2 Chronicles 14 in Tamil

1 அபியா தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவன் ஸ்தானத்திலே அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஆசா ராஜாவானான்; இவனுடைய நாட்களில் தேசம் பத்து வருஷமட்டும் அமரிக்கையாயிருநύதது. So Abijah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.

2 ஆசா தனύ தேவனாகிய கΰ்த்தரின் பார்வைக்கு நன்மையும் செம்மையுமானதைச் செய்தான். And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God:

3 அந்நிய தேவர்களின் பலிபீடங்களையும் மேடைகளையும் அகற்றி, சிலைகளை உடைத்து, விக்கிரகத்தோப்புகளை வெட்டி, For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:

4 தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைத் தேடவும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்படியும் கற்பனையின்படியும் செய்யவும் யூதாவுக்குக் கற்பித்து, And commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.

5 யூதாவுடைய எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களிலுமிருந்து மேடைகளையும் விக்கிரகங்களையும் அகற்றினான்; அவனுக்கு முன்பாக ராஜ்யம் அமரிக்கையாயிருந்தது. Also he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places and the images: and the kingdom was quiet before him.

6 கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதலைக் கட்டளையிட்டதினால், அந்த வருஷங்களில் அவனுக்கு விரோதமான யுத்தம் இல்லாதிருந்தது; தேசம் அமரிக்கையாயிருந்தபடியினால் யூதாவிலே அரணான பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டினான். And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.

7 அவன் யூதாவை நோக்கி: தேசம் நமக்கு முன்பாக அமர்ந்திருக்கையில், நாம் இந்தப் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டி, அவைகளுக்கு அலங்கங்கள், கோபுரங்கள், வாசல்கள் உண்டுபண்ணி, தாழ்ப்பாள் போட்டுப் பலப்படுத்துவோமாக; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைத் தேடினோம், தேடினபோது, சுற்றிலும் நமக்கு இளைப்பாறுதலைக் கட்டளையிட்டார் என்றான்; அப்படியே கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குக் காரியம் வாய்த்தது. Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.

8 யூதாவிலே பரிசையும் ஈட்டியும் பிடிக்கிற மூன்றுலட்சம்பேரும், பென்யமீனிலே கேடகம் பிடித்து வில்லை நாணேற்றுகிற இரண்டுலட்சத்து எண்பதினாயிரம்பேருமான சேனை ஆசாவுக்கு இருந்தது, இவர்களெல்லாரும் பராக்கிரமசாலிகள். And Asa had an army of men that bare targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty men of valor.

9 அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக எத்தியோப்பியனாகிய சேரா பத்துலட்சம்பேர்கள் சேர்ந்த சேனையோடும் முந்நூறு இரதங்களோடும் புறப்பட்டு மரேசாமட்டும் வந்தான். And there came out against them Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a thousand thousand, and three hundred chariots; and came unto Mareshah.

10 அப்பொழுது ஆசா அவனுக்கு எதிராகப் புறப்பட்டான்; மரேசாவுக்கு அடுத்த செப்பத்தா என்னும் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் யுத்தத்திற்கு அணிவகுத்து நின்றார்கள். Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.

11 ஆசா தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு: கர்த்தாவே, பலமுள்ளவனுக்காகிலும் பலனற்றவனுக்காகிலும் உதவிசெய்கிறது உமக்கு லேசானகாரியம்; எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, எங்களுக்குத் துணைநில்லும்; உம்மைச்சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தில் ஏராளமான இந்தக் கூட்டத்திற்கு எதிராக வந்தோம்; கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எங்கள் தேவன்; மனுஷன் உம்மை மேற்கொள்ளவிடாதேயும் என்றான். And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee.

12 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் அந்த எத்தியோப்பியரை ஆசாவுக்கும் யூதாவுக்கும்முன்பாக முறிய அடித்ததினால் எத்தியோப்பியர் ஓடிப்போனார்கள். So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled.

13 அவர்களை ஆசாவும் அவனோடிருந்த ஜனங்களும் கேரார்மட்டும் துரத்தினார்கள்; எத்தியோப்பியர் திரும்பப் பலங்கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு முறிந்து விழுந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தருக்கும் அவருடைய சேனைக்கும் முன்பாக நொறுங்கிப்போனார்கள்; அவர்கள் மிகுதியாகக் கொள்ளை அடித்து, And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.

14 கேராரின் சுற்றுப்பட்டணங்களையெல்லாம் முறிய அடித்தார்கள்; கர்த்தரால் அவர்களுக்குப் பயங்கரம் உண்டாயிற்று; அந்தப் பட்டணங்களையெல்லாம் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள், அவைகளில் கொள்ளை மிகுதியாய் அகப்பட்டது. And they smote all the cities round about Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they spoiled all the cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in them.

15 மிருகஜீவன்கள் இருந்த கொட்டாரங்களையும் அவர்கள் இடித்துப்போட்டு, திரளான ஆடுகளையும் ஒட்டகங்களையும் சாய்த்துக்கொண்டு எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பினார்கள். They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem.

1 Apiyaa than pithaakkalotae niththiraiyatainthapin, avanaith thaaveethin nakaraththil adakkampannnninaarkal; avan sthaanaththilae avan kumaaranaakiya aasaa raajaavaanaan; ivanutaiya naatkalil thaesam paththu varushamattum amarikkaiyaayirunaύthathu. So Abijah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.

2 Aasaa thanaύ thaevanaakiya kaΰ்ththarin paarvaikku nanmaiyum semmaiyumaanathaich seythaan. And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God:

3 Anniya thaevarkalin palipeedangalaiyum maetaikalaiyum akatti, silaikalai utaiththu, vikkirakaththoppukalai vetti, For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:

4 Thangal pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththaraith thaedavum, niyaayappiramaanaththinpatiyum karpanaiyinpatiyum seyyavum yoothaavukkuk karpiththu, And commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.

5 Yoothaavutaiya ellaap pattanangalilumirunthu maetaikalaiyum vikkirakangalaiyum akattinaan; avanukku munpaaka raajyam amarikkaiyaayirunthathu. Also he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places and the images: and the kingdom was quiet before him.

6 Karththar avanukku ilaippaaraுthalaik kattalaiyittathinaal, antha varushangalil avanukku virothamaana yuththam illaathirunthathu; thaesam amarikkaiyaayirunthapatiyinaal yoothaavilae arannaana pattanangalaik kattinaan. And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.

7 Avan yoothaavai Nnokki: thaesam namakku munpaaka amarnthirukkaiyil, naam inthap pattanangalaik katti, avaikalukku alangangal, kopurangal, vaasalkal unndupannnni, thaalppaal pottup palappaduththuvomaaka; nammutaiya thaevanaakiya karththaraith thaetinom, thaetinapothu, suttilum namakku ilaippaaraுthalaik kattalaiyittar entan; appatiyae kattinaarkal; avarkalukkuk kaariyam vaayththathu. Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. 8 Yoothaavilae parisaiyum eettiyum pitikkira moontulatchampaerum, penyameenilae kaedakam pitiththu villai naanneettaுkira iranndulatchaththu ennpathinaayirampaerumaana senai aasaavukku irunthathu, ivarkalellaarum paraakkiramasaalikal. And Asa had an army of men that bare targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty men of valor.

9 Avarkalukku virothamaaka eththiyoppiyanaakiya seraa paththulatchampaerkal serntha senaiyodum munnooraு irathangalodum purappattu maraesaamattum vanthaan. And there came out against them Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a thousand thousand, and three hundred chariots; and came unto Mareshah.

10 Appoluthu aasaa avanukku ethiraakap purappattan; maraesaavukku aduththa seppaththaa ennum pallaththaakkil yuththaththirku annivakuththu nintarkal. Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.

11 Aasaa than thaevanaakiya karththarai Nnokkik kooppittu: karththaavae, palamullavanukkaakilum palanattavanukkaakilum uthaviseykirathu umakku laesaanakaariyam; engal thaevanaakiya karththaavae, engalukkuth thunnainillum; ummaichchaாrnthu ummutaiya naamaththil aeraalamaana inthak koottaththirku ethiraaka vanthom; karththaavae, neer engal Dhevan; manushan ummai maerkollavidaathaeyum entan. And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee.

12 Appoluthu Karththar antha eththiyoppiyarai aasaavukkum yoothaavukkummunpaaka muriya atiththathinaal eththiyoppiyar otipponaarkal. So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled.

13 Avarkalai aasaavum avanotiruntha janangalum kaeraarmattum thuraththinaarkal; eththiyoppiyar thirumpap palangaொllaathapatikku murinthu vilunthaarkal; karththarukkum avarutaiya senaikkum munpaaka noraுngipponaarkal; avarkal mikuthiyaakak kollai atiththu, And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.

14 Kaeraarin suttaுppattanangalaiyellaam muriya atiththaarkal; karththaraal avarkalukkup payangaram unndaayittaு; anthap pattanangalaiyellaam kollaiyittarkal, avaikalil kollai mikuthiyaay akappattathu. And they smote all the cities round about Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they spoiled all the cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in them.

15 Mirukajeevankal iruntha kottarangalaiyum avarkal itiththuppottu, thiralaana aadukalaiyum ottakangalaiyum saayththukkonndu erusalaemukkuth thirumpinaarkal. They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem.
