1 அதன்பின்பு இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பஸ்காவை ஆசரிக்கும்படி எருசலேமில் இருக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு வாருங்கள் என்று எசேக்கியா இஸ்ரவேல் யூதா எங்கும் ஆட்களை அனுப்பினதும் அன்றி, எப்பிராயீம் மனாசே கோத்திரங்களுக்கும் நிருபங்களை எழுதியனுப்பினான். And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

2 பஸ்காவை இரண்டாம் மாதத்தில் ஆசரிக்கும்படி, ராஜாவும் அவனுடைய பிரபுக்களும் எருசலேமிலுள்ள சபையார் யாவரும் யோசனைபண்ணியிருந்தார்கள். For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.

3 ஆசாரியர் போதுமானபேர் தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணாமலும், ஜனங்கள் எருசலேமில் இன்னும் கூடிவராமலும் இருந்தபடியினால், அதின் காலத்தில் அதை ஆசரிக்கக் கூடாமற்போயிற்று. For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

4 இந்தக் காரியம் ராஜாவின் பார்வைக்கும் சமஸ்த சபையின் பார்வைக்கும் நியாயமாய்க் காணப்பட்டது. And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.

5 இருக்கிறபடி வெகுகாலமாய் அவர்கள் அதை ஆசரிக்கவில்லை; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பஸ்காவை ஆசரிக்கும்படி எருசலேமுக்கு வாருங்கள் என்று பெயெர்செபாமுதல் தாண்மட்டுமுள்ள இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு பறை சாற்றுவித்தார்கள். So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.

6 அப்படியே ராஜாவும் அவனுடைய பிரபுக்களும் கொடுத்த நிருபங்களை அஞ்சல்காரர் வாங்கி, ராஜாவுடைய கட்டளையின்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் யூதா எங்கும்போய்: இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரே, ஆபிரகாம் இஸ்ரவேல் என்பவர்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்துக்குத் திரும்புங்கள்; அப்பொழுது அசீரியருடைய ராஜாக்களின் கைக்குத் தப்பியிருக்கிற மீதியான உங்களண்டைக்கு அவர் திரும்புவார். So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.

7 தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குத் துரோகம்பண்ணின உங்கள் பிதாக்களைப்போலவும் உங்கள் சகோதரரைப்போலவும் இராதேயுங்கள்; அதற்காக, நீங்கள் காண்கிறபடியே, அவர்கள் பாழாய்ப்போகிறதற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தாரே. And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.

For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

10 அப்படி அந்த அஞ்சல்காரர் எப்பிராயீம் மனாசே தேசங்களில் செபுலோன் மட்டுக்கும் ஊரூராகத் திரிந்தார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் இவர்களைப்பார்த்து நகைத்துப் பரிகாசம்பண்ணினார்கள். So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

11 ஆகிலும் ஆசேரிலும், மனாசேயிலும், செபுலோனிலும், சிலர் மனத்தாழ்மையாகி எருசலேமுக்கு வந்தார்கள். Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.

12 யூதாவிலும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே, ராஜாவும் பிரபுக்களும் கட்டளையிட்டபிரகாரம் செய்கிறதற்கு, தேவனுடைய கரம் அவர்களை ஒருமனப்படுத்திற்று. Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.

13 அப்படியே இரண்டாம் மாதத்தில் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பப்பண்டிகையை ஆசரிக்க வெகு ஜனங்கள் எருசலேமில் மகாபெரிய சபையாய்க் கூடினார்கள். And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.

14 அவர்கள் எழும்பி, எருசலேமில் உண்டான பலிபீடங்களையும், தூபபீடங்களையும் அகற்றிக் கீதரோன் ஆற்றிலேபோட்டார்கள். And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.

15 பின்பு அந்த இரண்டாம் மாதம் பதினாலாந்தேதியில் பஸ்காவின் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளை அடித்தார்கள்; ஆசாரியரும் லேவியரும் வெட்கி, தங்களைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணி, சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவந்து, Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.

16 தேவனுடைய மனுஷனாகிய மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கு ஏற்ற தங்கள் முறைமையின்படியே தங்கள் ஸ்தானத்திலே நின்றார்கள்; ஆசாரியர் லேவியரின் கையிலிருந்து இரத்தத்தை வாங்கித்தெளித்தார்கள். And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.

17 சபையிலே அநேகர் தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணிக்கொள்ளாதிருந்தார்கள்; ஆகையால் சுத்தமில்லா எல்லாரையும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ண, லேவியர் அவர்களுக்காகப் பஸ்காவின் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளை அடிக்கும் காரியத்தை விசாரித்தார்கள். For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.

18 அதேனென்றால் எப்பிராயீம், மனாசே, இசக்கார், செபுலோன் மனுஷரில் ஏராளமான அநேகம் ஜனங்கள் தங்களைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணிக்கொள்ளாதிருந்தும், எழுதியிராதபிரகாரமாகப் பஸ்காவைச் சாப்பிட்டார்கள். For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one

19 எசேக்கியா அவர்களுக்காக விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணி, தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரான தேவனைத் தேடும்படிக்கு, தங்கள் இருதயத்தை நேராக்கினவர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கேற்ற சுத்தாங்கம் அடையாதிருந்தாலும், கிருபையுள்ள கர்த்தர் அவர்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் மன்னிப்பாராக என்றான். That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.

20 கர்த்தர் எசேக்கியாவின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டு, ஜனங்களுக்கு அநுகூலஞ்செய்தார். And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.

21 அப்படியே எருசலேமிலே காணப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பப்பண்டிகையை ஏழுநாளளவும் மகா ஆனந்தத்தோடே ஆசரித்தார்கள்; லேவியரும் ஆசாரியரும் தினந்தினம் கர்த்தருக்கென்று பேரோசையாய்த் தொனிக்கும் கீதவாத்தியங்களால் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.

22 கர்த்தருக்கு அடுத்த காரியத்தில் நல்ல உணர்வுள்ள எல்லா லேவியரோடும் எசேக்கியா பட்சமாய்ப் பேசினான்; இப்படி அவர்கள் பண்டிகையின் ஏழுநாளளவும் புசித்து, ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைத் துதித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

23 பின்பு வேறே ஏழுநாளளவும் ஆசரிக்கச் சபையார் எல்லாரும் யோசனைபண்ணி, அந்த ஏழுநாளும் ஆனந்தத்தோடே ஆசரித்தார்கள். And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.

24 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய எசேக்கியா சபைக்கு ஆயிரம் காளைகளையும் ஏழாயிரம் ஆடுகளையும் கொடுத்தான்; பிரபுக்களும் சபைக்கு ஆயிரம் காளைகளையும் பதினாயிரம் ஆடுகளையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; ஆசாரியரில் அநேகம்பேர் தங்களைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணினார்கள். For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.

25 யூதாவின் சபையனைத்தும், ஆசாரியரும், லேவியரும், இஸ்ரவேலிலிருந்து வந்தவர்களை சபையனைத்துமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலிருந்துவந்த அந்நியரும் யூதாவில் குடியிருந்தவர்களும் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருந்தார்கள். And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.

26 அப்படியே எருசலேமில் மகா சந்தோஷம் உண்டாயிருந்தது; தாவீதின் குமாரனாகிய சாலொமோன் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய ராஜாவின் நாட்கள்முதற்கொண்டு இப்படி எருசலேமில் நடந்ததில்லை. So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.

27 லேவியரான ஆசாரியர்கள் எழுந்துநின்று, ஜனத்தை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய சத்தம் கேட்கப்பட்டு, அவர்களுடைய விண்ணப்பம் அவருடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலமாகிய பரலோகத்தில் வந்து எட்டினது. Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

1 Athanpinpu isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarukkup paskaavai aasarikkumpati erusalaemil irukkira karththarutaiya aalayaththirku vaarungal entu esekkiyaa Israel yoothaa engum aatkalai anuppinathum anti, eppiraayeem manaase koththirangalukkum nirupangalai eluthiyanuppinaan. And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

2 Paskaavai iranndaam maathaththil aasarikkumpati, raajaavum avanutaiya pirapukkalum erusalaemilulla Sabaiyaar yaavarum yosanaipannnniyirunthaarkal. For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.

3 Aasaariyar pothumaanapaer thangalaip Parisuththampannnnaamalum, janangal erusalaemil innum kootivaraamalum irunthapatiyinaal, athin kaalaththil athai aasarikkak koodaamarpoyittaு. For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

4 Inthak kaariyam raajaavin paarvaikkum samastha Sabaiyin paarvaikkum niyaayamaayk kaanappattathu. And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.

5 Irukkirapati vekukaalamaay avarkal athai aasarikkavillai; aakaiyaal isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarukkup paskaavai aasarikkumpati erusalaemukku vaarungal entu peyersepaamuthal thaannmattumulla isravaelukku parai saattaுviththaarkal. 6 Appatiyae raajaavum avanutaiya pirapukkalum koduththa nirupangalai anjalkaarar vaangi, raajaavutaiya kattalaiyinpatiyae Israel yoothaa engumpoy: Israel puththirarae, Abraham Israel enpavarkalutaiya thaevanaakiya karththaridaththukkuth thirumpungal; appoluthu aseeriyarutaiya raajaakkalin kaikkuth thappiyirukkira meethiyaana ungalanntaikku avar thirumpuvaar. 7 Thangal pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththarukkuth thurokampannnnina ungal pithaakkalaippolavum ungal sakothararaippolavum iraathaeyungal; atharkaaka, neengal kaannkirapatiyae, avarkal paalaayppokiratharku oppukkoduththaarae. And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.

8 Ippothum ungal pithaakkalaippola ungal kaluththaik katinappaduththaathaeyungal; neengal karththarukku udanpattu, avar sathaakaalaththukkum Parisuththampannnnina avarutaiya Parisuththasthalaththirku vanthu, ungal thaevanaakiya karththaraich seviyungal; appoluthu avarutaiya ukkiramaana kopam ungalaivittuth thirumpum. 9 Neengal karththaridaththukkuth thirumpinaal, ungal sakothararum ungal pillaikalum thangalaich siraipitiththavarkalukku munpaaka irakkam peraுkiratharkum, intha thaesaththirkuth thirumpukiratharkum athu aethuvaakum; ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar kirupaiyum irakkamumullavar; neengal avaridaththirkuth thirumpinaal, avar thammutaiya mukaththai ungalaivittu vilakkuvathillai entarkal. For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

10 Appati antha anjalkaarar eppiraayeem manaase thaesangalil sepulon mattukkum oorooraakath thirinthaarkal; aanaalum avarkal ivarkalaippaarththu nakaiththup parikaasampannnninaarkal. 12 Yoothaavilum karththarutaiya vaarththaiyinpatiyae, raajaavum pirapukkalum kattalaiyittapirakaaram seykiratharku, thaevanutaiya karam avarkalai orumanappaduththittaு. 14 Avarkal elumpi, erusalaemil unndaana palipeedangalaiyum, thoopapeedangalaiyum akattik geetharon aattilaepottarkal. And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.

15 Pinpu antha iranndaam maatham pathinaalaanthaethiyil paskaavin aattukkuttikalai atiththaarkal; aasaariyarum laeviyarum vetki, thangalaich suththampannnni, sarvaanga thakanapalikalaik karththarutaiya aalayaththirkuk konnduvanthu, Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.

16 Thaevanutaiya manushanaakiya Mosesyin niyaayappiramaanaththirku aetta thangal muraimaiyinpatiyae thangal sthaanaththilae nintarkal; aasaariyar laeviyarin kaiyilirunthu iraththaththai vaangiththeliththaarkal. 17 Sabaiyilae anaekar thangalaip Parisuththampannnnikkollaathirunthaarkal; aakaiyaal suththamillaa ellaaraiyum karththarukkup Parisuththampannna, laeviyar avarkalukkaakap paskaavin aattukkuttikalai atikkum kaariyaththai visaariththaarkal. 19 Esekkiyaa avarkalukkaaka vinnnappampannnni, thangal pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththaraana thaevanaith thaedumpatikku, thangal iruthayaththai naeraakkinavarkal Parisuththa sthalaththirkaetta suththaangam ataiyaathirunthaalum, kirupaiyulla Karththar avarkal ellaarukkum mannippaaraaka entan. 22 Karththarukku aduththa kaariyaththil nalla unarvulla ellaa laeviyarodum esekkiyaa patchamaayp paesinaan; ippati avarkal panntikaiyin aelunaalalavum pusiththu, sthoththirapalikalaich seluththi, thangal pithaakkalin thaevanaakiya karththaraith thuthiththukkonntirunthaarkal. And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

24 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya esekkiyaa Sabaikku aayiram kaalaikalaiyum aelaayiram aadukalaiyum koduththaan; pirapukkalum Sabaikku aayiram kaalaikalaiyum pathinaayiram aadukalaiyum koduththaarkal; aasaariyaril anaekampaer thangalaich suththampannnninaarkal. For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.

25 Yoothaavin Sabaiyanaiththum, aasaariyarum, laeviyarum, isravaelilirunthu vanthavarkalai Sabaiyanaiththumaakiya Israel thaesaththilirunthuvantha anniyarum yoothaavil kutiyirunthavarkalum makilchchiyaayirunthaarkal. And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.

26 Appatiyae erusalaemil makaa santhosham unndaayirunthathu; thaaveethin kumaaranaakiya saalomon ennum isravaelutaiya raajaavin naatkalmutharkonndu ippati erusalaemil nadanthathillai. So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
