2 Kings 10 in Tamil

1 ஆகாபுக்குச் சமாரியாவிலே எழுபது குமாரர் இருந்தபடியினால், யெகூ சமாரியாவிலிருக்கிற யெஸ்ரயேலின் பிரபுக்களாகிய மூப்பரிடத்துக்கும், ஆகாபுடைய பிள்ளைகளை வளர்க்கிறவர்களிடத்துக்கும் நிருபங்களை எழுதியனுப்பினான். And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's children, saying,

2 அதில்: உங்கள் ஆண்டவனுடைய குமாரர்கள் உங்களோடிருக்கிறார்களே; இரதங்களும், குதிரைகளும், அரணான பட்டணமும் ஆயுதங்களும் உங்களுக்கு உண்டே. Now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fenced city also, and armor;

And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.

Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.

7 இந்த நிருபம் அவர்களிடத்தில் வந்தபோது, அவர்கள் ராஜாவின் குமாரராகிய எழுபதுபேரையும் பிடித்து வெட்டி, அவர்கள் தலைகளைக் கூடைகளில் வைத்து, யெஸ்ரயேலிலிருக்கிற அவனிடத்திற்கு அனுப்பினார்கள். And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.

And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.

9 மறுநாள் காலமே அவன் வெளியே வந்து நின்று, சகல ஜனங்களையும் நோக்கி: நீங்கள் நீதிமான்களல்லவா? இதோ, என் ஆண்டவனுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணி அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட்டேனே; ஆனாலும் இவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் கொன்றவன் யார்? And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?

10 ஆதலால் கர்த்தர் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தாருக்கு விரோதமாகச் சொன்ன கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைகளில் ஒன்றும் தரையிலே விழவில்லை என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய எலியாவைக்கொண்டு சொன்னதைச் செய்தார் என்றான். Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.

11 யெஸ்ரயேலிலும் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தாரில் மீதியான யாவரையும், அவனுக்கு இருந்த எல்லா மந்திரிகளையும், அவனைச்சேர்ந்த மனுஷரையும், அவனுடைய ஆசாரியர்களையும், அவனுக்கு ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காதபடிக்கு யெகூ கொன்றுபோட்டான். So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolk, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

13 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அகசியாவின் சகோதரரை அங்கே கண்டு, நீங்கள் யார் என்று கேட்டான். அவர்கள்: நாங்கள் அகசியாவின் சகோதரர்; நாங்கள் ராஜாவின் பிள்ளைகளையும் ராஜஸ்திரீயின் பிள்ளைகளையும் வினவுகிறதற்குப் போகிறோம் என்றார்கள். Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are ye? And they answered, We are the brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen.

14 அப்பொழுது அவன்: இவர்களை உயிரோடே பிடியுங்கள் என்றான்; அவர்களை உயிரோடே பிடித்து, நாற்பத்திரண்டு பேர்களாகிய அவர்களை ஆட்டுமயிர் கத்தரிக்கிற துரவண்டையிலே வெட்டிப் போட்டார்கள்; அவர்களில் ஒருவனையும் அவன் மீதியாக விடவில்லை. And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.

15 அவன் அவ்விடம் விட்டுப் புறப்பட்ட போது, தனக்கு எதிர்ப்பட்ட ரேகாபின் குமாரனாகிய யோனதாபைச் சந்தித்து, அவனை உபசரித்து: என் இருதயம் உன் இருதயத்தோடே செம்மையாய் இருக்கிறதுபோல உன் இருதயமும் செம்மையாயிருக்கிறதா என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு யோனதாப்: அப்படியே இருக்கிறது என்றான்; அப்படியிருக்கிறதானால், உன் கையைத் தா என்று சொன்னான்; அவன் தன் கையைக் கொடுத்தபோது, அவனைத் தன்னிடத்தில் இரதத்தின்மேல் ஏறிவரச் சொல்லி, And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.

16 நீ என்னோடே கூடவந்து கர்த்தருக்காக எனக்கு இருக்கிற பக்திவைராக்கியத்தைப் பார் என்றான்; அப்படியே இவனை அவன் இரதத்தின்மேல் ஏற்றினார்கள். And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.

17 அவன் சமாரியாவுக்கு வந்தபோது, கர்த்தர் எலியாவோடே சொன்ன வார்த்தையின்படியே, சமாரியாவில் ஆகாபுக்கு மீதியான யாவரையும் அழித்துத் தீருமளவும் சங்காரஞ்செய்தான். And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.

18 பின்பு யெகூ ஜனங்களையெல்லாம் கூட்டி, அவர்களை நோக்கி: ஆகாப் பாகாலைச் சேவித்தது கொஞ்சம், யெகூ அவனைச் சேவிப்பது மிகுதி. And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; but Jehu shall serve him much.

19 இப்போதும் பாகாலின் சகல தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும், அவனுடைய சகல பணிவிடைக் காரரையும், அவனுடைய சகல ஆசாரியரையும் என்னிடத்தில் அழைப்பியுங்கள்; ஒருவனும் குறையலாகாது; நான் பாகாலுக்குப் பெரிய பலியிடப்போகிறேன்; வராதவன் எவனோ அவன் உயிரோடிருப்பதில்லை என்றான்; பாகாலின் பணிவிடைக்காரரை அழிக்கும்படி யெகூ இதைத் தந்திரமாய்ச் செய்தான். Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.

20 பாகாலுக்குப் பண்டிகையின் ஆசரிப்பைக் கூறுங்கள் என்று யெகூ சொன்னான்; அப்படியே கூறினார்கள். And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

21 யெகூ இஸ்ரவேல் தேசமெங்கும் அதைச் சொல்லியனுப்பினபடியினால், பாகாலின் பணிவிடைக்காரர் எல்லாரும் வந்தார்கள்; வராதவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை; அவர்கள் பாகாலின் கோவிலுக்குள் பிரவேசித்ததினால் பாகாலின் கோவில் நாற்சாரியும் நிறைந்திருந்தது. And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.

22 அப்பொழுது அவன், வஸ்திரசாலை விசாரிப்புக்காரனை நோக்கி: பாகாலின் பணிவிடைக்காரருக்கெல்லாம் வஸ்திரங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுவா என்றான்; அவர்களுக்கு வஸ்திரங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தான். And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.

23 பின்பு யெகூ: ரேகாபின் குமாரனாகிய யோனதாபோடுங்கூடப் பாகாலின் கோவிலுக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, பாகாலின் பணிவிடைக்காரரை நோக்கி: பாகாலின் ஊழியக்காரரை அல்லாமல் கர்த்தரின் ஊழியக்காரரில் ஒருவரும் இங்கே உங்களோடு இராதபடிக்குத் திட்டமாய்ப் பாருங்கள் என்றான். And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.

24 அவர்கள் பலிகளையும் சர்வாங்க தகனங்களையும் செலுத்த உட்பிரவேசித்த பின்பு, யெகூ வெளியிலே எண்பது பேரைத் தனக்கு ஆயத்தமாக வைத்து: நான் உங்கள் கையில் ஒப்புவிக்கிற மனுஷரில் ஒருவனை எவன் தப்பவிடுகிறானோ அவனுடைய ஜீவனுக்குப் பதிலாக அவனைத் தப்பவிட்டவனுடைய ஜீவன் ஈடாயிருக்கும் என்றான். And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.

25 சர்வாங்க தகனபலியிட்டுத் தீர்ந்த போது, யெகூ சேவகரையும் சேர்வைக்காரரையும் நோக்கி: உள்ளேபோய், அவர்களை வெட்டிப்போடுங்கள்; ஒருவரையும் வெளியே விடவேண்டாம் என்றான்; அப்படியே பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் சேவகரும் சேர்வைக்காரரும் அவர்களை வெட்டி எறிந்துபோட்டு, பாகால் கோவிலைச் சேர்ந்த ஸ்தலம் எங்கும்போய், And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.

26 பாகால் கோவில் விக்கிரகங்களை வெளியே எடுத்துவந்து, அவைகளைத் தீக்கொளுத்தி, And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.

27 பாகாலின் சிலையைத் தகர்த்து, பாகாலின் கோவிலை இடித்து, அதை இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதுபோல மலஜலாதி இடமாக்கினார்கள். And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.

28 இப்படியே யெகூ பாகாலை இஸ்ரவேலில் இராதபடிக்கு அழித்துப்போட்டான். Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

29 ஆனாலும் பெத்தேலிலும் தாணிலும் வைத்த பொற்கன்றுக்குட்டிகளால், இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின நேபாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களை யெகூ விட்டு விலகவில்லை. Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.

30 கர்த்தர் யெகூவை நோக்கி: என் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதை நீ நன்றாய்ச் செய்து, என் இருதயத்தில் இருந்தபடியெல்லாம் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்துக்குச் செய்தபடியினால், உன் குமாரர் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் நாலு தலைமுறையாக வீற்றிருப்பார்கள் என்றார். And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

31 ஆனாலும் யெகூ இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனுடைய கர்த்தரின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்படி தன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் நடக்கக் கவலைப்படவில்லை; இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களை விட்டு அவன் விலகவும் இல்லை. But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.

32 அந்நாட்கள் முதல் கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலைக் குறைந்துபோகப்பண்ணினார்; ஆசகேல் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேலின் எல்லைகளிலெல்லாம் முறிய அடித்து, In those days the LORD began to cut Israel short: and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;

33 யோர்தான் துவக்கிக் கிழக்கிலுள்ள அர்னோன் நதிக்குச் சமீபமான ஆரோவேர் முதற்கொண்டிருக்கிற கீலேயாத்திலும் பாசானிலுமுள்ள காதியர், ரூபேனியர், மனாசேயர் இவர்களுடைய தேசமாகிய கீலேயாத் முழுவதையும் முறிய அடித்தான். From Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

34 யெகூவின் மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவன் செய்தவை யாவும், அவனுடைய எல்லா வல்லமையும் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

35 யெகூ தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவனைச் சமாரியாவில் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் அவன் குமாரனாகிய யோவாகாஸ் ராஜாவானான். And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.

36 யெகூ சமாரியாவிலே இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணின நாட்கள் இருபத்தெட்டு வருஷம். And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.

1 Aakaapukkuch samaariyaavilae elupathu kumaarar irunthapatiyinaal, yekoo samaariyaavilirukkira yesrayaelin pirapukkalaakiya moopparidaththukkum, aakaaputaiya pillaikalai valarkkiravarkalidaththukkum nirupangalai eluthiyanuppinaan. And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's children, saying,

2 Athil: ungal aanndavanutaiya kumaararkal ungalotirukkiraarkalae; irathangalum, kuthiraikalum, arannaana pattanamum aayuthangalum ungalukku unntae. Now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fenced city also, and armor;

3 Ippothum intha nirupam ungalidaththil varumpothu neengal ungal aanndavanutaiya kumaararil uththamamum semmaiyumaayirukkiravanaip paarththu, avanai avan thakappanutaiya singaasanaththinmael vaiththu, ungal aanndavanutaiya kudumpaththukkaaka yuththampannnungal entu eluthiyirunthathu: Look even out the best and meetest of your master's sons, and set him on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house.

4 Avarkal mikavum payanthu: itho, iranndu raajaakkal avanukku munpaaka nirkavillaiyae; naangal eppati nirpom entarkal. But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?

5 Aakaiyaal aramanai visaarippukkaaranum, nakara visaarippukkaaranum, moopparum, pillaikalin visaarippukkaararum: naangal umathu atiyaarkal, neer engalukkuch solvathaiyellaam seyvom; naangal oruvaraiyum raajaavaakkuvathillai; umathu paarvaikkuch sammathiyaanathaich seyyum entu yekoovukkuch solliyanuppinaarkal. And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.

6 Appoluthu avan: avarkalukku iranndaam nirupaththai eluthinaan; athil: neengal en patchaththil sernthu en sollaik kaetpeerkalaanaal, ungal aanndavanutaiya kumaaranin thalaikalai vaangi, naalai innaeraththil yesrayaelukku ennidaththil vaarungal entu eluthiyirunthathu. Raajaavin kumaararaakiya elupathupaerum thangalai valarkkira pattanaththin periya manusharodu irunthaarkal. Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.

7 Intha nirupam avarkalidaththil vanthapothu, avarkal raajaavin kumaararaakiya elupathupaeraiyum pitiththu vetti, avarkal thalaikalaik kootaikalil vaiththu, yesrayaelilirukkira avanidaththirku anuppinaarkal. And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.

8 Anuppappatta aal vanthu: raajakumaararin thalaikalaik konnduvanthaarkal entu avanukku ariviththapothu, avan vitiyarkaalamattum avaikalai olimukavaasalil iranndu kuviyalaakak kuviththu vaiyungal entan. And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.

9 Maraுnaal kaalamae avan veliyae vanthu nintu, sakala janangalaiyum Nnokki: neengal neethimaankalallavaa? Itho, en aanndavanukku virothamaakak kattuppaadupannnni avanaik kontupottaேnae; aanaalum ivarkal ellaaraiyum kontavan yaar? And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?

10 Aathalaal Karththar aakaapin kudumpaththaarukku virothamaakach sonna karththarutaiya vaarththaikalil ontum tharaiyilae vilavillai enpathai arinthu kollungal; Karththar thammutaiya ooliyakkaaranaakiya eliyaavaikkonndu sonnathaich seythaar entan. Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.

11 Yesrayaelilum aakaapin kudumpaththaaril meethiyaana yaavaraiyum, avanukku iruntha ellaa manthirikalaiyum, avanaichchaேrntha manusharaiyum, avanutaiya aasaariyarkalaiyum, avanukku oruvaraiyum meethiyaaka vaikkaathapatikku yekoo kontupottan. So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolk, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

12 Pinpu avan elunthu samaariyaavukkup pokap purappattan; valiyilae avan aattumayir kaththarikkira maeypparin oor irukkum idaththukku vanthapothu, And he arose and departed, and came to Samaria. And as he was at the shearing house in the way,

13 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya akasiyaavin sakothararai angae kanndu, neengal yaar entu kaettan. Avarkal: naangal akasiyaavin sakotharar; naangal raajaavin pillaikalaiyum raajasthireeyin pillaikalaiyum vinavukiratharkup pokirom entarkal. Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are ye? And they answered, We are the brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen.

And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.

15 Avan avvidam vittup purappatta pothu, thanakku ethirppatta raekaapin kumaaranaakiya yonathaapaich santhiththu, avanai upasariththu: en iruthayam un iruthayaththotae semmaiyaay irukkirathupola un iruthayamum semmaiyaayirukkirathaa entu kaettan. Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.

And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.

And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.

25 Sarvaanga thakanapaliyittuth theerntha pothu, yekoo sevakaraiyum servaikkaararaiyum Nnokki: ullaepoy, avarkalai vettippodungal; oruvaraiyum veliyae vidavaenndaam entan; appatiyae pattayakkarukkinaal sevakarum servaikkaararum avarkalai vetti erinthupottu, paakaal kovilaich serntha sthalam engumpoy, And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.

27 Paakaalin silaiyaith thakarththu, paakaalin kovilai itiththu, athai innaalvaraikkum irukkirathupola malajalaathi idamaakkinaarkal. And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.

28 Ippatiyae yekoo paakaalai isravaelil iraathapatikku aliththuppottan. Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

29 Aanaalum peththaelilum thaannilum vaiththa porkantukkuttikalaal, isravaelaip paavanjaெyyappannnnina naepaaththin kumaaranaakiya yeropeyaamin paavangalai yekoo vittu vilakavillai. Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.
