Genesis 16 in Tamil

1 ஆபிராமுடைய மனைவியாகிய சாராய்க்குப் பிள்ளையில்லாதிருந்தது. எகிப்து தேசத்தாளாகிய ஆகார் என்னும் பேர் கொண்ட ஒரு அடிமைப் பெண் அவளுக்கு இருந்தாள். Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

2 சாராய் ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: நான் பிள்ளைபெறாதபடிக்குக் கர்த்தர் என் கர்ப்பத்தை அடைத்திருக்கிறார்; என் அடிமைப் பெண்ணோடே சேரும், ஒருவேளை அவளால் என் வீடு கட்டப்படும் என்றாள். சாராயின் வார்த்தைக்கு ஆபிராம் செவிகொடுத்தான். And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

3 ஆபிராம் கானான் தேசத்தில் பத்து வருஷம் குடியிருந்தபின்பு, ஆபிராமின் மனைவியாகிய சாராய் எகிப்து தேசத்தாளான தன் அடிமைப்பெண்ணாகிய ஆகாரை அழைத்து, அவளைத் தன் புருஷனாகிய ஆபிராமுக்கு மறுமனையாட்டியாகக் கொடுத்தாள். And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

4 அவன் ஆகாரோடே சேர்ந்தபோது, அவள் கர்ப்பந்தரித்தாள்; அவள் தான் கர்ப்பவதியானதைக் கண்டபோது, தன் நாச்சியாரை அற்பமாக எண்ணினாள் And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

5 அப்பொழுது சாராய் ஆபிராமை நோக்கி: எனக்கு நேரிட்ட அநியாயம் உமதுமேல் சுமரும்; என் அடிமைப் பெண்ணை உம்முடைய மடியிலே கொடுத்தேன்; அவள் தான் கர்ப்பவதியானதைக் கண்டு என்னை அற்பமாக எண்ணுகிறாள்; கர்த்தர் எனக்கும் உமக்கும் நடுநின்று நியாயந்தீர்ப்பாராக என்றாள். And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

6 அதற்கு ஆபிராம் சாராயை நோக்கி: இதோ உன் அடிமைப்பெண் உன் கைக்குள் இருக்கிறாள்; உன் பார்வைக்கு நலமானபடி அவளுக்குச் செய் என்றான். அப்பொழுது சாராய் அவளைக் கடினமாய் நடத்தினபடியால் அவள் அவளைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போனாள். But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

7 கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவளை வனாந்தரத்திலே சூருக்குப்போகிற வழியருகே இருக்கிற நீரூற்றண்டையில் கண்டு: And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

8 சாராயின் அடிமைப்பெண்ணாகிய ஆகாரே, எங்கேயிருந்து வருகிறாய்? எங்கே போகிறாய்? என்று கேட்டார்; அவள்: நான் என் நாச்சியாராகிய சாராயைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போகிறேன் என்றாள். And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

9 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர்: நீ உன் நாச்சியாரண்டைக்குத் திரும்பிப்போய், அவள் கையின்கீழ் அடங்கியிரு என்றார். And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

10 பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவளை நோக்கி: உன் சந்ததியை மிகவும் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன்; அது பெருகி, எண்ணிமுடியாததாயிருக்கும் என்றார். And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

11 பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவளை நோக்கி: நீ கர்ப்பவதியாயிருக்கிறாய், ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாய்; கர்த்தர் உன் அங்கலாய்ப்பைக் கேட்டபடியினால், அவனுக்கு இஸ்மவேல் என்று பேரிடுவாயாக. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

12 அவன் துஷ்டமனுஷனாயிருப்பான்; அவனுடைய கை எல்லாருக்கும் விரோதமாகவும், எல்லாருடைய கையும் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகவும் இருக்கும்; தன் சகோதரர் எல்லாருக்கும் எதிராகக் குடியிருப்பான் என்றார். And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

13 அப்பொழுது அவள்: என்னைக் காண்பவரை நானும் என்னிடத்தில் கண்டேன் அல்லவா என்று சொல்லி, தன்னோடே பேசின கர்த்தருக்கு நீர் என்னைக் காண்கிற தேவன் என்று பேரிட்டாள். And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

14 ஆகையால் அந்தத் துரவு பெயர் லகாய்ரோயீ என்னப்பட்டது; அது காதேசுக்கும் பாரேத்துக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கிறது. Wherefore the well was called Beerlahairoi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

15 ஆகார் ஆபிராமுக்கு ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்றாள்; ஆபிராம் ஆகார் பெற்ற தன் குமாரனுக்கு இஸ்மவேல் என்று பேரிட்டான். And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

16 ஆகார் ஆபிராமுக்கு இஸ்மவேலைப் பெற்றபோது, ஆபிராம் எண்பத்தாறு வயதாயிருந்தான். And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

1 Aapiraamutaiya manaiviyaakiya saaraaykkup pillaiyillaathirunthathu. Ekipthu thaesaththaalaakiya aakaar ennum paer konnda oru atimaip penn avalukku irunthaal. Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

2 Saaraay aapiraamai Nnokki: naan pillaiperaathapatikkuk Karththar en karppaththai ataiththirukkiraar; en atimaip pennnnotae serum, oruvaelai avalaal en veedu kattappadum ental. Saaraayin vaarththaikku aapiraam sevikoduththaan. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

3 Aapiraam kaanaan thaesaththil paththu varusham kutiyirunthapinpu, aapiraamin manaiviyaakiya saaraay ekipthu thaesaththaalaana than atimaippennnnaakiya aakaarai alaiththu, avalaith than purushanaakiya aapiraamukku maraுmanaiyaattiyaakak koduththaal. And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

4 Avan aakaarotae sernthapothu, aval karppanthariththaal; aval thaan karppavathiyaanathaik kanndapothu, than naachchiyaarai arpamaaka ennnninaal And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

5 Appoluthu saaraay aapiraamai Nnokki: enakku naeritta aniyaayam umathumael sumarum; en atimaip pennnnai ummutaiya matiyilae koduththaen; aval thaan karppavathiyaanathaik kanndu ennai arpamaaka ennnukiraal; Karththar enakkum umakkum nadunintu niyaayantheerppaaraaka ental. And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

6 Atharku aapiraam saaraayai Nnokki: itho un atimaippenn un kaikkul irukkiraal; un paarvaikku nalamaanapati avalukkuch sey entan. Appoluthu saaraay avalaik katinamaay nadaththinapatiyaal aval avalaivittu otipponaal. But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

7 Karththarutaiya thoothanaanavar avalai vanaantharaththilae soorukkuppokira valiyarukae irukkira neeroottanntaiyil kanndu: And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

8 Saaraayin atimaippennnnaakiya aakaarae, engaeyirunthu varukiraay? Engae pokiraay? Entu kaettar; aval: naan en naachchiyaaraakiya saaraayaivittu otippokiraேn ental. And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

9 Appoluthu karththarutaiya thoothanaanavar: nee un naachchiyaaranntaikkuth thirumpippoy, aval kaiyingeel adangiyiru entar. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

10 Pinnum karththarutaiya thoothanaanavar avalai Nnokki: un santhathiyai mikavum perukappannnuvaen; athu peruki, ennnnimutiyaathathaayirukkum entar. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

11 Pinnum karththarutaiya thoothanaanavar avalai Nnokki: nee karppavathiyaayirukkiraay, oru kumaaranaip peraுvaay; Karththar un angalaayppaik kaettapatiyinaal, avanukku ismavael entu paeriduvaayaaka. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

12 Avan thushdamanushanaayiruppaan; avanutaiya kai ellaarukkum virothamaakavum, ellaarutaiya kaiyum avanukku virothamaakavum irukkum; than sakotharar ellaarukkum ethiraakak kutiyiruppaan entar. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

13 Appoluthu aval: ennaik kaannpavarai naanum ennidaththil kanntaen allavaa entu solli, thannotae paesina karththarukku neer ennaik kaannkira Dhevan entu paerittal. And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

14 Aakaiyaal anthath thuravu peyar lakaayroyee ennappattathu; athu kaathaesukkum paaraeththukkum naduvae irukkirathu. Wherefore the well was called Beerlahairoi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

15 Aakaar aapiraamukku oru kumaaranaip pettaாl; aapiraam aakaar petta than kumaaranukku ismavael entu paerittan. And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

16 Aakaar aapiraamukku ismavaelaip pettapothu, aapiraam ennpaththaaraு vayathaayirunthaan. And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
