இப்பொழுது நீங்கள் என் வாக்கை உள்ளபடி கேட்டு, என் உடன்படிக்கையைக் கைக்கொள்வீர்களானால், சகல ஜனங்களிலும் நீங்களே எனக்குச் சொந்த சம்பத்தாயிருப்பீர்கள்; பூமியெல்லாம் என்னுடையது.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
என் கட்டளைகளின்படி செய்து, என் நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு அவைகளின்படி நடக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது தேசத்திலே சுகமாய்க்குடியிருப்பீர்கள்.
Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
பூமி தன் கனியைத்தரும்; நீங்கள் திருப்தியாகச் சாப்பிட்டு, அதில் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பீர்கள்.
And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
இஸ்ரவேலரே, நீங்கள் பிழைத்திருக்கும்படிக்கும், உங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிற தேசத்தில் நீங்கள் பிரவேசித்து அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும், நீங்கள் கைக்கொள்ளுவதற்கு நான் உங்களுக்குப் போதிக்கிற கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கேளுங்கள்.
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
ஆகையால் அவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள்; ஜனங்களின் கண்களுக்குமுன்பாகவும் இதுவே உங்களுக்கு ஞானமும் விவேகமுமாய் இருக்கும்; அவர்கள் இந்தக் கட்டளைகளையெல்லாம் கேட்டு, இந்தப் பெரிய ஜாதியே ஞானமும் விவேகமுமுள்ள ஜனங்கள் என்பார்கள்.
Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
அவர்களும் அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நன்றாயிருக்கும்படி, அவர்கள் எந்நாளும் எனக்குப் பயந்து, என் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் கைக்கொள்வதற்கேற்ற இருதயம் அவர்களுக்கு இருந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ நன்றாயிருப்பதற்கும், உன் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குச் சொன்னபடி, பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசத்தில் நீ மிகவும் விருத்தியடைவதற்கும், அவைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவைகளின்படி செய்யச் சாவதானமாயிரு.
Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
நீ நன்றாயிருக்கிறதற்கும், கர்த்தர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த நல்ல தேசத்தில் நீ பிரவேசித்து, அதைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதற்கும்,
And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers.
கர்த்தர் தாம் சொன்னபடி, உன் சத்துருக்களையெல்லாம் உன் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடுவதற்கும், நீ கர்த்தருடைய பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையும் நன்மையுமாய் இருக்கிறதைச் செய்வாயாக.
To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
இந்த நியாயங்களை நீங்கள் கேட்டு, கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்வீர்களானால், அப்பொழுது உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த உடன்படிக்கையையும் கிருபையையும் உனக்காகக் காத்து,
Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
இன்று நான் உங்களுக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தீர்களானால் ஆசீர்வாதமும்,
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
சபிக்கப்பட்ட பொருளில் ஒன்றும் உன் கையில் இருக்கவேண்டாம். நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் நீ கைக்கொண்டு, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்யும்படி, அவர் சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுப்பாயானால்,
And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
கர்த்தர் தமது கோபத்தின் உக்கிரத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, உனக்குத் தயைசெய்து, உனக்கு இரங்கி, அவர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டபடி உன்னை விருத்தியடையப்பண்ணுவார்.
When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
இப்பொழுதும் நீங்கள் செய்வதெல்லாம் உங்களுக்கு வாய்க்கும்படிக்கு, இந்த உடன்படிக்கையின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்வீர்களாக.
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
இதோ, ஜீவனையும் நன்மையையும், மரணத்தையும் தீமையையும் இன்று உனக்கு முன்னே வைத்தேன்.
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
நீ பிழைத்துப் பெருகும்படிக்கும், நீ சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படிக்கும், நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரில் அன்புகூரவும், அவர் வழிகளில் நடக்கவும், அவர் கற்பனைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளவும், நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறேன்.
In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
அவர்களை நோக்கி: இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண வார்த்தைகளின்படியெல்லாம் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் செய்யும்படி கவனமாயிருக்க, நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பிக்கும்படி, நான் இன்று உங்களுக்குச்சாட்சியாய் ஒப்புவிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் உங்கள் மனதிலே வையுங்கள்.
And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
இது உங்களுக்கு வியர்த்தமான காரியம் அல்லவே; இது உங்கள் ஜீவனாயிருக்கிறது, நீங்கள் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி யோர்தானைக் கடந்துபோய்ச் சேரும்தேசத்தில் இதினால் உங்கள் நாட்களை நீடிக்கப்பண்ணுவீர்கள் என்றான்.
For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய வாக்குக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கலகம்பண்ணாமல் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவரைச் சேவித்து, அவருடைய சத்தத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தால், நீங்களும் உங்களை ஆளுகிற ராஜாவும் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களாயிருப்பீர்கள்.
If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
நீ என்ன செய்தாலும், நீ எங்கே போனாலும், எல்லாவற்றிலும் புத்திமானாயிருக்கிறதற்கும், கர்த்தர் என்னைக் குறித்து: உன் பிள்ளைகள் தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் எனக்கு முன்பாக உண்மையாய் நடக்கும்படிக்குத் தங்கள் வழியைக் காத்துக்கொண்டால், இஸ்ரவேலின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கத்தக்க புருஷன் உனக்கு இல்லாமற்போவதில்லை என்று சொன்ன தம்முடைய வார்த்தையைத் திடப்படுத்துகிறதற்கும்,
And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
கர்த்தர் உனக்கு ஞானத்தையும் உணர்வையும் அருளிச்செய்து, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டு, இஸ்ரவேலை ஆளும்படி உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவாராக.
Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.
கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்காக மோசேக்குக் கற்பித்த நியமங்களையும் நியாயங்களையும் செய்ய நீ கவனமாயிருந்தால் பாக்கியவானாயிருப்பாய்; நீ பலங்கொண்டு தைரியமாயிரு, பயப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இரு.
Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
நீங்களோ உங்கள் கைகளை நெகிழவிடாமல் திடன்கொள்ளுங்கள்; உங்கள் கிரியைகளுக்குப் பலன் உண்டு என்றான்.
Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
அவர்கள் அடங்கி அவரைச் சேவித்தால், தங்கள் நாட்களை நன்மையாகவும், தங்கள் வருஷங்களைச் செல்வவாழ்வாகவும் போக்குவார்கள்.
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவருடைய சாட்சிகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு, அவருடைய பாதைகளெல்லாம் கிருபையும் சத்தியமுமானவைகள்.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
ஸ்தோத்திர பலியிடுகிறவன் என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறான்; தன் வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவனுக்கு தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்.
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
நியாயத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், எக்காலத்திலும் நீதியைச்செய்கிறவர்களும் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தின்படி நடக்கிற உத்தம மார்க்கத்தார் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
அவருடைய சாட்சிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தேடுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
நான் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் கண்ணோக்கும்போது வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போவதில்லை.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
கட்டளையைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் தன் ஆத்துமாவைக் காக்கிறான்; தன் வழிகளை அவமதிக்கிறவன் சாவான்.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
தீர்க்கதரிசனமில்லாத இடத்தில் ஜனங்கள் சீர்கெட்டுப்போவார்கள்; வேதத்தைக் காக்கிறவனோ பாக்கியவான்.
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
நீங்கள் மனம்பொருந்திச் செவிகொடுத்தால் தேசத்தின் நன்மையைப் புசிப்பீர்கள்.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
ஆ, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கவனித்தாயானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது உன் சமாதானம் நதியைப்போலும், உன் நீதி சமுத்திரத்தின் அலைகளைப்போலும் இருக்கும்.
O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
என் வாக்குக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது நான் உங்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், நீங்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பீர்கள்; நான் உங்களுக்குக் கற்பிக்கும் எல்லா வழியிலும், நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகும்படிக்கு நடவுங்கள் என்கிற விசேஷத்தையே அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லிக் கட்டளையிட்டேன்.
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
ஆகையால், இந்தக் கற்பனைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் சிறிதொன்றையாகிலும் மீறி, அவ்விதமாய் மனுஷருக்குப் போதிக்கிறவன் பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் எல்லாரிலும் சிறியவன் என்னப்படுவான்; இவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிறவன் பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் எல்லாரிலும் பெரியவன் என்னப்படுவான்.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் சித்தத்தின்படி செய்கிறவனே பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பானேயல்லாமல், என்னை நோக்கிக் கர்த்தாவே! கர்த்தாவே! என்று சொல்லுகிறவன் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் சித்தத்தின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனோ அவனே எனக்குச் சகோதரனும் சகோதரியும் தாயுமாய் இருக்கிறான் என்றார்.
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்ய மனதுள்ளவனெவனோ அவன் இந்த உபதேசம் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதோ நான் சுயமாய்ப் பேசுகிறேனோ என்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுவான்.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
நீங்கள் இவைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியினால், இவைகளைச் செய்வீர்களானால், பாக்கியவான்களாயிருப்பீர்கள்.
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தைக் கேட்கிறவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமான்களல்ல, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின்படி செய்கிறவர்களே நீதிமான்களாக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் கற்றும் அடைந்தும் கேட்டும் கண்டும் இருக்கிறவைகளெவைகளோ அவைகளையே செய்யுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது சமாதானத்தின் தேவன் உங்களோடிருப்பார்.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
சுயாதீனப்பிரமாணமாகிய பூரணப்பிரமாணத்தை உற்றுப்பார்த்து, அதிலே நிலைத்திருக்கிறவனே கேட்கிறதை மறக்கிறவனாயிராமல், அதற்கேற்ற கிரியை செய்கிறவனாயிருந்து, தன் செய்கையில் பாக்கியவானாயிருப்பான்.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
உலகமும் அதின் இச்சையும் ஒழிந்துபோம்; தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்கிறவனோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பான்.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
அவருடைய கற்பனைகளை நாம் கைக்கொண்டு அவருக்கு முன்பாகப் பிரியமானவைகளைச் செய்கிறபடியினால் நாம் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறதெதுவோ அதை அவராலே பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறோம்.
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
ஜீவவிருட்சத்தின்மேல் அதிகாரமுள்ளவர்களாவதற்கும், வாசல்கள் வழியாய் நகரத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பதற்கும் அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
