Isaiah 29 in Tamil

1 தாவீது வாசம்பண்ணின நகரமாகிய அரியேலே, அரியேலே, ஐயோ! வருஷாவருஷம் பண்டிகைகளை அனுசரித்துவந்தாலும், Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.

2 அரியேலுக்கு இடுக்கம் உண்டாக்குவேன்; அப்பொழுது துக்கமும் சலிப்பும் உண்டாகும்; அது எனக்கு அரியேலாகத்தான் இருக்கும். Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.

3 உன்னைப் சூழப் பாளயமிறங்கி உன்னைத் தெற்றுகளால் முற்றிக்கைபோட்டு, உனக்கு விரோதமாக கொத்தளங்களை எடுப்பிப்பேன். And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.

4 அப்பொழுது நீ தாழ்த்தப்பட்டுத் தரையிலிருந்து பேசுவாய்; உன் பேச்சுப் பணிந்ததாய் மண்ணிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, உன் சத்தம் அஞ்சனம் பார்க்கிறவனுடைய சத்தத்தைப்போல தரையிலிருந்து முணுமுணுத்து, உன் வாக்கு மண்ணிலிருந்து கசுகு சென்று உரைக்கும். And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.

5 உன்மேல் வருகிற அந்நியரின் திரள் பொடித்தூளத்தனையாகவும், பலவந்தரின் திரள் பறக்கும் பதர் களத்தனையாகவும் இருக்கும்; அது திடீரென்று சடிதியாய்ச் சம்பவிக்கும். Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

6 இடிகளினாலும், பூமி அதிர்ச்சியினாலும், பெரிய இரைச்சலினாலும், பெருங்காற்றினாலும், புசலினாலும், பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினிஜுவாலையினாலும், சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராலே விசாரிக்கப்படுவாய். Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

7 அரியேலின்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிற திரளான சகல ஜாதிகளும், அதின்மேலும் அதின் அரண்மேலும் யுத்தம்பண்ணி, அதற்கு இடுக்கண் செய்கிற அனைவரும் இராக்காலத்தரிசனமாகிய சொப்பனத்தைக் காண்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருப்பார்கள். And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

8 அது, பசியாயிருக்கிறவன் தான் புசிக்கிறதாகச் சொப்பனம் கண்டும், விழிக்கும்போது அவன் வெறுமையாயிருக்கிறதுபோலவும், தாகமாயிருக்கிறவன், தான் குடிக்கிறதாகச் சொப்பனம் கண்டும், விழிக்கும்போது அவன் விடாய்த்து தவனத்தோடிருக்கிறதுபோலவும் சீயோன் மலைக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிற திரளான சகல ஜாதிகளும் இருக்கும். It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

9 தரித்துநின்று திகையுங்கள்; பிரமித்துக் கூப்பிடுங்கள்; வெறுத்திருக்கிறார்கள், திராட்சரசத்தினால் அல்ல; தள்ளாடுகிறார்கள் மதுபானத்தினால் அல்ல. Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10 கர்த்தர் உங்கள்மேல் கனநித்திரையின் ஆவியை வரப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் கண்களை அடைத்து, ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரராகிய உங்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கும் தலைவர்களுக்கும் முக்காடுபோட்டார். For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

11 ஆதலால் தரிசனமெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு முத்திரிக்கப்பட்ட புஸ்தகத்தின் வசனங்களைப்போலிருக்கும்; வாசிக்க அறிந்திருக்கிற ஒருவனுக்கு அதைக் கொடுத்து: நீ இதை வாசி என்றால், அவன் இது என்னால் கூடாது, இது முத்திரித்திருக்கிறது என்பான், And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

12 அல்லது வாசிக்கத் தெரியாதவனிடத்தில் புஸ்தகத்தைக் கொடுத்து: நீ இதை வாசி என்றால், அவன் எனக்கு வாசிக்கத் தெரியாது என்பான் And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

13 இந்த ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் வாயினால் என்னிடத்தில் சேர்ந்து, தங்கள் உதடுகளினால் என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயமோ எனக்குத் தூரமாய் விலகியிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் எனக்குப் பயப்படுகிற பயம் மனுஷராலே போதிக்கப்பட்ட கற்பனையாயிருக்கிறது. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

14 ஆதலால் இதோ, நான் அற்புதமும் ஆச்சரியமுமான பிரகாரமாக இந்த ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு அதிசயத்தைச் செய்வேன்; அவர்களுடைய ஞானிகளின் ஞானம் கெட்டு, அவர்களுடைய விவேகிகளின் விவேகம் மறந்துபோகும் என்று ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

15 தங்கள் ஆலோசனையைக் கர்த்தருக்கு மறைக்கும்படிக்கு மறைவிடங்களில் ஒளித்து, தங்கள் கிரியைகளை அந்தகாரத்தில் நடப்பித்து: நம்மைக் காண்கிறவர் யார்? நம்மை அறிகிறவர் யார் என்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ! Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

16 ஆ, நீங்கள் எவ்வளவு மாறுபாடுள்ளவர்கள்! குயவன் களிமண்ணுக்குச் சமானமாக எண்ணப்படலாமோ? உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது தன்னை உண்டாக்கினவரைக்குறித்து: அவர் என்னை உண்டாக்கினதில்லை என்றும்; உருவாக்கப்பட்டது தன்னை உருவாக்கினவரைக்குறித்து: அவருக்குப் புத்தியில்லை என்றும் சொல்லத்தகுமோ? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

17 இன்னும் கொஞ்சக் காலத்திலல்லவோ லீபனோன் செழிப்பான வயல்வெளியாக மாறும்; செழிப்பான வயல்வெளி காடாக எண்ணப்படும். Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?

18 அக்காலத்திலே செவிடர் புஸ்தகத்தின் வசனங்களைக் கேட்பார்கள்; குருடரின் கண்கள் இருளுக்கும் அந்தகாரத்துக்கும் நீங்கலாகிப் பார்வையடையும். And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.

19 சிறுமையானவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குள் மிகவும் மகிழ்ந்து, மனுஷரில் எளிமையானவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தருக்குள் களிகூருவார்கள். The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

20 கொடியன் அற்றுப்போவான், சக்கந்தக்காரன் இல்லாமற்போவான். For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

21 ஒரு வார்த்தையினிமித்தம் மனுஷனைக் குற்றப்படுத்தி, நியாயவாசலில் தங்களைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளுகிறவனுக்குக் கண்ணிவைத்து, நீதிமானை நிர்நிமித்தமாய்த் துரத்தி, இப்படி அக்கிரமஞ்செய்ய வகைதேடுகிற யாவரும் சங்கரிக்கப்படுவார்கள். That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

22 ஆகையால், ஆபிரகாமை மீட்டுக்கொண்ட கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபின் வம்சத்தைக் குறித்து: இனி யாக்கோபு வெட்கப்படுவதில்லை; இனி அவன் முகம் செத்துப்போவதுமில்லை. Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

23 அவன் என் கரங்களின் செயலாகிய தன் பிள்ளைகளை தன் நடுவிலே காணும்போது, என் நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவார்கள்; யாக்கோபின் பரிசுத்தரை அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தி, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுவார்கள். But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

24 வழுவிப்போகிற மனதை உடையவர்கள் புத்திமான்களாகி, முறுமுறுக்கிறவர்கள் உபதேசம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுவார்கள். They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

1 David vaasampannnnina nakaramaakiya ariyaelae, ariyaelae, aiyo! Varushaavarusham panntikaikalai anusariththuvanthaalum, Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.

2 Ariyaelukku idukkam unndaakkuvaen; appoluthu thukkamum salippum unndaakum; athu enakku ariyaelaakaththaan irukkum. Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.

3 Unnaip soolap paalayamirangi unnaith thettaுkalaal muttikkaipottu, unakku virothamaaka koththalangalai eduppippaen. And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.

4 Appoluthu nee thaalththappattuth tharaiyilirunthu paesuvaay; un paechchup panninthathaay mannnnilirunthu purappattu, un saththam anjanam paarkkiravanutaiya saththaththaippola tharaiyilirunthu munumunuththu, un vaakku mannnnilirunthu kasuku sentu uraikkum. 5 Unmael varukira anniyarin thiral potiththoolaththanaiyaakavum, palavantharin thiral parakkum pathar kalaththanaiyaakavum irukkum; athu thiteerentu satithiyaaych sampavikkum. Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

6 Itikalinaalum, poomi athirchchiyinaalum, periya iraichchalinaalum, perungaattinaalum, pusalinaalum, patchikkira akkinijuvaalaiyinaalum, senaikalin karththaraalae visaarikkappaduvaay. Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

7 Ariyaelinmael yuththampannnukira thiralaana sakala jaathikalum, athinmaelum athin arannmaelum yuththampannnni, atharku idukkann seykira anaivarum iraakkaalaththarisanamaakiya soppanaththaik kaannkiravarkalukku oppaayiruppaarkal. And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

8 Athu, pasiyaayirukkiravan thaan pusikkirathaakach soppanam kanndum, vilikkumpothu avan veraுmaiyaayirukkirathupolavum, thaakamaayirukkiravan, thaan kutikkirathaakach soppanam kanndum, vilikkumpothu avan vidaayththu thavanaththotirukkirathupolavum seeyon malaikku virothamaaka yuththampannnukira thiralaana sakala jaathikalum irukkum. It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

9 Thariththunintu thikaiyungal; piramiththuk kooppidungal; veraுththirukkiraarkal, thiraatcharasaththinaal alla; thallaadukiraarkal mathupaanaththinaal alla. Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10 Karththar ungalmael kananiththiraiyin aaviyai varappannnni, ungal kannkalai ataiththu, njaanathirushtikkaararaakiya ungal theerkkatharisikalukkum thalaivarkalukkum mukkaadupottar. 11 Aathalaal tharisanamellaam ungalukku muththirikkappatta pusthakaththin vasanangalaippolirukkum; vaasikka arinthirukkira oruvanukku athaik koduththu: nee ithai vaasi ental, avan ithu ennaal koodaathu, ithu muththiriththirukkirathu enpaan, And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

12 Allathu vaasikkath theriyaathavanidaththil pusthakaththaik koduththu: nee ithai vaasi ental, avan enakku vaasikkath theriyaathu enpaan And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

13 Intha janangal thangal vaayinaal ennidaththil sernthu, thangal uthadukalinaal ennaik kanampannnukiraarkal; avarkal iruthayamo enakkuth thooramaay vilakiyirukkirathu; avarkal enakkup payappadukira payam manusharaalae pothikkappatta karpanaiyaayirukkirathu. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

14 Aathalaal itho, naan arputhamum aachchariyamumaana pirakaaramaaka intha janangalukkullae oru athisayaththaich seyvaen; avarkalutaiya njaanikalin njaanam kettu, avarkalutaiya vivaekikalin vivaekam maranthupokum entu aanndavar sollukiraar. Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

15 Thangal aalosanaiyaik karththarukku maraikkumpatikku maraividangalil oliththu, thangal kiriyaikalai anthakaaraththil nadappiththu: nammaik kaannkiravar yaar? Nammai arikiravar yaar enkiravarkalukku aiyo! Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

16 Aa, neengal evvalavu maaraுpaadullavarkal! Kuyavan kalimannnukkuch samaanamaaka ennnappadalaamo? Unndaakkappattathu thannai unndaakkinavaraikkuriththu: avar ennai unndaakkinathillai entum; uruvaakkappattathu thannai uruvaakkinavaraikkuriththu: avarukkup puththiyillai entum sollaththakumo? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

17 Innum konjak kaalaththilallavo leepanon selippaana vayalveliyaaka maaraுm; selippaana vayalveli kaadaaka ennnappadum. Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?

18 Akkaalaththilae sevidar pusthakaththin vasanangalaik kaetpaarkal; kurudarin kannkal irulukkum anthakaaraththukkum neengalaakip paarvaiyataiyum. And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.

19 Siraுmaiyaanavarkal karththarukkul mikavum makilnthu, manusharil elimaiyaanavarkal isravaelin Parisuththarukkul kalikooruvaarkal. The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

20 Kotiyan attaுppovaan, sakkanthakkaaran illaamarpovaan. For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

21 Oru vaarththaiyinimiththam manushanaik kuttappaduththi, niyaayavaasalil thangalaik katinthukollukiravanukkuk kannnnivaiththu, neethimaanai nirnimiththamaayth thuraththi, ippati akkiramanjaெyya vakaithaedukira yaavarum sangarikkappaduvaarkal. That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

22 Aakaiyaal, aapirakaamai meettukkonnda Karththar yaakkopin vamsaththaik kuriththu: ini yaakkopu vetkappaduvathillai; ini avan mukam seththuppovathumillai. Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

23 Avan en karangalin seyalaakiya than pillaikalai than naduvilae kaanumpothu, en naamaththaip Parisuththappaduththuvaarkal; yaakkopin Parisuththarai avarkal Parisuththappaduththi, isravaelin thaevanukkup payappaduvaarkal. But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

24 Valuvippokira manathai utaiyavarkal puththimaankalaaki, muraுmuraுkkiravarkal upathaesam kattaுkkolluvaarkal. They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
