Genesis 34 in Tamil

1 லேயாள் யாக்கோபுக்குப் பெற்ற குமாரத்தியாகிய தீனாள் தேசத்துப் பெண்களைப் பார்க்கப் புறப்பட்டாள். And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

2 அவளை ஏவியனான ஏமோரின் குமாரனும் அத்தேசத்தின் பிரபுவுமாகிய சீகேம் என்பவன் கண்டு, அவளைக் கொண்டுபோய், அவளோடே சயனித்து, அவளைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினான். And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.

3 அவனுடைய மனம் யாக்கோபின் குமாரத்தியாகிய தீனாள்மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருந்தது; அவன் அந்தப் பெண்ணை நேசித்து, அந்தப் பெண்ணின் மனதுக்கு இன்பமாய்ப் பேசினான். And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.

4 சீகேம் தன் தகப்பனாகிய ஏமோரை நோக்கி: இந்தப்பெண்ணை எனக்குக் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று சொன்னான். And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

5 தன் குமாரத்தியாகிய தீனாளை அவன் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினதை யாக்கோபு கேள்விப்பட்டபோது , அவன் குமாரர் அவனுடைய மந்தையினிடத்தில் வெளியிலே இருந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் வருமளவும் யாக்கோபு பேசாமலிருந்தான். And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

6 அத்தருணத்தில் சீகேமின் தகப்பனாகிய ஏமோர் புறப்பட்டு, யாக்கோபோடே பேசும்படி அவனிடத்தில் வந்தான். And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.

7 யாக்கோபின் குமாரர் இந்தச் செய்தியைக் கேட்டவுடனே, வெளியிலிருந்து வந்தார்கள். அவன் யாக்கோபின் குமாரத்தியோடே சயனித்து, செய்யத்தகாத மதிகெட்ட காரியத்தை இஸ்ரவேலில் செய்ததினாலே, அந்த மனிதர் மனங்கொதித்து மிகவும் கோபங்கொண்டார்கள். And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done.

8 ஏமோர் அவர்களோடே பேசி: என் குமாரனாகிய சீகேமின் மனது உங்கள் குமாரத்தியின்மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருக்கிறது; அவளை அவனுக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொடுங்கள். And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife.

9 நீங்கள் எங்களோடே சம்பந்தங் கலந்து, உங்கள் குமாரத்திகளை எங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து, எங்கள் குமாரத்திகளை உங்களுக்குக் கொண்டு, And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.

10 எங்களோடே வாசம்பண்ணுங்கள்; தேசம் உங்கள் முன்பாக இருக்கிறது; இதிலே குடியிருந்து, வியாபாரம்பண்ணி, பொருள் சம்பாதித்து, அதைக் கையாண்டுகொண்டிருங்கள் என்றான். And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein.

11 சீகேமும் அவள் தகப்பனையும் அவள் சகோதரரையும் நோக்கி: உங்கள் கண்களின் எனக்குத் தயவு கிடைக்கவேண்டும்; நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் எதைக் கேட்டாலும் தருகிறேன்; And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.

12 பரிசமும் வெகுமதியும் நீங்கள் எவ்வளவு கேட்டாலும், உங்கள் சொற்படி தருகிறேன்; அந்தப் பெண்ணை மாத்திரம் எனக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்றான். Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.

13 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபின் குமாரர் தங்கள் சகோதரியாகிய தீனாளைச் சீகேம் என்பவன் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினபடியால், அவனுக்கும் அவன் தகப்பனாகிய ஏமோருக்கும் வஞ்சகமான மறுமொழியாக: And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:

14 விருத்தசேதனமில்லாத புருஷனுக்கு நாங்கள் எங்கள் சகோதரியைக் கொடுக்கலாகாது; அது எங்களுக்கு நிந்தையாயிருக்கும். And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

15 நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குள்ளிருக்கும் ஆண்மக்கள் யாவரும் விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணப்பட்டு எங்களைப் போலாவீர்களானால், நாங்கள் சம்மதித்து, But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;

16 உங்களுக்கு எங்கள் குமாரத்திகளைக் கொடுத்து, உங்கள் குமாரத்திகளை எங்களுக்குக் கொண்டு, உங்களோடே குடியிருந்து, ஏகஜனமாயிருப்போம். Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.

17 விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணிக்கொள்வதற்கு எங்கள் சொல் கேளாமற்போவீர்களானால், நாங்கள் எங்கள் குமாரத்தியை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விடுவோம் என்று சொன்னார்கள். But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

18 அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகள் ஏமோருக்கும் ஏமோரின் குமாரனாகிய சீகேமுக்கும் நலமாய்த் தோன்றினது. And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor's son.

19 அந்த வாலிபன் யாக்கோபுடைய குமாரத்தியின்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்திருந்தபடியால், அந்தக் காரியத்தைச் செய்ய அவன் தாமதம்பண்ணவில்லை. அவன் தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டார் அனைவருக்குள்ளும் மேன்மையுள்ளவனாயிருந்தான். And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was more honorable than all the house of his father.

20 ஏமோரும் அவன் குமாரன் சீகேமும் தங்கள் பட்டணத்தின் வாசலில் வந்து, தங்கள் பட்டணத்து மனிதரோடே பேசி: And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying,

These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.

22 அந்த மனிதர் விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களாயிருக்கிறது போல, நம்மிலுள்ள ஆண்மக்கள் யாவரும் விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணப்பட்டால் அவர்கள் ஏகஜனமாக நம்மோடே வாசம்பண்ணச் சம்மதிப்பார்கள். Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

23 அவர்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகள் ஆஸ்திகள் மிருகஜீவன்கள் எல்லாம் நம்மைச் சேருமல்லவா? அவர்களுக்குச் சம்மதிப்போமானால், அவர்கள் நம்முடனே வாசம்பண்ணுவார்கள் என்று சொன்னார்கள். Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.

24 அப்பொழுது ஏமோரின் பட்டணத்து வாசலில் புறப்பட்டுவரும் அனைவரும் அவன் சொல்லையும் அவன் குமாரனாகிய சீகேமின் சொல்லையும் கேட்டு, அவனுடைய பட்டணத்து வாசலில் புறப்பட்டுவரும் ஆண்மக்கள் யாவரும் விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணப்பட்டார்கள். And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

25 மூன்றாம் நாளில் அவர்களுக்கு நோவெடுத்துக்கொண்டபோது, யாக்கோபின் குமாரரும் தீனாளின் சகோதரருமான சிமியோன் லேவி என்ற இவ்விரண்டு பேரும் தன்தன் பட்டயத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, துணிகரமாய்ப் பட்டணத்தில்மேல் பாய்ந்து, ஆண்மக்கள் யாவரையும் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள். And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.

26 ஏமோரையும் அவன் குமாரன் சீகேமையும் பட்டயக்கருக்காலே கொன்று, சீகேமின் வீட்டிலிருந்த தீனாளை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விட்டார்கள். And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out.

27 மேலும் யாக்கோபின் குமாரர் வெட்டுண்டவர்களிடத்தில் வந்து, தங்கள் சகோதரியை அவர்கள் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினதற்காகப் பட்டணத்தைக் கொள்ளையிட்டு, The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

28 அவர்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகளையும் கழுதைகளையும், பட்டணத்திலும் வயல்வெளியிலும் இருந்தவைகள் யாவையும், They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,

29 அவர்களுடைய எல்லாத் தட்டுமுட்டுகளையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவர்களுடைய எல்லாக் குழந்தைகளையும் ஸ்திரீகளையும் சிறைபிடித்து, வீட்டிலிருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள். And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.

30 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு சிமியோனையும் லேவியையும் பார்த்து: இந்தத் தேசத்தில் குடியிருக்கிற கானானியரிடத்திலும் பெரிசியரிடத்திலும் என் வாசனையை நீங்கள் கெடுத்ததினாலே என்னைக் கலங்கப் பண்ணினீர்கள்; நான் கொஞ்ச ஜனமுள்ளவன்; அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கூட்டங்கூடி, நானும் என் குடும்பமும் அழியும்படி என்னை வெட்டிப்போடுவார்களே என்றான். And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

31 அதற்கு அவர்கள்: எங்கள் சகோதரியை அவர்கள் ஒரு வேசியைப்போல நடத்தலாமோ என்றார்கள். And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?

1 Laeyaal yaakkopukkup petta kumaaraththiyaakiya theenaal thaesaththup pennkalaip paarkkap purappattal. And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.

2 Avalai aeviyanaana aemorin kumaaranum aththaesaththin pirapuvumaakiya seekaem enpavan kanndu, avalaik konndupoy, avalotae sayaniththu, avalaith theettuppaduththinaan. And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.

3 Avanutaiya manam yaakkopin kumaaraththiyaakiya theenaalmael pattaுthalaayirunthathu; avan anthap pennnnai naesiththu, anthap pennnnin manathukku inpamaayp paesinaan. And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.

4 Seekaem than thakappanaakiya aemorai Nnokki: inthappennnnai enakkuk kollavaenndum entu sonnaan. And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.

5 Than kumaaraththiyaakiya theenaalai avan theettuppaduththinathai yaakkopu kaelvippattapothu , avan kumaarar avanutaiya manthaiyinidaththil veliyilae irunthaarkal; avarkal varumalavum yaakkopu paesaamalirunthaan. And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

6 Aththarunaththil seekaemin thakappanaakiya aemor purappattu, yaakkopotae paesumpati avanidaththil vanthaan. And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.

7 Yaakkopin kumaarar inthach seythiyaik kaettavudanae, veliyilirunthu vanthaarkal. Avan yaakkopin kumaaraththiyotae sayaniththu, seyyaththakaatha mathiketta kaariyaththai isravaelil seythathinaalae, antha manithar manangaொthiththu mikavum kopangaொnndaarkal. And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done.

8 Aemor avarkalotae paesi: en kumaaranaakiya seekaemin manathu ungal kumaaraththiyinmael pattaுthalaayirukkirathu; avalai avanukku manaiviyaakak kodungal. And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife.

9 Neengal engalotae sampanthang kalanthu, ungal kumaaraththikalai engalukkuk koduththu, engal kumaaraththikalai ungalukkuk konndu, And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.

10 Engalotae vaasampannnungal; thaesam ungal munpaaka irukkirathu; ithilae kutiyirunthu, viyaapaarampannnni, porul sampaathiththu, athaik kaiyaanndukonntirungal entan. And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein.

11 Seekaemum aval thakappanaiyum aval sakothararaiyum Nnokki: ungal kannkalin enakkuth thayavu kitaikkavaenndum; neengal ennidaththil ethaik kaettalum tharukiraேn; And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.

12 Parisamum vekumathiyum neengal evvalavu kaettalum, ungal sorpati tharukiraேn; anthap pennnnai maaththiram enakku manaiviyaakak kodukkavaenndum entan. Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.

13 Appoluthu yaakkopin kumaarar thangal sakothariyaakiya theenaalaich seekaem enpavan theettuppaduththinapatiyaal, avanukkum avan thakappanaakiya aemorukkum vanjakamaana maraுmoliyaaka: And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:

14 Viruththasethanamillaatha purushanukku naangal engal sakothariyaik kodukkalaakaathu; athu engalukku ninthaiyaayirukkum. And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

15 Neengalum ungalukkullirukkum aannmakkal yaavarum viruththasethanam pannnappattu engalaip polaaveerkalaanaal, naangal sammathiththu, But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;

16 Ungalukku engal kumaaraththikalaik koduththu, ungal kumaaraththikalai engalukkuk konndu, ungalotae kutiyirunthu, aekajanamaayiruppom. Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.

17 Viruththasethanam pannnnikkolvatharku engal sol kaelaamarpoveerkalaanaal, naangal engal kumaaraththiyai alaiththukkonndu poyviduvom entu sonnaarkal. But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

18 Avarkalutaiya vaarththaikal aemorukkum aemorin kumaaranaakiya seekaemukkum nalamaayth thontinathu. And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor's son.

19 Antha vaalipan yaakkoputaiya kumaaraththiyinmael piriyam vaiththirunthapatiyaal, anthak kaariyaththaich seyya avan thaamathampannnavillai. Avan than thakappan veettar anaivarukkullum maenmaiyullavanaayirunthaan. And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was more honorable than all the house of his father.

20 Aemorum avan kumaaran seekaemum thangal pattanaththin vaasalil vanthu, thangal pattanaththu manitharotae paesi: And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying,

21 Intha manithar nammotae samaathaanamaayirukkiraarkal; aakaiyaal, avarkal inthath thaesaththil vaasampannnni, ithilae viyaapaarampannnattum; avarkalum vaasampannnukiratharku thaesam visthaaramaayirukkirathu; avarkalutaiya kumaaraththikalai namakku manaivikalaakak konndu, nammutaiya kumaaraththikalai avarkalukkuk koduppom. These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.

22 Antha manithar viruththasethanam pannnappattavarkalaayirukkirathu pola, nammilulla aannmakkal yaavarum viruththasethanam pannnappattal avarkal aekajanamaaka nammotae vaasampannnach sammathippaarkal. Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

23 Avarkalutaiya aadumaadukal aasthikal mirukajeevankal ellaam nammaich serumallavaa? Avarkalukkuch sammathippomaanaal, avarkal nammudanae vaasampannnuvaarkal entu sonnaarkal. Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.

24 Appoluthu aemorin pattanaththu vaasalil purappattuvarum anaivarum avan sollaiyum avan kumaaranaakiya seekaemin sollaiyum kaettu, avanutaiya pattanaththu vaasalil purappattuvarum aannmakkal yaavarum viruththasethanam pannnappattarkal. And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

25 Moontam naalil avarkalukku Nnoveduththukkonndapothu, yaakkopin kumaararum theenaalin sakothararumaana simiyon laevi enta ivviranndu paerum thanthan pattayaththai eduththukkonndu, thunnikaramaayp pattanaththilmael paaynthu, aannmakkal yaavaraiyum kontupottarkal. And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.

26 Aemoraiyum avan kumaaran seekaemaiyum pattayakkarukkaalae kontu, seekaemin veettiliruntha theenaalai alaiththukkonndu poyvittarkal. And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out.

27 Maelum yaakkopin kumaarar vettunndavarkalidaththil vanthu, thangal sakothariyai avarkal theettuppaduththinatharkaakap pattanaththaik kollaiyittu, The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

28 Avarkalutaiya aadumaadukalaiyum kaluthaikalaiyum, pattanaththilum vayalveliyilum irunthavaikal yaavaiyum, They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,

29 Avarkalutaiya ellaath thattumuttukalaiyum eduththukkonndu, avarkalutaiya ellaak kulanthaikalaiyum sthireekalaiyum siraipitiththu, veettiliruntha ellaavattaைyum kollaiyittarkal. And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.

30 Appoluthu yaakkopu simiyonaiyum laeviyaiyum paarththu: inthath thaesaththil kutiyirukkira kaanaaniyaridaththilum perisiyaridaththilum en vaasanaiyai neengal keduththathinaalae ennaik kalangap pannnnineerkal; naan konja janamullavan; avarkal enakku virothamaayk koottangaூti, naanum en kudumpamum aliyumpati ennai vettippoduvaarkalae entan.
