Psalm 25 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தாவே, உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன். Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2 என் தேவனே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; என் சத்துருக்கள் என்னை மேற்கொண்டு மகிழவிடாதேயும். O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 உம்மை நோக்கிக் காத்திருக்கிற ஒருவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடி செய்யும்; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போவார்களாக. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

4 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வழிகளை எனக்குத் தெரிவியும்; உம்முடைய பாதைகளை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும். Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

5 உம்முடைய சத்தியத்திலே என்னை நடத்தி, என்னைப் போதித்தருளும்; நீரே என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவன், உம்மை நோக்கி நாள் முழுதும் காத்திருக்கிறேன். Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

6 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்களையும் உம்முடைய காருணியங்களையும் நினைத்தருளும், அவைகள் அநாதிகாலமுதல் இருக்கிறதே. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

7 என் இளவயதின் பாவங்களையும் என் மீறுதல்களையும் நினையாதிரும்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய தயவினிமித்தம் என்னை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நினைத்தருளும். Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

8 கர்த்தர் நல்லவரும் உத்தமருமாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் பாவிகளுக்கு வழியைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார். Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

9 சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை நியாயத்திலே நடத்தி, சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தமது வழியைப் போதிக்கிறார். The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

10 கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவருடைய சாட்சிகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு, அவருடைய பாதைகளெல்லாம் கிருபையும் சத்தியமுமானவைகள். All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 கர்த்தாவே, என் அக்கிரமம் பெரிது; உம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் அதை மன்னித்தருளும். For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

12 கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற மனுஷன் எவனோ அவனுக்குத் தாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் வழியைப் போதிப்பார். What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

13 அவன் ஆத்துமா நன்மையில் தங்கும்; அவன் சந்ததி பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும். His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

14 கர்த்தருடைய இரகசியம் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவர்களுக்குத் தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையைத் தெரியப்படுத்துவார். The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

15 என் கண்கள் எப்போதும் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது; அவரே என் கால்களை வலைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுவார். Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

16 என்மேல் நோக்கமாகி, எனக்கு இரங்கும்; நான் தனித்தவனும் சிறுமைப்படுகிறவனுமாயிருக்கிறேன். Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

17 என் இருதயத்தின் வியாகுலங்கள் பெருகியிருக்கிறது; என் இடுக்கண்களுக்கு என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும். The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

18 என் துன்பத்தையும் என் வருத்தத்தையும் பார்த்து, என் பாவங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்தருளும். Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

19 என் சத்துருக்களைப் பாரும்; அவர்கள் பெருகியிருந்து, உக்கிரபகையாய் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறார்கள். Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 என் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பாற்றி என்னை விடுவியும்; நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதபடி செய்யும்; உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன். O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.

21 உத்தமமும் நேர்மையும் என்னைக்காக்கக்கடவது; நான் உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன். Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

22 தேவனே, இஸ்ரவேலை அவனுடைய எல்லா இக்கட்டுகளுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுவிடும். Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

1 Karththaavae, ummidaththil en aaththumaavai uyarththukiraேn. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2 En thaevanae, ummai nampiyirukkiraேn, naan vetkappattuppokaathapati seyyum; en saththurukkal ennai maerkonndu makilavidaathaeyum. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 Ummai Nnokkik kaaththirukkira oruvarum vetkappattup pokaathapati seyyum; mukaantharamillaamal thurokampannnukiravarkal vetkappattup povaarkalaaka. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

4 Karththaavae, ummutaiya valikalai enakkuth theriviyum; ummutaiya paathaikalai enakkup pothiththarulum. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

5 Ummutaiya saththiyaththilae ennai nadaththi, ennaip pothiththarulum; neerae en iratchippin Dhevan, ummai Nnokki naal muluthum kaaththirukkiraேn. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

6 Karththaavae, ummutaiya irakkangalaiyum ummutaiya kaarunniyangalaiyum ninaiththarulum, avaikal anaathikaalamuthal irukkirathae. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

7 En ilavayathin paavangalaiyum en meeraுthalkalaiyum ninaiyaathirum; karththaavae, ummutaiya thayavinimiththam ennai umathu kirupaiyinpatiyae ninaiththarulum. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

8 Karththar nallavarum uththamarumaayirukkiraar; aakaiyaal paavikalukku valiyaith therivikkiraar. Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

9 Saanthakunamullavarkalai niyaayaththilae nadaththi, saanthakunamullavarkalukkuth thamathu valiyaip pothikkiraar. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

10 Karththarutaiya udanpatikkaiyaiyum avarutaiya saatchikalaiyum kaikkollukiravarkalukku, avarutaiya paathaikalellaam kirupaiyum saththiyamumaanavaikal. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 Karththaavae, en akkiramam perithu; ummutaiya naamaththinimiththam athai manniththarulum. For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

12 Karththarukkup payappadukira manushan evano avanukkuth thaam therinthukollum valiyaip pothippaar. What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

13 Avan aaththumaa nanmaiyil thangum; avan santhathi poomiyaich suthanthariththukkollum. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

14 Karththarutaiya irakasiyam avarukkup payanthavarkalidaththil irukkirathu; avarkalukkuth thammutaiya udanpatikkaiyaith theriyappaduththuvaar. The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

15 En kannkal eppothum karththarai Nnokkik konntirukkirathu; avarae en kaalkalai valaikku neengalaakkividuvaar. Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Enmael Nnokkamaaki, enakku irangum; naan thaniththavanum siraுmaippadukiravanumaayirukkiraேn. Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

17 En iruthayaththin viyaakulangal perukiyirukkirathu; en idukkannkalukku ennai neengalaakkividum. The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

18 En thunpaththaiyum en varuththaththaiyum paarththu, en paavangalaiyellaam manniththarulum. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

19 En saththurukkalaip paarum; avarkal perukiyirunthu, ukkirapakaiyaay ennaip pakaikkiraarkal. Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 En aaththumaavaik kaappaatti ennai viduviyum; naan vetkappattuppokaathapati seyyum; ummai nampiyirukkiraேn. O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.

21 Uththamamum naermaiyum ennaikkaakkakkadavathu; naan umakkuk kaaththirukkiraேn. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

22 Thaevanae, isravaelai avanutaiya ellaa ikkattukalukkum neengalaakki meettuvidum. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
