என்று சொல்லச்சொல்லி, And he said, Well; I will make a league with thee: but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou first bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face.

15 அப்பொழுது இஸ்போசேத் அவளை லாயீசின் குமாரனாகிய பல்த்தியேல் என்னும் புருஷனிடத்திலிருந்து அழைத்து வர ஆட்களை அனுப்பினான். And Ishbosheth sent, and took her from her husband, even from Phaltiel the son of Laish.

16 அவள் புருஷன் பகூரிம்மட்டும் அவள் பிறகாலே அழுதுகொண்டுவந்தான்; அப்னேர் அவனை நோக்கி: நீ திரும்பிப்போ என்றான்; அவன் திரும்பிப் போய்விட்டான். And her husband went with her along weeping behind her to Bahurim. Then said Abner unto him, Go, return. And he returned.

17 அப்னேர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரோடே பேசி: தாவீதை உங்கள்மேல் ராஜாவாக வைக்கும்படிக்கு நீங்கள் அநேகநாளாய்த் தேடினீர்களே. And Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for David in times past to be king over you:

18 இப்போதும் அப்படிச் செய்யுங்கள்; என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் கையினால் என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலைப் பெலிஸ்தரின் கைக்கும், அவர்களுடைய எல்லாச் சத்துருக்களின் கைக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி ரட்சிப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தர் தாவீதைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே என்றான். Now then do it: for the LORD hath spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.

19 இந்தப்பிரகாரமாக அப்னேர் பென்யமீன் மனுஷர் காதுகள் கேட்கப் பேசினான்; பின்பு அப்னேர் இஸ்ரவேலர் பார்வைக்கும் பென்யமீனுடைய எல்லாக் குடும்பத்தாரின் பார்வைக்கும் சம்மதியானதையெல்லாம் எப்ரோனிலே தாவீதின் காதுகள் கேட்கப் பேசுகிறதற்குப் போனான். And Abner also spake in the ears of Benjamin: and Abner went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to the whole house of Benjamin.

20 அப்னேரும் அவனோடேகூட இருபது; பேரும் எப்ரோனிலிருக்கிற தாவீதினிடத்தில் வந்தபோது, தாவீது அப்னேருக்கும், அவனோடே வந்த மனுஷருக்கும் விருந்துசெய்தான். So Abner came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. And David made Abner and the men that were with him a feast.

21 பின்பு அப்னேர் தாவீதை நோக்கி: நான் எழுந்துபோய் இஸ்ரவேலை எல்லாம் உம்மோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணும்படிக்கு, ராஜாவாகிய என் ஆண்டவனிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு; வருகிறேன்; அதினாலே உம்முடைய ஆத்துமா அரசாள விரும்புகிற இடமெல்லாம் அரசாளுவீர் என்றான்; அப்படியே தாவீது அப்னேரை அனுப்பிவிட்டான்; அவன் சமாதானத்தோடே போனான். And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he went in peace.

22 தாவீதின் சேவகரும் யோவாபும் அநேகம் பொருட்களைக் கொள்ளையிட்டு தண்டிலிருந்து கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அப்னேர் எப்ரோனில் தாவீதினிடத்தில் இல்லை; அவனை அனுப்பிவிட்டான்; அவன் சமாதானத்தோடே போய்விட்டான். And, behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in peace.

23 யோவாபும் அவனோடிருந்த எல்லாச் சேனையும் வந்தபோது, நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேர் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் வந்தான் என்றும், அவர் அவனைச் சமாதானமாய்ப்போக அனுப்பிவிட்டார் என்றும் யோவாவுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள். When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in peace.

24 அப்பொழுது யோவாப் ராஜாவண்டையில் பிரவேசித்து: என்ன செய்தீர்? இதோ அப்னேர் உம்மிடத்தில் வந்தானே, நீர் அவனைப் போகவிட்டது என்ன? Then Joab came to the king, and said, What hast thou done? behold, Abner came unto thee; why is it that thou hast sent him away, and he is quite gone?

25 நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேரை அறிவீரே; அவன் உம்மை மோசம்போக்கவும், உம்முடைய போக்குவரத்தை அறியவும், நீர் செய்கிறதையெல்லாம் ஆராயவும் வந்தான் என்று சொன்னான். Thou knowest Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive thee, and to know thy going out and thy coming in, and to know all that thou doest.

26 யோவாப் தாவீதை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டவுடனே அவன் அப்னேரைத் தாவீதுக்குத் தெரியாமல் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வரும்படி ஆட்களை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் சீரா என்னும் துரவுமட்டும்போய் அவனை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தார்கள். And when Joab was come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, which brought him again from the well of Sirah: but David knew it not.

And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him there under the fifth rib, that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

29 அது யோவாபுடைய தலையின் மேலும், அவன் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தின் மேலும் சுமந்திருப்பதாக; யோவாபின் வீட்டாரிலே பிரமியக்காரனும், குஷ்டரோகியும், கோல் ஊன்றி நடக்கிறவனும், பட்டயத்தால் விழுகிறவனும், அப்பம் குறைச்சலுள்ளவனும் ஒருக்காலும் ஒழிந்துபோகவதில்லை என்றான். Let it rest on the head of Joab, and on all his father's house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth on the sword, or that lacketh bread.

30 அப்னேர் கிபியோனில் நடந்த யுத்ததிலே தங்கள் தம்பியாகிய ஆசகேலைக் கொன்றதினிமித்தம் யோவாபும் அவன் சகோதரனாகிய அபிசாயும் அவனைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணினார்கள். So Joab, and Abishai his brother slew Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahel at Gibeon in the battle.

31 தாவீது யோவாபையும் அவனோடிருந்த சகல ஜனங்களையும் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் உங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு, இரட்டுடுத்தி, அப்னேருக்கு முன்னாக நடந்து துக்கங்கொண்டாடுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, தாவீதுராஜா தானும் பாடைக்குப் பின்சென்றான். And David said to Joab, and to all the people that were with him, Rend your clothes, and gird you with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And king David himself followed the bier.

32 அவர்கள் அப்னேரை எப்ரோனிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணுகையில் ராஜா அப்னேரின் கல்லறையண்டையிலே சத்தமிட்டு அழுதான்; சகல ஜனங்களும் அழுதார்கள். And they buried Abner in Hebron: and the king lifted up his voice, and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.

33 ராஜா அப்னேருக்காகப் புலம்பி: மதிகெட்டவன் சாகிறதுபோல அப்னேர் செத்துப்போனானோ? And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?

34 உன் கைகள் கட்டப்படவும் இல்லை, உன் கால்களில் விலங்கு போடப்பட்டவும் இல்லை, துஷ்டர் கையில் மடிகிறதுபோல மடிந்தாயே என்றான்; அப்பொழுது ஜனங்களளெல்லாரும் பின்னும் அதிகமாய் அவனுக்காக அழுதார்கள். Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, so fellest thou. And all the people wept again over him.

35 பொழுது இன்னும் இருக்கையில், ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் வந்து அப்பம் புசியும் என்று தாவீதுக்குப் சொன்னபோது, தாவீது: சூரியன் அஸ்தமிக்கிறதற்கு முன்னே நான் அப்பத்தையாகிலும், வெறெதையாகிலும் ருசிபார்த்தால் தேவன் எனக்கு அதற்குச் சரியாகவும் அதற்கு அதிகமாகவும் செய்யக்கடவர் என்று ஆணையிட்டுச் சொன்னான். And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.

36 ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் அதைக் கவனித்தார்கள்; அது அவர்கள் பார்வைக்கு நன்றாயிருந்தது; அப்படியே ராஜா செய்ததெல்லாம் சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் நலமாய்த் தோன்றினது. And all the people took notice of it, and it pleased them: as whatsoever the king did pleased all the people.

37 நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டது ராஜாவினால் உண்டானதல்லவென்று அந்நாளிலே சகல ஜனங்களும், இஸ்ரவேலர் அனைவரும் அறிந்துகொண்டார்கள். For all the people and all Israel understood that day that it was not of the king to slay Abner the son of Ner.

38 ராஜா தன் ஊழியக்காரரை நோக்கி: இன்றையதினம் இஸ்ரவேலில் பிரபுவும், பெரிய மனுஷனுமாகிய ஒருவன் விழுந்தான் என்று அறியீர்களா? And the king said unto his servants, Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel?

39 நான் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணப்பட்டவனாயிருந்தபோதிலும் நான் இன்னும் பலவீனன்; செருயாவின் குமாரராகிய இந்த மனுஷர் என் பலத்துக்கு மிஞ்சினவர்களாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; அந்தப் பொல்லாப்பைச் செய்தவனுக்கு கர்த்தர் அவன் பொல்லாப்புக்குத்தக்கதாய்ச் சரிக்கட்டுவாராக என்றான். And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.

Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

5 Aaraam kumaaran thaaveethin manaiviyaakiya eklaalidaththil pirantha ithraeyaam enpavan; ivarkal epronilae Davidkkup piranthavarkal. And the sixth, Ithream, by Eglah David's wife. These were born to David in Hebron.

6 Savulin kudumpaththukkum thaaveethin kudumpaththukkum yuththam nadanthuvarukirapothu apnaer savulin kudumpaththilae palaththavanaanaan. And it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong for the house of Saul.

7 Savulukku aayaavin kumaaraththiyaakiya rispaan ennum paerulla oru maraு manaiyaatti irunthaal; isposeth apnaerai Nnokki: nee en thakappanaarutaiya maraுmanaiyaattiyinidaththil piravaesiththathu enna entan. 10 Karththar Davidkku aannaiyittapatiyae, naan avanukkuch seyyaamarponaal, Dhevan apnaerukku atharkuch sariyaakavum atharku athikamaakavum seyyakkadavar entan. To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beersheba.

11 Appoluthu avan apnaerukkup payappattathinaal, appuram oru maraுmoliyum avanukkuch sollaathirunthaan. And he could not answer Abner a word again, because he feared him.

12 Apnaer than naamaththinaalae thaaveethinidaththirku sthaanaapathikalai anuppi thaesam yaarutaiyathu? Ennodu udanpatikkai pannnum; itho isravaelaiyellaam ummidaththil thiruppa en kaiyellaam ummotirukkum entu sollachchaொnnaan. And Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying also, Make thy league with me, and, behold, my hand shall be with thee, to bring about all Israel unto thee.

13 Atharkuth David: nallathu unnoda naan udanpatikkaipannnuvaen, aanaalum orae kaariyam unnidaththil kaettukkollukiraேn; athu ennavenil, nee en mukaththaip paarkka varumpothu savulin kumaaraththiyaakiya meekaalai nee alaiththuvaravaenndum; atharkumun nee en mukaththaip paarppathillai entu sollachchaொlli, And he said, Well; I will make a league with thee: but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou first bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face.

And David sent messengers to Ishbosheth Saul's son, saying, Deliver me my wife Michal, which I espoused to me for an hundred foreskins of the Philistines.

15 Appoluthu isposeth avalai laayeesin kumaaranaakiya palththiyael ennum purushanidaththilirunthu alaiththu vara aatkalai anuppinaan. And Ishbosheth sent, and took her from her husband, even from Phaltiel the son of Laish.

16 Aval purushan pakoorimmattum aval pirakaalae aluthukonnduvanthaan; apnaer avanai Nnokki: nee thirumpippo entan; avan thirumpip poyvittan. And her husband went with her along weeping behind her to Bahurim. Then said Abner unto him, Go, return. And he returned.

17 Apnaer isravaelin moopparotae paesi: thaaveethai ungalmael raajaavaaka vaikkumpatikku neengal anaekanaalaayth thaetineerkalae. And Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for David in times past to be king over you:

Now then do it: for the LORD hath spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.

19 Inthappirakaaramaaka apnaer penyameen manushar kaathukal kaetkap paesinaan; pinpu apnaer isravaelar paarvaikkum penyameenutaiya ellaak kudumpaththaarin paarvaikkum sammathiyaanathaiyellaam epronilae thaaveethin kaathukal kaetkap paesukiratharkup ponaan. And Abner also spake in the ears of Benjamin: and Abner went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to the whole house of Benjamin.

20 Apnaerum avanotaekooda irupathu; paerum epronilirukkira thaaveethinidaththil vanthapothu, David apnaerukkum, avanotae vantha manusharukkum virunthuseythaan. So Abner came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. And David made Abner and the men that were with him a feast.

And, behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in peace.

23 Yovaapum avanotiruntha ellaach senaiyum vanthapothu, naerin kumaaranaakiya apnaer raajaavinidaththil vanthaan entum, avar avanaich samaathaanamaayppoka anuppivittar entum yovaavukku ariviththaarkal. When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in peace.

24 Appoluthu yovaap raajaavanntaiyil piravaesiththu: enna seytheer? Itho apnaer ummidaththil vanthaanae, neer avanaip pokavittathu enna? Then Joab came to the king, and said, What hast thou done? behold, Abner came unto thee; why is it that thou hast sent him away, and he is quite gone?

25 Naerin kumaaranaakiya apnaerai ariveerae; avan ummai mosampokkavum, ummutaiya pokkuvaraththai ariyavum, neer seykirathaiyellaam aaraayavum vanthaan entu sonnaan. Thou knowest Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive thee, and to know thy going out and thy coming in, and to know all that thou doest.

26 Yovaap thaaveethai vittup purappattavudanae avan apnaeraith Davidkkuth theriyaamal koottikkonndu varumpati aatkalai anuppinaan; avarkal seeraa ennum thuravumattumpoy avanai alaiththukkonndu vanthaarkal. And when Joab was come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, which brought him again from the well of Sirah: but David knew it not.

28 David athaik kaettapothu: naerin kumaaranaakiya apnaerin iraththaththirkaaka enmaelum en raajyaththin maelum karththarukku munpaaka entaikkum paliyillai. And afterward when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before the LORD for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner:

29 Athu yovaaputaiya thalaiyin maelum, avan thakappan kudumpaththin maelum sumanthiruppathaaka; yovaapin veettarilae piramiyakkaaranum, kushdarokiyum, kol oonti nadakkiravanum, pattayaththaal vilukiravanum, appam kuraichchalullavanum orukkaalum olinthupokavathillai entan. Let it rest on the head of Joab, and on all his father's house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth on the sword, or that lacketh bread.

31 David yovaapaiyum avanotiruntha sakala janangalaiyum paarththu: neengal ungal vasthirangalaik kiliththukkonndu, irattuduththi, apnaerukku munnaaka nadanthu thukkangaொnndaadungal entu solli, Davidraajaa thaanum paataikkup pinsentan. And David said to Joab, and to all the people that were with him, Rend your clothes, and gird you with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And king David himself followed the bier.

32 Avarkal apnaerai epronilae adakkampannnukaiyil raajaa apnaerin kallaraiyanntaiyilae saththamittu aluthaan; sakala janangalum aluthaarkal. And they buried Abner in Hebron: and the king lifted up his voice, and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.

33 Raajaa apnaerukkaakap pulampi: mathikettavan saakirathupola apnaer seththupponaano? And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?

34 Un kaikal kattappadavum illai, un kaalkalil vilangu podappattavum illai, thushdar kaiyil matikirathupola matinthaayae entan; appoluthu janangalalellaarum pinnum athikamaay avanukkaaka aluthaarkal. Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, so fellest thou. And all the people wept again over him.

And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.

36 Janangal ellaarum athaik kavaniththaarkal; athu avarkal paarvaikku nantayirunthathu; appatiyae raajaa seythathellaam sakala janangalukkum nalamaayth thontinathu. And all the people took notice of it, and it pleased them: as whatsoever the king did pleased all the people.

37 Naerin kumaaranaakiya apnaeraik kontupottathu raajaavinaal unndaanathallaventu annaalilae sakala janangalum, isravaelar anaivarum arinthukonndaarkal. For all the people and all Israel understood that day that it was not of the king to slay Abner the son of Ner.

38 Raajaa than ooliyakkaararai Nnokki: intaiyathinam isravaelil pirapuvum, periya manushanumaakiya oruvan vilunthaan entu ariyeerkalaa? And the king said unto his servants, Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel?

39 Naan raajaavaaka apishaekampannnappattavanaayirunthapothilum naan innum palaveenan; seruyaavin kumaararaakiya intha manushar en palaththukku minjinavarkalaayirukkiraarkal; anthap pollaappaich seythavanukku Karththar avan pollaappukkuththakkathaaych sarikkattuvaaraaka entan. And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.
