ஆகையால் கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் தமது ஜனங்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் மூண்டது; அவர் தமது கையை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் நீட்டி பர்வதங்கள் அதிரத்தக்கதாயும், அவர்கள் பிணங்கள் நடுவீதிகளில் குப்பைபோலாகத்தக்கதாயும், அவர்களை அடித்தார்; இவை எல்லாவற்றிலும் அவருடைய கோபம் ஆறாமல், இன்னும் அவருடைய கை நீட்டினபடியே இருக்கிறது.

எனவே இந்த ஜனங்கள் மீது கர்த்தர் மிகுந்த கோபமாயிருக்கிறார். கர்த்தர் தன் கையை உயர்த்தி அவர்களைத் தண்டிப்பார். மலைகள் கூட அவருக்குப் பயப்படும். மரித்துப்போன உடல்கள் தெருக்களில் குப்பைபோன்று குவியும். ஆனாலும் தேவன் மேலும் கோபமாக இருப்பார். அவரது கை மேலும் உயர்ந்து அவர்களைத் தண்டிக்கும்.
