Psalm 92 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பதும், உன்னதமானவரே, உமது நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவதும், IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:

2 பத்துநரம்பு வீணையினாலும் தம்புருவினாலும், தியானத்தோடு வாசிக்கும் சுரமண்டலத்தினாலும், To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

3 காலையிலே உமது கிருபையையும் இரவிலே உமது சத்தியத்தையும் அறிவிப்பதும் நலமாயிருக்கும். Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

4 கர்த்தாவே, உமது செய்கைகளால் என்னை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கினீர், உமது கரத்தின் கிரியைகளினிமித்தம் ஆனந்த சத்தமிடுவேன். For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5 கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிரியைகள் எவ்வளவு மகத்துவமானவைகள்! உமது யோசனைகள் மகா ஆழமானவைகள். O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

6 மிருககுணமுள்ள மனுஷன் அதை அறியான், மூடன் அதை உணரான். A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7 துன்மார்க்கர் புல்லைப்போலே தழைத்து, அக்கிரமக்காரர் யாவரும் செழிக்கும்போது, அது அவர்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் அழிந்துபோவதற்கே ஏதுவாகும். When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என்றென்றைக்கும் உன்னதமானவராயிருக்கிறீர். But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

9 கர்த்தாவே, உமது சத்துருக்கள் அழிவார்கள்; உமது சத்துருக்கள் அழிந்தேபோவார்கள்; சகல அக்கிரமக்காரரும் சிதறுண்டுபோவார்கள். For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10 என் கொம்பைக் காண்டாமிருகத்தின் கொம்பைப்போல உயர்த்துவீர்; புது எண்ணெயால் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணப்படுகிறேன். But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11 என் சத்துருக்களுக்கு நேரிடுவதை என் கண் காணும்; எனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிற துன்மார்க்கருக்கு நேரிடுவதை என் காது கேட்கும். Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

12 நீதிமான் பனையைப் போல் செழித்து, லீபனோனிலுள்ள கேதுருவைப்போல் வளருவான். The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே நாட்டப்பட்டவர்கள் எங்கள் தேவனுடைய பிராகாரங்களில் செழித்திருப்பார்கள். Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 கர்த்தர் உத்தமரென்றும், என் கன்மலையாகிய அவரிடத்தில் அநீதியில்லையென்றும், விளங்கப்பண்ணும்படி, They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 அவர்கள் முதிர்வயதிலும் கனி தந்து, புஷ்டியும் பசுமையுமாயிருப்பார்கள். To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

1 Karththaraith thuthippathum, unnathamaanavarae, umathu naamaththaik geerththanampannnuvathum, IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:

2 Paththunarampu veennaiyinaalum thampuruvinaalum, thiyaanaththodu vaasikkum suramanndalaththinaalum, To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

3 Kaalaiyilae umathu kirupaiyaiyum iravilae umathu saththiyaththaiyum arivippathum nalamaayirukkum. Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

4 Karththaavae, umathu seykaikalaal ennai makilchchiyaakkineer, umathu karaththin kiriyaikalinimiththam aanantha saththamiduvaen. For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5 Karththaavae, umathu kiriyaikal evvalavu makaththuvamaanavaikal! Umathu yosanaikal makaa aalamaanavaikal. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

6 Mirukakunamulla manushan athai ariyaan, moodan athai unaraan. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7 Thunmaarkkar pullaippolae thalaiththu, akkiramakkaarar yaavarum selikkumpothu, athu avarkal ententaikkum alinthupovatharkae aethuvaakum. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8 Karththaavae, neer ententaikkum unnathamaanavaraayirukkireer. But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

9 Karththaavae, umathu saththurukkal alivaarkal; umathu saththurukkal alinthaepovaarkal; sakala akkiramakkaararum sitharaுnndupovaarkal. For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10 En kompaik kaanndaamirukaththin kompaippola uyarththuveer; puthu ennnneyaal apishaekampannnappadukiraேn. But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11 En saththurukkalukku naeriduvathai en kann kaanum; enakku virothamaay elumpukira thunmaarkkarukku naeriduvathai en kaathu kaetkum. Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

12 Neethimaan panaiyaip pol seliththu, leepanonilulla kaethuruvaippol valaruvaan. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Karththarutaiya aalayaththilae naattappattavarkal engal thaevanutaiya piraakaarangalil seliththiruppaarkal. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 Karththar uththamarentum, en kanmalaiyaakiya avaridaththil aneethiyillaiyentum, vilangappannnumpati, They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 Avarkal muthirvayathilum kani thanthu, pushtiyum pasumaiyumaayiruppaarkal. To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
