இனி ஒருவன் தன் அயலானையும், ஒருவன் தன் சகோதரனையும் நோக்கி கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள் என்று போதிப்பதில்லை; அவர்களில் சிறியவன்முதல் பெரியவன்மட்டும், எல்லாரும் என்னை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நான் அவர்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை மன்னித்து, அவர்கள் பாவங்களை இனி நினையாதிருப்பேன்.

ஜனங்கள் தமது அயலவர்க்கும் உறவினர்க்கும் கர்த்தரை அறிந்துக்கொள்ள கற்பிக்கமாட்டார்கள். ஏனென்றால், முக்கியத்துவம் குறைந்த ஜனங்களிலிருந்து முக்கியத்துவம் மிகுந்த ஜனங்கள் வரை என்னை அறிவர்” என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். “நான் அவர்களை அவர்கள் செய்த தீயவற்றுக்காக மன்னிப்பேன். நான் அவர்களது பாவங்களை நினைவுக்கொள்ளமாட்டேன்.”
