Job 9 in Tamil

1 அதற்கு யோபு பிரதியுத்தரமாக: Then Job answered and said,

2 ஆம், காரியம் இப்படியிருக்கிறது என்று அறிவேன், தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக மனுஷன் நீதிமானாயிருப்பதெப்படி? I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?

3 அவர் அவனோடே வழக்காடச்சித்தமாயிருந்தால், ஆயிரத்தில் ஒன்றுக்காகிலும் அவருக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லமாட்டானே. If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.

4 அவர் இருதயத்தில் ஞானமுள்ளவர், பெலத்தில் பராக்கிரமமுள்ளவர்; அவருக்கு விரோதமாகத் தன்னைக் கடினப்படுத்தி வாழ்ந்தவன் யார்? He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?

5 அவர் பர்வதங்களைச் சடிதியாய்ப் பேர்க்கிறார்; தம்முடைய கோபத்தில் அவைகளைப் புரட்டிப்போடுகிறார். Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.

6 பூமியின் தூண்கள் அதிரத்தக்கதாய் அதை அதின் ஸ்தானத்தினின்று அசையப்பண்ணுகிறார். Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

7 அவர் சூரியனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட அது உதிக்காதிருக்கும்; அவர் நட்சத்திரங்களை மறைத்துப்போடுகிறார். Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

8 அவர் ஒருவரே வானங்களை விரித்து சமுத்திர அலைகளின்மேல் நடக்கிறவர். Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

9 அவர் துருவச்சக்கர நட்சத்திரங்களையும், மிருகசீரிஷத்தையும் அறுமீனையும், தட்சன மண்டலங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினவர். Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

10 ஆராய்ந்து முடியாத பெரியகாரியங்களையும் எண்ணிமுடியாத அதிசயங்களையும் அவர் செய்கிறார். Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

11 இதோ, அவர் என் அருகில் போகிறார், நான் அவரைக் காணேன்; அவர் கடந்துபோகிறார் நான் அவரை அறியேன். Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.

12 இதோ, அவர் பறித்துக்கொண்டுபோகிறார், அவரை மறிப்பவன் யார்? நீர் என்ன செய்கிறீர் என்று அவரைக் கேட்பவன் யார்? Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?

13 தேவன் தம்முடைய கோபத்தைத் திருப்பமாட்டார்; ஒருவருக்கொருவர் துணை நிற்கிற அகங்காரிகள் அவருக்கு அடங்கவேண்டும். If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.

14 இப்படியிருக்க, அவருக்கு மறுமொழி கொடுக்கவும், அவரோடே வழக்காடும் வார்த்தைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவும் நான் எம்மாத்திரம்? How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him?

15 நான் நீதிமானாயிருந்தாலும் அவரோடே வழக்காடாமல், என் நியாயாதிபதியினிடத்தில் இரக்கத்துக்குக் கெஞ்சுவேன். Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.

16 நான் கெஞ்ச, அவர் எனக்கு உத்தரவு அருளினாலும், அவர் என் விண்ணப்பத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார் என்று நம்பேன். If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.

17 அவர் புசலினால் என்னை முறிக்கிறார்; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் அநேகம் காயங்களை எனக்கு உண்டாக்குகிறார். For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

18 நான் மூச்சுவிட எனக்கு இடங்கொடாமல், கசப்பில் என்னை நிரப்புகிறார். He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.

19 பெலத்தைப் பார்த்தால், அவரே பெலத்தவர்; நியாயத்தைப் பார்த்தால் என் பட்சத்தில் சாட்சிசொல்லுகிறவன் யார்? If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?

20 நான் என்னை நீதிமானாக்கிலும் என் வாயே என்னைக் குற்றவாளியாக்கும்; நான் உத்தமன் என்று சொன்னாலும், நான் மாறுபாடானவன் என்று அது சாட்சிகொடுக்கும். If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.

21 நான் உத்தமனென்றாலும் என் உள்ளத்தை நான் அறியேன், என் ஜீவனை அரோசிப்பேன். Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.

22 ஒரு காரியம் உண்டு, அதைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; சன்மார்க்கனையும் துன்மார்க்கனையும் அவர் அழிக்கிறார். This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.

23 சவுக்கானது அசுப்பிலே வாதித்துக் கொல்லும்போது, அவர் குற்றமில்லாதவர்களின் சோதனையைப்பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார். If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.

24 உலகம் துன்மார்க்கர் கையில் விடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; அதிலிருக்கிற நியாயாதிபதிகளின் முகத்தை மூடிப்போடுகிறார்; அவர் இதைச் செய்கிறதில்லையென்றால் பின்னை யார் இதைச் செய்கிறார். The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?

25 என் நாட்கள் அஞ்சற்காரர் ஓட்டத்திலும் தீவிரமாயிருக்கிறது; அவைகள் நன்மையைக் காணாமல் பறந்துபோம். Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.

26 அவைகள் வேகமாய் ஓடுகிற கப்பல்களைப்போலவும், இரையின்மேல் பாய்கிற கழுகைப்போலவும் கடந்துபோகிறது. They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.

27 என் அங்கலாய்ப்பை நான் மறந்து, என் முகத்தின் துக்கத்தை மாற்றி, திடன்கொள்வேன் என்று சொன்னால், If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:

28 என் வருத்தங்களைப்பற்றி பயமற்றவனாயிருக்கிறேன்; என்னைக் குற்றமில்லாதவனாக எண்ணமாட்டீர் என்று அறிவேன். I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.

29 நான் பொல்லாதவனாயிருந்தால் விருதாவாய்ப் போராடவேண்டியது என்ன? If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?

30 நான் உறைந்த மழையைத் தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, என் கைகளைச் சவுக்காரத்தினால் சுத்தம்பண்ணினாலும், If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;

31 நீர் என்னைச் சேற்றுப்பள்ளத்திலே அமிழ்த்துவீர். அப்பொழுது என் வஸ்திரமே என்னை அருவருக்கும். Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.

32 நான் அவருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரம் சொல்லுகிறதற்கும், நாங்கள் கூடி நியாயத்திற்கு வருகிறதற்கும், அவர் என்னைப்போல மனுஷன் அல்லவே. For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.

33 எங்கள் இருவர்மேலும் தன் கையை வைக்கத்தக்க மத்தியஸ்தன் எங்களுக்குள் இல்லையே. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

34 அவர் தமது மிலாற்றை என்னைவிட்டு அகற்றுவாராக; அவருடைய பயங்கரம் என்னைக் கலங்கப்பண்ணாதிருப்பதாக. Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:

35 அப்பொழுது நான் அவருக்கு பயப்படாமல் பேசுவேன்; இப்பொழுதோ அப்படிச் செய்ய இடமில்லை. Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.

1 Atharku yopu pirathiyuththaramaaka: Then Job answered and said,

2 Aam, kaariyam ippatiyirukkirathu entu arivaen, thaevanukku munpaaka manushan neethimaanaayiruppatheppati? I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?

3 Avar avanotae valakkaadachchiththamaayirunthaal, aayiraththil ontukkaakilum avarukku uththaravu sollamaattanae. If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.

4 Avar iruthayaththil njaanamullavar, pelaththil paraakkiramamullavar; avarukku virothamaakath thannaik katinappaduththi vaalnthavan yaar? He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?

5 Avar parvathangalaich satithiyaayp paerkkiraar; thammutaiya kopaththil avaikalaip purattippodukiraar. Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.

6 Poomiyin thoonnkal athiraththakkathaay athai athin sthaanaththinintu asaiyappannnukiraar. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

7 Avar sooriyanukkuk kattalaiyida athu uthikkaathirukkum; avar natchaththirangalai maraiththuppodukiraar. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

8 Avar oruvarae vaanangalai viriththu samuththira alaikalinmael nadakkiravar. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

9 Avar thuruvachchakkara natchaththirangalaiyum, mirukaseerishaththaiyum araுmeenaiyum, thatchana manndalangalaiyum unndaakkinavar. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

10 Aaraaynthu mutiyaatha periyakaariyangalaiyum ennnnimutiyaatha athisayangalaiyum avar seykiraar. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

11 Itho, avar en arukil pokiraar, naan avaraik kaanneen; avar kadanthupokiraar naan avarai ariyaen. Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.

12 Itho, avar pariththukkonndupokiraar, avarai marippavan yaar? Neer enna seykireer entu avaraik kaetpavan yaar? Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?

13 Dhevan thammutaiya kopaththaith thiruppamaattar; oruvarukkoruvar thunnai nirkira akangaarikal avarukku adangavaenndum. If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.

14 Ippatiyirukka, avarukku maraுmoli kodukkavum, avarotae valakkaadum vaarththaikalaith therinthukollavum naan emmaaththiram? How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him?

15 Naan neethimaanaayirunthaalum avarotae valakkaadaamal, en niyaayaathipathiyinidaththil irakkaththukkuk kenjuvaen. Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.

16 Naan kenja, avar enakku uththaravu arulinaalum, avar en vinnnappaththukkuch sevikoduththaar entu nampaen. If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.

17 Avar pusalinaal ennai murikkiraar; mukaantharamillaamal anaekam kaayangalai enakku unndaakkukiraar. For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

18 Naan moochchuvida enakku idangaொdaamal, kasappil ennai nirappukiraar. He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.

19 Pelaththaip paarththaal, avarae pelaththavar; niyaayaththaip paarththaal en patchaththil saatchisollukiravan yaar? If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?

20 Naan ennai neethimaanaakkilum en vaayae ennaik kuttavaaliyaakkum; naan uththaman entu sonnaalum, naan maaraுpaadaanavan entu athu saatchikodukkum. If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.

21 Naan uththamanentalum en ullaththai naan ariyaen, en jeevanai arosippaen. Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.

22 Oru kaariyam unndu, athaich sollukiraேn; sanmaarkkanaiyum thunmaarkkanaiyum avar alikkiraar. This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.

23 Savukkaanathu asuppilae vaathiththuk kollumpothu, avar kuttamillaathavarkalin sothanaiyaippaarththu nakaikkiraar. If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.

24 Ulakam thunmaarkkar kaiyil vidappattirukkirathu; athilirukkira niyaayaathipathikalin mukaththai mootippodukiraar; avar ithaich seykirathillaiyental pinnai yaar ithaich seykiraar. The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?

25 En naatkal anjarkaarar ottaththilum theeviramaayirukkirathu; avaikal nanmaiyaik kaannaamal paranthupom. Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.

26 Avaikal vaekamaay odukira kappalkalaippolavum, iraiyinmael paaykira kalukaippolavum kadanthupokirathu. They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.

27 En angalaayppai naan maranthu, en mukaththin thukkaththai maatti, thidankolvaen entu sonnaal, If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:

28 En varuththangalaippatti payamattavanaayirukkiraேn; ennaik kuttamillaathavanaaka ennnamaattir entu arivaen. I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.

29 Naan pollaathavanaayirunthaal viruthaavaayp poraadavaenntiyathu enna? If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?

30 Naan uraintha malaiyaith thannnneeril muluki, en kaikalaich savukkaaraththinaal suththampannnninaalum, If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;

31 Neer ennaich settaுppallaththilae amilththuveer. Appoluthu en vasthiramae ennai aruvarukkum. Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.

32 Naan avarukkup pirathiyuththaram sollukiratharkum, naangal kooti niyaayaththirku varukiratharkum, avar ennaippola manushan allavae. For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.

33 Engal iruvarmaelum than kaiyai vaikkaththakka maththiyasthan engalukkul illaiyae. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

34 Avar thamathu milaattaை ennaivittu akattaுvaaraaka; avarutaiya payangaram ennaik kalangappannnnaathiruppathaaka. Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:

35 Appoluthu naan avarukku payappadaamal paesuvaen; ippolutho appatich seyya idamillai. Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
