15 அவன் இப்படிச் சொல்லி முடிக்கும் முன்னே, இதோ, ஆபிரகாமுடைய சகோதரனாகிய நாகோரின் மனைவி மில்க்காளுடைய குமாரனாயிருக்கிற பெத்துவேலுக்குப் பிறந்த ரெபெக்காள் குடத்தைத் தோள்மேல் வைத்துக்கொண்டு புறப்பட்டு வந்தாள். And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

16 அந்தப் பெண் மகா ரூபவதியும், புருஷனை அறியாத கன்னிகையுமாய் இருந்தாள்; அவள் துரவில் இறங்கி, தன் குடத்தை நிரப்பிக்கொண்டு ஏறிவந்தாள். And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

17 அப்பொழுது அந்த ஊழியக்காரன், அவளுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டோடி: உன் குடத்திலிருக்கிற தண்ணீரில் கொஞ்சம் குடிக்கத் தரவேண்டும் என்றான். And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

18 அதற்கு அவள்: குடியும் என் ஆண்டவனே என்று சீக்கிரமாய்க் குடத்தைத் தன் கையில் இறக்கிக் கொண்டு, அவனுக்குக் குடிக்கக் கொடுத்தாள். And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

19 கொடுத்தபின், உம்முடைய ஒட்டகங்களும் குடித்துத் தீருமட்டும் அவைகளுக்கும் மொண்டு வார்ப்பேன் என்று சொல்லி; And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.

20 சீக்கிரமாய்த் தன் குடத்துத் தண்ணீரைத் தொட்டியிலே ஊற்றிவிட்டு, இன்னும் மொண்டுவரத் துரவண்டையில் ஓடி, அவனுடைய ஒட்டகங்களுக்கெல்லாம் மொண்டு வார்த்தாள். And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

21 அந்த மனிதன் அவளைக்குறித்து ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, கர்த்தர் தன் பிரயாணத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணினாரோ இல்லையோ என்று அறியும்பொருட்டு மவுனமாயிருந்தான். And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

22 ஒட்டகங்கள் குடித்துத் தீர்ந்தபின், அந்த மனிதன் அரைச்சேக்கல் எடையுள்ள பொற்காதணியையும், அவள் கைகளுக்குப் பத்துச்சேக்கல் எடைப்பொன்னுள்ள இரண்டு கடகங்களையும் எடுத்துக் கொடுத்து, And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;

23 நீ யாருடைய மகள், எனக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டும்; நாங்கள் உன் தகப்பன் வீட்டில் இராத்தங்க இடம் உண்டா என்றான். And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father's house for us to lodge in?

24 அதற்கு அவள்: நான் நாகோருக்கு மில்க்காள் பெற்ற குமாரனாகிய பெத்துவேலின் மகள் என்று சொன்னதுமன்றி, And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

25 எங்களிடத்தில் வைக்கோலும் தீவனமும் வேண்டியமட்டும் இருக்கிறது; இராத்தங்க இடமும் உண்டு என்றாள் She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.

26 அப்பொழுது அந்த மனிதன் தலை குனிந்து, கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்து கொண்டு, And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD.

27 என் எஜமானாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்; அவர் தம்முடைய கிருபையையும், தம்முடைய உண்மையையும் என் எஜமானை விட்டு நீக்கவில்லை; நான் பிரயாணம்பண்ணிவருகையில், கர்த்தர் என் எஜமானுடைய சகோதரர் வீட்டுக்கு என்னை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தார் என்றான். And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

28 அந்தப் பெண் ஓடி, இந்தக்காரியங்களைத் தன் தாயின் வீட்டிலுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அறிவித்தான். And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things.

29 ரெபெக்காளுக்கு ஒரு சகோதரன் இருந்தான்; அவனுக்கு லாபான் என்று பேர்; அந்த லாபான் வெளியே துரவண்டையில் இருந்த அந்த மனிதனிடத்துக்கு ஓடினான். And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well.

30 அவன் தன் சகோதரி தரித்திருந்த அந்தக் காதணியையும், அவள் கைகளில் போட்டிருந்த கடகங்களையும் பார்த்து, இன்ன இன்னபடி அந்த மனிதன் என்னோடே பேசினானென்று தன் சகோதரி ரெபெக்காள் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டமாத்திரத்தில், அந்த மனிதனிடத்தில் வந்தான்; அவன் துரவு அருகே ஒட்டகங்கள் அண்டையில் நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தான். And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.

31 அப்பொழுது அவன்: கர்த்தரால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவரே, உள்ளே வாரும்; நீர் வெளியே நிற்பானேன்? உமக்கு வீடும், ஒட்டகங்களுக்கு இடமும் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணியிருக்கிறேன் என்றான். And he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.

32 அப்பொழுது அந்த மனிதன் வீட்டுக்குப் போனான். லாபான் ஒட்டகங்களின் கட்டவிழ்த்து, ஒட்டகங்களுக்கு வைக்கோலும் தீவனமும் போட்டு, அவனும், அவனோடே வந்தவர்களும் தங்கள் கால்களைக் கழுவிக்கொள்ளத் தண்ணீர் கொடுத்தான். And the man came into the house: and he ungirded his camels, and gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men's feet that were with him.

33 பின்பு, அவனுக்கு முன்பாக போஜனம் வைக்கப்பட்டது. அப்பொழுது அவன்: நான் வந்த காரியத்தைச் சொல்லுமுன்னே புசிக்கமாட்டேன் என்றான். அதற்கு அவன் சொல்லும் என்றான். And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.

15 Avan ippatich solli mutikkum munnae, itho, aapirakaamutaiya sakotharanaakiya naakorin manaivi milkkaalutaiya kumaaranaayirukkira peththuvaelukkup pirantha repekkaal kudaththaith tholmael vaiththukkonndu purappattu vanthaal. And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

16 Anthap penn makaa roopavathiyum, purushanai ariyaatha kannikaiyumaay irunthaal; aval thuravil irangi, than kudaththai nirappikkonndu aerivanthaal. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

17 Appoluthu antha ooliyakkaaran, avalukku ethirkonntooti: un kudaththilirukkira thannnneeril konjam kutikkath tharavaenndum entan. And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

18 Atharku aval: kutiyum en aanndavanae entu seekkiramaayk kudaththaith than kaiyil irakkik konndu, avanukkuk kutikkak koduththaal. And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

19 Koduththapin, ummutaiya ottakangalum kutiththuth theerumattum avaikalukkum monndu vaarppaen entu solli; And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.

20 Seekkiramaayth than kudaththuth thannnneeraith thottiyilae oottivittu, innum monnduvarath thuravanntaiyil oti, avanutaiya ottakangalukkellaam monndu vaarththaal. And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

21 Antha manithan avalaikkuriththu aachchariyappattu, Karththar than pirayaanaththai vaaykkappannnninaaro illaiyo entu ariyumporuttu mavunamaayirunthaan. And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

22 Ottakangal kutiththuth theernthapin, antha manithan araichchaேkkal etaiyulla porkaathanniyaiyum, aval kaikalukkup paththuchchaேkkal etaipponnulla iranndu kadakangalaiyum eduththuk koduththu, And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;

23 Nee yaarutaiya makal, enakkuch sollavaenndum; naangal un thakappan veettil iraaththanga idam unndaa entan. And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father's house for us to lodge in?

24 Atharku aval: naan naakorukku milkkaal petta kumaaranaakiya peththuvaelin makal entu sonnathumanti, And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

25 Engalidaththil vaikkolum theevanamum vaenntiyamattum irukkirathu; iraaththanga idamum unndu ental She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.

26 Appoluthu antha manithan thalai kuninthu, karththaraip panninthu konndu, And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD.

27 En ejamaanaakiya aapirakaamin thaevanaayirukkira karththarukku Sthoththiram; avar thammutaiya kirupaiyaiyum, thammutaiya unnmaiyaiyum en ejamaanai vittu neekkavillai; naan pirayaanampannnnivarukaiyil, Karththar en ejamaanutaiya sakotharar veettukku ennai alaiththukkonnduvanthaar entan. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

28 Anthap penn oti, inthakkaariyangalaith than thaayin veettilullavarkalukku ariviththaan. And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things.

29 Repekkaalukku oru sakotharan irunthaan; avanukku laapaan entu paer; antha laapaan veliyae thuravanntaiyil iruntha antha manithanidaththukku otinaan. And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well.

30 Avan than sakothari thariththiruntha anthak kaathanniyaiyum, aval kaikalil pottiruntha kadakangalaiyum paarththu, inna innapati antha manithan ennotae paesinaanentu than sakothari repekkaal sonna vaarththaikalaik kaettamaaththiraththil, antha manithanidaththil vanthaan; avan thuravu arukae ottakangal anntaiyil nintukonntirunthaan. And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.

31 Appoluthu avan: karththaraal aaseervathikkappattavarae, ullae vaarum; neer veliyae nirpaanaen? Umakku veedum, ottakangalukku idamum aayaththampannnniyirukkiraேn entan. And he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.

32 Appoluthu antha manithan veettukkup ponaan. Laapaan ottakangalin kattavilththu, ottakangalukku vaikkolum theevanamum pottu, avanum, avanotae vanthavarkalum thangal kaalkalaik kaluvikkollath thannnneer koduththaan. And the man came into the house: and he ungirded his camels, and gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men's feet that were with him.

33 Pinpu, avanukku munpaaka pojanam vaikkappattathu. Appoluthu avan: naan vantha kaariyaththaich sollumunnae pusikkamaattaேn entan. Atharku avan sollum entan. And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.
