Job 12 in Tamil

1 யோபு பிரதியுத்தரமாக: And Job answered and said,

2 ஆம், நீங்களே ஞானமுள்ள ஜனங்கள்; உங்களுடனே ஞானம் சாகும். No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

3 உங்களைப்போல எனக்கும் புத்தியுண்டு; உங்களிலும் நான் தாழந்தவனல்ல; இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளை அறியாதவன் யார்? But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

4 என் சிநேகிதரால் நான் நிந்திக்கப்பட்டு, தேவனை நோக்கிப் பிரார்த்திப்பேன்; அவர் எனக்கு மறு உத்தரவு அருளுவார்; உத்தமனாகிய நீதிமான் பரியாசம்பண்ணப்படுகிறான். I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

5 ஆபத்துக்குள்ளானவன் சுகமாயிருக்கிறவனுடைய நினைவில் இகழச்சியடைகிறான்; காலிடறினவர்களுக்கு இது நேரிடும். He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

6 கள்ளருடைய கூடாரங்களில் செல்வமுண்டு; தேவனைக் கோபப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்குச் சாங்கோபாங்கமுண்டு; அவர்கள் கையிலே தேவன் கொண்டுவந்து கொடுக்கிறார். The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

7 இப்போதும் நீ மிருகங்களைக் கேட்டுப்பார், அவைகள் உனக்குப்போதிக்கும் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளைக் கேள். அவைகள் உனக்கு அறிவிக்கும். But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

8 அல்லது பூமியை விசாரித்துக்கேள், அது உனக்கு உபதேசிக்கும்; சமுத்திரத்தின் மச்சங்களைக் கேள், அவைகள் உனக்கு விவரிக்கும். Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

9 கர்த்தருடைய கரம் இதைச் செய்ததென்று இவைகளெல்லாவற்றிலும் அறியாதவன் யார்? Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

10 சகல பிராணிகளின் ஜீவனும், மாம்சமான சகல மனுஷரின் ஆவியும் அவர் கையிலிருக்கிறது. In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

11 வாயானது போஜனத்தை ருசிபார்க்கிறதுபோல, செவியானது வார்த்தைகளைச் சோதித்துப்பார்க்கிறதல்லவா? Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?

12 முதியோரிடத்தில் ஞானமும் வயதுசென்றவர்களிடத்தில் புத்தியும் இருக்குமே. With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

13 அவரிடத்தில் ஞானமும் வல்லமையும் எத்தனை அதிகமாய் இருக்கும்? அவருக்குத்தான் ஆலோசனையும் புத்தியும் உண்டு. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

14 இதோ, அவர் இடித்தால் கட்டமுடியாது; அவர் மனுஷனை அடைத்தால் விடுவிக்கமுடியாது. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

15 இதோ, அவர் தண்ணீர்களை அடக்கினால் எல்லாம் உலர்ந்துபோம்; அவர் அவைகளை வரவிட்டால் பூமியைக் கீழதுமேலதாக்கும். Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

16 அவரிடத்தில் பெலனும் ஞானமுமுண்டு; மோசம்போகிறவனும் மோசம்போக்குகிறவனும். அவர் கையின் கீழிருக்கிறார்கள். With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

17 அவர் ஆலோசனைக்காரரைச் சிறைபிடித்து, நியாயாதிபதிகளை மதிமயக்குகிறார். He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.

18 அவர் ராஜாக்களின் கட்டுகளை அவிழ்த்து, அவர்கள் இடுப்புகளைக் கச்சைகட்டுகிறார். He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.

19 அவர் மந்திரிகளைச் சிறைபிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோய், பெலவான்களைக் கவிழ்த்துப்போடுகிறார். He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

20 அவர் நம்பிக்கையுள்ளவர்களுடைய வாக்கை விலக்கி, முதிர்வயதுள்ளவரின் ஆலோசனையை வாங்கிப்போடுகிறார். He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

21 அவர் பிரபுக்களின்மேல் இகழ்ச்சி வரப்பண்ணுகிறார்; பலவான்களின் கச்சையைத் தளர்ந்துபோகப்பண்ணுகிறார். He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

22 அவர் அந்தகாரத்திலிருக்கிற ஆழங்களை வெளியரங்கமாக்கி மரண இருளை வெளிச்சத்தில் கொண்டுவருகிறார். He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

23 அவர் ஜாதிகளைப் பெருகவும் அழியவும் பண்ணுகிறார்; அவர் ஜாதிகளைப் பரவவும் குறுகவும் பண்ணுகிறார். He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

24 அவர் பூமியிலுள்ள ஜனத்தினுடைய அதிபதிகளின் நெஞ்சை அகற்றிப்போட்டு, அவர்களை வழியில்லாத அந்தரத்திலே அலையப்பண்ணுகிறார். He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

25 அவர்கள் வெளிச்சமற்ற இருளிலே தடவித்திரிகிறார்கள்; வெறித்தவர்களைப்போல அவர்களைத் தடுமாறித்திரியப்பண்ணுகிறார். They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.

1 Yopu pirathiyuththaramaaka: And Job answered and said,

2 Aam, neengalae njaanamulla janangal; ungaludanae njaanam saakum. No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

3 Ungalaippola enakkum puththiyunndu; ungalilum naan thaalanthavanalla; ippatippattavaikalai ariyaathavan yaar? But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

4 En sinaekitharaal naan ninthikkappattu, thaevanai Nnokkip piraarththippaen; avar enakku maraு uththaravu aruluvaar; uththamanaakiya neethimaan pariyaasampannnappadukiraan. I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

5 Aapaththukkullaanavan sukamaayirukkiravanutaiya ninaivil ikalachchiyataikiraan; kaalidarinavarkalukku ithu naeridum. He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

6 Kallarutaiya koodaarangalil selvamunndu; thaevanaik kopappaduththukiravarkalukkuch saangaோpaangamunndu; avarkal kaiyilae Dhevan konnduvanthu kodukkiraar. The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

7 Ippothum nee mirukangalaik kaettuppaar, avaikal unakkuppothikkum aakaayaththup paravaikalaik kael. Avaikal unakku arivikkum. But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

8 Allathu poomiyai visaariththukkael, athu unakku upathaesikkum; samuththiraththin machchangalaik kael, avaikal unakku vivarikkum. Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

9 Karththarutaiya karam ithaich seythathentu ivaikalellaavattilum ariyaathavan yaar? Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

10 Sakala piraannikalin jeevanum, maamsamaana sakala manusharin aaviyum avar kaiyilirukkirathu. In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

11 Vaayaanathu pojanaththai rusipaarkkirathupola, seviyaanathu vaarththaikalaich sothiththuppaarkkirathallavaa? Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?

12 Muthiyoridaththil njaanamum vayathusentavarkalidaththil puththiyum irukkumae. With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

13 Avaridaththil njaanamum vallamaiyum eththanai athikamaay irukkum? Avarukkuththaan aalosanaiyum puththiyum unndu. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

14 Itho, avar itiththaal kattamutiyaathu; avar manushanai ataiththaal viduvikkamutiyaathu. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

15 Itho, avar thannnneerkalai adakkinaal ellaam ularnthupom; avar avaikalai varavittal poomiyaik geelathumaelathaakkum. Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

16 Avaridaththil pelanum njaanamumunndu; mosampokiravanum mosampokkukiravanum. Avar kaiyin geelirukkiraarkal. With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

17 Avar aalosanaikkaararaich siraipitiththu, niyaayaathipathikalai mathimayakkukiraar. He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.

18 Avar raajaakkalin kattukalai avilththu, avarkal iduppukalaik kachchaைkattukiraar. He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.

19 Avar manthirikalaich siraipitiththukkonndupoy, pelavaankalaik kavilththuppodukiraar. He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

20 Avar nampikkaiyullavarkalutaiya vaakkai vilakki, muthirvayathullavarin aalosanaiyai vaangippodukiraar. He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

21 Avar pirapukkalinmael ikalchchi varappannnukiraar; palavaankalin kachchaைyaith thalarnthupokappannnukiraar. He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

22 Avar anthakaaraththilirukkira aalangalai veliyarangamaakki marana irulai velichchaththil konnduvarukiraar. He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

23 Avar jaathikalaip perukavum aliyavum pannnukiraar; avar jaathikalaip paravavum kuraுkavum pannnukiraar. He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

24 Avar poomiyilulla janaththinutaiya athipathikalin nenjai akattippottu, avarkalai valiyillaatha antharaththilae alaiyappannnukiraar. He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

25 Avarkal velichchamatta irulilae thadaviththirikiraarkal; veriththavarkalaippola avarkalaith thadumaariththiriyappannnukiraar. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
