1 Samuel 26 in Tamil

1 பின்பு சீப் ஊரார் கிபியாவிலிருக்கிற சவுலிடத்தில் வந்து: தாவீது எஷிமோனுக்கு எதிரான ஆகிலாமேட்டில் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறான் என்றார்கள். And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?

2 அப்பொழுது சவுல்: சீப்வனாந்தரத்திலே தாவீதைத் தேடும்படி எழுந்து, இஸ்ரவேலிலே தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட மூவாயிரம் பேரோடுங் கூட, சீப் வனாந்தரத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போனான். Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.

3 சவுல் எஷிமோனுக்கு எதிரே வழியண்டையிலிருக்கிற ஆகிலாமேட்டிலே பாளயமிறங்கினான்; தாவீது வனாந்தரத்தில் தங்கி, சவுல் தன்னைத் தொடர்ந்து வனாந்தரத்திற்கு வருகிறதைக் கண்டு, And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.

4 தாவீது வேவுகாரரை அனுப்பி, சவுல் வந்தது நிச்சயம் என்று அறிந்துகொண்டான். David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul was come in very deed.

5 பின்பு தாவீது எழுந்து, சவுல் பாளயமிறங்கின இடத்திற்குப் போய், சவுலும் நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேர் என்னும் அவன் படைத்தலைவனும் படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிற இடத்தைப் பார்த்தான்; சவுல் இரதங்களிருக்கிற இடத்திலே படுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான்; ஜனங்கள் அவனைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளயமிறங்கியிருந்தார்கள். And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him.

6 தாவீது ஏத்தியனாகிய அகிமெலேக்கையும், செருயாவின் குமாரனும் யோவாபின் சகோதரனுமாகிய அபிசாயையும் பார்த்து: என்னோடேகூடச் சவுலிடத்திற்குப் பாளயத்தில் இறங்கிவருகிறவன் யார் என்றதற்கு, அபிசாய்: நான் உம்மோடேகூட வருகிறேன் என்றான். Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee.

7 அப்படியே தாவீதும் அபிசாயும் இராத்திரியிலே அந்த ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே வந்தார்கள்; இதோ, சவுல் இரதங்களிருக்கிற இடத்திலே படுத்து நித்திரைபண்ணினான்; அவன் தலைமாட்டில் அவனுடைய ஈட்டி நிலத்திலே குத்தியிருந்தது; அவனைச் சுற்றிலும் அப்னேரும் ஜனங்களும் படுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.

8 அப்பொழுது அபிசாய் தாவீதைப் பார்த்து: இன்று தேவன் உம்முடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; இப்போதும் நான் அவனை ஈட்டியினால் இரண்டு குத்தாகக் குத்தாமல், ஒரே குத்தாக நிலத்தில் உருவக் குத்தட்டுமா என்றான். Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.

9 தாவீது அபிசாயைப் பார்த்து: அவரைக் கொல்லாதே; கர்த்தர் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணுவித்தவர்மேல் தன் கையைப் போட்டு, குற்றமில்லாமற்போகிறவன் யார்? என்று சொன்னான். And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?

10 பின்னும் தாவீது: கர்த்தர் அவரை அடித்து, அல்லது அவருடைய காலம் வந்து, அவர் மரித்து, அல்லது அவர் யுத்தத்திற்குப்போய் மாண்டாலொழிய, David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.

The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.

12 தாவீது சவுலின் தலைமாட்டில் இருந்த ஈட்டியையும், தண்ணீர்ச் செம்பையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டபின்பு, புறப்பட்டுபோனார்கள்; அதை ஒருவரும் காணவில்லை, அறியவுமில்லை, ஒருவரும் விழித்துக்கொள்ளவுமில்லை; கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு அயர்ந்த நித்திரை வருவித்ததினால், அவர்களெல்லாரும் தூங்கினார்கள். So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.

13 தாவீது கடந்து, அந்தப் பக்கத்திற்குப் போய், தங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கும் நடுவே போந்த இடமுண்டாக, தூரத்திலிருக்கிற மலையின் கொடுமுடியிலே, Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them:

14 ஜனங்களுக்கும் நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேருக்கும் நேராக நின்று கூப்பிட்டு: அப்னேரே, உத்தரவு சொல்லமாட்டீரா என்றான்; அதற்கு அப்னேர்: ராஜாவுக்கு நேராகக் கூக்குரலிடுகிற நீ யார் என்றான். And David cried to the people, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, Answerest thou not, Abner? Then Abner answered and said, Who art thou that criest to the king?

15 அப்பொழுது தாவீது அப்னேரை நோக்கி: நீர் வீரன் அல்லவா? இஸ்ரவேலில் உமக்குச் சரியானவன் யார்? பின்னை நீர் உம்முடைய ஆண்டவனாகிய ராஜாவைக் காக்காமற்போனதென்ன? ஜனத்தில் ஒருவன் உம்முடைய ஆண்டவனாகிய ராஜாவைக் கொல்லும்படி வந்திருந்தானே. And David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord.

16 நீர் செய்த இந்தக் காரியம் நல்லதல்ல; கர்த்தர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணின உங்கள் ஆண்டவனை நீங்கள் காக்காமற்போனபடியினால், நீங்கள் மரணத்திற்குப் பாத்திரவான்கள்; இப்போதும் ராஜாவின் தலைமாட்டில் இருந்த அவருடைய ஈட்டியும் தண்ணீர்ச் செம்பும் எங்கே என்று பாரும் என்றான். This thing is not good that thou hast done. As the LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the LORD's anointed. And now see where the king's spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his bolster.

17 அப்பொழுது சவுல்: தாவீதின் சத்தத்தை அறிந்து, என் குமாரனாகிய தாவீதே, இது உன் சத்தமல்லவா என்றான். அதற்குத் தாவீது: ராஜாவாகிய என் ஆண்டவனே, இது என் சத்தந்தான் என்று சொல்லி, And Saul knew David's voice, and said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And David said, It is my voice, my lord, O king.

18 பின்னும்: என் ஆண்டவனாகிய நீர் உம்முடைய அடியானை இப்படிப் பின் தொடருகிறது என்ன? நான் என்னசெய்தேன்? என்னிடத்தில் என்ன பொல்லாப்பு இருக்கிறது? And he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand?

19 இப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய என் ஆண்டவன் தம்முடைய அடியானுடைய வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்பாராக; கர்த்தர் உம்மை எனக்கு விரோதமாக எடுத்து விட்டதுண்டானால், அதற்கு அவர் காணிக்கையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வாராக; மனுபுத்திரர் அதைச் செய்தார்களேயாகில், அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகச் சபிக்கப்படக்கடவர்கள்; அவர்கள்: நீ போய், அந்நிய தேவர்களைச் சேவி என்று சொல்லி, அவர்கள் இன்று என்னைக் கர்த்தருடைய சுதந்தரத்திற்கு அடுத்தவனாயிராதபடிக்கு, துரத்திவிட்டார்களே. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

20 இப்போதும் கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்தில் என் இரத்தம் தரையில் விழாதிருப்பதாக; மலைகளில் ஒரு கவுதாரியை வேட்டையாடுகிறதுபோல, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா ஒரு தெள்ளுப்பூச்சியைத் தேடவந்தாரோ என்றான். Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.

21 அப்பொழுது சவுல்: நான் பாவஞ்செய்தேன்; என் குமாரனாகிய தாவீதே, திரும்பிவா; என் ஜீவன் இன்றையதினம் உன் பார்வைக்கு அருமையாயிருந்தபடியால், இனி உனக்கு ஒரு பொல்லாப்புஞ்செய்யேன்; இதோ, நான் மதியற்றவனாய் மகா பெரிய தப்பிதஞ்செய்தேன் என்றான். Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.

23 கர்த்தர் அவனவனுக்கு அவனவன் நீதிக்கும் உண்மைக்கும் தக்கதாகப்பலன் அளிப்பாராக; இன்று கர்த்தர் உம்மை என்கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்திருந்தும், கர்த்தர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவர்மேல், என் கையை நீட்ட மனதில்லாதிருந்தேன். The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed.

24 இதோ, உம்முடைய ஜீவன் இன்றையதினம் என் பார்வைக்கு எப்படி அருமையாயிருந்ததோ, அப்படியே என் ஜீவனும் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்கு அருமையாயிருப்பதினால், அவர் என்னை எல்லா உபத்திரவத்திற்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவாராக என்றான். And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.

25 அப்பொழுது சவுல் தாவீதை நோக்கி: என் குமாரனாகிய தாவீதே, நீ ஆசிர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன்; நீ பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்வாய், மேன்மேலும் பலப்படுவாய் என்றான்; அப்படியே தாவீது தன் வழியே போனான்; சவுலும் தன் ஸ்தானத்திற்குத் திரும்பினான். Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.

1 Pinpu seep ooraar kipiyaavilirukkira savulidaththil vanthu: David eshimonukku ethiraana aakilaamaettil oliththukkonntirukkiraan entarkal. And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?

2 Appoluthu savul: seepvanaantharaththilae thaaveethaith thaedumpati elunthu, isravaelilae therinthukollappatta moovaayiram paerodung kooda, seep vanaantharaththirkup purappattupponaan. Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.

3 Savul eshimonukku ethirae valiyanntaiyilirukkira aakilaamaettilae paalayamiranginaan; David vanaantharaththil thangi, savul thannaith thodarnthu vanaantharaththirku varukirathaik kanndu, And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.

4 David vaevukaararai anuppi, savul vanthathu nichchayam entu arinthukonndaan. David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul was come in very deed.

5 Pinpu David elunthu, savul paalayamirangina idaththirkup poy, savulum naerin kumaaranaakiya apnaer ennum avan pataiththalaivanum paduththukkonntirukkira idaththaip paarththaan; savul irathangalirukkira idaththilae paduththuk konntirunthaan; janangal avanaich suttilum paalayamirangiyirunthaarkal. And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him.

6 David aeththiyanaakiya akimelaekkaiyum, seruyaavin kumaaranum yovaapin sakotharanumaakiya apisaayaiyum paarththu: ennotaekoodach savulidaththirkup paalayaththil irangivarukiravan yaar entatharku, apisaay: naan ummotaekooda varukiraேn entan. Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee.

7 Appatiyae Davidm apisaayum iraaththiriyilae antha janangalukkullae vanthaarkal; itho, savul irathangalirukkira idaththilae paduththu niththiraipannnninaan; avan thalaimaattil avanutaiya eetti nilaththilae kuththiyirunthathu; avanaich suttilum apnaerum janangalum paduththukkonntirunthaarkal. So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.

8 Appoluthu apisaay thaaveethaip paarththu: intu Dhevan ummutaiya kaiyil oppukkoduththaar; ippothum naan avanai eettiyinaal iranndu kuththaakak kuththaamal, orae kuththaaka nilaththil uruvak kuththattumaa entan. Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.

9 David apisaayaip paarththu: avaraik kollaathae; Karththar apishaekam pannnuviththavarmael than kaiyaip pottu, kuttamillaamarpokiravan yaar? Entu sonnaan. And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?

10 Pinnum David: Karththar avarai atiththu, allathu avarutaiya kaalam vanthu, avar mariththu, allathu avar yuththaththirkuppoy maanndaaloliya, David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.

11 Naan en kaiyaik Karththar apishaekampannnuviththavarmael podaathapatikku, Karththar ennaik kaakkakkadavar entu karththarutaiya jeevanaik konndu sollukiraேn; ippothum avar thalaimaattil irukkira eettiyaiyum, thannnneerch sempaiyum eduththukkonndu povom entan. The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.

12 David savulin thalaimaattil iruntha eettiyaiyum, thannnneerch sempaiyum eduththukkonndapinpu, purappattuponaarkal; athai oruvarum kaanavillai, ariyavumillai, oruvarum viliththukkollavumillai; Karththar avarkalukku ayarntha niththirai varuviththathinaal, avarkalellaarum thoonginaarkal. So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.

13 David kadanthu, anthap pakkaththirkup poy, thangalukkum avarkalukkum naduvae pontha idamunndaaka, thooraththilirukkira malaiyin kodumutiyilae, Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them:

14 Janangalukkum naerin kumaaranaakiya apnaerukkum naeraaka nintu kooppittu: apnaerae, uththaravu sollamaattiraa entan; atharku apnaer: raajaavukku naeraakak kookkuralidukira nee yaar entan. And David cried to the people, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, Answerest thou not, Abner? Then Abner answered and said, Who art thou that criest to the king?

15 Appoluthu David apnaerai Nnokki: neer veeran allavaa? Isravaelil umakkuch sariyaanavan yaar? Pinnai neer ummutaiya aanndavanaakiya raajaavaik kaakkaamarponathenna? Janaththil oruvan ummutaiya aanndavanaakiya raajaavaik kollumpati vanthirunthaanae. And David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord.

16 Neer seytha inthak kaariyam nallathalla; Karththar apishaekampannnnina ungal aanndavanai neengal kaakkaamarponapatiyinaal, neengal maranaththirkup paaththiravaankal; ippothum raajaavin thalaimaattil iruntha avarutaiya eettiyum thannnneerch sempum engae entu paarum entan. 17 Appoluthu savul: thaaveethin saththaththai arinthu, en kumaaranaakiya thaaveethae, ithu un saththamallavaa entan. Atharkuth David: raajaavaakiya en aanndavanae, ithu en saththanthaan entu solli, And Saul knew David's voice, and said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And David said, It is my voice, my lord, O king.

18 Pinnum: en aanndavanaakiya neer ummutaiya atiyaanai ippatip pin thodarukirathu enna? Naan ennaseythaen? Ennidaththil enna pollaappu irukkirathu? And he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand?

19 Ippoluthu raajaavaakiya en aanndavan thammutaiya atiyaanutaiya vaarththaikalaik kaetpaaraaka; Karththar ummai enakku virothamaaka eduththu vittathunndaanaal, atharku avar kaannikkaiyai aettaுkkolvaaraaka; manupuththirar athaich seythaarkalaeyaakil, avarkal karththarukku munpaakach sapikkappadakkadavarkal; avarkal: nee poy, anniya thaevarkalaich sevi entu solli, avarkal intu ennaik karththarutaiya suthantharaththirku aduththavanaayiraathapatikku, thuraththivittarkalae. Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. 20 Ippothum karththarutaiya samukaththil en iraththam tharaiyil vilaathiruppathaaka; malaikalil oru kavuthaariyai vaettaைyaadukirathupola, isravaelin raajaa oru thelluppoochchiyaith thaedavanthaaro entan. Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.

21 Appoluthu savul: naan paavanjaெythaen; en kumaaranaakiya thaaveethae, thirumpivaa; en jeevan intaiyathinam un paarvaikku arumaiyaayirunthapatiyaal, ini unakku oru pollaappunjaெyyaen; itho, naan mathiyattavanaay makaa periya thappithanjaெythaen entan. Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.

22 Atharkuth David: itho, raajaavin eetti ingae irukkirathu; vaaliparil oruvan ippuram vanthu, athai vaangik konndupokattum. And David answered and said, Behold the king's spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it.

23 Karththar avanavanukku avanavan neethikkum unnmaikkum thakkathaakappalan alippaaraaka; intu Karththar ummai enkaiyil oppukkoduththirunthum, Karththar apishaekampannnninavarmael, en kaiyai neetta manathillaathirunthaen. The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed.

24 Itho, ummutaiya jeevan intaiyathinam en paarvaikku eppati arumaiyaayirunthatho, appatiyae en jeevanum karththarin paarvaikku arumaiyaayiruppathinaal, avar ennai ellaa upaththiravaththirkum neengalaakki viduvaaraaka entan. And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.

25 Appoluthu savul thaaveethai Nnokki: en kumaaranaakiya thaaveethae, nee aasirvathikkappattavan; nee periya kaariyangalaich seyvaay, maenmaelum palappaduvaay entan; appatiyae David than valiyae ponaan; savulum than sthaanaththirkuth thirumpinaan. Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
