எதிர்க்கொத்தளங்களினாலும் பட்டயத்தாலும், இடிக்கப்பட்டவைகளாகிய இந்த நகரத்தின் வீடுகளையும், யூதா ராஜாக்களின் வீடுகளையுங்குறித்து:

இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எருசலேமில் உள்ள வீடுகளைப்பற்றியும் யூதாவிலுள்ள அரசர்களின் அரண்மனைகளைப்பற்றியும் கூறுகிறார்: ‘பகைவர்கள் அவ்வீடுகளை இடித்துத் தள்ளுவார்கள். நகரச்சுவர்களில் உயரமான எடுசுவர்களைக் கட்டுவார்கள். பகைவர்கள் வாள்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவார்கள். இந்நகரங்களில் உள்ள ஜனங்களோடு சண்டையிடுவார்கள்.
