1 தேவன் எழுந்தருளுவார், அவருடைய சத்துருக்கள் சிதறுண்டு, அவரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் அவருக்கு முன்பாக ஓடிப்போவார்கள். Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

2 புகை பறக்கடிக்கப்படுவதுபோல அவர்களைப் பறக்கடிப்பீர்; மெழுகு அக்கினிக்குமுன் உருகுவதுபோல துன்மார்க்கர் தேவனுக்குமுன் அழிவார்கள். As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

3 நீதிமான்களோ தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக மகிழ்ந்து களிகூர்ந்து, ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமடைவார்கள். But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

4 தேவனைப்பாடி, அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; வனாந்தரங்களில் ஏறிவருகிறவருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய நாமம் யேகோவா, அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் களிகூருங்கள். Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

5 தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருக்கிற தேவன், திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தகப்பனும், விதவைகளுக்கு நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார். A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

6 தேவன் தனிமையானவர்களுக்கு வீடுவாசல் ஏற்படுத்தி, கட்டுண்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்; துரோகிகளோ வறண்ட பூமியில் தங்குவார்கள். God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

7 தேவனே, நீர் உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு முன்னே சென்று அவாந்தரவெளியிலே நடந்துவருகையில்,(சேலா.) O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

8 பூமி அதிர்ந்தது; தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக வானமும் பொழிந்தது; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகவே இந்தச் சீனாய் மலையும் அசைந்தது. The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9 தேவனே, சம்பூரண மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணினீர்; இளைத்துப்போன உமது சுதந்தரத்தைத் திடப்படுத்தினீர். Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

10 உம்முடைய மந்தை அதிலே தங்கியிருந்தது; தேவனே உம்முடைய தயையினாலே ஏழைகளைப் பராமரிக்கிறீர். Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

11 ஆண்டவர் வசனம் தந்தார்; அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கூட்டம் மிகுதி. The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

12 சேனைகளின் ராஜாக்கள் தத்தளித்து ஓடினார்கள்; வீட்டிலிருந்த ஸ்திரீயானவள் கொள்ளைப்பொருளைப் பங்கிட்டாள். Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

13 நீங்கள் அடுப்பினடியில் கிடந்தவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், வெள்ளியால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட புறாச்சிறகுகள்போலவும், பசும்பொன் நிறமாகிய அதின் இறகுகளின் சாயலாகவும் இருப்பீர்கள். Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

14 சர்வவல்லவர் அதில் ராஜாக்களைச் சிதறடித்தபோது, அது சல்மோன் மலையின் உறைந்த மழைபோல் வெண்மையாயிற்று. When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

15 தேவபர்வதம் பாசான் பர்வதம் போலிருக்கிறது; பாசான் பர்வதம் உயர்ந்த சிகரங்களுள்ளது. The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

16 உயர்ந்த சிகரமுள்ள பர்வதங்களே, ஏன் துள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; இந்தப் பர்வதத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்க தேவன் விரும்பினார்; ஆம், கர்த்தர் இதிலே என்றென்றைக்கும் வாசமாயிருப்பார். Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

17 தேவனுடைய இரதங்கள் பதினாயிரங்களும், ஆயிரமாயிரங்களுமாயிருக்கிறது, ஆண்டவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமான சீனாயிலிருந்தவண்னாமாய் அவைகளுக்குள் இருக்கிறார். The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

18 தேவரீர் உன்னதத்திற்கு ஏறி, சிறைப்பட்டவர்களைச் சிறையாக்கிக் கொண்டுபோனீர்; தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷருக்குள் வாசம்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, துரோகிகளாகிய மனுஷர்களுக்காகவும் வரங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர். Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

19 எந்நாளும் ஆண்டவருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; நம்மேல் பாரஞ்சுமத்தினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சிக்கிற தேவன் அவரே. (சேலா.) Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

20 நம்முடைய தேவன் இரட்சிப்பை அருளும் தேவனாயிருக்கிறார்; ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தரால் மரணத்திற்கு நீங்கும் வழிகளுண்டு. He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

21 மெய்யாகவே தேவன் தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் சிரசையும், தன் அக்கிரமங்களில் துணிந்து நடக்கிறவனுடைய மயிருள்ள உச்சந்தலையையும் உடைப்பார். But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

22 உன் கால்கள் சத்துருக்களின் இரத்தத்தில் பதியும்படியாகவும், உன் நாய்களின் நாவு அதை நக்கும்படியாகவும், The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

23 என்னுடைய ஜனத்தைப் பாசானிலிருந்து திரும்ப அழைத்துவருவேன்; அதைச் சமுத்திர ஆழங்களிலிருந்தும் திரும்ப அழைத்துவருவேன் என்று ஆண்டவர் சொன்னார். That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

24 தேவனே உம்முடைய நடைகளைக் கண்டார்கள்; என் தேவனும் என் ராஜாவும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே நடந்துவருகிற நடைகளையே கண்டார்கள். They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

25 முன்னாகப் பாடுகிறவர்களும் பின்னாக வீணைகளை வாசிக்கிறவர்களும், சுற்றிலும் தம்புரு வாசிக்கிற கன்னிகைகளும் நடந்தார்கள். The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

26 இஸ்ரவேலின் ஊற்றிலிருந்து தோன்றினவர்களே, சபைகளின் நடுவே ஆண்டவராகிய தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரியுங்கள். Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

27 அங்கே அவர்களை ஆளுகிற சின்ன பென்யமீனும், யூதாவின் பிரபுக்களும் அவர்கள் கூட்டமும், செபுலோனின் பிரபுக்களும், நப்தலியின் பிரபுக்களும் உண்டு. There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

28 உன் தேவன் உனக்குப் பலத்தைக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; தேவனே நீர் எங்கள்நிமித்தம் உண்டுபண்ணினதைத் திடப்படுத்தும். Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

29 எருசலேமிலுள்ள உம்முடைய ஆலயத்தினிமித்தம், ராஜாக்கள் உமக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவருவார்கள். Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

30 நாணலிலுள்ள மிருககூட்டத்தையும், ஜனங்களாகிய கன்றுகளோடுகூட ரிஷப கூட்டத்தையும் அதட்டும்; ஒவ்வொருவனும் வெள்ளிப்பணங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து பணிந்துகொள்ளுவான்; யுத்தங்களில் பிரியப்படுகிற ஜனங்களைச் சிதறடிப்பார். Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

31 பிரபுக்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருவார்கள்; எத்தியோப்பியா தேவனை நோக்கி கையெடுக்கத் தீவிரிக்கும். Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

32 பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களே, தேவனைப் பாடி, ஆண்டவரைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுங்கள். (சேலா.) Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

33 ஆதிமுதலாயிருக்கிற வானாதி வானங்களின்மேல் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறவரைப் பாடுங்கள், இதோ, தமது சத்தத்தைப் பலத்த சத்தமாய் முழங்கப்பண்ணுகிறார். To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

34 தேவனுடைய வல்லமையைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; அவருடைய மகிமை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும், அவருடைய வல்லமை மேகமண்டலங்களிலும் உள்ளது, Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

1 Dhevan eluntharuluvaar, avarutaiya saththurukkal sitharaுnndu, avaraip pakaikkiravarkal avarukku munpaaka otippovaarkal. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

2 Pukai parakkatikkappaduvathupola avarkalaip parakkatippeer; meluku akkinikkumun urukuvathupola thunmaarkkar thaevanukkumun alivaarkal. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

3 Neethimaankalo thaevanukkumunpaaka makilnthu kalikoornthu, aanantha santhoshamataivaarkal. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

4 Thaevanaippaati, avarutaiya naamaththaik geerththanampannnungal; vanaantharangalil aerivarukiravarukku valiyai aayaththappaduththungal; avarutaiya naamam yaekovaa, avarukku munpaakak kalikoorungal. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

5 Thammutaiya Parisuththa vaasasthalaththilirukkira Dhevan, thikkatta pillaikalukkuth thakappanum, vithavaikalukku niyaayam visaarikkiravarumaayirukkiraar. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

6 Dhevan thanimaiyaanavarkalukku veeduvaasal aerpaduththi, kattunndavarkalai viduthalaiyaakkukiraar; thurokikalo varannda poomiyil thanguvaarkal. God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

8 Poomi athirnthathu; thaevanaakiya umakku munpaaka vaanamum polinthathu; isravaelin thaevanaayirukkira thaevanukku munpaakavae inthach seenaay malaiyum asainthathu. 9 Thaevanae, sampoorana malaiyaip peyyappannnnineer; ilaiththuppona umathu suthantharaththaith thidappaduththineer. Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

10 Ummutaiya manthai athilae thangiyirunthathu; thaevanae ummutaiya thayaiyinaalae aelaikalaip paraamarikkireer. Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

11 Aanndavar vasanam thanthaar; athaip pirasiththappaduththukiravarkalin koottam mikuthi. The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

12 Senaikalin raajaakkal thaththaliththu otinaarkal; veettiliruntha sthireeyaanaval kollaipporulaip pangittal. Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

13 Neengal aduppinatiyil kidanthavarkalaayirunthaalum, velliyaal alangarikkappatta puraachchirakukalpolavum, pasumpon niramaakiya athin irakukalin saayalaakavum iruppeerkal. Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

14 Sarvavallavar athil raajaakkalaich sitharatiththapothu, athu salmon malaiyin uraintha malaipol vennmaiyaayittaு. When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

16 Uyarntha sikaramulla parvathangalae, aen thullukireerkal; inthap parvathaththil vaasamaayirukka Dhevan virumpinaar; aam, Karththar ithilae ententaikkum vaasamaayiruppaar. Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

17 Thaevanutaiya irathangal pathinaayirangalum, aayiramaayirangalumaayirukkirathu, aanndavar Parisuththa sthalamaana seenaayilirunthavannnaamaay avaikalukkul irukkiraar. The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

18 Thaevareer unnathaththirku aeri, siraippattavarkalaich siraiyaakkik konnduponeer; thaevanaakiya Karththar manusharukkul vaasampannnumporuttu, thurokikalaakiya manusharkalukkaakavum varangalaip pettaுkkonnteer. Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

19 Ennaalum aanndavarukku sthoththiramunndaavathaaka; nammael paaranjumaththinaalum nammai iratchikkira Dhevan avarae. (selaa.) Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

20 Nammutaiya Dhevan iratchippai arulum thaevanaayirukkiraar; aanndavaraakiya karththaraal maranaththirku neengum valikalunndu. He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

21 Meyyaakavae Dhevan thammutaiya saththurukkalin sirasaiyum, than akkiramangalil thunninthu nadakkiravanutaiya mayirulla uchchanthalaiyaiyum utaippaar. But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

22 Un kaalkal saththurukkalin iraththaththil pathiyumpatiyaakavum, un naaykalin naavu athai nakkumpatiyaakavum, The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

23 Ennutaiya janaththaip paasaanilirunthu thirumpa alaiththuvaruvaen; athaich samuththira aalangalilirunthum thirumpa alaiththuvaruvaen entu aanndavar sonnaar. That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

24 Thaevanae ummutaiya nataikalaik kanndaarkal; en thaevanum en raajaavum Parisuththa sthalaththilae nadanthuvarukira nataikalaiyae kanndaarkal. They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

25 Munnaakap paadukiravarkalum pinnaaka veennaikalai vaasikkiravarkalum, suttilum thampuru vaasikkira kannikaikalum nadanthaarkal. The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

26 Isravaelin oottilirunthu thontinavarkalae, Sabaikalin naduvae aanndavaraakiya thaevanai sthoththiriyungal. Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

27 Angae avarkalai aalukira sinna penyameenum, yoothaavin pirapukkalum avarkal koottamum, sepulonin pirapukkalum, napthaliyin pirapukkalum unndu. There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

28 Un Dhevan unakkup palaththaik kattalaiyittar; thaevanae neer engalnimiththam unndupannnninathaith thidappaduththum. Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

29 Erusalaemilulla ummutaiya aalayaththinimiththam, raajaakkal umakkuk kaannikkaikalaik konnduvaruvaarkal. Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

30 Naanalilulla mirukakoottaththaiyum, janangalaakiya kantukalodukooda rishapa koottaththaiyum athattum; ovvoruvanum vellippanangalaik konnduvanthu panninthukolluvaan; yuththangalil piriyappadukira janangalaich sitharatippaar. Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

31 Pirapukkal ekipthilirunthu varuvaarkal; eththiyoppiyaa thaevanai Nnokki kaiyedukkath theevirikkum. Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

32 Poomiyin raajyangalae, thaevanaip paati, aanndavaraik geerththanam pannnungal. (selaa.) Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

33 Aathimuthalaayirukkira vaanaathi vaanangalinmael eluntharuliyirukkiravaraip paadungal, itho, thamathu saththaththaip palaththa saththamaay mulangappannnukiraar. To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

34 Thaevanutaiya vallamaiyaip pirasiththappaduththungal; avarutaiya makimai isravaelinmaelum, avarutaiya vallamai maekamanndalangalilum ullathu, Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
