Genesis 43 in Tamil

1 தேசத்திலே பஞ்சம் கொடிதாயிருந்தது. And the famine was sore in the land.

2 எகிப்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் கொண்டுவந்த தானியம் செலவழிந்தபோது, அவர்கள் தகப்பன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் திரும்பப் போய், நமக்குக் கொஞ்சம் தானியம் வாங்கிக்கொண்டு வாருங்கள் என்றான். And it came to pass, when they had eaten up the corn which they had brought out of Egypt, their father said unto them, Go again, buy us a little food.

3 அதற்கு யூதா: உங்கள் சகோதரன் உங்களோடேகூட வராவிட்டால், நீங்கள் என் முகத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று அந்த மனிதன் எங்களுக்குச் சத்தியமாய்ச் சொன்னான். And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

4 எங்கள் சகோதரனை நீர் எங்களோடேகூட அனுப்பினால், நாங்கள் போய், உமக்குத் தானியம் வாங்கிக்கொண்டு வருவோம். If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food:

5 அனுப்பாவிட்டால், நாங்கள் போகமாட்டோம்; உங்கள் சகோதரன் உங்களோடேகூட வராவிட்டால், நீங்கள் என் முகத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று அந்த மனிதன் எங்களோடே சொல்லியிருக்கிறான் என்றான். But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

6 அதற்கு இஸ்ரவேல்: உங்களுக்கு இன்னும் ஒரு சகோதரன் உண்டென்று நீங்கள் அந்த மனிதனுக்குச் சொல்லி, ஏன் எனக்கு இந்தத் துன்பத்தை வருவித்தீர்கள் என்றான். And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?

7 அதற்கு அவர்கள்: அந்த மனிதன், உங்கள் தகப்பன் இன்னும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறாரா? உங்களுக்கு இன்னும் ஒரு சகோதரன் உண்டா? என்று எங்களையும் எங்கள் வம்சத்தையும் குறித்து விபரமாய் விசாரித்தான்; அந்தக் கேள்விகளுக்குத் தக்கதாக உள்ளபடி அவனுக்குச் சொன்னோம்; உங்கள் சகோதரனை உங்களோடேகூட இங்கே கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்று அவன் சொல்லுவான் என்பதை நாங்கள் அறிந்திருந்தோமா என்றார்கள். And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?

And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.

I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:

10 நாங்கள் தாமதியாதிருந்தோமானால், இதற்குள்ளே இரண்டாந்தரம்போய்த் திரும்பிவந்திருப்போமே என்றான். For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.

11 அதற்கு அவர்கள் தகப்பனாகிய இஸ்ரவேல்: அப்படியானால், ஒன்று செய்யுங்கள்; இந்தத் தேசத்தின் உச்சிதமான வஸ்துக்களில் கொஞ்சம் பிசின் தைலமும், கொஞ்சம் தேனும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களும், வெள்ளைப்போளமும், தெரபிந்து கொட்டைகளும், வாதுமைக்கொட்டைகளும் உங்கள் சாக்குகளில் போட்டு, அந்த மனிதனுக்குக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொண்டுபோய்க் கொடுங்கள். And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

12 பணத்தை இரட்டிப்பாய் உங்கள் கைகளில் கொண்டுபோங்கள், சாக்குகளின் வாயிலே திரும்பக் கொண்டுவந்த பணத்தையும் கொண்டுபோங்கள்; அது கைப்பிசகாய் வந்திருக்கும். And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:

13 உங்கள் சகோதரனையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, அந்த மனிதனிடத்தில் மறுபடியும் போங்கள். Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the man:

14 அந்த மனிதன் அங்கிருக்கிற உங்கள் மற்றச் சகோதரனையும் பென்யமீனையும் உங்களுடனே அனுப்பிவிடும்படிக்கு, சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள தேவன் அவன் சமுகத்தில் உங்களுக்கு இரக்கங்கிடைக்கப்பண்ணுவாராக; நானோ பிள்ளையற்றுப் போனவனைப்போல் இருப்பேன் என்றான். And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.

15 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் காணிக்கையையும் தங்கள் கைகளில் இரட்டிப்பான பணத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, பென்யமீனையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, பிரயாணப்பட்டு, எகிப்துக்குப்போய், யோசேப்பின் சமுகத்தில் வந்து நின்றார்கள். And the men took that present, and they took double money in their hand and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and stood before Joseph.

And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men home, and slay, and make ready; for these men shall dine with me at noon.

19 யோசேப்பின் வீட்டு விசாரணைக் காரனண்டையில் சேர்ந்து, வீட்டு வாசற்படியிலே அவனோடே பேசி: And they came near to the steward of Joseph's house, and they communed with him at the door of the house,

20 ஆண்டவனே, நாங்கள் தானியம் கொள்ளும்படி முன்னே வந்து போனோமே; And said, O sir, we came indeed down at the first time to buy food:

21 நாங்கள் தங்கும் இடத்தில் போய் எங்கள் சாக்குகளைத் திறந்தபோது, நாங்கள் நிறுத்துக்கொடுத்த நிறையின்படியே அவனவன் பணம் அவனவன் சாக்கின் வாயிலே இருக்கக் கண்டோம்; அதை நாங்கள் திரும்பவும் எங்கள் கையிலே கொண்டுவந்திருக்கிறோம். And it came to pass, when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and, behold, every man's money was in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight: and we have brought it again in our hand.

22 மேலும், தானியம் கொள்ளும்படி வேறே பணமும் எங்கள் கையில் கொண்டுவந்திருக்கிறோம்; நாங்கள் முன் கொடுத்த பணத்தை எங்கள் சாக்குகளில் போட்டது இன்னார் என்று அறியோம் என்றார்கள். And other money have we brought down in our hands to buy food: we cannot tell who put our money in our sacks.

23 அதற்கு அவன்: உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம்; பயப்படவேண்டாம்; உங்கள் தேவனும் உங்கள் தகப்பனுடைய தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறவர் உங்கள் சாக்குகளில் அதை உங்களுக்குப் புதையலாகக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; நீங்கள் கொடுத்த பணம் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தது என்று சொல்லி, சிமியோனை வெளியே அழைத்து வந்து, அவர்களிடத்தில் விட்டான். And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them.

And the man brought the men into Joseph's house, and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses provender.

28 அதற்கு அவர்கள்: எங்கள் தகப்பனாராகிய உமது அடியான் சுகமாயிருக்கிறார், இன்னும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லி, குனிந்து வணங்கினார்கள். And they answered, Thy servant our father is in good health, he is yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.

29 அவன் தன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, தன் தாய் பெற்ற குமாரனாகிய தன் சகோதரன் பென்யமீனைக் கண்டு, நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சொன்ன உங்கள் இளைய சகோதரன் இவன்தானா என்று கேட்டு, மகனே, தேவன் உனக்குக் கிருபைசெய்யக்கடவர் என்றான். And he lifted up his eyes, and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother's son, and said, Is this your younger brother, of whom ye spake unto me? And he said, God be gracious unto thee, my son.

30 யோசேப்பின் உள்ளம் தன் சகோதரனுக்காகப் பொங்கினபடியால், அவன் அழுகிறதற்கு இடம் தேடி, துரிதமாய் அறைக்குள்ளே போய், அங்கே அழுதான். And Joseph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon his brother: and he sought where to weep; and he entered into his chamber, and wept there.

And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

33 அவனுக்கு முன்பாக, மூத்தவன் முதல் இளையவன்வரைக்கும் அவனவன் வயதின்படியே அவர்களை உட்காரவைத்தார்கள்; அதற்காக அவர்கள், ஒருவரை ஒருவர் பார்த்து ஆச்சரியப்பட்டார்கள். And they sat before him, the firstborn according to his birthright, and the youngest according to his youth: and the men marveled one at another.

And he took and sent messes unto them from before him: but Benjamin's mess was five times so much as any of theirs. And they drank, and were merry with him.

And it came to pass, when they had eaten up the corn which they had brought out of Egypt, their father said unto them, Go again, buy us a little food.

3 Atharku yoothaa: ungal sakotharan ungalotaekooda varaavittal, neengal en mukaththaik kaannpathillai entu antha manithan engalukkuch saththiyamaaych sonnaan. And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

4 Engal sakotharanai neer engalotaekooda anuppinaal, naangal poy, umakkuth thaaniyam vaangikkonndu varuvom. If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food:

5 Anuppaavittal, naangal pokamaattaோm; ungal sakotharan ungalotaekooda varaavittal, neengal en mukaththaik kaannpathillai entu antha manithan engalotae solliyirukkiraan entan. But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

6 Atharku Israel: ungalukku innum oru sakotharan unndentu neengal antha manithanukkuch solli, aen enakku inthath thunpaththai varuviththeerkal entan. And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?

7 Atharku avarkal: antha manithan, ungal thakappan innum uyirotirukkiraaraa? Ungalukku innum oru sakotharan unndaa? Entu engalaiyum engal vamsaththaiyum kuriththu viparamaay visaariththaan; anthak kaelvikalukkuth thakkathaaka ullapati avanukkuch sonnom; ungal sakotharanai ungalotaekooda ingae konnduvaarungal entu avan solluvaan enpathai naangal arinthirunthomaa entarkal. And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?

8 Pinnum, yoothaa than thakappanaakiya isravaelai Nnokki: neerum naangalum engal kulanthaikalum saakaamal uyirotirukkumpati, naangal purappattup pokirom, pillaiyaanndaanai ennotae anuppum. And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.

9 Avanukkaaka naan uththaravaathampannnuvaen; avanai ennidaththilae kaelum, naan avanai ummidaththil konnduvanthu, umakku munpaaka niraுththaamarponaal, ennaalum anthak kuttam enmael iruppathaaka. I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:

10 Naangal thaamathiyaathirunthomaanaal, itharkullae iranndaantharampoyth thirumpivanthiruppomae entan. For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.

11 Atharku avarkal thakappanaakiya Israel: appatiyaanaal, ontu seyyungal; inthath thaesaththin uchchithamaana vasthukkalil konjam pisin thailamum, konjam thaenum, kanthavarkkangalum, vellaippolamum, therapinthu kottaைkalum, vaathumaikkottaைkalum ungal saakkukalil pottu, antha manithanukkuk kaannikkaiyaakak konndupoyk kodungal. 12 Panaththai irattippaay ungal kaikalil konndupongal, saakkukalin vaayilae thirumpak konnduvantha panaththaiyum konndupongal; athu kaippisakaay vanthirukkum. And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:

13 Ungal sakotharanaiyum koottikkonndu, antha manithanidaththil maraுpatiyum pongal. Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the man:

14 Antha manithan angirukkira ungal mattach sakotharanaiyum penyameenaiyum ungaludanae anuppividumpatikku, sarva vallamaiyulla Dhevan avan samukaththil ungalukku irakkangitaikkappannnuvaaraaka; naano pillaiyattaுp ponavanaippol iruppaen entan. And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.

15 Appoluthu avarkal kaannikkaiyaiyum thangal kaikalil irattippaana panaththaiyum eduththukkonndu, penyameenaiyum koottikkonndu, pirayaanappattu, ekipthukkuppoy, yoseppin samukaththil vanthu nintarkal. And the men took that present, and they took double money in their hand and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and stood before Joseph.

16 Penyameen avarkalotaekooda vanthirukkirathai yoseppu kanndu, than veettu visaarannaikkaaranai Nnokki: nee intha manitharai veettukku alaiththuppoy, saappaattukku vaenntiyavaikalai atiththu, aayaththampannnu, maththiyaanaththilae intha manithar ennotae saappiduvaarkal entan. And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men home, and slay, and make ready; for these men shall dine with me at noon.

18 Thaangal yoseppin veettukkuk konndupokappadukirathai avarkal kanndu payanthu, munnae nammutaiya saakkukalil iruntha panaththinimiththam nammael kuttam sumaththi, nammaip pitiththuch siraikalaakki, nammutaiya kaluthaikalai eduththukkollumpati nammaik konndupokiraarkal entu solli, And the men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph's house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses.

19 Yoseppin veettu visaarannaik kaarananntaiyil sernthu, veettu vaasarpatiyilae avanotae paesi: And they came near to the steward of Joseph's house, and they communed with him at the door of the house,

20 Aanndavanae, naangal thaaniyam kollumpati munnae vanthu ponomae; And said, O sir, we came indeed down at the first time to buy food:

21 Naangal thangum idaththil poy engal saakkukalaith thiranthapothu, naangal niraுththukkoduththa niraiyinpatiyae avanavan panam avanavan saakkin vaayilae irukkak kanntoom; athai naangal thirumpavum engal kaiyilae konnduvanthirukkirom. And it came to pass, when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and, behold, every man's money was in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight: and we have brought it again in our hand.

22 Maelum, thaaniyam kollumpati vaeraே panamum engal kaiyil konnduvanthirukkirom; naangal mun koduththa panaththai engal saakkukalil pottathu innaar entu ariyom entarkal. And other money have we brought down in our hands to buy food: we cannot tell who put our money in our sacks.

23 Atharku avan: ungalukkuch samaathaanam; payappadavaenndaam; ungal thaevanum ungal thakappanutaiya thaevanumaayirukkiravar ungal saakkukalil athai ungalukkup puthaiyalaakak kattalaiyittar; neengal koduththa panam ennidaththil vanthu sernthathu entu solli, simiyonai veliyae alaiththu vanthu, avarkalidaththil vittan. And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them.

24 Maelum antha manithan avarkalai yoseppin veettukkullae koottikkonndupoy, avarkal thangal kaalkalaik kaluvumpati thannnneer koduththu, avarkalutaiya kaluthaikalukkuth theevanam pottan. And the man brought the men into Joseph's house, and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses provender.

25 Thaangal angae pojanam seyyappokirathai avarkal kaelvippattapatiyaal, maththiyaanaththil yoseppu varumalavum kaannikkaiyai aayaththamaay vaiththuk kaaththukkonntirunthaarkal. And they made ready the present against Joseph came at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.

26 Yoseppu veettukku vanthapothu, avarkal thangal kaiyil iruntha kaannikkaiyai veettukkul avanidaththil konndupoy vaiththu, tharaimattum kuninthu, avanai vananginaarkal. And when Joseph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to the earth.

27 Appoluthu avan: avarkal sukaseythiyai visaariththu, neengal sonna muthirvayathaana ungal thakappan sukamaayirukkiraaraa? Avar innum uyirotirukkiraaraa? Entu avarkalidaththil visaariththaan. And he asked them of their welfare, and said, Is your father well, the old man of whom ye spake? Is he yet alive?

28 Atharku avarkal: engal thakappanaaraakiya umathu atiyaan sukamaayirukkiraar, innum uyirotirukkiraar entu solli, kuninthu vananginaarkal. And they answered, Thy servant our father is in good health, he is yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.

29 Avan than kannkalai aeraெduththu, than thaay petta kumaaranaakiya than sakotharan penyameenaik kanndu, neengal enakkuch sonna ungal ilaiya sakotharan ivanthaanaa entu kaettu, makanae, Dhevan unakkuk kirupaiseyyakkadavar entan.
