Deuteronomy 6 in Tamil

1 நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம், நீயும் உன் குமாரனும் உன் குமாரத்தியும், நான் உனக்கு விதிக்கிற அவருடைய எல்லாக் கற்பனைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறதினாலே உன் வாழ்நாட்கள் நீடித்திருக்கும்படி, Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

2 நீங்கள் சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்திலே கைக்கொள்ளவதற்காக, உங்களுக்குப் போதிக்கவேண்டும் என்று உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் கற்பித்த கற்பனைகளும் கட்டளைகளும் நியாயங்களும் இவைகளே. That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

3 இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ நன்றாயிருப்பதற்கும், உன் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குச் சொன்னபடி, பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசத்தில் நீ மிகவும் விருத்தியடைவதற்கும், அவைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவைகளின்படி செய்யச் சாவதானமாயிரு. Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

4 இஸ்ரவேலே, கேள்: நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஒருவரே கர்த்தர். Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

5 நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும், உன் முழுப் பலத்தோடும் அன்புகூருவாயாக. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 இன்று நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிற இந்த வார்த்தைகளை உன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கக்கடவது. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7 நீ அவைகளை உன் பிள்ளைகளுக்குக் கருத்தாய்ப் போதித்து, நீ உன் வீட்டில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறபோதும், வழியில் நடக்கிறபோதும், படுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறபோதும், எழுந்திருக்கிறபோதும் அவைகளைக் குறித்துப் பேசி, And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

8 அவைகளை உன் கையின்மேல் அடையாளமாகக் கட்டிக்கொள்வாயாக; அவைகள் உன் கண்களுக்கு நடுவே ஞாபகக்குறியாய் இருக்கக்கடவது. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

9 அவைகளை உன் வீட்டு நிலைகளிலும், உன் வாசல்களிலும் எழுதுவாயாக. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

10 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களாகிய உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தில் உன்னைப் பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணும்போதும், நீ கட்டாத வசதியான பெரிய பட்டணங்களையும், And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

11 நீ நிரப்பாத சகல நல்ல வஸ்துக்களாலும் நிரம்பிய வீடுகளையும், நீ வெட்டாமல் வெட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிற துரவுகளையும், நீ நடாத திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களையும் ஒலிவத்தோப்புகளையும், அவர் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பதினால், நீ சாப்பிட்டுத் திர்ப்தியாகும்போதும், And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

12 நீ அடிமைப்பட்டிருந்த வீடாகிய எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து உன்னைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணின கர்த்தரை மறவாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு. Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவருக்கே ஆராதனைசெய்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தைக்கொண்டே ஆணையிடுவாயாக. Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

14 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் உன்மேல் மூண்டு உன்னைப் பூமியில் வைக்காமல் அழித்துப்போடாதபடிக்கு, உங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற ஜனங்களின் தேவர்களாகிய அந்நிய தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றாதிருப்பீர்களாக. Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

15 உன் நடுவிலிருக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எரிச்சலுள்ள தேவனாயிருக்கிறாரே. (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

16 நீங்கள் மாசாவிலே செய்ததுபோல, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பரீட்சை பாராதிருப்பீர்களாக. Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

17 உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குக் கற்பித்த அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் அவருடைய சாட்சிகளையும் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் கருத்தாய்க் கைக்கொள்ளுவீர்களாக. Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.

18 நீ நன்றாயிருக்கிறதற்கும், கர்த்தர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த நல்ல தேசத்தில் நீ பிரவேசித்து, அதைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதற்கும், And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers.

19 கர்த்தர் தாம் சொன்னபடி, உன் சத்துருக்களையெல்லாம் உன் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடுவதற்கும், நீ கர்த்தருடைய பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையும் நன்மையுமாய் இருக்கிறதைச் செய்வாயாக. To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.

20 நாளைக்கு உன் புத்திரன்; நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட இந்தச் சாட்சிகளும் கட்டளைகளும் நியாயங்களும் என்ன என்று உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்டால்; And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

21 நீ உன் புத்திரனை நோக்கி: நாங்கள் எகிப்திலே பார்வோனுக்கு அடிமைகளாயிருந்தோம்; கர்த்தர் பலத்த கையினாலே எங்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினார். Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

22 கர்த்தர் எங்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக, எகிப்தின்மேலும் பார்வோன்மேலும் அவன் குடும்பம் அனைத்தின்மேலும் கொடிதான பெரிய அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் விளங்கப்பண்ணி, And the LORD showed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

23 தாம் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த தேசத்துக்கு எங்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அதை நமக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி எங்களை அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினார். And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

24 இந்நாளில் இருக்கிறதுபோல, நம்மை அவர் உயிரோடே காப்பதற்கும், எந்நாளும் நன்றாயிருக்கிறதற்கும், நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து இந்த எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளின்படியேயும் செய்யக் கர்த்தர் நமக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

25 நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நாம் அவர் சமுகத்தில் இந்த எல்லாக்கட்டளைகளின்படியும் செய்யச் சாவதானமாயிருந்தால், நமக்கு நீதியாயிருக்கும் என்று சொல்வாயாக. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

1 Nee un thaevanaakiya karththarukkup payanthu, uyirotirukkum naalellaam, neeyum un kumaaranum un kumaaraththiyum, naan unakku vithikkira avarutaiya ellaak karpanaikalaiyum kattalaikalaiyum kaikkollukirathinaalae un vaalnaatkal neetiththirukkumpati, Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

2 Neengal suthantharikkappokira thaesaththilae kaikkollavatharkaaka, ungalukkup pothikkavaenndum entu ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar karpiththa karpanaikalum kattalaikalum niyaayangalum ivaikalae. That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

3 Isravaelae, nee nantayiruppatharkum, un pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuch sonnapati, paalum thaenum odukira thaesaththil nee mikavum viruththiyataivatharkum, avaikalukkuch sevikoduththu, avaikalinpati seyyach saavathaanamaayiru. Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

4 Isravaelae, kael: nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar oruvarae Karththar. Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

5 Nee un thaevanaakiya karththaridaththil un mulu iruthayaththodum, un mulu aaththumaavodum, un mulup palaththodum anpukooruvaayaaka. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 Intu naan unakkuk kattalaiyidukira intha vaarththaikalai un iruthayaththil irukkakkadavathu. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7 Nee avaikalai un pillaikalukkuk karuththaayp pothiththu, nee un veettil utkaarnthirukkirapothum, valiyil nadakkirapothum, paduththukkollukirapothum, elunthirukkirapothum avaikalaik kuriththup paesi, And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

8 Avaikalai un kaiyinmael ataiyaalamaakak kattikkolvaayaaka; avaikal un kannkalukku naduvae njaapakakkuriyaay irukkakkadavathu. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

9 Avaikalai un veettu nilaikalilum, un vaasalkalilum eluthuvaayaaka. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

10 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk koduppaen entu Abraham eesaakku yaakkopu enpavarkalaakiya un pithaakkalukku aannaiyittuk koduththa thaesaththil unnaip piravaesikkappannnumpothum, nee kattatha vasathiyaana periya pattanangalaiyum, And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

11 Nee nirappaatha sakala nalla vasthukkalaalum nirampiya veedukalaiyum, nee vettamal vettappattirukkira thuravukalaiyum, nee nadaatha thiraatchaththottangalaiyum olivaththoppukalaiyum, avar unakkuk koduppathinaal, nee saappittuth thirpthiyaakumpothum, And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

12 Nee atimaippattiruntha veedaakiya ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu unnaip purappadappannnnina karththarai maravaathapatikku echcharikkaiyaayiru. Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13 Un thaevanaakiya karththarukkup payanthu, avarukkae aaraathanaiseythu, avarutaiya naamaththaikkonntae aannaiyiduvaayaaka. Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

14 Un thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya kopam unmael moonndu unnaip poomiyil vaikkaamal aliththuppodaathapatikku, ungalaich suttilum irukkira janangalin thaevarkalaakiya anniya thaevarkalaip pinpattaாthiruppeerkalaaka. Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

15 Un naduvilirukkira un thaevanaakiya Karththar erichchalulla thaevanaayirukkiraarae. (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

16 Neengal maasaavilae seythathupola, ungal thaevanaakiya karththaraip pareetchaை paaraathiruppeerkalaaka. Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

17 Ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar ungalukkuk karpiththa avarutaiya karpanaikalaiyum avarutaiya saatchikalaiyum avarutaiya kattalaikalaiyum karuththaayk kaikkolluveerkalaaka. Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.

18 Nee nantayirukkiratharkum, Karththar un pithaakkalukku aannaiyittukkoduththa nalla thaesaththil nee piravaesiththu, athaich suthantharippatharkum, And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers.

19 Karththar thaam sonnapati, un saththurukkalaiyellaam un mukaththirku munpaakath thuraththividuvatharkum, nee karththarutaiya paarvaikkuch semmaiyum nanmaiyumaay irukkirathaich seyvaayaaka. To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.

20 Naalaikku un puththiran; nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar ungalukkuk kattalaiyitta inthach saatchikalum kattalaikalum niyaayangalum enna entu unnidaththil kaettal; And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

21 Nee un puththiranai Nnokki: naangal ekipthilae paarvonukku atimaikalaayirunthom; Karththar palaththa kaiyinaalae engalai ekipthilirunthu purappadappannnninaar. Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

22 Karththar engal kannkalukku munpaaka, ekipthinmaelum paarvonmaelum avan kudumpam anaiththinmaelum kotithaana periya ataiyaalangalaiyum arputhangalaiyum vilangappannnni, And the LORD showed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

23 Thaam nammutaiya pithaakkalukku aannaiyittukkoduththa thaesaththukku engalai alaiththukkonndupoy, athai namakkuk kodukkumpati engalai avvidaththilirunthu purappadappannnninaar. And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

24 Innaalil irukkirathupola, nammai avar uyirotae kaappatharkum, ennaalum nantayirukkiratharkum, nammutaiya thaevanaakiya karththarukkup payanthu intha ellaak kattalaikalinpatiyaeyum seyyak Karththar namakkuk kattalaiyittar. And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

25 Nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar namakkuk kattalaiyittapatiyae naam avar samukaththil intha ellaakkattalaikalinpatiyum seyyach saavathaanamaayirunthaal, namakku neethiyaayirukkum entu solvaayaaka. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
