அப்பொழுது நான்: இவர்கள் நீசராமே, இவர்கள் மதியற்றவர்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய வழியையும், தங்கள் தேவனுடைய நியாயத்தையும் அறியாதிருக்கிறார்கள் என்றும்;

ஆனால் நான் (எரேமியா) எனக்குள் சொன்னேன். “ஏழைகள் மட்டுமே முட்டாளாக இருக்க வேண்டும். கர்த்தருடைய வழியை ஏழை ஜனங்கள் கற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை. ஏழை ஜனங்கள் அவர்களது தேவனுடைய போதனைகளை அறியாமல் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
