Leviticus 25 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2 நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்திலே நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேர்ந்திருக்கும்போது, தேசம் கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஓய்வு கொண்டாடவேண்டும். Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.

3 ஆறு வருஷம் உன் வயலை விதைத்து, உன் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தைக் கிளைகழித்து, அதின் பலனைச் சேர்ப்பாயாக. Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

4 ஏழாம் வருஷத்திலோ, கர்த்தருக்கென்று ஓய்ந்திருக்கும் ஓய்வு தேசத்திற்கு இருக்கவேண்டும்; அதில் உன் வயலை விதைக்காமலும் உன் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தைக் கிளைகழிக்காமலும், But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

5 தானாய் விளைந்து பயிரானதை அறுக்காமலும், கிளைகழிக்காதேவிட்ட திராட்சச்செடியின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருப்பாயாக; தேசத்துக்கு அது ஒரு ஓய்வுவருஷமாயிருக்கக்கடவது. That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

6 தேசத்தின் ஓய்விலே பயிராகிறது உங்களுக்கு ஆகாரமாயிருப்பதாக; உன் வேலைக்காரனுக்கும், உன் வேலைக்காரிக்கும், உன் கூலிக்காரனுக்கும், உன்னிடத்தில் தங்குகிற அந்நியனுக்கும், And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.

7 உன் நாட்டு மிருகத்துக்கும், உன் தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற காட்டு மிருகத்துக்கும் அதில் விளைந்திருப்பதெல்லாம் ஆகாரமாயிருப்பதாக. And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

8 அன்றியும், ஏழு ஓய்வு வருஷங்களுள்ள ஏழு ஏழு வருஷங்களை எண்ணுவாயாக; அந்த ஏழு ஓய்வு வருஷங்களும் நாற்பத்தொன்பது வருஷமாகும். And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9 அப்பொழுதும் ஏழாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதியில் எக்காளச்சத்தம் தொனிக்கும்படி செய்யவேண்டும்; பாவநிவாரணநாளில் உங்கள் தேசமெங்கும் எக்காளச்சத்தம் தொனிக்கும்படி செய்யவேண்டும். Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

10 ஐம்பதாம் வருஷத்தைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கி, தேசமெங்கும் அதின் குடிகளுக்கெல்லாம் விடுதலை கூறக்கடவீர்கள்; அது உங்களுக்கு யூபிலி வருஷமாயிருப்பதாக; அதிலே உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் தன் காணியாட்சிக்கும் தன் தன் குடும்பத்துக்கும் திரும்பிப் போகக்கடவன். And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11 அந்த ஐம்பதாம் வருஷம் உங்களுக்கு யூபிலி வருஷமாயிருப்பதாக; அதிலே விதைக்காமலும், தானாய் விளைந்து பயிரானதை அறுக்காமலும், கிளைகழிக்காமல் விடப்பட்ட திராட்சச் செடியின் பழங்களைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 அது யூபிலி வருஷம்; அது உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அந்த வருஷத்தில் வயல்வெளியில் விளைந்தவைகளை நீங்கள் புசிக்கவேண்டும். For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 அந்த யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் உங்களில் அவனவன் தன் தன் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன். In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

14 ஆகையால், பிறனுக்கு எதையாவது விற்றாலும், அவனிடத்தில் எதையாவது கொண்டாலும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அநியாயம் செய்யக் கூடாது. And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbor, or buyest ought of thy neighbor's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:

15 யூபிலி வருஷத்துக்குப் பின்வரும் வருஷங்களின் தொகைக்கேற்கப் பிறனிடத்தில் கொள்ளுவாயாக; பலனுள்ள வருஷங்களின் தொகைக்கேற்க அவன் உனக்கு விற்பானாக. According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbor, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:

16 பலனுள்ள வருஷங்களின் இலக்கத்தைப் பார்த்து அவன் உனக்கு விற்கிறபடியால், வருஷங்களின் தொகை ஏறினால் விலையேறவும், வருஷங்களின் தொகை குறைந்தால், விலை குறையவும்வேண்டும். According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.

17 உங்களில் ஒருவனும் பிறனுக்கு அநியாயஞ்செய்யக் கூடாது; உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.

18 என் கட்டளைகளின்படி செய்து, என் நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு அவைகளின்படி நடக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது தேசத்திலே சுகமாய்க்குடியிருப்பீர்கள். Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

19 பூமி தன் கனியைத்தரும்; நீங்கள் திருப்தியாகச் சாப்பிட்டு, அதில் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பீர்கள். And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

20 ஏழாம் வருஷத்தில் எதைப் புசிப்போம்? நாங்கள் விதைக்காமலும், விளைந்ததைச் சேர்க்காமலும் இருக்கவேண்டுமே! என்று சொல்வீர்களானால், And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

21 நான் ஆறாம் வருஷத்தில் உங்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதத்தை அநுக்கிரகம்பண்ணுவேன்; அது உங்களுக்கு மூன்று வருஷத்தின் பலனைத்தரும். Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

22 நீங்கள் எட்டாம் வருஷத்திலே விதைத்து, ஒன்பதாம் வருஷம்மட்டும் பழைய பலனிலே சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்; அதின் பலன் விளையும்வரைக்கும் பழைய பலனைச் சாப்பிடுவீர்கள். And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

23 தேசம் என்னுடையதாயிருக்கிறபடியால், நீங்கள் நிலங்களை அறுதியாய் விற்கவேண்டாம்; நீங்கள் பரதேசிகளும் என்னிடத்தில் புறக்குடிகளுமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள். The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

24 உங்கள் காணியாட்சியான தேசமெங்கும் நிலங்களை மீட்டுக்கொள்ள இடங்கொடுக்கக்கடவீர்கள். And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

25 உங்கள் சகோதரன் தரித்திரப்பட்டு, தன் காணியாட்சியிலே சிலதை விற்றால், அவன் இனத்தான் ஒருவன் வந்து, தன் சகோதரன் விற்றதை மீட்கக்கடவன். If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

26 அதை மீட்க ஒருவனும் இல்லாமல், தானே அதை மீட்கத்தக்கவனானால், And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

27 அதை விற்றபின் சென்ற வருஷங்களின் தொகையைத் தள்ளி, மீந்த தொகையை ஏற்றி, கொண்டவனுக்குக் கொடுத்து, அவன் தன் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன். Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

28 அப்படிக் கொடுப்பதற்கான நிர்வாகம் அவனுக்கு இல்லாவிட்டால், அவன் விற்றது வாங்கினவன் கையிலே யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும் இருந்து, யூபிலி வருஷத்திலே அது விடுதலையாகும்; அப்பொழுது அவன் தன் காணியாட்சிக்குத் திரும்பிப்போவான். But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubilee: and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

29 ஒருவன் மதில்சூழ்ந்த பட்டணத்திலுள்ள தன் வாசஸ்தலமாகிய வீட்டை விற்றால், அதை விற்ற ஒரு வருஷத்துக்குள் அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம்; ஒரு வருஷத்துக்குள்ளாகவே அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.

30 ஒரு வருஷத்துக்குள்ளே அதை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளாதிருந்தால், மதில்சூழ்ந்த பட்டணத்திலுள்ள அந்த வீடு தலைமுறைதோறும் அதை வாங்கினவனுக்கே உரியதாகும்; யூபிலி வருஷத்திலும் அது விடுதலையாகாது. And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubilee.

31 மதில் சூழப்படாத கிராமங்களிலுள்ள வீடுகளோ, தேசத்தின் நிலங்கள் போலவே எண்ணப்படும்; அவைகள் மீட்கப்படலாம்; யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் அவைகள் விடுதலையாகும். But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.

32 லேவியரின் காணியாட்சியாகிய பட்டணங்களிலுள்ள வீடுகளையோ லேவியர் எக்காலத்திலும் மீட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம். Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.

33 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குள்ளே லேவியருடைய பட்டணங்களிலுள்ள வீடுகள் அவர்களுக்குரிய காணியாட்சியானபடியால், லேவியரிடத்தில் அவனுடைய காணியாட்சிப்பட்டணத்திலுள்ள வீட்டை ஒருவன் வாங்கினால், விற்கப்பட்ட அந்த வீடு யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் விடுதலையாகும். And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubilee: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

34 அவர்கள் பட்டணங்களைச் சூழ்ந்த வெளிநிலம் விற்கப்படலாகாது; அது அவர்களுக்கு நித்திய காணியாட்சியாயிருக்கும். But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

35 உன் சகோதரன் தரித்திரப்பட்டு, கையிளைத்துப்போனவனானால், அவனை ஆதரிக்கவேண்டும்; பரதேசியைப்போலும் தங்கவந்தவனைப்போலும் அவன் உன்னோடே பிழைப்பானாக. And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

36 நீ அவன் கையில் வட்டியாவது பொலிசையாவது வாங்காமல், உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து, உன் சகோதரன் உன்னோடே பிழைக்கும்படி செய்வாயாக. Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

37 அவனுக்கு உன் பணத்தை வட்டிக்கும், உன் தானியத்தைப் பொலிசைக்கும் கொடாயாக. Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

38 உங்களுக்குக் கானான் தேசத்தைக் கொடுத்து, உங்களுக்கு தேவனாயிருக்கும்படி, உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே. I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

39 உன் சகோதரன் தரித்திரனாகி, உனக்கு விலைப்பட்டுப்போனால், அவனை அடிமையைப்போல ஊழியஞ்செய்ய நெருக்கவேண்டாம். And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

40 அவன் கூலிக்காரனைப்போலவும் தங்கவந்தவனைப்போலவும் உன்னோடே இருந்து, யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும் உன்னிடத்தில் சேவிக்கக்கடவன். But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubilee.

41 பின்பு, தன் பிள்ளைகளோடுங்கூட உன்னை விட்டு நீங்கலாகி, தன் குடும்பத்தாரிடத்துக்கும் தன் பிதாக்களின் காணியாட்சிக்கும் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன். And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

42 அவர்கள் நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின என்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரர்; ஆகையால் அவர்கள் அடிமைகளாக விற்கப்படலாகாது. For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

43 நீ அவனைக் கொடூரமாய் ஆளாமல் உன் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்திரு. Thou shalt not rule over him with rigor; but shalt fear thy God.

44 உனக்கு இருக்கும் ஆண் அடிமையும் பெண் அடிமையும் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற புறஜாதிகளாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவர்களில் நீ ஆண் அடிமையையும் பெண் அடிமையையும் விலைக்கு வாங்கலாம். Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.

45 உங்களிடத்திலே பரதேசிகளாய்த் தங்குகிற அந்நிய புத்திரரிலும், உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உங்களிடத்திலே பிறந்திருக்கிற அவர்களுடைய குடும்பத்தாரிலும் நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு அடிமைகளைக் கொண்டு, அவர்களை உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாக்கலாம். Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

46 அவர்களை உங்களுக்குப் பின்வரும் உங்கள் சந்ததியாரும் சுதந்தரிக்கும்படி நீங்கள் அவர்களைச் சுதந்தரமாக்கிக்கொள்ளலாம்; என்றைக்கும் அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு அடிமைகளாயிருக்கலாம்; உங்கள் சகோதரராகிய இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ ஒருவரையொருவர் கொடூரமாக ஆளக் கூடாது. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigor.

47 உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிற பரதேசியும் அந்நியனும் செல்வனாயிருக்க, அவனிடத்தில் இருக்கிற உன் சகோதரன் தரித்திரப்பட்டு, அந்தப் பரதேசிக்காவது, அந்நியனுக்காவது, பரதேசியின் குடும்பத்தாரில் எவனுக்காவது அவன் விலைப்பட்டுப்போனால், And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family:

48 அவன் விலைப்பட்டுப்போனபின் திரும்ப மீட்கப்படலாம்; அவன் சகோதரரில் ஒருவன் அவனை மீட்கலாம். After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:

49 அவனுடைய பிதாவின் சகோதரனாவது, அந்தச் சகோதரனுடைய புத்திரனாவது, அவன் குடும்பத்திலுள்ள அவனைச் சேர்ந்த இனத்தாரில் எவனாவது அவனை மீட்கலாம்; தன்னால் கூடுமானால், தன்னைத்தானே மீட்டுக்கொள்ளலாம். Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

50 அவன் தான் விலைப்பட்ட வருஷந்தொடங்கி, யூபிலி வருஷம்வரைக்கும் உண்டான காலத்தைத் தன்னை விலைக்குக்கொண்டவனுடன் கணக்குப்பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவனுடைய விலைக்கிரயம் கூலிக்காரனுடைய காலக்கணக்குப்போல, வருஷத்தொகைக்கு ஒத்துப்பார்க்கவேண்டும். And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.

51 இன்னும் அநேக வருஷங்கள் இருந்தால், அவன் தன் விலைக்கிரயத்திலே அவைகளுக்குத் தக்கதைத் தன்னை மீட்கும்பொருளாகத் திரும்பக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன். If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

52 யூபிலி வருஷம்மட்டும் மீதியாயிருக்கிற வருஷங்கள் கொஞ்சமேயானால், அவனோடே கணக்குப் பார்த்து, தன் வருஷங்களுக்குத் தக்கதை, தன்னை மீட்கும்பொருளாகத் திரும்பக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

53 இவன் வருஷத்திற்கு வருஷம் கூலிபொருந்திக்கொண்ட கூலிக்காரனைப்போல, அவனிடத்தில் இருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் இவனை உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கொடூரமாய் ஆளக் கூடாது. And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigor over him in thy sight.

54 இப்படி இவன் மீட்டுக்கொள்ளப்படாதிருந்தால், இவனும் இவனோடேகூட இவன் பிள்ளைகளும் யூபிலி வருஷத்தில் விடுதலையாவார்கள். And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, both he, and his children with him.

55 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் என் ஊழியக்காரர்; அவர்கள் நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின என் ஊழியக்காரரே; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

1 Karththar seenaaymalaiyil Mosesyai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2 Nee Israel puththirarotae sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: naan ungalukkuk kodukkum thaesaththilae neengal poych sernthirukkumpothu, thaesam karththarukkentu oyvu konndaadavaenndum. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.

3 Aaraு varusham un vayalai vithaiththu, un thiraatchaththottaththaik kilaikaliththu, athin palanaich serppaayaaka. Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

4 Aelaam varushaththilo, karththarukkentu oynthirukkum oyvu thaesaththirku irukkavaenndum; athil un vayalai vithaikkaamalum un thiraatchaththottaththaik kilaikalikkaamalum, But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

5 Thaanaay vilainthu payiraanathai araுkkaamalum, kilaikalikkaathaevitta thiraatchachchetiyin palangalaich serkkaamalum iruppaayaaka; thaesaththukku athu oru oyvuvarushamaayirukkakkadavathu. That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

6 Thaesaththin oyvilae payiraakirathu ungalukku aakaaramaayiruppathaaka; un vaelaikkaaranukkum, un vaelaikkaarikkum, un koolikkaaranukkum, unnidaththil thangukira anniyanukkum, And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.

7 Un naattu mirukaththukkum, un thaesaththil irukkira kaattu mirukaththukkum athil vilainthiruppathellaam aakaaramaayiruppathaaka. And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

8 Antiyum, aelu oyvu varushangalulla aelu aelu varushangalai ennnuvaayaaka; antha aelu oyvu varushangalum naarpaththonpathu varushamaakum. And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9 Appoluthum aelaam maatham paththaanthaethiyil ekkaalachchaththam thonikkumpati seyyavaenndum; paavanivaarananaalil ungal thaesamengum ekkaalachchaththam thonikkumpati seyyavaenndum. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

10 Aimpathaam varushaththaip Parisuththamaakki, thaesamengum athin kutikalukkellaam viduthalai koorakkadaveerkal; athu ungalukku yoopili varushamaayiruppathaaka; athilae ungalil ovvoruvanum than than kaanniyaatchikkum than than kudumpaththukkum thirumpip pokakkadavan. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11 Antha aimpathaam varusham ungalukku yoopili varushamaayiruppathaaka; athilae vithaikkaamalum, thaanaay vilainthu payiraanathai araுkkaamalum, kilaikalikkaamal vidappatta thiraatchach setiyin palangalaich serkkaamalum iruppeerkalaaka. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 Athu yoopili varusham; athu ungalukkup Parisuththamaayirukkavaenndum; antha varushaththil vayalveliyil vilainthavaikalai neengal pusikkavaenndum. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 Antha yoopili varushaththil ungalil avanavan than than kaanniyaatchikkuth thirumpippokakkadavan. In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

14 Aakaiyaal, piranukku ethaiyaavathu vittaாlum, avanidaththil ethaiyaavathu konndaalum oruvarukkoruvar aniyaayam seyyak koodaathu. And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbor, or buyest ought of thy neighbor's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:

15 Yoopili varushaththukkup pinvarum varushangalin thokaikkaerkap piranidaththil kolluvaayaaka; palanulla varushangalin thokaikkaerka avan unakku virpaanaaka. According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbor, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:

16 Palanulla varushangalin ilakkaththaip paarththu avan unakku virkirapatiyaal, varushangalin thokai aerinaal vilaiyaeravum, varushangalin thokai kurainthaal, vilai kuraiyavumvaenndum. According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.

17 Ungalil oruvanum piranukku aniyaayanjaெyyak koodaathu; un thaevanukkup payappadavaenndum; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.

18 En kattalaikalinpati seythu, en niyaayangalaik kaikkonndu avaikalinpati nadakkakkadaveerkal; appoluthu thaesaththilae sukamaaykkutiyiruppeerkal. Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

19 Poomi than kaniyaiththarum; neengal thirupthiyaakach saappittu, athil sukamaayk kutiyiruppeerkal. And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

20 Aelaam varushaththil ethaip pusippom? Naangal vithaikkaamalum, vilainthathaich serkkaamalum irukkavaenndumae! Entu solveerkalaanaal, And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

21 Naan aaraam varushaththil ungalukku aaseervaathaththai anukkirakampannnuvaen; athu ungalukku moontu varushaththin palanaiththarum. Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

22 Neengal ettam varushaththilae vithaiththu, onpathaam varushammattum palaiya palanilae saappiduveerkal; athin palan vilaiyumvaraikkum palaiya palanaich saappiduveerkal. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

23 Thaesam ennutaiyathaayirukkirapatiyaal, neengal nilangalai araுthiyaay virkavaenndaam; neengal parathaesikalum ennidaththil purakkutikalumaayirukkireerkal. The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

24 Ungal kaanniyaatchiyaana thaesamengum nilangalai meettukkolla idangaொdukkakkadaveerkal. And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

25 Ungal sakotharan thariththirappattu, than kaanniyaatchiyilae silathai vittaாl, avan inaththaan oruvan vanthu, than sakotharan vittathai meetkakkadavan. If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

26 Athai meetka oruvanum illaamal, thaanae athai meetkaththakkavanaanaal, And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

27 Athai vittapin senta varushangalin thokaiyaith thalli, meentha thokaiyai aetti, konndavanukkuk koduththu, avan than kaanniyaatchikkuth thirumpippokakkadavan. Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

28 Appatik koduppatharkaana nirvaakam avanukku illaavittal, avan vittathu vaanginavan kaiyilae yoopili varushammattum irunthu, yoopili varushaththilae athu viduthalaiyaakum; appoluthu avan than kaanniyaatchikkuth thirumpippovaan. But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubilee: and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

29 Oruvan mathilsoolntha pattanaththilulla than vaasasthalamaakiya veettaை vittaாl, athai vitta oru varushaththukkul athai meettukkollalaam; oru varushaththukkullaakavae athai meettukkollavaenndum. And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.

30 Oru varushaththukkullae athai meettukkollaathirunthaal, mathilsoolntha pattanaththilulla antha veedu thalaimuraithoraுm athai vaanginavanukkae uriyathaakum; yoopili varushaththilum athu viduthalaiyaakaathu. And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubilee.

31 Mathil soolappadaatha kiraamangalilulla veedukalo, thaesaththin nilangal polavae ennnappadum; avaikal meetkappadalaam; yoopili varushaththil avaikal viduthalaiyaakum. But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.

32 Laeviyarin kaanniyaatchiyaakiya pattanangalilulla veedukalaiyo laeviyar ekkaalaththilum meettukkollalaam. Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.

33 Israel puththirarukkullae laeviyarutaiya pattanangalilulla veedukal avarkalukkuriya kaanniyaatchiyaanapatiyaal, laeviyaridaththil avanutaiya kaanniyaatchippattanaththilulla veettaை oruvan vaanginaal, virkappatta antha veedu yoopili varushaththil viduthalaiyaakum. And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubilee: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

34 Avarkal pattanangalaich soolntha velinilam virkappadalaakaathu; athu avarkalukku niththiya kaanniyaatchiyaayirukkum. But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

35 Un sakotharan thariththirappattu, kaiyilaiththupponavanaanaal, avanai aatharikkavaenndum; parathaesiyaippolum thangavanthavanaippolum avan unnotae pilaippaanaaka. And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

36 Nee avan kaiyil vattiyaavathu polisaiyaavathu vaangaamal, un thaevanukkup payanthu, un sakotharan unnotae pilaikkumpati seyvaayaaka. Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

37 Avanukku un panaththai vattikkum, un thaaniyaththaip polisaikkum kodaayaaka. Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

38 Ungalukkuk kaanaan thaesaththaik koduththu, ungalukku thaevanaayirukkumpati, ungalai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnnina ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar naanae. I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

39 Un sakotharan thariththiranaaki, unakku vilaippattupponaal, avanai atimaiyaippola ooliyanjaெyya nerukkavaenndaam. And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

40 Avan koolikkaaranaippolavum thangavanthavanaippolavum unnotae irunthu, yoopili varushammattum unnidaththil sevikkakkadavan. But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubilee.

41 Pinpu, than pillaikalodungaூda unnai vittu neengalaaki, than kudumpaththaaridaththukkum than pithaakkalin kaanniyaatchikkum thirumpippokakkadavan. And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

42 Avarkal naan ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnnina ennutaiya ooliyakkaarar; aakaiyaal avarkal atimaikalaaka virkappadalaakaathu. For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

43 Nee avanaik kotooramaay aalaamal un thaevanukkup payanthiru. Thou shalt not rule over him with rigor; but shalt fear thy God.

44 Unakku irukkum aann atimaiyum penn atimaiyum suttilum irukkira purajaathikalaayirukkavaenndum; avarkalil nee aann atimaiyaiyum penn atimaiyaiyum vilaikku vaangalaam. Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.

45 Ungalidaththilae parathaesikalaayth thangukira anniya puththirarilum, ungal thaesaththil ungalidaththilae piranthirukkira avarkalutaiya kudumpaththaarilum neengal ungalukku atimaikalaik konndu, avarkalai ungalukkuch suthantharamaakkalaam. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

46 Avarkalai ungalukkup pinvarum ungal santhathiyaarum suthantharikkumpati neengal avarkalaich suthantharamaakkikkollalaam; entaikkum avarkal ungalukku atimaikalaayirukkalaam; ungal sakothararaakiya Israel puththiraro oruvaraiyoruvar kotooramaaka aalak koodaathu. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigor.

47 Unnidaththil irukkira parathaesiyum anniyanum selvanaayirukka, avanidaththil irukkira un sakotharan thariththirappattu, anthap parathaesikkaavathu, anniyanukkaavathu, parathaesiyin kudumpaththaaril evanukkaavathu avan vilaippattupponaal, And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family:

48 Avan vilaippattupponapin thirumpa meetkappadalaam; avan sakothararil oruvan avanai meetkalaam. After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:

49 Avanutaiya pithaavin sakotharanaavathu, anthach sakotharanutaiya puththiranaavathu, avan kudumpaththilulla avanaich serntha inaththaaril evanaavathu avanai meetkalaam; thannaal koodumaanaal, thannaiththaanae meettukkollalaam. Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

50 Avan thaan vilaippatta varushanthodangi, yoopili varushamvaraikkum unndaana kaalaththaith thannai vilaikkukkonndavanudan kanakkuppaarkkakkadavan; avanutaiya vilaikkirayam koolikkaaranutaiya kaalakkanakkuppola, varushaththokaikku oththuppaarkkavaenndum. And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.

51 Innum anaeka varushangal irunthaal, avan than vilaikkirayaththilae avaikalukkuth thakkathaith thannai meetkumporulaakath thirumpak kodukkakkadavan. If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

52 Yoopili varushammattum meethiyaayirukkira varushangal konjamaeyaanaal, avanotae kanakkup paarththu, than varushangalukkuth thakkathai, thannai meetkumporulaakath thirumpak kodukkavaenndum. And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

53 Ivan varushaththirku varusham kooliporunthikkonnda koolikkaaranaippola, avanidaththil irukkavaenndum; avan ivanai unakku munpaakak kotooramaay aalak koodaathu. And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigor over him in thy sight.

54 Ippati ivan meettukkollappadaathirunthaal, ivanum ivanotaekooda ivan pillaikalum yoopili varushaththil viduthalaiyaavaarkal. And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, both he, and his children with him.

55 Israel puththirar en ooliyakkaarar; avarkal naan ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnnina en ooliyakkaararae; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
