பிரசங்கி 3:14
தேவன் செய்வது எதுவோ அது என்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கும் என்று அறிவேன்; அதினோடே ஒன்றும் கூட்டவுங் கூடாது, அதிலிருந்து ஒன்றும் குறைக்கவுங் கூடாது; மனுஷர் தமது சமுகத்தில் பயந்திருக்கும்படி தேவன் இப்படிச் செய்துவருகிறார்.

தேவன் செய்வது என்றென்றும் தொடரும் என்பதை அறிந்தேன். தேவனுடைய கிரியையோடு ஜனங்கள் எதையும் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள முடியாது. தேவனுடைய கிரியையிலிருந்து ஜனங்கள் எதையும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளவும் முடியாது. தேவன் இதனைச் செய்கிறார். எனவே தேவனுக்கு ஜனங்கள் மரியாதை செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

கடவுள் செய்யும் ஒவ்வொன்றும் எப்போதும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் என்பதை நான் அறிவேன். அதனோடு கூட்டுவதற்கோ அதனின்று குறைப்பதற்கோ எதுவுமில்லை. தமக்கு மனிதர் அஞ்சி நடக்க வேண்டுமென்று கடவுள் எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்திருக்கிறார்.

to עָלָיו֙ ʿal al
