Psalm 94 in Tamil

1 நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுகிற தேவனே, பிரகாசியும். O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

2 பூமியின் நியாயாதிபதியே, நீர் எழுந்து பெருமைக்காரருக்குப் பதிலளியும். Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

3 கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் மகிழ்ந்து, துன்மார்க்கர் எதுவரைக்கும் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள். LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

4 எதுவரைக்கும் அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் வாயாடி கடினமாய்ப் பேசி, பெருமைப் பாராட்டுவார்கள்? How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

5 கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உமது ஜனத்தை நொறுக்கி, உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள். They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

6 விதவையையும் பரதேசியையும் கொன்று, திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக் கொலை செய்து: They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

7 கர்த்தர் பாரார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் கவனியார் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள். Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

8 ஜனத்தில் மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களே, உணர்வடையுங்கள்; மூடரே, எப்பொழுது புத்திமான்களாவீர்கள்? Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

9 காதை உண்டாக்கினவர் கேளாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கினவர் காணாரோ? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 ஜாதிகளை தண்டிக்கிறவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளாரோ? மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவைப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறியாரோ? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 மனுஷனுடைய யோசனைகள் வீணென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார். The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 கர்த்தாவே, துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் குழிவெட்டப்படும்வரைக்கும், நீர் தீங்குநாட்களில் அமர்ந்திருக்கப்பண்ணி, Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

13 சிட்சித்து, உம்முடைய வேதத்தைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான். That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனத்தை நெகிழவிடாமலும், தம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தைக் கைவிடாமலும் இருப்பார். For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 நியாயம் நீதியினிடமாகத் திரும்பும்; செம்மையான இருதயத்தார் யாவரும் அதைப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள். But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 துன்மார்க்கருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? அக்கிரமக்காரருக்கு விரோதமாய் என் பட்சத்தில் நிற்பவன் யார்? Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிராவிட்டால், என் ஆத்துமா சீக்கிரமாய் மவுனத்தில் வாசம்பண்ணியிருக்கும். Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது என்று நான் சொல்லும்போது, கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது. When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

19 என் உள்ளத்தில் விசாரங்கள் பெருகுகையில், உம்முடைய ஆறுதல்கள் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றுகிறது. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 தீமையைக் கட்டளையினால் பிறப்பிக்கிற கொடுங்கோலாசனம் உமக்கு இசைந்திருக்குமோ? Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 அவர்கள் நீதிமானுடைய ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைக் குற்றப்படுத்துகிறார்கள். They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு அடைக்கலமும், என் தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையுமாயிருக்கிறார். But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பார். And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

1 Neethiyaich sarikkattukira thaevanaakiya karththaavae, neethiyaich sarikkattukira thaevanae, pirakaasiyum. O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

2 Poomiyin niyaayaathipathiyae, neer elunthu perumaikkaararukkup pathilaliyum. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

3 Karththaavae, thunmaarkkar ethuvaraikkum makilnthu, thunmaarkkar ethuvaraikkum kalikoornthiruppaarkal. LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

4 Ethuvaraikkum akkiramakkaarar yaavarum vaayaati katinamaayp paesi, perumaip paaraattuvaarkal? How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

5 Karththaavae, avarkal umathu janaththai noraுkki, umathu suthantharaththai odukkukiraarkal. They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

6 Vithavaiyaiyum parathaesiyaiyum kontu, thikkatta pillaikalaik kolai seythu: They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

7 Karththar paaraar, yaakkopin Dhevan kavaniyaar entu sollukiraarkal. Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

8 Janaththil mirukakunamullavarkalae, unarvataiyungal; moodarae, eppoluthu puththimaankalaaveerkal? Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

9 Kaathai unndaakkinavar kaelaaro? Kannnnai uruvaakkinavar kaannaaro? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 Jaathikalai thanntikkiravar katinthukollaaro? Manushanukku arivaip pothikkiravar ariyaaro? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 Manushanutaiya yosanaikal veennentu Karththar arinthirukkiraar. The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 Karththaavae, thunmaarkkanukkuk kulivettappadumvaraikkum, neer theengunaatkalil amarnthirukkappannnni, Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

13 Sitchiththu, ummutaiya vaethaththaikkonndu pothikkira manushan paakkiyavaan. That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 Karththar thammutaiya janaththai nekilavidaamalum, thammutaiya suthantharaththaik kaividaamalum iruppaar. For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 Niyaayam neethiyinidamaakath thirumpum; semmaiyaana iruthayaththaar yaavarum athaip pinpattaுvaarkal. But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 Thunmaarkkarukku virothamaay en patchaththil elumpukiravan yaar? Akkiramakkaararukku virothamaay en patchaththil nirpavan yaar? Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 Karththar enakkuth thunnaiyaayiraavittal, en aaththumaa seekkiramaay mavunaththil vaasampannnniyirukkum. Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 En kaal saraுkkukirathu entu naan sollumpothu, karththaavae, umathu kirupai ennaith thaangukirathu. When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

19 En ullaththil visaarangal perukukaiyil, ummutaiya aaraுthalkal en aaththumaavaith thaettaுkirathu. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 Theemaiyaik kattalaiyinaal pirappikkira kodungaோlaasanam umakku isainthirukkumo? Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 Avarkal neethimaanutaiya aaththumaavukku virothamaayk koottangaூti, kuttamillaatha iraththaththaik kuttappaduththukiraarkal. They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 Karththaro enakku ataikkalamum, en Dhevan naan nampiyirukkira kanmalaiyumaayirukkiraar. But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 Avarkalutaiya akkiramaththai avarkalmael thiruppi, avarkalutaiya pollaappinimiththam avarkalaich sangarippaar; nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar avarkalaich sangarippaar. And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
