சகோதரரே, இயேசுவைப் பிடித்தவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டின யூதாசைக்குறித்துப் பரிசுத்த ஆவி தாவீதின் வாக்கினால் முன் சொன்ன வேதவாக்கியம் நிறைவேறவேண்டியதாயிருந்தது.

“சகோதரர்களே! வேதவாக்கியங்களில் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் சில காரியங்கள் நடக்கும் என்று தாவீதின் மூலமாகக் கூறினார். நமது கூட்டத்தில் ஒருவனாகிய யூதாஸைக்குறித்து அவன் கூறியுள்ளான். யூதாஸ் நம்மோடு கூட சேவையில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தான். இயேசுவைச் சிறைபிடிக்க யூதாஸ் மனிதர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டுவான் என்பதை ஆவியானவர் கூறியிருந்தார்,” என்றான்.
