1 இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரர், ரூபன், சிமியோன், லேவி, யூதா, இசக்கார், செபுலோன், These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

2 தாண், யோசேப்பு, பென்யமீன், நப்தலி, காத், ஆசேர் என்பவர்கள். Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

12 போவாஸ் ஓபேதைப் பெற்றான்; ஓபேத் ஈசாயைப் பெற்றான். And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

13 ஈசாய் தன் மூத்த குமாரன் எலியாபையும், அபினதாப் என்னும் இரண்டாம் குமாரனையும், சிம்மா என்னும் மூன்றாம் குமாரனையும், And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

14 நெதனயேல் என்னும் நாலாம் குமாரனையும், ரதாயி என்னும் ஐந்தாம் குமாரனையும், Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15 ஓத்சேம் என்னும் ஆறாம் குமாரனையும், தாவீது என்னும் ஏழாம் குமாரனையும் பெற்றான். Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:

16 அவர்கள் சகோதரிகள் செருயாள், அபிகாயில் என்பவர்கள்; செருயாளின் குமாரர், அபிசாய், யோவாப், ஆசகேல் என்னும் மூன்றுபேர். Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

18 எஸ்ரோனின் குமாரன் காலேப் எரீயோத் என்னப்பட்ட தன் பெண்ஜாதியாகிய அசுபாளாலே பெற்ற குமாரர், ஏசேர், சோபாப், அர்தோன் என்பவர்கள். And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19 அசுபாள் சென்றுபோனபின் காலேப் எப்ராத்தை விவாகம்பண்ணினான்; இவள் அவனுக்கு ஊரைப் பெற்றாள். And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20 ஊர் ஊரியைப் பெற்றான்; ஊரி பெசலெயேலைப் பெற்றான். And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

23 கேசூரையும் ஆராமையும் யாவீரின் கிராமங்களையும், கேனாத்திலுள்ள கிராமங்களாகிய அறுபது ஊர்களையும் அவர்கள் கையிலே வாங்கினார்கள்; இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கிலெயாத்தின் தகப்பனாகிய மாகீரின் குமாரர். And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 காலேபின் ஊரான எப்ராத்தாவில் எஸ்ரோன் இறந்துபோனபின், எஸ்ரோனின் பெண்ஜாதியாகிய அபியாள் அவனுக்குத் தெக்கொவாவின் தகப்பனாகிய அசூரைப் பெற்றாள். And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25 எஸ்ரோனுக்கு முதற்பிறந்த யெர்மெயேலின் குமாரர், ராம் என்னும் மூத்தவனும், பூனா, ஓரென், ஓத்சேம், அகியா என்பவர்களுமே. And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 அத்தாராள் என்னும் பேருள்ள வேறொரு மனைவியும் யெர்மெயேலுக்கு இருந்தாள்; இவள் ஓனாமின் தாய். Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 யெர்மெயேலுக்கு முதற்பிறந்த ராமின் குமாரர், மாஸ், யாமின், எக்கேர் என்பவர்கள். And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

28 ஓனாமின் குமாரர், சம்மாய், யாதா என்பவர்கள்; சம்மாயின் குமாரர், நாதாப், அபிசூர் என்பவர்கள். And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab and Abishur.

29 அபிசூருடைய மனைவியின் பேர் அபியாயேல்; அவள் அவனுக்கு அக்பானையும் மோளிதையும் பெற்றாள். And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

30 நாதாபின் குமாரர், சேலேத், அப்பாயிம் என்பவர்கள்; சேலேத் புத்திரரில்லாமல் மரித்தான். And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

32 சம்மாயின் சகோதரனாகிய யாதாவின் குமாரர், யெத்தெர், யோனத்தான் என்பவர்கள்; யெத்தெர் குமாரரில்லாமல் மரித்தான். And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

33 யோனத்தானின் குமாரர், பேலேத்சாசா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் யெர்மெயேலின் புத்திரர். And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 சேசானுக்குக் குமாரத்திகளேயன்றி குமாரர்கள் இல்லை; சேசானுக்கு யர்கா என்னும் பேருள்ள எகிப்திய வேலைக்காரன் ஒருவன் இருந்தான். Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35 சேசான் தன் குமாரத்தியைத் தன் வேலைக்காரனாகிய யாகாவுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; அவள் அவனுக்கு அத்தாயியைப் பெற்றாள். And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

36 அத்தாயி நாதானைப் பெற்றான். நாதான் சாபாதைப் பெற்றான். And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37 சாபாத் எப்லாலைப் பெற்றான்; எப்லால் ஒபேதைப் பெற்றான். And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

38 ஓபேத் ஏகூவைப் பெற்றான்; ஏகூ அசரியாவைப் பெற்றான். And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

39 அசரியா ஏலேத்சைப் பெற்றான்; ஏலேத்ஸ் எலெயாசாவைப் பெற்றான். And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

40 எலெயாசா சிஸ்மாயைப் பெற்றான்; சிஸ்மாய் சல்லுூமைப் பெற்றான். And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41 சல்லுூம் எக்கமியாவைப் பெற்றான்; எக்கமியா எலிசாமாவைப் பெற்றான். And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42 யெர்மெயேலின் சகோதரனாகிய காலேபின் குமாரர், சீப்பின் தகப்பனாகிய மேசா என்னும் முதற்பிறந்தவனும் எப்ரோனின் தகப்பனாகிய மெரோசாவின் குமாரருமே. Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 எப்ரோனின் குமாரர், கோராகு, தப்புவா, ரெக்கேம் செமா என்பவர்கள். And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44 செமா யோர்க்கேயாமின் தகப்பனாகிய ரெக்கேமைப் பெற்றான்; ரெக்கேம் சம்மாயைப் பெற்றான். And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.

45 சம்மாயின் குமாரன் மாகோன்; மாகோன் பெத்சூரின் தகப்பன். And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

46 காலேபின் மறுமனையாட்டியாகிய எப்பாள் ஆரானையும் மோசாவையும், காசேசையும் பெற்றாள்; ஆரான் காசேசைப் பெற்றான். And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.

47 யாதாயின் குமாரர், ரேகேம், யோதாம், கேசாம், பேலேத், எப்பா, சாகாப் என்பவர்கள். And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 காலேபின் மறுமனையாட்டியாகிய மாகாள் சேபேரையும் திர்கானாவையும் பெற்றாள். Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.

49 அவள் மத்மன்னாவின் தகப்பனாகிய சாகாபையும், மக்பேனாவுக்கும் கீபேயாவுக்கும் தகப்பனாகிய சேவாவையும் பெற்றாள்; காலேபின் குமாரத்தி அக்சாள் என்பவள். She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsa.

50 எப்ராத்தாளிடத்தில் முதற்பிறந்த ஊருடைய குமாரனாகிய காலேபின் குமாரர், கீரியாத்யாரீமின் மூப்பனான சோபாலும், These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim.

51 பெத்லெகேமின் மூப்பனான சல்மாவும், பெத்காதேரின் மூப்பனான ஆரேப்புமே. Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Bethgader.

52 கீரியாத்யாரிமின் மூப்பனான சோபாலின் குமாரர், ஆரோவே, ஆசியம் மெனுகோத் என்பவர்கள். And Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.

53 கீரியாத்யாரிமிலிருந்த வம்சங்கள், எத்திரியரும் பூகியரும் சுமாத்தியரும் மிஸ்ராவியருமே; இவர்களிடத்தில் சோராத்தியரும், எஸ்தவோலியரும் பிறந்தார்கள். And the families of Kirjathjearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites,

54 சல்மாவின் சந்ததிகள், பெத்லெகேமியரும், நேத்தோப்பாத்தியரும், பெத்யோவாப் என்னும் அதரோத் ஊராரும், மானாத்தியரிலும் சோரியரிலும் பாதிஜனங்களுமே. The sons of Salma; Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.

55 யாபேசில் குடியிருந்த கணக்கரின் வம்சங்கள், திராத்தியரும் சிமாத்தியரும் சுக்காத்தியருமே; ரேகாப் வீட்டாரின் தகப்பனாகிய அம்மாத்தின் சந்ததியாரான கேனியர் இவர்களே. And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

1 Isravaelin kumaarar, roopan, simiyon, laevi, yoothaa, isakkaar, sepulon, These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

2 Thaann, yoseppu, penyameen, napthali, kaath, aaser enpavarkal. Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Yoothaavin kumaarar, aer, onaan, selaa enpavarkal; intha moontu kumaarar soovaavin makalaana kaanaan sthireeyinidaththil avanukkup piranthavarkal; aer ennum yoothaavin mooththa kumaaran karththarin paarvaikkup pollaathavanaanapatiyaal avar avanaik kontupottar. The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. 4 Avan marumakalaakiya thaamaar avanukku paaraesaiyum seraavaiyum pettaாl; yoothaavin kumaarar ellaarum ainthupaer. And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

5 Paaraesin kumaarar, esron, aamool enpavarkal. The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.

6 Seraavin kumaarar ellaarum, simri, aeththaan, aemaan, kalkol, thaaraa ennum ainthupaer. And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

7 Saapaththeedaana vishayaththilae thurokampannnni isravaelaik kalangappannnnina aakaar enpavan, karmee puththiraril oruvan. And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

8 Aeththaanin kumaarar asariyaa muthalaanavarkal. And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

9 Esronukakup pirantha kumaarar, yermeyael, raam, kelupaa enpavarkal. The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10 Raam amminathaapaip pettaாn; amminathaap yoothaa puththirarin pirapuvaakiya nakasonaip pettaாn. And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

11 Nakason salmaavaip pettaாn; salmaa povaasaip pettaாn. And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

12 Povaas opaethaip pettaாn; opaeth eesaayaip pettaாn. And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

13 Eesaay than mooththa kumaaran eliyaapaiyum, apinathaap ennum iranndaam kumaaranaiyum, simmaa ennum moontam kumaaranaiyum, And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

14 Nethanayael ennum naalaam kumaaranaiyum, rathaayi ennum ainthaam kumaaranaiyum, Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15 Othsem ennum aaraam kumaaranaiyum, David ennum aelaam kumaaranaiyum pettaாn. Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:

19 Asupaal sentuponapin kaalaep epraaththai vivaakampannnninaan; ival avanukku ooraip pettaாl. And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20 Oor ooriyaip pettaாn; oori pesaleyaelaip pettaாn. And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

21 Pirpaadu, esron araுpathu vayathaanapothu kileyaaththin thakappanaakiya maageerin kumaaraththiyai vivaakampannnni, avalidaththil piravaesiththaan; ival avanukkuch sekoopaip pettaாl. And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.

22 Sekoop yaaveeraip pettaாn; ivanukkuk geelaeyaath thaesaththil irupaththumoontu oorkal irunthathu. And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

23 Kaesooraiyum aaraamaiyum yaaveerin kiraamangalaiyum, kaenaaththilulla kiraamangalaakiya araுpathu oorkalaiyum avarkal kaiyilae vaanginaarkal; ivarkal ellaarum kileyaaththin thakappanaakiya maageerin kumaarar. And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 Kaalaepin ooraana epraaththaavil esron iranthuponapin, esronin pennjaathiyaakiya apiyaal avanukkuth thekkovaavin thakappanaakiya asooraip pettaாl. And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25 Esronukku mutharpirantha yermeyaelin kumaarar, raam ennum mooththavanum, poonaa, oren, othsem, akiyaa enpavarkalumae. And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 Aththaaraal ennum paerulla vaeroru manaiviyum yermeyaelukku irunthaal; ival onaamin thaay. Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 Yermeyaelukku mutharpirantha raamin kumaarar, maas, yaamin, ekkaer enpavarkal. And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

28 Onaamin kumaarar, sammaay, yaathaa enpavarkal; sammaayin kumaarar, naathaap, apisoor enpavarkal. And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab and Abishur.

29 Apisoorutaiya manaiviyin paer apiyaayael; aval avanukku akpaanaiyum molithaiyum pettaாl. And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

30 Naathaapin kumaarar, selaeth, appaayim enpavarkal; selaeth puththirarillaamal mariththaan. And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

31 Appaayimin kumaarar ishi muthalaanavarkal; ishiyin kumaarar sesaan muthalaanavarkal; sesaanin kumaaraththi aklaay. And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.

32 Sammaayin sakotharanaakiya yaathaavin kumaarar, yethther, yonaththaan enpavarkal; yethther kumaararillaamal mariththaan. And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

33 Yonaththaanin kumaarar, paelaethsaasaa enpavarkal; ivarkal yermeyaelin puththirar. And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 Sesaanukkuk kumaaraththikalaeyanti kumaararkal illai; sesaanukku yarkaa ennum paerulla ekipthiya vaelaikkaaran oruvan irunthaan. Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35 Sesaan than kumaaraththiyaith than vaelaikkaaranaakiya yaakaavukkuk koduththaan; aval avanukku aththaayiyaip pettaாl. And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

36 Aththaayi naathaanaip pettaாn. Naathaan saapaathaip pettaாn. And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37 Saapaath eplaalaip pettaாn; eplaal opaethaip pettaாn. And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

38 Opaeth aekoovaip pettaாn; aekoo asariyaavaip pettaாn. And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

39 Asariyaa aelaethsaip pettaாn; aelaeths eleyaasaavaip pettaாn. And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

40 Eleyaasaa sismaayaip pettaாn; sismaay salluூmaip pettaாn. And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41 Salluூm ekkamiyaavaip pettaாn; ekkamiyaa elisaamaavaip pettaாn. And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42 Yermeyaelin sakotharanaakiya kaalaepin kumaarar, seeppin thakappanaakiya maesaa ennum mutharpiranthavanum epronin thakappanaakiya merosaavin kumaararumae.
