1 எரேமியா இன்னும் காவற்சாலையின் முற்றத்திலே அடைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கையில், கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை அவனுக்கு இரண்டாந்தரம் உண்டாகி, அவர்: Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

2 இதைச் செய்கிற கர்த்தருமாய், இதைத் திடப்படுத்தும்படிக்கு இதை உருவேற்படுத்துகிற கர்த்தருமாயிருக்கிற யேகோவா என்னும் நாமமுள்ளவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;

3 என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடு, அப்பொழுது நான் உனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுத்து, நீ அறியாததும் உனக்கு எட்டாததுமான பெரிய காரியங்களை உனக்கு அறிவிப்பேன். Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

4 எதிர்க்கொத்தளங்களினாலும் பட்டயத்தாலும், இடிக்கப்பட்டவைகளாகிய இந்த நகரத்தின் வீடுகளையும், யூதா ராஜாக்களின் வீடுகளையுங்குறித்து: For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;

5 இந்த நகரத்தின் எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தமும் நான் என் முகத்தை மறைத்தபடியினாலே என் கோபத்திலும் உக்கிரத்திலும் வெட்டுண்ட மனுஷப்பிரேதங்களினாலே அவைகளை நான் நிரப்பும்படியாகவே, அவர்கள் கல்தேயரோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணப்போகிறார்கள். They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

6 இதோ, நான் அவர்களுக்குச் சவுக்கியமும் ஆரோக்கியமும் வரப்பண்ணி, அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கி, அவர்களுக்குப் பரிபூரண சமாதானத்தையும் சத்தியத்தையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவேன். Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

7 நான் யூதாவின் சிறையிருப்பையும், இஸ்ரவேலின் சிறையிருப்பையும் திருப்பி, முன்னிருந்ததுபோல அவர்களைக் கட்டுவித்து, And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

8 அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் குற்றஞ்செய்த அவர்களுடைய எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களுக்கும் அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கிச் சுத்திகரித்து, அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் குற்றஞ்செய்து, எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம்பண்ணின அவர்களுடைய எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களையும் மன்னிப்பேன். And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

9 நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் நன்மையையெல்லாம் கேட்கப்போகிற பூமியின் எல்லா ஜாதிகளுக்கு முன்பாக அது எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியுள்ள கீர்த்தியாயும் புகழ்ச்சியாயும் மகிமையாயும் இருக்கும்; நான் அவர்களுக்கு அருளிச்செய்யும் எல்லா நன்மையினிமித்தமும், எல்லாச்சமாதானத்தினிமித்தமும் இவர்கள் பயந்து நடுங்குவார்கள் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

10 மனுஷனில்லாமலும் மிருகமில்லாமலும் அவாந்தரவெளியாய்க் கிடக்கிறதென்று, நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிற இவ்விடத்திலும், யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும் மனுஷனாவது மிருகமாவது இல்லாத பாழான எருசலேமின் வீதிகளிலும், Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

11 இன்னும் களிப்பின் சத்தமும், மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தமும், மணவாளனின் சத்தமும், மணவாட்டியின் சத்தமும் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், கர்த்தர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று சொல்லுகிறவர்களின் சத்தமும், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளைக் கொண்டுவருகிறவர்களின் சத்தமும் கேட்கப்படும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவர்கள் முன்னிருந்ததுபோலிருக்கும்படி தேசத்தின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்புவேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

12 மனுஷனும் மிருகமும் இல்லாமல் அவாந்தரவெளியாய்க் கிடக்கிற இவ்விடத்திலும், இதற்கடுத்த பட்டணங்களிலும், ஆட்டுமந்தையை மேய்த்து மடக்குகிற மேய்ப்பர்களின் தாபரங்கள் உண்டாயிருக்குமென்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

13 மலைத்தேசமான பட்டணங்களிலும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளான பட்டணங்களிலும், தென்திசைப் பட்டணங்களிலும் பென்யமீன் நாட்டிலும், எருசலேமின் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலும், யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும், ஆட்டுமந்தைகள் தங்களைத் தொகையிடுகிறவனுடைய கைக்குள்ளாகக் கடந்துவரும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.

14 இதோ, நாட்கள் வருமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார், அப்பொழுது நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் குடும்பத்துக்கும், யூதாவின் குடும்பத்துக்கும் சொன்ன நல்வார்த்தையை நிறைவேற்றுவேன். Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

15 அந்நாட்களிலும் அக்காலத்திலும் தாவீதுக்கு நீதியின் கிளையை முளைக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர் பூமியிலே நியாயத்தையும் நீதியையும் நடப்பிப்பார். In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

16 அந்நாட்களில் யூதா இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு, எருசலேம் சுகமாய்த் தங்கும்; அவர் எங்கள் நீதியாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம். In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

17 இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்காரத்தக்க புருஷன் தாவீதுக்கு இல்லாமற்போவதில்லை. For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

18 தகனபலியிட்டு, போஜனபலிசெலுத்தி, நாள்தோறும் பலியிடும் புருஷன் எனக்கு முன்பாக ஆசாரியருக்கும் லேவியருக்கும் இல்லாமற்போவதுமில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார். Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

19 பின்னும் எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அவர்: And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

20 குறித்த தேசங்களில் பகற்காலமும் இராக்காலமும் உண்டாகாதபடிக்கு, நீங்கள் பகற்காலத்தைக்குறித்து நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும், இராக்காலத்தைக்குறித்து நான் உண்டாக்கின உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவமாக்கினால், Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

21 அப்பொழுது என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதோடே நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையும், அவன் சிங்காசனத்தில் அரசாளும் குமாரன் அவனுக்கு இல்லாமற்போகும்படியாக அவமாகும்; என் ஊழியக்காரராகிய லேவியரோடும் ஆசாரியரோடும் நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையும் அப்பொழுது அவமாகும். Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

22 வானத்து நட்சத்திரங்கள் எண்ணப்படாததும் கடற்கரை மணல் அளக்கப்படாததுமாயிருக்கிறதுபோல, நான் என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் சந்ததியையும் எனக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்கிற லேவியரையும் வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார். As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

23 பின்னும் எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அவர், Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

24 கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இரண்டு வம்சங்களையும் வெறுத்துப்போட்டாரென்று இந்த ஜனம் சொல்லி, தங்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் ஜனம் இனி ஒரு ஜாதியல்லவென்று அதைத் தூஷிக்கிறார்களென்பதை நீ காண்கிறதில்லையோ? Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

25 வானத்துக்கும் பூமிக்கும் குறித்திருக்கிற நியமங்களை நான் காவாமல், பகற்காலத்தையும் இராக்காலத்தையுங்குறித்து நான் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கை அற்றுப்போகிறது உண்டானால், Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

26 அப்பொழுது நான் யாக்கோபின் சந்ததியையும், என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் சந்ததியையும் தள்ளி, நான் ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களின் சந்ததியை ஆளத்தக்கவர்களை அதிலிருந்து எடுக்காதபடிக்கு வெறுத்துப்போடுவேன்; அவர்களுடைய சிறையிருப்பை நான் திருப்பி, அவர்களுக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார். Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

1 Eraemiyaa innum kaavarsaalaiyin muttaththilae ataikkappattirukkaiyil, karththarutaiya vaarththai avanukku iranndaantharam unndaaki, avar: Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

2 Ithaich seykira karththarumaay, ithaith thidappaduththumpatikku ithai uruvaerpaduththukira karththarumaayirukkira yaekovaa ennum naamamullavar sollukirathu ennavental: Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;

3 Ennai Nnokkik kooppidu, appoluthu naan unakku uththaravu koduththu, nee ariyaathathum unakku ettathathumaana periya kaariyangalai unakku arivippaen. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

4 Ethirkkoththalangalinaalum pattayaththaalum, itikkappattavaikalaakiya intha nakaraththin veedukalaiyum, yoothaa raajaakkalin veedukalaiyunguriththu: For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;

5 Intha nakaraththin ellaap pollaappinimiththamum naan en mukaththai maraiththapatiyinaalae en kopaththilum ukkiraththilum vettunnda manushappiraethangalinaalae avaikalai naan nirappumpatiyaakavae, avarkal kalthaeyarotae yuththampannnappokiraarkal. 6 Itho, naan avarkalukkuch savukkiyamum aarokkiyamum varappannnni, avarkalaik kunamaakki, avarkalukkup paripoorana samaathaanaththaiyum saththiyaththaiyum velippaduththuvaen. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

7 Naan yoothaavin siraiyiruppaiyum, isravaelin siraiyiruppaiyum thiruppi, munnirunthathupola avarkalaik kattuviththu, And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

8 Avarkal enakku virothamaayk kuttanjaெytha avarkalutaiya ellaa akkiramangalukkum avarkalai neengalaakkich suththikariththu, avarkal enakku virothamaayk kuttanjaெythu, enakku virothamaayth thurokampannnnina avarkalutaiya ellaa akkiramangalaiyum mannippaen. And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

9 Naan avarkalukkuch seyyum nanmaiyaiyellaam kaetkappokira poomiyin ellaa jaathikalukku munpaaka athu enakku makilchchiyulla geerththiyaayum pukalchchiyaayum makimaiyaayum irukkum; naan avarkalukku arulichcheyyum ellaa nanmaiyinimiththamum, ellaachchamaathaanaththinimiththamum ivarkal payanthu nadunguvaarkal entu isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar sollukiraar. And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

10 Manushanillaamalum mirukamillaamalum avaantharaveliyaayk kidakkirathentu, neengal sollukira ivvidaththilum, yoothaavin pattanangalilum manushanaavathu mirukamaavathu illaatha paalaana erusalaemin veethikalilum, Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

11 Innum kalippin saththamum, makilchchiyin saththamum, manavaalanin saththamum, manavaattiyin saththamum senaikalin karththaraith thuthiyungal, Karththar nallavar, avar kirupai entumullathentu sollukiravarkalin saththamum, karththarutaiya aalayaththukku sthoththirapalikalaik konnduvarukiravarkalin saththamum kaetkappadum entu Karththar sollukiraar; avarkal munnirunthathupolirukkumpati thaesaththin siraiyiruppaith thiruppuvaen entu senaikalin Karththar sollukiraar. 12 Manushanum mirukamum illaamal avaantharaveliyaayk kidakkira ivvidaththilum, itharkaduththa pattanangalilum, aattumanthaiyai maeyththu madakkukira maeypparkalin thaaparangal unndaayirukkumentu senaikalin Karththar sollukiraar. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

13 Malaiththaesamaana pattanangalilum, pallaththaakkukalaana pattanangalilum, thenthisaip pattanangalilum penyameen naattilum, erusalaemin suttaுppurangalilum, yoothaavin pattanangalilum, aattumanthaikal thangalaith thokaiyidukiravanutaiya kaikkullaakak kadanthuvarum entu Karththar sollukiraar In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.

14 Itho, naatkal varumentu Karththar sollukiraar, appoluthu naan isravaelin kudumpaththukkum, yoothaavin kudumpaththukkum sonna nalvaarththaiyai niraivaettaுvaen. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

15 Annaatkalilum akkaalaththilum Davidkku neethiyin kilaiyai mulaikkappannnuvaen; avar poomiyilae niyaayaththaiyum neethiyaiyum nadappippaar. In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

16 Annaatkalil yoothaa iratchikkappattu, Jerusalem sukamaayth thangum; avar engal neethiyaayirukkira Karththar enpathu avarutaiya naamam. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

17 Israel vamsaththin singaasanaththinmael utkaaraththakka purushan Davidkku illaamarpovathillai. For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

18 Thakanapaliyittu, pojanapaliseluththi, naalthoraுm paliyidum purushan enakku munpaaka aasaariyarukkum laeviyarukkum illaamarpovathumillai entu Karththar sollukiraar entar. Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

19 Pinnum eraemiyaavukkuk karththarutaiya vaarththai unndaaki, avar: And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

20 Kuriththa thaesangalil pakarkaalamum iraakkaalamum unndaakaathapatikku, neengal pakarkaalaththaikkuriththu naan pannnnina udanpatikkaiyaiyum, iraakkaalaththaikkuriththu naan unndaakkina udanpatikkaiyaiyum avamaakkinaal, Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

21 Appoluthu en thaasanaakiya thaaveethotae naan pannnnina udanpatikkaiyum, avan singaasanaththil arasaalum kumaaran avanukku illaamarpokumpatiyaaka avamaakum; en ooliyakkaararaakiya laeviyarodum aasaariyarodum naan pannnnina udanpatikkaiyum appoluthu avamaakum. Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

22 Vaanaththu natchaththirangal ennnappadaathathum kadarkarai manal alakkappadaathathumaayirukkirathupola, naan en thaasanaakiya thaaveethin santhathiyaiyum enakku ooliyanjaெykira laeviyaraiyum varththikkappannnuvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar entar. 23 Pinnum eraemiyaavukkuk karththarutaiya vaarththai unndaaki, avar, Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

24 Karththar therinthukonnda iranndu vamsangalaiyum veraுththuppottarentu intha janam solli, thangalukku munpaaka en janam ini oru jaathiyallaventu athaith thooshikkiraarkalenpathai nee kaannkirathillaiyo? Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

25 Vaanaththukkum poomikkum kuriththirukkira niyamangalai naan kaavaamal, pakarkaalaththaiyum iraakkaalaththaiyunguriththu naan pannnnina udanpatikkai attaுppokirathu unndaanaal, Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

26 Appoluthu naan yaakkopin santhathiyaiyum, en thaasanaakiya thaaveethin santhathiyaiyum thalli, naan Abraham eesaakku yaakkopu enpavarkalin santhathiyai aalaththakkavarkalai athilirunthu edukkaathapatikku veraுththuppoduvaen; avarkalutaiya siraiyiruppai naan thiruppi, avarkalukku iranguvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar entar. Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
