அப்பொழுது அவன்: அவர்கள் சுகசெய்தியை விசாரித்து, நீங்கள் சொன்ன முதிர்வயதான உங்கள் தகப்பன் சுகமாயிருக்கிறாரா? அவர் இன்னும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறாரா? என்று அவர்களிடத்தில் விசாரித்தான்.

And he asked וַיִּשְׁאַ֤ל šāʾal sha-AL
לָהֶם֙
them of welfare, לְשָׁל֔וֹם šālôm sha-LOME
and said, וַיֹּ֗אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
well, הֲשָׁל֛וֹם šālôm sha-LOME
your father אֲבִיכֶ֥ם ʾāb av
the old man הַזָּקֵ֖ן zāqēn za-KANE
of whom אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
ye spake? אֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם ʾāmar ah-MAHR
he yet הַֽעוֹדֶ֖נּוּ ʿôd ode
alive? חָֽי׃ ḥay hai
