Proverbs 14:14

பின்வாங்கும் இருதயமுள்ளவன் தன் வழிகளிலேயும், நல்ல மனுஷனோ தன்னிலே தானும் திருப்தியடைவான்.

The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Isaiah 12:1

அக்காலத்திலே நீ சொல்வது: கர்த்தாவே, நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; நீர் என்மேல் கோபமாயிருந்தீர்; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய கோபம் நீங்கிற்று; நீர் என்னைத் தேற்றுகிறீர்.

And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

Isaiah 49:13

வானங்களே, கெம்பீரித்துப்பாடுங்கள்; பூமியே, களிகூரு; பர்வதங்களே, கெம்பீரமாய் முழங்குங்கள்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்துக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்தார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டிருக்கிற தம்முடையவர்கள் மேல் இரக்கமாயிருப்பார்.

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

நான், நானே உங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்கிறவர்; சாகப்போகிற மனுஷனுக்கும், புல்லுக்கொப்பாகிற மனுபுத்திரனுக்கும் பயப்படுகிறதற்கும், வானங்களை விரித்து, பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, உன்னை உண்டாக்கின கர்த்தரை மறக்கிறதற்கும் நீ யார்?

I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

Isaiah 54:7

இமைப்பொழுது உன்னைக் கைவிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களால், உன்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வேன்.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

Isaiah 54:8

அற்பகாலம் மூண்ட கோபத்தினால் என் முகத்தை இமைப்பொழுது உனக்கு மறைத்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய உன் மீட்பர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

Isaiah 57:18

அவர்கள் வழிகளை நான் பார்த்து, அவர்களைக் குணமாக்குவேன்; அவர்களை நடத்தி, திரும்பவும் அவர்களுக்கும் அவர்களிலே துக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கும் ஆறுதல் அளிப்பேன்.

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

Isaiah 61:1

கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் என்மேல் இருக்கிறார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்குச் சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவிக்கக் கர்த்தர் என்னை அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்; இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களுக்குக் காயங்கட்டுதலையும், சிறைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையையும், கட்டுண்டவர்களுக்குக் கட்டவிழ்த்தலையும் கூறவும்,

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Isaiah 61:3

சீயோனிலே துயரப்பட்டவர்களைச் சீர்ப்படுத்தவும் அவர்களுக்குச் சாம்பலுக்குப் பதிலாகச் சிங்காரத்தையும், துயரத்துக்குப் பதிலாக ஆனந்த தைலத்தையும், ஒடுங்கின ஆவிக்குப் பதிலாகத் துதியின் உடையையும் கொடுக்கவும், அவர் என்னை அனுப்பினார்; அவர்கள் கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய மகிமைக்கென்று நாட்டின நீதியின் விருட்சங்களென்னப்படுவார்கள்.

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Isaiah 66:11

நீங்கள் அவளுடைய ஆறுதல்களின் முலைப்பாலை உண்டு திருப்தியாகி, நீங்கள் சூப்பிக்குடித்து, அவளுடைய மகிமையின் பிரயாசத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாகுங்கள்;

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

Isaiah 66:13

ஒருவனை அவன் தாய் தேற்றுவதுபோல் நான் உங்களைத் தேற்றுவேன்; நீங்கள் எருசலேமிலே தேற்றப்படுவீர்கள்.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 6:16

வழிகளிலே நின்று, பூர்வ பாதைகள் எவையென்று கேட்டு விசாரித்து, நல்லவழி எங்கே என்று பார்த்து, அதிலே நடவுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் கிடைக்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவர்களோ: நாங்கள் அதிலே நடக்கமாட்டோம் என்கிறார்கள்.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

John 14:18

நான் உங்களைத் திக்கற்றவர்களாக விடேன், உங்களிடத்தில் வருவேன்.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

2 Corinthians 1:3

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் பிதாவாகிய தேவனும், இரக்கங்களின் பிதாவும், சகலவிதமான ஆறுதலின் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

2 Corinthians 1:4

தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்படுகிற ஆறுதலினாலே, எந்த உபத்திரவத்திலாகிலும் அகப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு நாங்கள் ஆறுதல் செய்யத் திராணியுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, எங்களுக்கு வரும் சகல உபத்திரவங்களிலேயும் அவரே எங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல்செய்கிறவர்.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

2 Corinthians 7:6

ஆகிலும், சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்கிற தேவன் தீத்து வந்ததினாலே எங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல்செய்தார்.

Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

2 Thessalonians 2:16

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவும், நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து நித்திய ஆறுதலையும் நல்நம்பிக்கையையும் கிருபையாய் நமக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிற நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனும்,

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

2 Thessalonians 2:17

உங்கள் இருதயங்களைத் தேற்றி, எல்லா நல்வசனத்திலும் நற்கிரியையிலும் உங்களை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவாராக.

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
