Ezekiel 16 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ எருசலேமின் அருவருப்புகளை அதற்கு அறிவித்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

3 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் எருசலேமுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறார், கானான் தேசமே உன் உற்பத்திக்கும் உன் பிறப்புக்கும் இடம், உன் தகப்பன் எமோரியன், உன் தாய் ஏத்தித்தி. And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.

4 உன் பிறப்பின் வர்த்தமானம் என்னவென்றால், நீ பிறந்த நாளிலே உன் தொப்புள் அறுக்கப்படவுமில்லை; நீ சுத்தமாவதற்குத் தண்ணீரினால் குளிப்பாட்டப்படவுமில்லை; துணிகளில் சுற்றப்படவுமில்லை. And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

5 உனக்காகப் பரிதபித்து, இவைகளில் ஒன்றையாகிலும் உனக்குச் செய்ய ஒரு கண்ணும் உன்பேரில் இரக்கமாயிருந்ததுமில்லை; நீ பிறந்தநாளில் நீ அருவருக்கப்பட்டதினால் வெளியில் எறிந்துவிடப்பட்டாய். None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.

6 நான் உன் அருகே கடந்துபோகும் போது, மிதிக்கப்படுவதற்கு ஏதுவாய் நீ உன் இரத்தத்தில் கிடக்கிறதைக் கண்டு, உன் இரத்தத்தில் கிடக்கிற உன்னைப்பார்த்து: பிழைத்திரு என்று சொன்னேன். And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.

7 உன்னை வயலின் பயிரைபோல அநேகமாயிரமாய்ப் பெருகும்படி வைத்தேன்; நீ வளர்ந்து பெரியவளாகி, மகா செளந்தரியவதியானாய்; உன் ஸ்தனங்கள் எழும்பின, உன் மயிர் வளர்ந்தது; ஆனாலும், நீ நிர்வாணமும் அம்மணமுமாயிருந்தாய். I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.

8 நான் உன் அருகே கடந்துபோன போது, உன்னைப் பார்த்தேன்; இதோ, உன் காலம் பருவகாலமாயிருந்தது; அப்பொழுது என் வஸ்திரத்தை உன்மேல் விரித்து, உன் நிர்வாணத்தை மூடி, உனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்து, உன்னோடு உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணினேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இவ்விதமாய் நீ என்னுடையவளானாய். Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

9 நான் உன்னை ஜலத்தினால் முழுக்காட்டி, உன்னை இரத்தமற ஸ்நானம் பண்ணுவித்து, உனக்கு எண்ணெய் பூசி, Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

10 சித்திரத்தையலாடையை உனக்கு உடுத்தி, சாயந்தீர்ந்த பாதரட்சைகளை உனக்குத் தரித்து, கட்ட மெல்லிய புடவையையும், மூடிக்கொள்ளப் பட்டுச் சால்வையையும் உனக்குக் கொடுத்து, I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.

11 உன்னை ஆபரணங்களால் அலங்கரித்து, உன் கைகளிலே கடகங்களையும், உன் கழுத்திலே சரப்பணியையும் போட்டு, I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

12 உன் நெற்றியில் நெற்றிப்பட்டத்தையும், உன் காதுகளில் காதணியையும், உன் தலையின்மேல் சிங்காரமான கிரீடத்தையும் தரித்தேன்.. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

13 இவ்விதமாய்ப் பொன்னினாலும் வெள்ளியினாலும் நீ அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டாய்; உன் உடுப்பு மெல்லிய புடவையும் பட்டும் சித்திரத்தையலாடையுமாயிРρந்தது; மெல்லிய மޠεையும் தேனையும் நெய்யையும் சாப்பிட்டாய்; நீ மிகவும் அழகுள்ளவளாகி, ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிக்கும் சிலாக்கியத்தையும் பெற்றாய். Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.

14 உன் அழகினாலே உன் கீர்த்தி புற ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தமாயிற்று; நான் உன்மேல் வைத்த என் மகிமையினாலே அது குறைவற்றதாய் இருந்ததென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

15 நீயோவென்றால் உன் அழகை நம்பி, உன் கீர்த்தியினால் சோரமார்க்கமாய் நடந்து, வழிப்போக்கரில் உனக்கு நேர்பட்ட யாவரோடும் வேசித்தனம்பண்ணி, But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.

16 உன் வஸ்திரங்களில் சிலவற்றை எடுத்து, பலவருணச் ஜோடிப்பான மேடைகளை உனக்கு உண்டாக்கி, அவைகளின்மேல் வேசித்தனம்பண்ணினாய்; அப்படிக்கொத்த காரியங்கள் ஒருக்காலும் சம்பவித்ததுமில்லை, சம்பவிப்பதுமில்லை. And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

17 நான் உனக்குக் கொடுத்த என் பொன்னும் என் வெள்ளியுமான உன் சிங்கார ஆபரணங்களை நீ எடுத்து, உனக்கு ஆண்சுரூபங்களை உண்டாக்கி, அவைகளோடே வேசித்தனம்பண்ணி, Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,

18 உன் சித்திரத்தையலாடைகளை எடுத்து, அவைகளை மூடி, என் எண்ணெயையும் என் தூபவர்க்கத்தையும் அவைகளின்முன் படைத்து, And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them.

19 நான் உனக்குக் கொடுத்த என் அப்பத்தையும், நீ சாப்பிடும்படி உனக்குக் கொடுத்த மெல்லிய மாவையும் நெய்யையும் தேனையும் நீ அவைகளின்முன் சுகந்தவாசனையாகப் படைத்தாய்; காரியம் இப்படி ஆயிற்றென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.

20 நீ எனக்குப் பெற்ற உன் குமாரரையும் உன் குமாரத்திகளையும் எடுத்து, அவர்களை அவைகளுக்கு இரையாகப் பலியிட்டாய். Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,

21 நீ செய்த வேசித்தனங்கள் போதாதென்று, நீ என் பிள்ளைகளை அவைகளுக்குத் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ண ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, அவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்தாய். That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?

22 நீ உன் எல்லா அருவருப்புகளிலும் வேசித்தனங்களிலும் நடக்கும்போது, நிர்வாணமும் அம்மணமுமாயிருந்ததும், உன் இரத்தத்திலே மிதிக்கப்பட ஏதுவாய்க்கிடந்ததுமான உன் சிறுவயதின் நாட்களை நினையாமற்போனாய். And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.

23 ஐயோ! உனக்கு ஐயோ! என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நீ செய்த பொல்லாப்புக்களெல்லாம் தவிர, And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the LORD GOD;)

24 நீ உனக்கு மண்டபங்களைக் கட்டி, உனக்குச் சகல வீதிகளிலும் உயர்ந்த மேடைகளை உண்டுபண்ணினாய். That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street.

25 நீ சகல வழிமுகனையிலும் உன் உயர்ந்த மேடைகளைக் கட்டி, உன் அழகை அருவருப்பாக்கி, வழிப்போக்கர் யாவருக்கும் உன் கால்களை விரித்து, உன் வேசித்தனங்களைத் திரளாய்ப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.

26 சதை பெருத்த உன் அயல் தேசத்தாராகிய எகிப்திய புத்திரரோடே வேசித்தனம்பண்ணி, எனக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்கும்படி உன் வேசித்தனங்களைப் பெருகப்பண்ணினாய். Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.

27 ஆதலால், இதோ, நான் என் கையை உனக்கு விரோதமாக நீட்டி, உனக்கு நியமித்த போஜனத்தைக் குறுக்கி, உன் முறைகேடான மார்க்கத்தைக் குறித்து வெட்கப்பட்ட உன் பகையாளிகளாகிய பெலிஸ்தருடைய குமாரத்திகளின் இச்சைக்கு உன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன். Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

28 நீ திருப்தியடையாததினால் அசீரிய புத்திரரோடும் வேசித்தனம்பண்ணினாய்; அவர்களோடே வேசித்தனம்பண்ணியும் நீ திருப்தியடையவில்லை. Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.

29 நீ கானான் தேசத்திலே செய்த வேசித்தனத்தை கல்தேயர்மட்டும் எட்டச் செய்தாய்; அதினாலும் நீ திருப்தியடையாமற்போனாய். Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied therewith.

30 வெட்கங்கெட்ட வேசியின் கிரியைகளாகிய இவைகளையெல்லாம் நீ செய்து, How weak is thine heart, saith the LORD GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;

31 சகல வழிமுகனையிலும் உன் மண்டபங்களைக் கட்டி, சகல வீதிகளிலும் உன் மேடைகளை உண்டாக்கினபடியால், உன் இருதயம் எவ்வளவாய்க் களைத்துப்போயிருக்கிறது என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நீ பணையத்தை அலட்சியம்பண்ணுகிறதினால், நீ வேசியைப்போல இராமல், In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

32 தன் புருஷனுக்குப் பதிலாக அந்நியரைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிற விபசார ஸ்திரீயைப்போல இருக்கிறாய். But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!

33 எல்லா வேசிகளுக்கும் பணையங்கொடுக்கிறார்கள்; நீயோ உன் நேசர்கள் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலிருந்து உன்னிடத்தில் வேசித்தனஞ்செய்ய வரும்படி அவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் நீயே பணையங்கொடுத்து, அவர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகளைத் தருகிறாய். They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.

34 இவ்விதமாய் உன் வேசித்தனங்களுக்கும் வேறே ஸ்திரீகளின் வேசித்தனங்களுக்கும் வித்தியாசமுண்டு; வேசித்தனம்பண்ண அவர்கள் உன்னை பின் செல்லமாட்டார்கள்; பணையம் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறபடியால் நீ செய்வது விபரீதம். And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.

35 ஆகையால், வேசியே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேள். Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

36 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: உன் வேசித்தனத்தின் அசுத்தம் பாய்ந்தபடியினாலும், நீ உன் காமவிகாரிகளோடும் அருவருப்பாகிய உன் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களோடும் வேசித்தனம்பண்ணி, இவைகளுக்கு உன் பிள்ளைகளின் இரத்தத்தைப் படைத்ததினால் உன் நிர்வாணம் திறக்கப்பட்டபடியினாலும், Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;

37 இதோ, நீ சம்போகம்பண்ணின உன் எல்லாக் காமவிகாரிகளையும், நீ நேசித்த யாவரையும், நீ பகைத்திருக்கிற அனைவரோடும் நான் கூடிவரச்செய்து, சுற்றிலுமிருந்து அவர்களை உனக்கு விரோதமாகச் சேர்த்து, அவர்கள் உன் நிர்வானத்தையெல்லாம் காணும்படி உன் நிர்வாணத்தை அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் திறந்துவைத்து, Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

38 விபசாரிகளையும் இரத்தஞ்சிந்தினவர்களையும் நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறபடியே உன்னை நியாயந்தீர்த்து, உக்கிரகத்தோடும் எரிச்சலோடும் இரத்தப்பழியை உன்பேரில் சுமத்தி, And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

39 உன்னை அவர்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்கள் உன் மண்டபங்களை இடித்து, உன் மேடைகளைத் தரையாக்கிப்போட்டு, உன் வஸ்திரங்களை உரிந்து, உன் சிங்கார ஆபரணங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன்னை அம்மணமும் நிர்வாணமுமாக விட்டுப்போய், And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.

40 உனக்கு விரோதமாக ஒரு கூட்டத்தைக் கொண்டுவந்து, உன்னைக் கல்லெறிந்து, உன்னைத் தங்கள் பட்டயங்களால் குத்திபோட்டு, They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.

41 உன் வீடுகளை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்து, அநேக ஸ்திரீகளின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக உன்னில் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளைச் செய்வார்கள்; உன் வேசித்தனத்தை ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; நீ இனிப் பணையங்கொடுப்பதில்லை. And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

42 இவ்விதமாய் என் எரிச்சல் உன்னை விட்டு நீங்கும்படி நான் என் உக்கிரத்தை உன்னில் ஆறப்பண்ணி, இனி கோபமாயிராமல் அமருவேன். So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

43 நீ உன் இளவயதின் நாட்களை நினையாமல், இவைகளெல்லாவற்றினாலும் எனக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்கினபடியினால், இதோ, நான் உன் வழியின் பலனை உன் தலையின்மேல் சுமரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அதினாலே இனி உன் எல்லா அருவருப்புகளினாலும் இப்படிப்பட்ட முறைகேடான காரியத்தைச் செய்யமாட்டாய்.. Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.

44 இதோ, பழமொழி சொல்லுகிறவர்கள் எல்லாரும்: தாயைப்போல மகள் என்று உன்னைக்குறித்து பழமொழி சொல்லுவார்கள். Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45 நீ, தன் புருஷனையும் தன் பிள்ளைகளையும் அருவருத்த உன் தாயின் மகள்; நீ, தங்கள் புருஷரையும் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளையும் அருவருத்த உன் சகோதரிகளின் சகோதரி; உங்கள் தாய் ஏத்தித்தி; உங்கள் தகப்பன் எமோரியன். Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

46 உன் இடதுபுறத்திலே, தானும் தன் குமாரத்திகளுமாய்க் குடியிருந்த சமாரியா உன் தமக்கை; உன் வலதுபுறத்திலே, தானும் தன் குமாரத்திகளுமாய்க் குடியிருந்த சோதோம் உன் தங்கை. And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

47 ஆகிலும் நீ அவர்களுடைய மார்க்கங்களிலே நடவாமலும், அவர்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளின்படி செய்யாமலும், அது மகா அற்பகாரியம் என்கிறதுபோல நீ உன் எல்லா வழிகளிலேயும் அவர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் கேடாய் நடந்தாய். Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

48 நீயும் உன் குமாரத்திகளும் செய்தது போல, உன் சகோதரியாகிய சோதோமும் அவளுடைய குமாரத்திகளும் செய்யவில்லை என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார். As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

49 இதோ, கெர்வமும், ஆகாரத் திரட்சியும், நிர்விசாரமான சாங்கோபாங்கமுமாகிய இவைகளே உன் சகோதரியான சோதோமின் அக்கிரமம்; இவைகளே அவளிடத்திலும் அவள் குமாரத்திகளிடத்திலும் இருந்தன; சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனுடைய கையை அவள் பலப்படுத்தவில்லை. Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 அவர்கள் தங்களை உயர்த்தி, என் முகத்துக்கு முன்பாக அருவருப்பானதைச் செய்தார்கள்; அதை நான் கண்டபோது, அவர்களை ஒழித்துவிட்டேன். And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

51 நீ செய்த பாவங்களில் அரைவாசியும் சமாரியா செய்யவில்லை; நீ உன் சகோதரிகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் உன்பாவங்களைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, நீ செய்த உன் எல்லா அருவருப்புகளிலும் அவர்களை நீதியுள்ளவர்களென்று விளங்கப்பண்ணினாய். Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

52 இப்போதும் உன் சகோதரிகளைக் குற்றவாளிகள் என்று தீர்த்த நீ அவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் அருவருப்பாகச் செய்த உன் பாவங்களினிமித்தம் உன் இலச்சையைச் சுமந்துகொள்; உன்னைப் பார்க்கிலும் அவர்கள் நீதியுள்ளவர்கள்; உன் சகோதரிகளை நீதியுள்ளவர்களென்று விளங்கப்பண்ணின நீ வெட்கமடைந்து, உன் இலச்சையைச் சுமந்துகொள். Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.

53 நான் சோதோமும் அவள் குமாரத்திகளும் சிறையிருப்பையும், சமாரியாவும் அவள் குமாரத்திகளும் சிறையிருக்கிற சிறையிருப்பையும் திருப்பும்போது, அவர்கள் நடுவில் நீ சிறையிருக்கிற உன்னுடைய சிறையிருப்பையும் திருப்புவேன். When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:

54 அதினால் நீ அவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதலாக இருந்து, உன் இலச்சையைச் சுமந்து; நீ செய்த எல்லாவற்றினாலும் வெட்கமடைவாய். That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.

56 உன்னை வெறுக்கும் சீரியாவின் குமாரத்திகளும், அவளைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற பெலிஸ்தரின் குமாரத்திகளும் அவமானம் பண்ணினபோது உன் பொல்லாப்பு வெளியாயிற்றே. For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,

57 அதற்குமுன் உன் கெர்வத்தின் நாளிலே உன் சகோதரியாகிய சோதோமின் பெயரை உன் வாயினாலே உச்சரிக்கவுமாட்டாய். Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise thee round about.

58 உன் முறைகேட்டையும் உன் அருவருப்புகளையும் நீ சுமப்பாய் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.

59 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்துபோடுகிறதினால் ஆணையை அசட்டைபண்ணின நீ செய்ததுபோல நான் உனக்குச் செய்வேன். For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

60 ஆகிலும் உன் இளவயதில் உன்னோடே பண்ணின என் உடன்படிக்கையை நான் நினைத்து, நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையை உனக்கு ஏற்படுத்துவேன். Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

61 அப்பொழுது உன் தமக்கைகளையும் உன் தங்கைகளையும் நீ சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகையில், உன் வழிகளை நினைத்து நாணுவாய்; அவர்களை நான் உனக்கு குமாரத்திகளாகக் கொடுப்பேன்; உன்னுடைய உடன்படிக்கையைப் பார்த்துக் கொடுப்பதில்லை. Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.

62 உன்னோடே என் உடன்படிக்கையைப்பண்ணி ஏற்படுத்துவேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிவாய். And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:

63 நீ செய்த எல்லாவற்றையும் நான் மன்னித்தருளும்போது, நீ நினைத்து வெட்கி, உன் நாணத்தினால் உன் வாயை இனித் திறக்கமாட்டாதிருப்பாய் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார். That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.

1 Karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Manupuththiranae, nee erusalaemin aruvaruppukalai atharku ariviththuch sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

3 Karththaraakiya aanndavar erusalaemukkuch sollukiraar, kaanaan thaesamae un urpaththikkum un pirappukkum idam, un thakappan emoriyan, un thaay aeththiththi. And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.

4 Un pirappin varththamaanam ennavental, nee pirantha naalilae un thoppul araுkkappadavumillai; nee suththamaavatharkuth thannnneerinaal kulippaattappadavumillai; thunnikalil suttappadavumillai. And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

5 Unakkaakap parithapiththu, ivaikalil ontaiyaakilum unakkuch seyya oru kannnum unpaeril irakkamaayirunthathumillai; nee piranthanaalil nee aruvarukkappattathinaal veliyil erinthuvidappattay. None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.

6 Naan un arukae kadanthupokum pothu, mithikkappaduvatharku aethuvaay nee un iraththaththil kidakkirathaik kanndu, un iraththaththil kidakkira unnaippaarththu: pilaiththiru entu sonnaen. And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.

7 Unnai vayalin payiraipola anaekamaayiramaayp perukumpati vaiththaen; nee valarnthu periyavalaaki, makaa selanthariyavathiyaanaay; un sthanangal elumpina, un mayir valarnthathu; aanaalum, nee nirvaanamum ammanamumaayirunthaay. I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.

8 Naan un arukae kadanthupona pothu, unnaip paarththaen; itho, un kaalam paruvakaalamaayirunthathu; appoluthu en vasthiraththai unmael viriththu, un nirvaanaththai mooti, unakku aannaiyittukkoduththu, unnodu udanpatikkai pannnninaen entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar; ivvithamaay nee ennutaiyavalaanaay. Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

9 Naan unnai jalaththinaal mulukkaatti, unnai iraththamara snaanam pannnuviththu, unakku ennnney poosi, Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

10 Siththiraththaiyalaataiyai unakku uduththi, saayantheerntha paatharatchaைkalai unakkuth thariththu, katta melliya pudavaiyaiyum, mootikkollap pattuch saalvaiyaiyum unakkuk koduththu, I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.

11 Unnai aaparanangalaal alangariththu, un kaikalilae kadakangalaiyum, un kaluththilae sarappanniyaiyum pottu, I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

12 Un nettiyil nettippattaththaiyum, un kaathukalil kaathanniyaiyum, un thalaiyinmael singaaramaana kireedaththaiyum thariththaen.. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

13 Ivvithamaayp ponninaalum velliyinaalum nee alangarikkappattay; un uduppu melliya pudavaiyum pattum siththiraththaiyalaataiyumaayiРρnthathu; melliya maޠεைyum thaenaiyum neyyaiyum saappittay; nee mikavum alakullavalaaki, raajyaththaich suthantharikkum silaakkiyaththaiyum pettaாy. Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.

14 Un alakinaalae un geerththi pura jaathikalukkullae pirasiththamaayittaு; naan unmael vaiththa en makimaiyinaalae athu kuraivattathaay irunthathentu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

15 Neeyovental un alakai nampi, un geerththiyinaal soramaarkkamaay nadanthu, valippokkaril unakku naerpatta yaavarodum vaesiththanampannnni, But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.

16 Un vasthirangalil silavattaை eduththu, palavarunach jotippaana maetaikalai unakku unndaakki, avaikalinmael vaesiththanampannnninaay; appatikkoththa kaariyangal orukkaalum sampaviththathumillai, sampavippathumillai. And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

17 Naan unakkuk koduththa en ponnum en velliyumaana un singaara aaparanangalai nee eduththu, unakku aannsuroopangalai unndaakki, avaikalotae vaesiththanampannnni, Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,

18 Un siththiraththaiyalaataikalai eduththu, avaikalai mooti, en ennnneyaiyum en thoopavarkkaththaiyum avaikalinmun pataiththu, And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them.

19 Naan unakkuk koduththa en appaththaiyum, nee saappidumpati unakkuk koduththa melliya maavaiyum neyyaiyum thaenaiyum nee avaikalinmun sukanthavaasanaiyaakap pataiththaay; kaariyam ippati aayittentu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.

20 Nee enakkup petta un kumaararaiyum un kumaaraththikalaiyum eduththu, avarkalai avaikalukku iraiyaakap paliyittay. Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,

21 Nee seytha vaesiththanangal pothaathentu, nee en pillaikalai avaikalukkuth theekkadakkappannna oppukkoduththu, avarkalaik kolaiseythaay. That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?

22 Nee un ellaa aruvaruppukalilum vaesiththanangalilum nadakkumpothu, nirvaanamum ammanamumaayirunthathum, un iraththaththilae mithikkappada aethuvaaykkidanthathumaana un siraுvayathin naatkalai ninaiyaamarponaay. And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.

23 Aiyo! Unakku aiyo! Entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar; nee seytha pollaappukkalellaam thavira, And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the LORD GOD;)

24 Nee unakku manndapangalaik katti, unakkuch sakala veethikalilum uyarntha maetaikalai unndupannnninaay. That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street.

25 Nee sakala valimukanaiyilum un uyarntha maetaikalaik katti, un alakai aruvaruppaakki, valippokkar yaavarukkum un kaalkalai viriththu, un vaesiththanangalaith thiralaayp perukappannnni, Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.

26 Sathai peruththa un ayal thaesaththaaraakiya ekipthiya puththirarotae vaesiththanampannnni, enakkuk kopam unndaakkumpati un vaesiththanangalaip perukappannnninaay. Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.

27 Aathalaal, itho, naan en kaiyai unakku virothamaaka neetti, unakku niyamiththa pojanaththaik kuraுkki, un muraikaedaana maarkkaththaik kuriththu vetkappatta un pakaiyaalikalaakiya pelistharutaiya kumaaraththikalin ichchaைkku unnai oppukkoduththaen. Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

28 Nee thirupthiyataiyaathathinaal aseeriya puththirarodum vaesiththanampannnninaay; avarkalotae vaesiththanampannnniyum nee thirupthiyataiyavillai. Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.

29 Nee kaanaan thaesaththilae seytha vaesiththanaththai kalthaeyarmattum ettach seythaay; athinaalum nee thirupthiyataiyaamarponaay. Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied therewith.

30 Vetkangaெtta vaesiyin kiriyaikalaakiya ivaikalaiyellaam nee seythu, How weak is thine heart, saith the LORD GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;

31 Sakala valimukanaiyilum un manndapangalaik katti, sakala veethikalilum un maetaikalai unndaakkinapatiyaal, un iruthayam evvalavaayk kalaiththuppoyirukkirathu entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar; nee pannaiyaththai alatchiyampannnukirathinaal, nee vaesiyaippola iraamal, In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

32 Than purushanukkup pathilaaka anniyaraich serththukkollukira vipasaara sthireeyaippola irukkiraay. But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!

33 Ellaa vaesikalukkum pannaiyangaொdukkiraarkal; neeyo un naesarkal suttaுppurangalilirunthu unnidaththil vaesiththananjaெyya varumpati avarkalukkellaam neeyae pannaiyangaொduththu, avarkalukku vekumathikalaith tharukiraay. They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.

34 Ivvithamaay un vaesiththanangalukkum vaeraே sthireekalin vaesiththanangalukkum viththiyaasamunndu; vaesiththanampannna avarkal unnai pin sellamaattarkal; pannaiyam unakkuk kodukkirapatiyaal nee seyvathu vipareetham. And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.

35 Aakaiyaal, vaesiyae, karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kael. Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

36 Karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukirathu ennavental: un vaesiththanaththin asuththam paaynthapatiyinaalum, nee un kaamavikaarikalodum aruvaruppaakiya un narakalaana vikkirakangalodum vaesiththanampannnni, ivaikalukku un pillaikalin iraththaththaip pataiththathinaal un nirvaanam thirakkappattapatiyinaalum, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;

37 Itho, nee sampokampannnnina un ellaak kaamavikaarikalaiyum, nee naesiththa yaavaraiyum, nee pakaiththirukkira anaivarodum naan kootivarachcheythu, suttilumirunthu avarkalai unakku virothamaakach serththu, avarkal un nirvaanaththaiyellaam kaanumpati un nirvaanaththai avarkalukku munpaakath thiranthuvaiththu, Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

38 Vipasaarikalaiyum iraththanjinthinavarkalaiyum niyaayantheerkkirapatiyae unnai niyaayantheerththu, ukkirakaththodum erichchalodum iraththappaliyai unpaeril sumaththi, And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

39 Unnai avarkal kaiyil oppukkoduppaen; avarkal un manndapangalai itiththu, un maetaikalaith tharaiyaakkippottu, un vasthirangalai urinthu, un singaara aaparanangalai eduththukkonndu, unnai ammanamum nirvaanamumaaka vittuppoy, And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.

40 Unakku virothamaaka oru koottaththaik konnduvanthu, unnaik kallerinthu, unnaith thangal pattayangalaal kuththipottu, They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.

41 Un veedukalai akkiniyaal sutteriththu, anaeka sthireekalin kannkalukku munpaaka unnil niyaayaththeerppukalaich seyvaarkal; un vaesiththanaththai oliyappannnuvaen; nee inip pannaiyangaொduppathillai. And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

42 Ivvithamaay en erichchal unnai vittu neengumpati naan en ukkiraththai unnil aarappannnni, ini kopamaayiraamal amaruvaen. So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

43 Nee un ilavayathin naatkalai ninaiyaamal, ivaikalellaavattinaalum enakkuk kopam unndaakkinapatiyinaal, itho, naan un valiyin palanai un thalaiyinmael sumarappannnuvaen entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar; athinaalae ini un ellaa aruvaruppukalinaalum ippatippatta muraikaedaana kaariyaththaich seyyamaattay.. Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.

44 Itho, palamoli sollukiravarkal ellaarum: thaayaippola makal entu unnaikkuriththu palamoli solluvaarkal. Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45 Nee, than purushanaiyum than pillaikalaiyum aruvaruththa un thaayin makal; nee, thangal purusharaiyum thangal pillaikalaiyum aruvaruththa un sakotharikalin sakothari; ungal thaay aeththiththi; ungal thakappan emoriyan. Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

46 Un idathupuraththilae, thaanum than kumaaraththikalumaayk kutiyiruntha samaariyaa un thamakkai; un valathupuraththilae, thaanum than kumaaraththikalumaayk kutiyiruntha sothom un thangai. And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

47 Aakilum nee avarkalutaiya maarkkangalilae nadavaamalum, avarkalutaiya aruvaruppukalinpati seyyaamalum, athu makaa arpakaariyam enkirathupola nee un ellaa valikalilaeyum avarkalaip paarkkilum kaedaay nadanthaay. Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

48 Neeyum un kumaaraththikalum seythathu pola, un sakothariyaakiya sothomum avalutaiya kumaaraththikalum seyyavillai entu en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

49 Itho, kervamum, aakaarath thiratchiyum, nirvisaaramaana saangaோpaangamumaakiya ivaikalae un sakothariyaana sothomin akkiramam; ivaikalae avalidaththilum aval kumaaraththikalidaththilum irunthana; siraுmaiyum elimaiyumaanavanutaiya kaiyai aval palappaduththavillai. Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 Avarkal thangalai uyarththi, en mukaththukku munpaaka aruvaruppaanathaich seythaarkal; athai naan kanndapothu, avarkalai oliththuvittaேn. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

51 Nee seytha paavangalil araivaasiyum samaariyaa seyyavillai; nee un sakotharikalaippaarkkilum unpaavangalaip perukappannnni, nee seytha un ellaa aruvaruppukalilum avarkalai neethiyullavarkalentu vilangappannnninaay. Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

52 Ippothum un sakotharikalaik kuttavaalikal entu theerththa nee avarkalaippaarkkilum aruvaruppaakach seytha un paavangalinimiththam un ilachchaைyaich sumanthukol; unnaip paarkkilum avarkal neethiyullavarkal; un sakotharikalai neethiyullavarkalentu vilangappannnnina nee vetkamatainthu, un ilachchaைyaich sumanthukol. Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.

53 Naan sothomum aval kumaaraththikalum siraiyiruppaiyum, samaariyaavum aval kumaaraththikalum siraiyirukkira siraiyiruppaiyum thiruppumpothu, avarkal naduvil nee siraiyirukkira unnutaiya siraiyiruppaiyum thiruppuvaen. When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:

54 Athinaal nee avarkalukku aaraுthalaaka irunthu, un ilachchaைyaich sumanthu; nee seytha ellaavattinaalum vetkamataivaay. That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

55 Un sakotharikalaakiya sothomum aval kumaaraththikalum thangal munthina seerukkuth thirumpuvaarkal; neeyum un kumaaraththikalum ungal munthina seerukkuth thirumpuveerkal. When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.

56 Unnai veraுkkum seeriyaavin kumaaraththikalum, avalaich suttilum irukkira pelistharin kumaaraththikalum avamaanam pannnninapothu un pollaappu veliyaayitte. For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,

57 Atharkumun un kervaththin naalilae un sakothariyaakiya sothomin peyarai un vaayinaalae uchcharikkavumaattay. Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise thee round about.

58 Un muraikaettaைyum un aruvaruppukalaiyum nee sumappaay entu Karththar sollukiraar. Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.

59 Karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukirathu ennavental: udanpatikkaiyai muriththupodukirathinaal aannaiyai asattaைpannnnina nee seythathupola naan unakkuch seyvaen. For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

60 Aakilum un ilavayathil unnotae pannnnina en udanpatikkaiyai naan ninaiththu, niththiya udanpatikkaiyai unakku aerpaduththuvaen. Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

61 Appoluthu un thamakkaikalaiyum un thangaikalaiyum nee serththukkollukaiyil, un valikalai ninaiththu naanuvaay; avarkalai naan unakku kumaaraththikalaakak koduppaen; unnutaiya udanpatikkaiyaip paarththuk koduppathillai. Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.

62 Unnotae en udanpatikkaiyaippannnni aerpaduththuvaen; appoluthu naan Karththar entu arivaay. And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:

63 Nee seytha ellaavattaைyum naan manniththarulumpothu, nee ninaiththu vetki, un naanaththinaal un vaayai inith thirakkamaattathiruppaay entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar entu sol entar. That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
