கண்கள் இருந்தும் காணாமலும், காதுகள் இருந்தும் கேளாமலுமிருக்கிற அறிவில்லாத ஜனங்களே, கேளுங்கள்.

Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

Hear שִׁמְעוּ šāmaʿ sha-MA
now נָ֣א nāʾ na
this, זֹ֔את zōt zote
people, עַ֥ם ʿam am
O foolish סָכָ֖ל sākāl sa-HAHL
and without וְאֵ֣ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
understanding; לֵ֑ב lēb lave
which have eyes, עֵינַ֤יִם ʿayin ah-YEEN
לָהֶם֙
not; וְלֹ֣א lōʾ loh
and see יִרְא֔וּ rāʾâ ra-AH
which have ears, אָזְנַ֥יִם ʾōzen oh-ZEN
לָהֶ֖ם
וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
