அதையல்ல, அதிலும் மேன்மையான பரமதேசத்தையே விரும்பினார்கள்; ஆகையால் தேவன் அவர்களுடைய தேவனென்னப்பட வெட்கப்படுகிறதில்லை; அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நகரத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினாரே.

அதையல்ல, அதைவிட மேன்மையான பரமதேசத்தையே விரும்பினார்கள்; ஆகவே, தேவன் அவர்களுடைய தேவன் என்று சொல்லப்பட வெட்கப்படுவது இல்லை; அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நகரத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினாரே.

ஆனால் அவர்கள் பரலோகம் என்னும் சிறப்பான நாட்டிற்குப் போகக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள். எனவே தேவன் தன்னை அவர்களது தேவன் என்று அழைத்துக்கொள்வதில் வெட்கப்படுவதில்லை. தேவன் அவர்களுக்காக ஒரு நகரத்தை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறார்.
