Daniel 10 in Tamil

1 பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கோரேஸ் அரசாண்ட மூன்றாம் வருஷத்திலே பெல்தெஷாத்சார் என்று பெயரிடப்பட்ட தானியேலுக்கு ஒரு காரியம் வெளியாக்கப்பட்டது; அந்தக் காரியம் சத்தியமும் நீடிய யுத்தத்துக்கு அடுத்ததுமாயிருக்கிறது; அந்தக் காரியத்தை அவன் கவனித்து, தரிசனத்தின் பொருளை அறிந்துகொண்டான். In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

2 அந்த நாட்களில் தானியேலாகிய நான் மூன்று வாரமுழுவதும் துக்கித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

3 அந்த மூன்று வாரங்களாகிய நாட்கள் நிறைவேறுமட்டும் ருசிகரமான அப்பத்தை நான் புசிக்கவுமில்லை, இறைச்சியும் திராட்சரசமும் என் வாய்க்குள் போகவுமில்லை. நான் பரிமளதைலம் பூசிக்கொள்ளவுமில்லை. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

4 முதலாம் மாதம் இருபத்து நாலாந்தேதியிலே நான் இதெக்கேல் என்னும் பெரிய ஆற்றங்கரையில் இருந்து, And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

5 என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கையில், சணல் வஸ்திரந்தரித்து, தமது அரையில் ஊப்பாசின் தங்கக்கச்சையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிற ஒரு புருஷனைக் கண்டேன். Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

6 அவருடைய சரீரம் படிகப்பச்சையைப்போலவும் அவருடைய முகம் மின்னனலின் பிரகாசத்தைப்போலவும், அவருடைய கண்கள் எரிகிற தீபங்களைப்போலவும் அவருடைய புயங்களும் அவருடைய கால்களும் துலக்கப்பட்ட வெண்கல நிறத்தைப்போலவும், அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளின் சத்தம் ஜனக்கூட்டத்தின் ஆரவாரத்தைப்போலவும் இருந்தது. His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

7 தானியேலாகிய நான் மாத்திரம் அந்தத் தரிசனத்தைக் கண்டேன்; என்னோடே இருந்த மனுஷர் அந்தத்தரிசனத்தைக் காணவில்லை; அவர்கள் மிகவும் நடுநடுங்கி ஓடி ஒளித்துக்கொண்டார்கள். And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

8 நான் தனித்துவிடப்பட்டு அந்தப் பெரிய தரிசனத்தைக் கண்டேன்; என் பெலனெல்லாம் போயிற்று; என் உருவம் மாறி வாடிப்போயிற்று; திடனற்றுப்போனேன். Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

9 அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்; அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளின் சத்தத்தை நான் கேட்கும்போது, நான் முகங்கவிழ்ந்து, நித்திரை போகிறவனாய்த் தரையிலே முகங்குப்புற விழுந்துகிடந்தேன். Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

10 இதோ, ஒருவன் கை என்னைத்தொட்டு, என் முழங்கால்களும் என் உள்ளங்கைகளும் தரையை ஊன்றியிருக்க என்னைத் தூக்கிவைத்தது. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

11 அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: பிரியமான புருஷனாகிய தானியேலே, நான் இப்போது உன்னிடத்திற்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டு வந்தேன்; ஆதலால், நான் உமக்குச் சொல்லும் வார்த்தைகளின்பேரில் நீ கவனமாயிருந்து, கால் ஊன்றி நில் என்றான்; இந்த வார்த்தையை அவன் என்னிடத்தில் சொல்லுகையில் நடுக்கத்தோடே எழுந்து நின்றேன். And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

12 அப்பொழுது அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: தானியேலே, பயப்படாதே; நீ அறிவை அடைகிறதற்கும், உன்னை உன்னுடைய தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகச் சிறுமைப்படுத்துகிறதற்கும், உன் மனதைச் செலுத்தின முதல்நாள் துவக்கி உன் வார்த்தைகள் கேட்கப்பட்டது; உன் வார்த்தைகளினிமித்தம் நான் வந்தேன். Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

13 பெர்சியா ராஜ்யத்தின் அதிபதி இருபத்தாரு நாள்மட்டும் என்னோடே எதிர்த்து நின்றான்; ஆனாலும் பிரதான அதிபதிகளில் ஒருவனாகிய மிகாவேல் எனக்கு உதவியாக வந்தான்; ஆதலால் நான் அங்கே பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாக்களிடத்தில் தரித்திருந்தேன். But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

14 இப்போதும் கடைசிநாட்களில் உன் ஜனங்களுக்குச் சம்பவிப்பதை உனக்குத் தெரியப்பண்ணும்படிக்கு வந்தேன்; இந்தத் தரிசனம் நிறைவேற இன்னும் நாள் செல்லும் என்றான். Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

15 அவன் இந்த வார்த்தைகளை என்னோடே சொல்லுகையில், நான் தலைகவிழ்ந்து, தரையை நோக்கி, பேச்சற்றுப்போனேன். And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

16 அப்பொழுது மனுபுத்திரரின் சாயலாகிய ஒருவன் என் உதடுகளைத்தொட்டான்; உடனே நான் என் வாயைத் திறந்து பேசி, எனக்கு எதிரே நின்றவனை நோக்கி: என் ஆண்டவனே, தரிசனத்தினால் என் மூட்டுகள் புரண்டன, பெலனற்றுப்போனேன். And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

17 ஆகையால் என் ஆண்டவனுடைய அடியேன் என் ஆண்டவனோடே பேசக்கூடுவதெப்படி? இனி என்னில் பெலனில்லை, என்னில் மூச்சுமில்லை என்றேன். For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

18 அப்பொழுது மனுஷ ரூபமான ஒருவன் திரும்ப என்னைத் தொட்டு, என்னைத் திடப்படுத்தி, Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

19 பிரியமான புருஷனே, பயப்படாதே, உனக்குச் சமாதானமுண்டாவதாக, திடங்கொள், திடங்கொள் என்றான்; இப்படி அவன் என்னோடே பேசுகையில் நான் திடங்கொண்டு அவனை நோக்கி: என் ஆண்டவன் பேசுவாராக; என்னைத் திடப்படுத்தினீரே என்றேன். And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

20 அப்பொழுது அவன்: நான் உன்னிடத்திற்கு வந்த காரணம் இன்னதென்று உனக்குத் தெரியுமா? இப்போது நான் பெர்சியாவின் பிரபுவோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணத் திரும்பிப்போகிறேன்; நான் போனபின்பு, கிரேக்கு தேசத்தின் அதிபதி வருவான். Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

21 சத்திய எழுத்திலே கண்டிருக்கிறதை நான் உனக்குத் தெரிவிப்பேன்; உங்கள் அதிபதியாகிய மிகாவேலைத்தவிர என்னோடேகூட அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பலங்கொள்கிற வேறொருவரும் இல்லை. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

1 Persiyaavin raajaavaakiya koraes arasaannda moontam varushaththilae peltheshaathsaar entu peyaridappatta thaaniyaelukku oru kaariyam veliyaakkappattathu; anthak kaariyam saththiyamum neetiya yuththaththukku aduththathumaayirukkirathu; anthak kaariyaththai avan kavaniththu, tharisanaththin porulai arinthukonndaan. In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

2 Antha naatkalil thaaniyaelaakiya naan moontu vaaramuluvathum thukkiththukkonntirunthaen. In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

3 Antha moontu vaarangalaakiya naatkal niraivaeraுmattum rusikaramaana appaththai naan pusikkavumillai, iraichchiyum thiraatcharasamum en vaaykkul pokavumillai. Naan parimalathailam poosikkollavumillai. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

4 Muthalaam maatham irupaththu naalaanthaethiyilae naan ithekkael ennum periya aattangaraiyil irunthu, And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

5 En kannkalai aeraெdukkaiyil, sanal vasthiranthariththu, thamathu araiyil ooppaasin thangakkachchaைyaik kattikkonntirukkira oru purushanaik kanntaen. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

6 Avarutaiya sareeram patikappachchaைyaippolavum avarutaiya mukam minnanalin pirakaasaththaippolavum, avarutaiya kannkal erikira theepangalaippolavum avarutaiya puyangalum avarutaiya kaalkalum thulakkappatta vennkala niraththaippolavum, avarutaiya vaarththaikalin saththam janakkoottaththin aaravaaraththaippolavum irunthathu. 7 Thaaniyaelaakiya naan maaththiram anthath tharisanaththaik kanntaen; ennotae iruntha manushar anthaththarisanaththaik kaanavillai; avarkal mikavum nadunadungi oti oliththukkonndaarkal. And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

8 Naan thaniththuvidappattu anthap periya tharisanaththaik kanntaen; en pelanellaam poyittaு; en uruvam maari vaatippoyittaு; thidanattaுpponaen. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

9 Avarutaiya vaarththaikalin saththaththaik kaettaேn; avarutaiya vaarththaikalin saththaththai naan kaetkumpothu, naan mukangavilnthu, niththirai pokiravanaayth tharaiyilae mukanguppura vilunthukidanthaen. Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

10 Itho, oruvan kai ennaiththottu, en mulangaalkalum en ullangaikalum tharaiyai oontiyirukka ennaith thookkivaiththathu. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

11 Avan ennai Nnokki: piriyamaana purushanaakiya thaaniyaelae, naan ippothu unnidaththirku anuppappattu vanthaen; aathalaal, naan umakkuch sollum vaarththaikalinpaeril nee kavanamaayirunthu, kaal oonti nil entan; intha vaarththaiyai avan ennidaththil sollukaiyil nadukkaththotae elunthu ninten. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

12 Appoluthu avan ennai Nnokki: thaaniyaelae, payappadaathae; nee arivai ataikiratharkum, unnai unnutaiya thaevanukku munpaakach siraுmaippaduththukiratharkum, un manathaich seluththina muthalnaal thuvakki un vaarththaikal kaetkappattathu; un vaarththaikalinimiththam naan vanthaen. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

13 Persiyaa raajyaththin athipathi irupaththaaru naalmattum ennotae ethirththu nintan; aanaalum pirathaana athipathikalil oruvanaakiya mikaavael enakku uthaviyaaka vanthaan; aathalaal naan angae persiyaavin raajaakkalidaththil thariththirunthaen. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

14 Ippothum kataisinaatkalil un janangalukkuch sampavippathai unakkuth theriyappannnumpatikku vanthaen; inthath tharisanam niraivaera innum naal sellum entan. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

15 Avan intha vaarththaikalai ennotae sollukaiyil, naan thalaikavilnthu, tharaiyai Nnokki, paechchattaுpponaen. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

16 Appoluthu manupuththirarin saayalaakiya oruvan en uthadukalaiththottan; udanae naan en vaayaith thiranthu paesi, enakku ethirae nintavanai Nnokki: en aanndavanae, tharisanaththinaal en moottukal puranndana, pelanattaுpponaen. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

17 Aakaiyaal en aanndavanutaiya atiyaen en aanndavanotae paesakkooduvatheppati? Ini ennil pelanillai, ennil moochchumillai enten. For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

18 Appoluthu manusha roopamaana oruvan thirumpa ennaith thottu, ennaith thidappaduththi, Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

19 Piriyamaana purushanae, payappadaathae, unakkuch samaathaanamunndaavathaaka, thidangaொl, thidangaொl entan; ippati avan ennotae paesukaiyil naan thidangaொnndu avanai Nnokki: en aanndavan paesuvaaraaka; ennaith thidappaduththineerae enten. And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

20 Appoluthu avan: naan unnidaththirku vantha kaaranam innathentu unakkuth theriyumaa? Ippothu naan persiyaavin pirapuvotae yuththampannnath thirumpippokiraேn; naan ponapinpu, kiraekku thaesaththin athipathi varuvaan. Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

21 Saththiya eluththilae kanntirukkirathai naan unakkuth therivippaen; ungal athipathiyaakiya mikaavaelaiththavira ennotaekooda avarkalukku virothamaayp palangaொlkira vaeroruvarum illai. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
