Genesis 35 in Tamil

1 தேவன் யாக்கோபை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்து பெத்தேலுக்குப் போய், அங்கே குடியிருந்து, நீ உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஏசாவின் முகத்திற்கு விலகி ஓடிப்போகிறபோது, உனக்குத் தரிசனமான தேவனுக்கு அங்கே ஒரு பலிபீடத்தை உண்டாக்கு என்றார். And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

2 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு தன் வீட்டாரையும் தன்னோடேகூட இருந்த மற்ற அனைவரையும் நோக்கி: உங்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிற அந்நிய தெய்வங்களை விலக்கிப்போட்டு, உங்களைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டு, உங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களை மாற்றுங்கள். Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

3 நாம் எழுந்து பெத்தேலுக்குப் போவோம் வாருங்கள்; எனக்கு ஆபத்து நேரிட்ட நாளில் என் விண்ணப்பத்துக்கு உத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்து, நான் நடந்த வழியிலே என்னோடேகூட இருந்த தேவனுக்கு அங்கே ஒரு பலிபீடத்தை உண்டாக்குவேன் என்றான். And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

4 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள் கையிலிருந்த எல்லா அந்நிய தெய்வங்களையும், தங்கள் காதணிகளையும் யாக்கோபிடத்தில் கொடுத்தார்கள்; யாக்கோபு அவைகளைச் சீகேம் ஊர் அருகே இருந்த ஒரு கர்வாலி மரத்தின் கீழே புதைத்துப்போட்டான். And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

5 பின்பு பிரயாணம் புறப்பட்டார்கள்; அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலுமிருந்த பட்டணத்தாருக்குத் தேவனாலே பயங்கரம் உண்டானதினால், அவர்கள் யாக்கோபின் குமாரரைப் பின்தொடராதிருந்தார்கள். And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

6 யாக்கோபும் அவனோடேகூட இருந்த எல்லா ஜனங்களும் கானான் தேசத்திலுள்ள பெத்தேல் என்னும் லுூசுக்கு வந்தார்கள். So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.

7 அங்கே அவன் ஒரு பலிபீடத்தைக் கட்டி, தன் சகோதரனுடைய முகத்துக்குத் தப்பி ஓடினபோது, அங்கே தனக்கு தேவன் தரிசனமானபடியால், அந்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கு ஏல்பெத்தேல் என்று பேரிட்டான். And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

8 ரெபெக்காளின் தாதியாகிய தெபொராள் மரித்து, பெத்தேலுக்குச் சமீபமாயிருந்த ஒரு கர்வாலி மரத்தின்கீழ் அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டாள்; அதற்கு அல்லோன்பாகூத் என்னும் பேர் உண்டாயிற்று. But Deborah Rebekah's nurse died, and she was buried beneath Bethel under an oak: and the name of it was called Allonbachuth.

9 யாக்கோபு பதான் அராமிலிருந்து வந்தபின்பு தேவன் அவனுக்கு மறுபடியும் தரிசனமாகி, அவனை ƠΚ ΰ்வதித்து; And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.

10 இப்பொழுது உன் பேர் யாக்கோபு, இனி உன் பேர் யாக்கோபு என்னப்படாமல், இஸ்ரவேல் என்று உனக்குப் பேர் வழங்கும் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு இஸ்ரவேல் என்று பேரிட்டார். And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

11 பின்னும் தேவன் அவனை நோக்கி: நான் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன், நீ பலுகிப் பெருகுவாயாக; ஒரு ஜாதியும் பற்பல ஜாதிகளின் கூட்டங்களும் உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து உண்டாகும்; ராஜாக்களும் உன் சந்ததியில் பிறப்பார்கள். And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

12 நான் ஆபிரகாமுக்கும் ஈசாக்குக்கும் கொடுத்த தேசத்தை உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்; உனக்குப் பின் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் இந்த தேசத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று சொல்லி, And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

13 தேவன் அவனோடே பேசின ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து அவனைவிட்டு எழுந்தருளிப் போனார். And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him.

14 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு தன்னோடே அவர் பேசின ஸ்தலத்திலே ஒரு கற்றூணை நிறுத்தி, அதின்மேல் பானபலியை ஊற்றி, எண்ணெயையும் வார்த்தான். And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.

15 தேவன் தன்னோடே பேசின அந்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கு யாக்கோபு பெத்தேல் என்று பேரிட்டான். And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

16 பின்பு பெத்தேலை விட்டுப் பிரயாணம் புறப்பட்டார்கள். எப்பிராத்தாவுக்கு வர இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் தூரம் இருக்கும்போது, ராகேல் பிள்ளை பெற்றாள்; பிரசவத்தில் அவளுக்குக் கடும்வேதனை உண்டாயிற்று. And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.

17 பிரசவிக்கும்போது, அவளுக்குக் கடும்வேதனையாயிருக்கையில், மருத்துவச்சி அவளைப் பார்த்து: பயப்படாதே, இந்த முறையும் புத்திரனைப் பெறுவாய் என்றாள். And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.

18 மரண காலத்தில் அவள் ஆத்துமா பிரியும்போது, அவள் அவனுக்கு பெனோனி என்று பேரிட்டாள்: அவன் தகப்பனோ, அவனுக்கு பென்யமீன் என்று பேரிட்டான். And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

19 ராகேல் மரித்து, பெத்லகேம் என்னும் எப்பிராத்தா ஊருக்குப் போகிற வழியிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டாள். And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

20 அவள் கல்லறையின்மேல் யாக்கோபு ஒரு தூணை நிறுத்தினான்; அதுவே இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிற ராகேலுடைய கல்லறையின் தூண். And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.

21 இஸ்ரவேல் பிரயாணம்பண்ணி, ஏதேர் என்கிற கோபுரத்திற்கு அப்புறத்தில் கூடாரம் போட்டான். And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.

22 இஸ்ரவேல் அந்தத் தேசத்தில் தங்கிக் குடியிருக்கும்போது, ரூபன் போய், தன் தகப்பனுடைய மறுமனையாட்டியாகிய பில்காளோடே சயனித்தான்; அதை இஸ்ரவேல் கேள்விப்பட்டான். And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

23 யாக்கோபின் குமாரர் பன்னிரண்டுபேர், யாக்கோபின் மூத்தமகனாகிய ரூபன், சிமியோன், லேவி, யூதா, இசக்கார், செபுலோன் என்பவர்கள் லேயாள் பெற்ற குமாரர். The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:

24 யோசேப்பு, பென்யமீன் என்பவர்கள் ராகேல் பெற்ற குமாரர். The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:

25 தாண், நப்தலி என்பவர்கள் ராகேலுடைய பணிவிடைக்காரியாகிய பில்காள் பெற்ற குமாரர். And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

26 காத், ஆசேர் என்பவர்கள் லேயாளின் பணிவிடைக்காரியாகிய சில்பாள் பெற்ற குமாரர்; இவர்களே யாக்கோபுக்குப் பதான் அராமிலே பிறந்த குமாரர். And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid: Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.

27 பின்பு, யாக்கோபு அர்பாவின் ஊராகிய மம்ரேக்குத் தன் தகப்பனாகிய ஈசாக்கினிடத்தில் வந்தான்; அது ஆபிரகாமும் ஈசாக்கும் தங்கியிருந்த எபிரோன் என்னும் ஊர். And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arba, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.

28 ஈசாக்கு விருத்தாப்பியமும் பூரண ஆயுசுமுள்ளவனாகி, நூற்றெண்பது வருஷம் ஜீவித்திருந்து, And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years.

29 பிராணன்போய் மரித்து, தன் ஜனத்தாரோடே சேர்க்கப்பட்டான். அவன் குமாரராகிய ஏசாவும் யாக்கோபும் அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள். And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

1 Dhevan yaakkopai Nnokki: nee elunthu peththaelukkup poy, angae kutiyirunthu, nee un sakotharanaakiya aesaavin mukaththirku vilaki otippokirapothu, unakkuth tharisanamaana thaevanukku angae oru palipeedaththai unndaakku entar. And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

2 Appoluthu yaakkopu than veettaraiyum thannotaekooda iruntha matta anaivaraiyum Nnokki: ungalidaththil irukkira anniya theyvangalai vilakkippottu, ungalaich suththampannnnikkonndu, ungal vasthirangalai maattaுngal. Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

3 Naam elunthu peththaelukkup povom vaarungal; enakku aapaththu naeritta naalil en vinnnappaththukku uththaravu arulichcheythu, naan nadantha valiyilae ennotaekooda iruntha thaevanukku angae oru palipeedaththai unndaakkuvaen entan. And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

4 Appoluthu avarkal thangal kaiyiliruntha ellaa anniya theyvangalaiyum, thangal kaathannikalaiyum yaakkopidaththil koduththaarkal; yaakkopu avaikalaich seekaem oor arukae iruntha oru karvaali maraththin geelae puthaiththuppottan. And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

5 Pinpu pirayaanam purappattarkal; avarkalaich suttilumiruntha pattanaththaarukkuth thaevanaalae payangaram unndaanathinaal, avarkal yaakkopin kumaararaip pinthodaraathirunthaarkal. 6 Yaakkopum avanotaekooda iruntha ellaa janangalum kaanaan thaesaththilulla peththael ennum luூsukku vanthaarkal. So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.

7 Angae avan oru palipeedaththaik katti, than sakotharanutaiya mukaththukkuth thappi otinapothu, angae thanakku Dhevan tharisanamaanapatiyaal, antha sthalaththirku aelpeththael entu paerittan. And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

8 Repekkaalin thaathiyaakiya theporaal mariththu, peththaelukkuch sameepamaayiruntha oru karvaali maraththingeel adakkampannnappattal; atharku allonpaakooth ennum paer unndaayittaு. But Deborah Rebekah's nurse died, and she was buried beneath Bethel under an oak: and the name of it was called Allonbachuth.

9 Yaakkopu pathaan araamilirunthu vanthapinpu Dhevan avanukku maraுpatiyum tharisanamaaki, avanai ƠΚ ΰ்vathiththu; And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.

10 Ippoluthu un paer yaakkopu, ini un paer yaakkopu ennappadaamal, Israel entu unakkup paer valangum entu solli, avanukku Israel entu paerittar. And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

11 Pinnum Dhevan avanai Nnokki: naan sarvavallamaiyulla Dhevan, nee palukip perukuvaayaaka; oru jaathiyum parpala jaathikalin koottangalum unnidaththilirunthu unndaakum; raajaakkalum un santhathiyil pirappaarkal. And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

12 Naan aapirakaamukkum eesaakkukkum koduththa thaesaththai unakkuk koduppaen; unakkup pin un santhathikkum intha thaesaththaik koduppaen entu solli, And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

13 Dhevan avanotae paesina sthalaththilirunthu avanaivittu eluntharulip ponaar. And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him.

14 Appoluthu yaakkopu thannotae avar paesina sthalaththilae oru kattaூnnai niraுththi, athinmael paanapaliyai ootti, ennnneyaiyum vaarththaan. And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.

15 Dhevan thannotae paesina antha sthalaththirku yaakkopu peththael entu paerittan. And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

16 Pinpu peththaelai vittup pirayaanam purappattarkal. Eppiraaththaavukku vara innum konjam thooram irukkumpothu, raakael pillai pettaாl; pirasavaththil avalukkuk kadumvaethanai unndaayittaு. And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.

17 Pirasavikkumpothu, avalukkuk kadumvaethanaiyaayirukkaiyil, maruththuvachchi avalaip paarththu: payappadaathae, intha muraiyum puththiranaip peraுvaay ental. And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.

18 Marana kaalaththil aval aaththumaa piriyumpothu, aval avanukku penoni entu paerittal: avan thakappano, avanukku penyameen entu paerittan. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

19 Raakael mariththu, pethlakaem ennum eppiraaththaa oorukkup pokira valiyilae adakkampannnappattal. And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

20 Aval kallaraiyinmael yaakkopu oru thoonnai niraுththinaan; athuvae innaalvaraikkum irukkira raakaelutaiya kallaraiyin thoonn. And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.

21 Israel pirayaanampannnni, aethaer enkira kopuraththirku appuraththil koodaaram pottan. And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.

22 Israel anthath thaesaththil thangik kutiyirukkumpothu, roopan poy, than thakappanutaiya maraுmanaiyaattiyaakiya pilkaalotae sayaniththaan; athai Israel kaelvippattan. And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

23 Yaakkopin kumaarar panniranndupaer, yaakkopin mooththamakanaakiya roopan, simiyon, laevi, yoothaa, isakkaar, sepulon enpavarkal laeyaal petta kumaarar. The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:

24 Yoseppu, penyameen enpavarkal raakael petta kumaarar. The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:

25 Thaann, napthali enpavarkal raakaelutaiya pannivitaikkaariyaakiya pilkaal petta kumaarar. And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

26 Kaath, aaser enpavarkal laeyaalin pannivitaikkaariyaakiya silpaal petta kumaarar; ivarkalae yaakkopukkup pathaan araamilae pirantha kumaarar. And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid: Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.

27 Pinpu, yaakkopu arpaavin ooraakiya mamraekkuth than thakappanaakiya eesaakkinidaththil vanthaan; athu aapirakaamum eesaakkum thangiyiruntha epiron ennum oor. And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arba, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.

28 Eesaakku viruththaappiyamum poorana aayusumullavanaaki, noottennpathu varusham jeeviththirunthu, And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years.

29 Piraananpoy mariththu, than janaththaarotae serkkappattan. Avan kumaararaakiya aesaavum yaakkopum avanai adakkampannnninaarkal. And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
