Genesis 15 in Tamil

1 இந்தக் காரியங்கள் நடந்தபின்பு, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை ஆபிராமுக்குத் தரிசனத்திலே உண்டாகி, அவர்; ஆபிராமே, நீ பயப்படாதே; நான் உனக்குக் கேடகமும், உனக்கு மகா பெரிய பலனுமாயிருக்கிறேன் என்றார். After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

2 அதற்கு ஆபிராம்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, அடியேனுக்கு என்ன தருவீர்? நான் பிள்ளையில்லாமல் இருக்கிறேனே; தமஸ்கு ஊரானாகிய இந்த எலியேசர் என் வீட்டு விசாரணைக் கர்த்தனாய் இருக்கிறானே என்றான். And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

3 பின்னும் ஆபிராம்: தேவரீர் எனக்குப் புத்திர சந்தானம் அருளவில்லை; இதோ என் வீட்டிலே பிறந்த பிள்ளை எனக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியாய் இருக்கிறான் என்றான். And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

4 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை அவனுக்கு உண்டாகி: இவன் உனக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியல்ல, உன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பாயிருப்பவனே உனக்குச் சுதந்தரவாளியாவான் என்று சொல்லி, And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

5 அவர் அவனை வெளியே அழைத்து: நீ வானத்தை அண்ணாந்து பார், நட்சத்திரங்களை எண்ண உன்னாலே கூடுமானால், அவைகளை எண்ணு என்று சொல்லி; பின்பு அவனை நோக்கி: உன் சந்ததி இவ்வண்ணமாய் இருக்கும் என்றார். And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

6 அவன் கர்த்தரை விசுவாசித்தான், அதை அவர் அவனுக்கு நீதியாக எண்ணினார். And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

7 பின்னும் அவர் அவனை நோக்கி: இந்தத் தேசத்தை உனக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கும்பொருட்டு, உன்னை ஊர் என்கிற கல்தேயருடைய பட்டணத்திலிருந்து அழைத்து வந்த கர்த்தர் நானே என்றார். And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

8 அதற்கு அவன்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, நான் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வேன் என்று எதினால் அறிவேன் என்றான். And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

9 அதற்கு அவர்: மூன்று வயதுக் கிடாரியையும், மூன்று வயது வெள்ளாட்டையும், மூன்று வயது ஆட்டுக்கடாவையும், ஒரு காட்டுப் புறாவையும், ஒரு புறாக்குஞ்சையும், என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவா என்றார். And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

10 அவன் அவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டு வந்து, அவைகளை நடுவாகத் துண்டித்து, துண்டங்களை ஒன்றுக்கொன்று எதிராக வைத்தான்; பட்சிகளை அவன் துண்டிக்கவில்லை. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

11 பறவைகள் அந்த உடல்களின்மேல் இறங்கின; அவைகளை ஆபிராம் துரத்தினான். And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

12 சூரியன் அஸ்தமிக்கும்போது, ஆபிராமுக்கு அயர்ந்த நித்திரை வந்தது; திகிலும் காரிருளும் அவனை மூடிக்கொண்டது. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

13 அப்பொழுது அவர் ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: உன் சந்ததியார் தங்களுடையதல்லாத அந்நிய தேசத்திலே பரதேசிகளாயிருந்து, அத்தேசத்தாரைச் சேவிப்பார்கள் என்றும், அவர்களால் நானூறு வருஷம் உபத்திரவப்படுவார்கள் என்றும், நீ நிச்சயமாய் அறியՠύகடவாய். And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 இவர்கள் சேவிக்கும் ஜாதிகளை நான் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்; பின்பு மிகுந்த பொருள்களுடனே புறப்பட்டு வருவார்கள். And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 நீ சமாதானத்தோடே உன் பிதாக்களிடத்தில் சேருவாய்; நல்ல முதிர்வயதிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணப்படுவாய். And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

16 நாலாம் தலைமுறையிலே அவர்கள் இவ்விடத்துக்குத் திரும்ப வருவார்கள்; ஏனென்றால் எமோரியருடைய அக்கிரமம் இன்னும் நிறைவாகவில்லை என்றார். But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

17 சூரியன் அஸ்தமித்துக் காரிருள் உண்டானபின்பு, இதோ, புகைகிற சூளையும், அந்தத் துண்டங்களின் நடுவே கடந்துபோகிற அக்கினி ஜுவாலையும் தோன்றின. And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

18 அந்நாளிலே கர்த்தர் ஆபிராமோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணி, எகிப்தின் நதி துவக்கி ஐபிராத்து நதி என்னும் பெரிய நதிமட்டுமுள்ளதும் In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

19 கேனியரும், கெனிசியரும், கத்மோனியரும், The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

20 ஏத்தியரும், பெரிசியரும், ரெப்பாயீமியரும், And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaim,

21 எமோரியரும், கானானியரும், கிர்காசியரும், எபூசியரும் என்பவர்கள் இருக்கிறதுமான இந்தத் தேசத்தை உன் சந்ததிக்குக் கொடுத்தேன் என்றார். And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

1 Inthak kaariyangal nadanthapinpu, karththarutaiya vaarththai aapiraamukkuth tharisanaththilae unndaaki, avar; aapiraamae, nee payappadaathae; naan unakkuk kaedakamum, unakku makaa periya palanumaayirukkiraேn entar. After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

2 Atharku aapiraam: karththaraakiya aanndavarae, atiyaenukku enna tharuveer? Naan pillaiyillaamal irukkiraேnae; thamasku ooraanaakiya intha eliyaesar en veettu visaarannaik karththanaay irukkiraanae entan. And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

3 Pinnum aapiraam: thaevareer enakkup puththira santhaanam arulavillai; itho en veettilae pirantha pillai enakkuch suthantharavaaliyaay irukkiraan entan. And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

4 Appoluthu karththarutaiya vaarththai avanukku unndaaki: ivan unakkuch suthantharavaaliyalla, un karppappirappaayiruppavanae unakkuch suthantharavaaliyaavaan entu solli, And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

5 Avar avanai veliyae alaiththu: nee vaanaththai annnnaanthu paar, natchaththirangalai ennna unnaalae koodumaanaal, avaikalai ennnu entu solli; pinpu avanai Nnokki: un santhathi ivvannnamaay irukkum entar. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

6 Avan karththarai visuvaasiththaan, athai avar avanukku neethiyaaka ennnninaar. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

7 Pinnum avar avanai Nnokki: inthath thaesaththai unakkuch suthantharamaakak kodukkumporuttu, unnai oor enkira kalthaeyarutaiya pattanaththilirunthu alaiththu vantha Karththar naanae entar. And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

8 Atharku avan: karththaraakiya aanndavarae, naan athaich suthanthariththukkolvaen entu ethinaal arivaen entan. And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

9 Atharku avar: moontu vayathuk kidaariyaiyum, moontu vayathu vellaattaைyum, moontu vayathu aattukkadaavaiyum, oru kaattup puraavaiyum, oru puraakkunjaiyum, ennidaththil konnduvaa entar. And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

10 Avan avaikal ellaavattaைyum avaridaththil konndu vanthu, avaikalai naduvaakath thunntiththu, thunndangalai ontukkontu ethiraaka vaiththaan; patchikalai avan thunntikkavillai. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

11 Paravaikal antha udalkalinmael irangina; avaikalai aapiraam thuraththinaan. And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

12 Sooriyan asthamikkumpothu, aapiraamukku ayarntha niththirai vanthathu; thikilum kaarirulum avanai mootikkonndathu. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

13 Appoluthu avar aapiraamai Nnokki: un santhathiyaar thangalutaiyathallaatha anniya thaesaththilae parathaesikalaayirunthu, aththaesaththaaraich sevippaarkal entum, avarkalaal naanooraு varusham upaththiravappaduvaarkal entum, nee nichchayamaay ariyaՠύkadavaay. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 Ivarkal sevikkum jaathikalai naan niyaayantheerppaen; pinpu mikuntha porulkaludanae purappattu varuvaarkal. And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 Nee samaathaanaththotae un pithaakkalidaththil seruvaay; nalla muthirvayathilae adakkampannnappaduvaay. And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

16 Naalaam thalaimuraiyilae avarkal ivvidaththukkuth thirumpa varuvaarkal; aenental emoriyarutaiya akkiramam innum niraivaakavillai entar. But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

17 Sooriyan asthamiththuk kaarirul unndaanapinpu, itho, pukaikira soolaiyum, anthath thunndangalin naduvae kadanthupokira akkini juvaalaiyum thontina. And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

18 Annaalilae Karththar aapiraamotae udanpatikkaipannnni, ekipthin nathi thuvakki aipiraaththu nathi ennum periya nathimattumullathum In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

19 Kaeniyarum, kenisiyarum, kathmoniyarum, The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

20 Aeththiyarum, perisiyarum, reppaayeemiyarum, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaim,

21 Emoriyarum, kaanaaniyarum, kirkaasiyarum, epoosiyarum enpavarkal irukkirathumaana inthath thaesaththai un santhathikkuk koduththaen entar. And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
