Leviticus 13 in Tamil

1 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,

2 ஒரு மனிதனுடைய சரீரத்தின்மேல் குஷ்டரோகம்போலிருக்கிற ஒரு தடிப்பாவது அசறாவது வெள்ளைப்படராவது உண்டானால், அவன் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனிடத்திலாகிலும், ஆசாரியராகிய அவன் குமாரரில் ஒருவனிடத்திலாகிலும் கொண்டுவரப்படக்கடவன். When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

3 அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அவன் சரீரத்தின்மேல் இருக்கிற ரோகத்தைப் பார்க்கவேண்டும்; ரோகம் இருக்கும் இடத்தில் மயிர் வெளுத்தும், ரோகமுள்ள இடம் அவனுடைய மற்றச் சரீரத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்க் குழிந்தும் இருந்தால் அது குஷ்டரோகம்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்தபின்பு, அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன். And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

4 அவன் சரீரத்தின்மேல் வெள்ளைப் படர்ந்திருந்தாலும், அவ்விடம் அவனுடைய மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிக பள்ளமாயிராமலும், அதின் மயிர் வெள்ளையாக மாறாமலும் இருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

5 ஏழாம் நாளில் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; தோலில் ரோகம் அதிகப்படாமல், அவன் பார்வைக்கு ரோகம் நின்றிருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

6 இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனை ஏழாம்நாளில் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; தோலில் ரோகம் அதிகப்படாமல் சுருங்கியிருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது அசறு; அவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்துச் சுத்தமாயிருப்பானாக. And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7 தன்னைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கிறதற்கு அவன் தன்னை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பித்தபின்பு, அசறு தோலில் அதிகமாய்ப் படர்ந்திருந்தால், அவன் மறுபடியும் ஆசாரியனுக்குத் தன்னைக் காண்பிக்கக்கடவன். But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again.

8 அப்பொழுது அசறு தோலிலே படர்ந்தது என்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டரோகம். And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.

9 குஷ்டரோகம் ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு இருந்தால், அவனை ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும். When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

10 அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்து, தோலிலே வெள்ளையான தடிப்பிருந்து, அது மயிரை வெண்மையாக மாறப்பண்ணிற்றென்றும், அந்தத் தடிப்புள்ள இடத்திலே இரணமாம்சம் உண்டென்றும் கண்டால், And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;

11 அது அவன் சரீரத்திலுள்ள நாள்பட்ட குஷ்டம்; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன். ஆதலால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை அடைத்து வைக்காமல், தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன். It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.

12 ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கிற இடங்களெங்கும் தோலிலே குஷ்டம் தோன்றி, அந்த ரோகமுள்ளவனுடைய தலை தொடங்கி அவன் கால்மட்டும் அது தேகமுழுவதையும் மூடியிருக்கக்கண்டால், And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;

13 அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் பார்த்து, குஷ்டம் அவன் சரீரம் முழுவதையும் மூடியிருந்தால், அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் உடம்பெல்லாம் வெண்மையாய்ப்போனபடியால், அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன். Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

14 ஆனாலும் இரணமாம்சம் அவனில் காணப்பட்டால், அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன். But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

15 ஆகையால், இரணமாம்சத்தை ஆசாரியன் காணும்போது, அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; இரணமாம்சம் தீட்டுள்ளது; அது குஷ்டம். And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.

16 அல்லது, இரணமாம்சம் மாறி வெண்மையானால், அவன் ஆசாரியனிடத்துக்கு வரவேண்டும். Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;

17 ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்த்து, ரோகமுள்ள இடம் வெண்மையாக மாறினதென்று கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன். And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

18 சரீரத்தின்மேல் புண் உண்டாயிருந்து ஆறிப்போய், The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

19 அவ்விடத்திலே ஒரு வெள்ளைத்தடிப்பாவது சிவப்பு கலந்த ஒரு வெள்ளைப்படராவது உண்டானால், அதை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும். And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be showed to the priest;

20 ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் குழிந்திருக்கவும், அதின் மயிர் வெள்ளையாக மாறியிருக்கவும் கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கவேண்டும்; அது புண்ணில் எழும்பின குஷ்டம். And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

21 ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அதில் வெள்ளைமயிர் இல்லை என்றும், அது மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் குழிந்திராமல் சுருங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றும் கண்டானாகில், அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

22 அது தோலில் அதிகமாய்ப் படர்ந்திருக்கக் கண்டால், அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டந்தான். And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

23 அந்த வெள்ளைப்படர் அதிகப்படாமல், அவ்வளவில் நின்றிருக்குமாகில், அது புண்ணின் தழும்பாயிருக்கும்; ஆகையால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன். But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24 ஒருவனுடைய சரீரத்தின்மேல் நெருப்புப்பட்டதினாலே வெந்து, அந்த வேக்காடு ஆறிப்போன இடத்திலே சிவப்பான படராவது வெண்மையான படராவது உண்டானால், Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;

25 ஆசாரியன் அதைப்பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தப் படரிலே மயிர் வெண்மையாக மாறி, அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமாயிருந்தால், அது வேக்காட்டினால் எழும்பின குஷ்டம்; ஆகையால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது குஷ்டரோகந்தான். Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

26 ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்க்கிறபோது, படரிலே வெள்ளைமயிர் இல்லை என்றும், அது மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் குழிந்திராமல், சுருங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றும் கண்டானாகில், அவனை ஏழுநாள் அடைத்து வைத்து, But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

28 படரானது தோலில் பெருகாமல், அவ்வளவில் நின்று சுருங்கியிருந்ததாகில், அது சூட்டினால் உண்டான தழும்பு; ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவனென்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது சூட்டினால் வந்த வேக்காடு. And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.

29 புருஷனுக்காகிலும் ஸ்திரீக்காகிலும் தலையிலாவது தாடியிலாவது ஒரு சொறி உண்டானால், If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;

30 ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, அவ்விடம் மற்றத்தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமும் அதிலே மயிர் பொன் நிறமும் மிருதுவுமாயிருக்கக்கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவனென்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அது தலையிலும் தாடியிலும் உண்டாகிற சொறிகுஷ்டம். Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

31 ஆசாரியன் அந்தச் சொறிகுஷ்டத்தைப் பார்க்கும்போது, அவ்விடம் மற்றத்தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமாயிராமலும் அதிலே கறுத்தமயிர் இல்லாமலும் இருக்கக்கண்டால், ஆசாரியன் அவனை ஏழு நாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

32 ஏழாம்நாளில் ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தச் சொறி இடங்கொள்ளாமலும் அதிலே பொன்நிறமயிர் இல்லாமலும், அவ்விடம் மற்றத்தோலைப் பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமில்லாமலும் இருந்தால், And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;

33 அந்தச் சொறியுள்ள இடந்தவிர, மற்ற யாவையும் அவன் சிரைத்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவன்; பின்பு, ஆசாரியன் இரண்டாந்தரம் அவனை ஏழு நாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

34 ஏழாம் நாளில் அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; சொறி தோலில் இடங்கொள்ளாமலும், அவ்விடம் மற்றத் தோலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பள்ளமில்லாமலும் இருந்தால், ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்தபின் சுத்தமாயிருப்பான். And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35 அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவனென்று தீர்க்கப்பட்டபின், அந்தச் சொறி தோலில் இடங்கொண்டதானால், But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;

36 ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; சொறி தோலில் இடங்கொண்டிருந்தால், அப்பொழுது மயிர் பொன்நிறமா அல்லவா என்று ஆசாரியன் விசாரிக்கவேண்டியதில்லை; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவனே. Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.

37 அவன் பார்வைக்கு அந்தச் சொறி நீங்கி, அதில் கறுத்தமயிர் முளைத்ததேயாகில், சொறி சொஸ்தமாயிற்று; அவன் சுத்தமுள்ளவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைச் சுத்தமுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன். But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38 ஒரு புருஷனுக்காகிலும் ஸ்திரீக்காகிலும் அவர்கள் சரீரத்தின்மேல் வெள்ளைப் புள்ளிகள் உண்டாயிருந்தால், If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

39 ஆசாரியன் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவர்கள் சரீரத்திலே மங்கின வெள்ளைப் புள்ளிகள் இருந்தால், அது தோலில் எழும்புகிற வெள்ளைத் தேமல்; அவர்கள் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள். Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

40 ஒருவனுடைய தலைமயிர் உதிர்ந்து, அவன் மொட்டையனானாலும் அவன் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறான். And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

41 அவனுடைய முன்னந்தலை மயிர் உதிர்ந்தால், அவன் அரை மொட்டையன்; அவனும் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறான். And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

42 மொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது அரைமொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது சிவப்புக்கலந்த வெண்மையான படர் உண்டானால், அது அதில் எழும்புகிற குஷ்டம். And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

43 ஆசாரியன் அவனைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அவனுடைய மொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது அரைமொட்டைத்தலையிலாவது, மற்ற அங்கங்களின்மேல் உண்டாக்கும் குஷ்டத்தைப்போல, சிவப்புக்கலந்த வெண்மையான தடிப்பு இருக்கக் கண்டால், Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

44 அவன் குஷ்டரோகி, அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவன்; ஆசாரியன் அவனைத் தீட்டுள்ளவன் என்று தீர்க்கக்கடவன்; அவன் வியாதி அவன் தலையிலே இருக்கிறது. He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

45 அந்த வியாதி உண்டாயிருக்கிற குஷ்டரோகி வஸ்திரம் கிழிந்தவனாயும், தன் தலையை மூடாதவனாயும் இருந்து, அவன் தன் தாடியை மூடிக்கொண்டு, தீட்டு, தீட்டு என்று சத்தமிடவேண்டும். And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46 அந்த வியாதி அவனில் இருக்கும் நாள்வரைக்கும் தீட்டுள்ளவனாக எண்ணப்படக்கடவன்; அவன் தீட்டுள்ளவனே; ஆகையால், அவன் தனியே குடியிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் குடியிருப்பு பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே இருக்கக்கடவது. All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.

47 ஆட்டுமயிர் வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, பஞ்சுநூல் வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment;

48 பஞ்சுநூல், அல்லது ஆட்டுமயிரான பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, ஒரு தோலிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது குஷ்டதோஷம் தோன்றி, Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woolen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

49 வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, தோலிலாவது பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது குஷ்டதோஷம் பச்சையாயாவது சிவப்பாயாவது காணப்பட்டால் அது குஷ்டமாயிருக்கும்; அதை ஆசாரியனுக்குக் காண்பிக்கவேண்டும். And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest:

50 ஆசாரியன் அதைப் பார்த்து, ஏழுநாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:

51 ஏழாம் நாளிலே அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது அது அதிகப்பட்டிருந்தால், அது அரிக்கிற குஷ்டம்; அது தீட்டாயிருக்கும். And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

52 அந்தத் தோஷம் இருக்கிற ஆட்டு மயிரினாலும் பஞ்சுநூலினாலும் செய்த வஸ்திரத்தையும் பாவையும், ஊடையையும், தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவையும் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவன்; அது அரிக்கிற குஷ்டம்; ஆகையால் அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படவேண்டும். He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woolen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

53 வஸ்திரத்தின் பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது, அந்தத் தோஷம் அதிகப்படவில்லை என்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டால், And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

54 அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அதைக் கழுவச்சொல்லி, இரண்டாந்தரம் ஏழு நாள் அடைத்துவைத்து, Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

55 அது கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு அதைப் பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அந்தத் தோஷம் அதிகப்படாதிருந்தாலும் அது நிறம் மாறாததாயிருந்தால் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்; அக்கினியில் அதைச் சுட்டெரிக்கவேண்டும்; அது அவ்வஸ்திரத்தின் உட்புறத்திலும் வெளிப்புறத்திலும் உருவ அரிக்கும். And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his color, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

56 கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு அது குறுகிறதென்று ஆசாரியன் கண்டானேயாகில், அதை வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, தோலிலாவது, பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது இராதபடிக்கு எடுத்துப்போடவேண்டும். And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

57 அது இன்னும் வஸ்திரத்திலாவது, பாவிலாவது, ஊடையிலாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவிலாவது காணப்பட்டால், அது படருகிற தோஷம்; ஆகையினால் அது உள்ளதை அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரிக்கவேண்டும். And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

58 வஸ்திரத்தின் பாவாவது, ஊடையாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவாவது கழுவப்பட்டபின்பு, அந்தத் தோஷம் அதைவிட்டுப் போயிற்றேயானால், இரண்டாந்தரம் கழுவப்படவேண்டும்; அப்பொழுது சுத்தமாயிருக்கும். And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

59 ஆட்டுமயிராலாகிலும் பஞ்சுநூலாலாகிலும் நெய்த வஸ்திரத்தையாவது, பாவையாவது, ஊடையையாவது, தோலினால் செய்த எந்தவித வஸ்துவையாவது, சுத்தமென்றாவது தீட்டென்றாவது தீர்க்கிறதற்கு, அதினுடைய குஷ்டதோஷத்துக்கடுத்த பிரமாணம் இதுவே என்றார். This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

1 Pinnum Karththar Mosesyaiyum aaronaiyum Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,

2 Oru manithanutaiya sareeraththinmael kushdarokampolirukkira oru thatippaavathu asaraavathu vellaippadaraavathu unndaanaal, avan aasaariyanaakiya aaronidaththilaakilum, aasaariyaraakiya avan kumaararil oruvanidaththilaakilum konnduvarappadakkadavan. When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

3 Appoluthu aasaariyan avan sareeraththinmael irukkira rokaththaip paarkkavaenndum; rokam irukkum idaththil mayir veluththum, rokamulla idam avanutaiya mattach sareeraththaippaarkkilum athikamaayk kulinthum irunthaal athu kushdarokam; aasaariyan avanaip paarththapinpu, avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan. And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

4 Avan sareeraththinmael vellaip padarnthirunthaalum, avvidam avanutaiya mattath tholaippaarkkilum athika pallamaayiraamalum, athin mayir vellaiyaaka maaraamalum irunthaal, aasaariyan avanai aelunaal ataiththuvaiththu, If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

5 Aelaam naalil avanaip paarkkakkadavan; tholil rokam athikappadaamal, avan paarvaikku rokam nintirunthaal, aasaariyan iranndaantharam avanai aelunaal ataiththuvaiththu, And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

6 Iranndaantharam avanai aelaamnaalil paarkkakkadavan; tholil rokam athikappadaamal surungiyirunthaal, aasaariyan avanaich suththamullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; athu asaraு; avan than vasthirangalaith thoyththuch suththamaayiruppaanaaka. And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7 Thannaich suththamullavan entu theerkkiratharku avan thannai aasaariyanukkuk kaannpiththapinpu, asaraு tholil athikamaayp padarnthirunthaal, avan maraுpatiyum aasaariyanukkuth thannaik kaannpikkakkadavan. But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again.

8 Appoluthu asaraு tholilae padarnthathu entu aasaariyan kanndaal, aasaariyan avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; athu kushdarokam. And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.

9 Kushdarokam oru manithanukku irunthaal, avanai aasaariyanidaththil konnduvaravaenndum. When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

10 Appoluthu aasaariyan avanaip paarththu, tholilae vellaiyaana thatippirunthu, athu mayirai vennmaiyaaka maarappannnnittentum, anthath thatippulla idaththilae iranamaamsam unndentum kanndaal, And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;

11 Athu avan sareeraththilulla naalpatta kushdam; avan theettullavan. Aathalaal, aasaariyan avanai ataiththu vaikkaamal, theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan. It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.

12 Aasaariyan paarkkira idangalengum tholilae kushdam thonti, antha rokamullavanutaiya thalai thodangi avan kaalmattum athu thaekamuluvathaiyum mootiyirukkakkanndaal, And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;

13 Appoluthu aasaariyan paarththu, kushdam avan sareeram muluvathaiyum mootiyirunthaal, avanaich suththamullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; avan udampellaam vennmaiyaaypponapatiyaal, avan suththamullavan. Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

14 Aanaalum iranamaamsam avanil kaanappattal, avan theettullavan. But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

15 Aakaiyaal, iranamaamsaththai aasaariyan kaanumpothu, avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; iranamaamsam theettullathu; athu kushdam. And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.

16 Allathu, iranamaamsam maari vennmaiyaanaal, avan aasaariyanidaththukku varavaenndum. Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;

17 Aasaariyan avanaip paarththu, rokamulla idam vennmaiyaaka maarinathentu kanndaal, aasaariyan avanaich suththamullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; avan suththamullavan. And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

18 Sareeraththinmael punn unndaayirunthu aarippoy, The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

19 Avvidaththilae oru vellaiththatippaavathu sivappu kalantha oru vellaippadaraavathu unndaanaal, athai aasaariyanukkuk kaannpikkavaenndum. And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be showed to the priest;

20 Aasaariyan athaip paarththu, avvidam mattath tholaippaarkkilum kulinthirukkavum, athin mayir vellaiyaaka maariyirukkavum kanndaal, aasaariyan avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkavaenndum; athu punnnnil elumpina kushdam. And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

21 Aasaariyan athaip paarththu, athil vellaimayir illai entum, athu mattath tholaippaarkkilum kulinthiraamal surungiyirukkirathu entum kanndaanaakil, avanai aelunaal ataiththuvaiththu, But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

22 Athu tholil athikamaayp padarnthirukkak kanndaal, avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; athu kushdanthaan. And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

23 Antha vellaippadar athikappadaamal, avvalavil nintirukkumaakil, athu punnnnin thalumpaayirukkum; aakaiyaal, aasaariyan avanaich suththamullavan entu theerkkakkadavan. But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24 Oruvanutaiya sareeraththinmael neruppuppattathinaalae venthu, antha vaekkaadu aarippona idaththilae sivappaana padaraavathu vennmaiyaana padaraavathu unndaanaal, Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;

25 Aasaariyan athaippaarkkakkadavan; anthap padarilae mayir vennmaiyaaka maari, avvidam mattath tholaippaarkkilum pallamaayirunthaal, athu vaekkaattinaal elumpina kushdam; aakaiyaal, aasaariyan avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; athu kushdarokanthaan. Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

26 Aasaariyan athaip paarkkirapothu, padarilae vellaimayir illai entum, athu mattath tholaippaarkkilum kulinthiraamal, surungiyirukkirathu entum kanndaanaakil, avanai aelunaal ataiththu vaiththu, But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

27 Aelaamnaalil avanaip paarkkakkadavan; athu tholil athikamaayp padarnthirunthaal, aasaariyan avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; athu kushdarokam. And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

28 Padaraanathu tholil perukaamal, avvalavil nintu surungiyirunthathaakil, athu soottinaal unndaana thalumpu; aasaariyan avanaich suththamullavanentu theerkkakkadavan; athu soottinaal vantha vaekkaadu. And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.

29 Purushanukkaakilum sthireekkaakilum thalaiyilaavathu thaatiyilaavathu oru sori unndaanaal, If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;

30 Aasaariyan athaip paarththu, avvidam mattaththolaippaarkkilum pallamum athilae mayir pon niramum miruthuvumaayirukkakkanndaal, aasaariyan avanaith theettullavanentu theerkkakkadavan; athu thalaiyilum thaatiyilum unndaakira sorikushdam. Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

31 Aasaariyan anthach sorikushdaththaip paarkkumpothu, avvidam mattaththolaippaarkkilum pallamaayiraamalum athilae karaுththamayir illaamalum irukkakkanndaal, aasaariyan avanai aelu naal ataiththuvaiththu, And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

32 Aelaamnaalil aasaariyan athaip paarkkakkadavan; anthach sori idangaொllaamalum athilae ponniramayir illaamalum, avvidam mattaththolaip paarkkilum pallamillaamalum irunthaal, And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;

33 Anthach soriyulla idanthavira, matta yaavaiyum avan siraiththukkollakkadavan; pinpu, aasaariyan iranndaantharam avanai aelu naal ataiththuvaiththu, He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

34 Aelaam naalil athaip paarkkakkadavan; sori tholil idangaொllaamalum, avvidam mattath tholaippaarkkilum pallamillaamalum irunthaal, aasaariyan avanaich suththamullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; avan than vasthirangalaith thoyththapin suththamaayiruppaan. And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35 Avan suththamullavanentu theerkkappattapin, anthach sori tholil idangaொnndathaanaal, But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;

36 Aasaariyan avanaip paarkkakkadavan; sori tholil idangaொnntirunthaal, appoluthu mayir ponniramaa allavaa entu aasaariyan visaarikkavaenntiyathillai; avan theettullavanae. Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.

37 Avan paarvaikku anthach sori neengi, athil karaுththamayir mulaiththathaeyaakil, sori sosthamaayittaு; avan suththamullavan; aasaariyan avanaich suththamullavan entu theerkkakkadavan. But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38 Oru purushanukkaakilum sthireekkaakilum avarkal sareeraththinmael vellaip pullikal unndaayirunthaal, If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

39 Aasaariyan paarkkakkadavan; avarkal sareeraththilae mangina vellaip pullikal irunthaal, athu tholil elumpukira vellaith thaemal; avarkal suththamullavarkal. Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

40 Oruvanutaiya thalaimayir uthirnthu, avan mottaைyanaanaalum avan suththamaayirukkiraan. And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

41 Avanutaiya munnanthalai mayir uthirnthaal, avan arai mottaைyan; avanum suththamaayirukkiraan. And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

42 Mottaைththalaiyilaavathu araimottaைththalaiyilaavathu sivappukkalantha vennmaiyaana padar unndaanaal, athu athil elumpukira kushdam. And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

43 Aasaariyan avanaip paarkkakkadavan; avanutaiya mottaைththalaiyilaavathu araimottaைththalaiyilaavathu, matta angangalinmael unndaakkum kushdaththaippola, sivappukkalantha vennmaiyaana thatippu irukkak kanndaal, Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

44 Avan kushdaroki, avan theettullavan; aasaariyan avanaith theettullavan entu theerkkakkadavan; avan viyaathi avan thalaiyilae irukkirathu. He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

45 Antha viyaathi unndaayirukkira kushdaroki vasthiram kilinthavanaayum, than thalaiyai moodaathavanaayum irunthu, avan than thaatiyai mootikkonndu, theettu, theettu entu saththamidavaenndum. And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46 Antha viyaathi avanil irukkum naalvaraikkum theettullavanaaka ennnappadakkadavan; avan theettullavanae; aakaiyaal, avan thaniyae kutiyirukkavaenndum; avan kutiyiruppu paalayaththukkup purampae irukkakkadavathu. All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.

47 Aattumayir vasthiraththilaavathu, panjunool vasthiraththilaavathu, The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment;

48 Panjunool, allathu aattumayiraana paavilaavathu, ootaiyilaavathu, oru tholilaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvilaavathu kushdathosham thonti, Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woolen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

49 Vasthiraththilaavathu, tholilaavathu paavilaavathu, ootaiyilaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvilaavathu kushdathosham pachchaைyaayaavathu sivappaayaavathu kaanappattal athu kushdamaayirukkum; athai aasaariyanukkuk kaannpikkavaenndum. And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest:

50 Aasaariyan athaip paarththu, aelunaal ataiththuvaiththu, And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:

51 Aelaam naalilae athaip paarkkakkadavan; vasthiraththilaavathu, paavilaavathu, ootaiyilaavathu, tholilaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvilaavathu athu athikappattirunthaal, athu arikkira kushdam; athu theettayirukkum. And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

52 Anthath thosham irukkira aattu mayirinaalum panjunoolinaalum seytha vasthiraththaiyum paavaiyum, ootaiyaiyum, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvaiyum sutterikkakkadavan; athu arikkira kushdam; aakaiyaal akkiniyil sutterikkappadavaenndum. He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woolen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

53 Vasthiraththin paavilaavathu, ootaiyilaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvilaavathu, anthath thosham athikappadavillai entu aasaariyan kanndaal, And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

54 Appoluthu aasaariyan athaik kaluvachchaொlli, iranndaantharam aelu naal ataiththuvaiththu, Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

55 Athu kaluvappattapinpu athaip paarkkakkadavan; anthath thosham athikappadaathirunthaalum athu niram maaraathathaayirunthaal theettayirukkum; akkiniyil athaich sutterikkavaenndum; athu avvasthiraththin utpuraththilum velippuraththilum uruva arikkum. And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his color, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

56 Kaluvappattapinpu athu kuraுkirathentu aasaariyan kanndaanaeyaakil, athai vasthiraththilaavathu, tholilaavathu, paavilaavathu, ootaiyilaavathu iraathapatikku eduththuppodavaenndum. And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

57 Athu innum vasthiraththilaavathu, paavilaavathu, ootaiyilaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvilaavathu kaanappattal, athu padarukira thosham; aakaiyinaal athu ullathai akkiniyil sutterikkavaenndum. And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

58 Vasthiraththin paavaavathu, ootaiyaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvaavathu kaluvappattapinpu, anthath thosham athaivittup poyitteyaanaal, iranndaantharam kaluvappadavaenndum; appoluthu suththamaayirukkum. And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

59 Aattumayiraalaakilum panjunoolaalaakilum neytha vasthiraththaiyaavathu, paavaiyaavathu, ootaiyaiyaavathu, tholinaal seytha enthavitha vasthuvaiyaavathu, suththamentavathu theettentavathu theerkkiratharku, athinutaiya kushdathoshaththukkaduththa piramaanam ithuvae entar. This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
