உன்னை அவர்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்கள் உன் மண்டபங்களை இடித்து, உன் மேடைகளைத் தரையாக்கிப்போட்டு, உன் வஸ்திரங்களை உரிந்து, உன் சிங்கார ஆபரணங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன்னை அம்மணமும் நிர்வாணமுமாக விட்டுப்போய்,

உன்னை நேசித்தவர்களிடம் உன்னை ஒப்படைப்பேன். அவர்கள் உனது மேடைகளை அழிப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் உன்னை தொழுதுகொள்ளும் இடங்களை எரிப்பார்கள், அவர்கள் உன்னுடைய உயர்ந்த ஆராதனை மேடைகளை உடைத்துப்போடுவார்கள். அவர்கள் உனது ஆடைகளை கிழித்தெறிவார்கள். உனது அழகான நகைகளை எடுத்துக்கொள்வார்கள். நான் உன்னை முதலில் பார்த்தபோது இருந்ததைப் போன்று அவர்கள் உன்னை நிர்வாணமாக விட்டு விட்டுப் போவார்கள்.

உன்னை அவர்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்கள் உன் மண்டபங்களை இடித்து, உன் மேடைகளைத் தரையாக்கிப்போட்டு, உன் வஸ்திரங்களை உரிந்து, உன் சிங்கார ஆபரணங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன்னை அம்மணமும் நிர்வாணமுமாக விட்டுப்போய்,

אוֹתָ֜ךְ ʾēt ate
thee into their hand, בְּיָדָ֗ם yād yahd
and they shall throw down וְהָרְס֤וּ hāras ha-RAHS
thine eminent place, גַבֵּךְ֙ gab ɡahv
and shall break down וְנִתְּצ֣וּ nātaṣ na-TAHTS
thy high places: רָמֹתַ֔יִךְ rāmâ ra-MA
they shall strip וְהִפְשִׁ֤יטוּ pāšaṭ pa-SHAHT
אוֹתָךְ֙ ʾēt ate
thee also of thy clothes, בְּגָדַ֔יִךְ beged beh-ɡED
and shall take וְלָקְח֖וּ lāqaḥ la-KAHK
jewels, כְּלֵ֣י kĕlî keh-LEE
thy fair תִפְאַרְתֵּ֑ךְ tipʾārâ teef-ah-RA
and leave וְהִנִּיח֖וּךְ yānaḥ ya-NAHK
thee naked עֵירֹ֥ם ʿêrōm ay-ROME
and bare. וְעֶרְיָֽה׃ ʿeryâ er-YA
