Psalm 10 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தாவே, ஏன் தூரத்தில் நிற்கிறீர்? ஆபத்து நேரிடுகிற சமயங்களில் நீர் ஏன் மறைந்திருக்கிறீர்? Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

2 துன்மார்க்கன் தன் பெருமையினால் சிறுமைப்பட்டவனைக் கடூரமாய்த் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறான்; அவர்கள் நினைத்த சதிமோசங்களில் அவர்களே அகப்படுவார்கள். The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

3 துன்மார்க்கன் தன் உள்ளம் இச்சித்ததைப் பெற்றதினால் பெருமைபாராட்டி, பொருளை அபகரித்துத் தன்னைத்தான் போற்றி, கர்த்தரை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான். For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

4 துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கர்வத்தினால் தேவனைத் தேடான்; அவன் நினைவுகளெல்லாம் தேவன் இல்லையென்பதே. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

5 அவன் வழிகள் எப்போதும் கேடுள்ளவைகள்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அவன் பார்வைக்கு எட்டாமல் மிகவும் உயரமாயிருக்கிறது; தன் எதிராளிகளெல்லார்மேலும் சீறுகிறான். His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

6 நான் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை, தலைமுறை தலைமுறைதோறும் தீங்கு என்னை அணுகுவதில்லையென்று தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான். He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

7 அவன் வாய் சபிப்பினாலும் கபடத்தினாலும் கொடுமையினாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அவன் நாவின்கீழ் தீவினையும் அக்கிரமமும் உண்டு. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

8 கிராமங்களின் ஒளிப்பிடங்களிலே பதிவிருந்து, மறைவிடங்களிலே குற்றமற்றவனைக் கொல்லுகிறான்; திக்கற்றவர்களைப் பிடிக்க அவன் கண்கள் நோக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

9 தன் கெபியிலிருக்கிற சிங்கத்தைப்போல மறைவில் பதிவிருக்கிறான்; ஏழையைப் பிடிக்கப் பதிவிருந்து, ஏழையைத் தன் வலைக்குள் இழுத்துப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறான். He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10 திக்கற்றவர்கள் தன் பலவான்கள் கையில் விழும்படி அவன் பதுங்கிக்கிடக்கிறான். He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

11 தேவன் அதை மறந்தார் என்றும், அவர் தம்முடைய முகத்தை மறைத்து ஒருக்காலும் அதைக் காணமாட்டார் என்றும், தன் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான். He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

12 கர்த்தாவே, எழுந்தருளும்; தேவனே உம்முடைய கையை உயர்த்தும்; ஏழைகளை மறவாதேயும். Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

13 துன்மார்க்கன் தேவனை அசட்டைபண்ணி: நீர் கேட்டு விசாரிப்பதில்லை என்று தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்வானேன். Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

14 அதைப் பார்த்திருக்கிறீரே! உபத்திரவத்தையும் குரோதத்தையும் கவனித்திருக்கிறீரே; நீர் பதிலளிப்பீர்; ஏழையானவன் தன்னை உமக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கிறான்; திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்கு சகாயர் நீரே. Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

15 துன்மார்க்கனும் பொல்லாதவனுமாயிருக்கிறவனுடைய புயத்தை முறித்துவிடும்; அவனுடைய ஆகாமியம் காணாமற்போகுமட்டும் அதைத் தேடி விசாரியும். Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

16 கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களுக்கும் ராஜாவாயிருக்கிறார், புறஜாதியார் அவருடைய தேசத்திலிருந்து அழிந்துபோவார்கள். The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

17 கர்த்தாவே, சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறீர்; அவர்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவீர். LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

18 மண்ணான மனுஷன் இனிப் பலவந்தஞ்செய்யத் தொடராதபடிக்கு, தேவரீர் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கும் நீதிசெய்ய உம்முடைய செவிகளைச் சாய்த்துக்கேட்டருளுவீர். To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

1 Karththaavae, aen thooraththil nirkireer? Aapaththu naeridukira samayangalil neer aen marainthirukkireer? Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

2 Thunmaarkkan than perumaiyinaal siraுmaippattavanaik katooramaayth thunpappaduththukiraan; avarkal ninaiththa sathimosangalil avarkalae akappaduvaarkal. The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

3 Thunmaarkkan than ullam ichchiththathaip pettathinaal perumaipaaraatti, porulai apakariththuth thannaiththaan potti, karththarai asattaைpannnukiraan. For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

4 Thunmaarkkan than karvaththinaal thaevanaith thaedaan; avan ninaivukalellaam Dhevan illaiyenpathae. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

5 Avan valikal eppothum kaedullavaikal; ummutaiya niyaayaththeerppukal avan paarvaikku ettamal mikavum uyaramaayirukkirathu; than ethiraalikalellaarmaelum seeraுkiraan. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

6 Naan asaikkappaduvathillai, thalaimurai thalaimuraithoraுm theengu ennai anukuvathillaiyentu than iruthayaththil sollikkollukiraan. He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

7 Avan vaay sapippinaalum kapadaththinaalum kodumaiyinaalum nirainthirukkirathu; avan naavingeel theevinaiyum akkiramamum unndu. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

8 Kiraamangalin olippidangalilae pathivirunthu, maraividangalilae kuttamattavanaik kollukiraan; thikkattavarkalaip pitikka avan kannkal Nnokkikkonntirukkirathu. 9 Than kepiyilirukkira singaththaippola maraivil pathivirukkiraan; aelaiyaip pitikkap pathivirunthu, aelaiyaith than valaikkul iluththup pitiththukkollukiraan. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10 Thikkattavarkal than palavaankal kaiyil vilumpati avan pathungikkidakkiraan. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

11 Dhevan athai maranthaar entum, avar thammutaiya mukaththai maraiththu orukkaalum athaik kaanamaattar entum, than iruthayaththilae sollikkollukiraan. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

12 Karththaavae, eluntharulum; thaevanae ummutaiya kaiyai uyarththum; aelaikalai maravaathaeyum. Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

13 Thunmaarkkan thaevanai asattaைpannnni: neer kaettu visaarippathillai entu than iruthayaththil sollikkolvaanaen. Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

14 Athaip paarththirukkireerae! Upaththiravaththaiyum kurothaththaiyum kavaniththirukkireerae; neer pathilalippeer; aelaiyaanavan thannai umakku oppuvikkiraan; thikkatta pillaikalukku sakaayar neerae. Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

15 Thunmaarkkanum pollaathavanumaayirukkiravanutaiya puyaththai muriththuvidum; avanutaiya aakaamiyam kaannaamarpokumattum athaith thaeti visaariyum. Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

16 Karththar sathaakaalangalukkum raajaavaayirukkiraar, purajaathiyaar avarutaiya thaesaththilirunthu alinthupovaarkal. The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

17 Karththaavae, siraுmaippattavarkalutaiya vaennduthalaik kaettirukkireer; avarkal iruthayaththai sthirappaduththuveer. LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

18 Mannnnaana manushan inip palavanthanjaெyyath thodaraathapatikku, thaevareer thikkatta pillaikalukkum odukkappattavarkalukkum neethiseyya ummutaiya sevikalaich saayththukkaettaruluveer. To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
