ஏசாயா 25:11
நீந்துகிறவன் நீந்துவதற்காகத் தன் கைகளை விரிப்பதுபோல, அவர் தமது கைகளை அவர்கள் நடுவிலே விரித்து, அவர்கள் பெருமையையும், அவர்கள் கைகளின் சதிசர்ப்பனைகளையும் தாழ்த்திவிடுவார்.

கர்த்தர் தமது கரங்களை நீச்சலடிக்கும் ஒருவரைப்போல் விரிப்பார். பிறகு கர்த்தர் அவர்களது பெருமைக்குரிய அனைத்தையும் சேகரிப்பார். கர்த்தர் அவர்களால் செய்யப்பட்ட அழகான அனைத்தையும் சேகரிப்பார். அவர் அவற்றைத் தூர எறிந்துப் போடுவார்.

his hands יָדָיו֙ yād yahd
in the midst בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ qereb keh-REV
of them, as כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
spreadeth forth יְפָרֵ֥שׂ pāraś pa-RAHS
he that swimmeth הַשֹּׂחֶ֖ה śāḥâ sa-HA
to swim: לִשְׂח֑וֹת śāḥâ sa-HA
and he shall bring down וְהִשְׁפִּיל֙ šāpēl sha-FALE
their pride גַּֽאֲוָת֔וֹ gaʾăwâ ɡa-uh-VA
