பிரியமான புருஷனே, பயப்படாதே, உனக்குச் சமாதானமுண்டாவதாக, திடங்கொள், திடங்கொள் என்றான்; இப்படி அவன் என்னோடே பேசுகையில் நான் திடங்கொண்டு அவனை நோக்கி: என் ஆண்டவன் பேசுவாராக; என்னைத் திடப்படுத்தினீரே என்றேன்.

பிரியமானவனே, பயப்படாதே; உனக்குச் சமாதானமுண்டாவதாக, திடன்கொள், திடன்கொள் என்றான்; இப்படி அவன் என்னோடே பேசும்போது நான் திடன்கொண்டு அவனை நோக்கி: என் ஆண்டவன் பேசுவாராக; என்னைத் திடப்படுத்தினீரே என்றேன்.

பிறகு அவன் என்னிடம், “தானியேலே, பயப்படாதே தேவன் உன்னை மிகவும் நேசிக்கிறார். சமாதானம் உன்னுடன் இருப்பதாக. இப்போதும் திடங்கொள்” என்றான். அவன் என்னோடு பேசியபோது நான் பலமடைந்தேன். பிறகு நான் “ஐயா, நீர் எனக்குப் பலத்தைக் கொடுத்தீர். இப்பொழுது நீர் பேசலாம்” என்றேன்.

மேலும் அவர், “மிகுந்த அன்புக்குரியவனே! அஞ்சாதே; உனக்குச் சமாதானம் உண்டாவதாக! திடங்கொண்டு துணிவாயிரு” என்றார். இவ்வாறு அவர் பேசியபோது, எனக்குத் துணிவு உண்டாகி, “என் தலைவர் பேசட்டும்; ஏனெனில், நீர் எனக்கு வலுவூட்டினீர்” என்றேன்.

fear תִּירָ֧א yārēʾ ya-RAY
O man אִישׁ ʾîš eesh
greatly beloved, חֲמֻד֛וֹת ḥāmad ha-MAHD
peace שָׁל֥וֹם šālôm sha-LOME
לָ֖ךְ
unto thee, be strong, חֲזַ֣ק ḥāzaq ha-ZAHK
yea, be strong. וַחֲזָ֑ק ḥāzaq ha-ZAHK
And when he had spoken וּֽכְדַבְּר֤וֹ dābar da-VAHR
unto עִמִּי֙ ʿim eem
me, I was strengthened, הִתְחַזַּ֔קְתִּי ḥāzaq ha-ZAHK
and said, וָאֹ֥מְרָ֛ה ʾāmar ah-MAHR
speak; יְדַבֵּ֥ר dābar da-VAHR
Let my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י ʾādôn ah-DONE
for כִּ֥י kî kee
thou hast strengthened me. חִזַּקְתָּֽנִי׃ ḥāzaq ha-ZAHK
