Isaiah 7 in Tamil

1 உசியாவினுடைய குமாரனாகிய யோதாமின் குமாரன் ஆகாஸ் என்னும் யூதாதேசத்து ராஜாவின் நாட்களிலே, ரேத்சீன் என்னும் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவும், ரெமலியாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெக்கா என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவும் எருசலேமினால் யுத்தம்பண்ண வந்தார்கள், அவர்களால் அதைப் பிடிக்கக் கூடாமற்போயிற்று. And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

2 சீரியர் எப்பிராயீமைச் சார்ந்திருக்கிறார்களென்று தாவீதின் குடும்பத்துக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, ராஜாவின் இருதயமும் அவன் ஜனத்தின் இருதயமும் காட்டிலுள்ள மரங்கள் காற்றினால் அசைகிறதுபோல் அசைந்தது. And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

3 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் ஏசாயாவை நோக்கி: நீயும் உன் மகன் சேயார்சூபுமாக வண்ணார் துறைவழியிலுள்ள மேற்குளத்து மதகின் கடைசிமட்டும் ஆகாசுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய், Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;

4 நீ அவனை நோக்கி: சீரியர் எப்பிராயீமோடும், ரெமலியாவின் மகனோடும் உனக்கு விரோதமாகத் துராலோசனை பண்ணி, And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

5 நாம் யூதாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப்போய், அதை நெருக்கி, அதை நமக்குள்ளே பங்கிட்டுக்கொண்டு, அதற்குத் தபேயாலின் குமாரனை ராஜாவாக ஏற்படுத்துவோம் என்று சொன்னதினிமித்தம்; Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

6 நீ பயப்படாமல் அமர்ந்திருக்கப் பார்; இந்த இரண்டு புகைகிற கொள்ளிக்கட்டைகளாகிய சீரியரோடே வந்த ரேத்சீனும், ரெமலியாவின் மகனும் கொண்ட உக்கிரக்கோபத்தினிமித்தம் உன் இருதயம் துவளவேண்டாம். Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:

7 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர்: அந்த ஆலோசனை நிலைநிற்பதில்லை, அதின்படி சம்பவிப்பதுமில்லை; Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

8 சீரியாவின் தலை தமஸ்கு, தமஸ்குவின் தலை ரேத்சீன்; இன்னும் அறுபத்தைந்து வருஷங்களிலே எப்பிராயீம் ஒரு ஜனமாயிராதபடிக்கு நொறுங்குண்டுபோம். For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

9 எப்பிராயீமின் தலை சமாரியா, சமாரியாவின் தலை ரெமலியாவின் மகன்; நீங்கள் விசுவாசியாவிட்டால் நிலைபெறமாட்டீர்கள் என்று சொல் என்றார். And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

10 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் ஆகாசை நோக்கி: Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

11 நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் ஒரு அடையாளத்தை வேண்டிக்கொள்; அதை ஆழத்திலிருந்தாகிலும், உன்னதத்திலிருந்தாகிலும் உண்டாகக் கேட்டுக்கொள் என்று சொன்னார். Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

12 ஆகாசோ: நான் கேட்கமாட்டேன், நான் கர்த்தரைப் பரீட்சைசெய்யமாட்டேன் என்றான். But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

13 அப்பொழுது ஏசாயா: தாவீதின் வம்சத்தாரே, கேளுங்கள்; நீங்கள் மனுஷரை விசனப்படுத்துகிறது போதாதென்று என் தேவனையும் விசனப்படுத்தப் பார்க்கிறீர்களோ? And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

14 ஆதலால் ஆண்டவர் தாமே உங்களுக்கு ஒரு அடையாளத்தைக் கொடுப்பார்; இதோ, ஒரு கன்னிகை கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாள், அவருக்கு இம்மானுவேல் என்று பேரிடுவாள். Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

15 தீமையை வெறுத்து நன்மையைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ள அறியும் வயதுமட்டும் அவர் வெண்ணெயையும் தேனையும் சாப்பிடுவார். Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

16 அந்தப் பிள்ளை தீமையை வெறுக்கவும், நன்மையைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவும் அறிகிறதற்குமுன்னே, நீ அருவருக்கிற தேசம் அதின் இரண்டு ராஜாக்களால் விட்டுவிடப்படும். For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

17 எப்பிராயீம் யூதாவைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்த நாள்முதல் வராத நாட்களைக் கர்த்தர் உன்மேலும், உன் ஜனத்தின்மேலும், உன் பிதாவுடைய வம்சத்தின்மேலும், அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவினாலே வரப்பண்ணுவார். The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

18 அந்நாட்களிலே, கர்த்தர் எகிப்து நதிகளின் கடையாந்தரத்திலுள்ள ஈயையும், அசீரியா தேசத்திலிருக்கும் தேனீயையும் பயில்காட்டி அழைப்பார். And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

19 அவைகள் வந்து ஏகமாய் வனாந்தரங்களின் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலும், கன்மலைகளின் வெடிப்புகளிலும் எல்லா முட்காடுகளிலும், மேய்ச்சலுள்ள எல்லா இடங்களிலும் தங்கும். And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

20 அக்காலத்திலே ஆண்டவர் கூலிக்குவாங்கின சவரகன் கத்தியினால், அதாவது, நதியின் அக்கரையிலுள்ள அசீரியா ராஜாவினால் தலைமயிரையும் கால்மயிரையும் சிரைப்பித்து தாடியையும் வாங்கிப்போடுவிப்பார். In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

21 அக்காலத்தில் ஒருவன் ஒரு இளம்பசுவையும், இரண்டு ஆடுகளையும் வளர்த்தால், And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;

22 அவைகள் பூரணமாய்ப் பால்கறக்கிறபடியினால் வெண்ணெயைச் சாப்பிடுவான்; தேசத்தின் நடுவில் மீதியாயிருப்பவனெவனும் வெண்ணெயையும் தேனையுமே சாப்பிடுவான். And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

23 அந்நாளிலே, ஆயிரம் வெள்ளிக்காசு பெறும் ஆயிரம் திராட்சச்செடியிருந்த நிலமெல்லாம் முட்செடியும் நெரிஞ்சிலுமாகும். And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.

24 தேசமெங்கும் முட்செடியும் நெரிஞ்சிலும் உண்டாயிருப்பதினால், அம்புகளையும் வில்லையும் பிடித்து அங்கே போகவேண்டியதாயிருக்கும். With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.

25 மண்வெட்டியால் கொத்தப்படுகிற மலைகள் உண்டே; முட்செடிகளுக்கும் நெரிஞ்சில்களுக்கும் பயப்படுவதினால் அவைகளில் ஒன்றிற்கும் போகக் கூடாமையினால், அவைகள் மாடுகளை ஓட்டிவிடுவதற்கும், ஆடுகள் மிதிப்பதற்குமான இடமாயிருக்கும் என்றான். And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

1 Usiyaavinutaiya kumaaranaakiya yothaamin kumaaran aakaas ennum yoothaathaesaththu raajaavin naatkalilae, raethseen ennum seeriyaavin raajaavum, remaliyaavin kumaaranaakiya pekkaa ennum isravaelin raajaavum erusalaeminaal yuththampannna vanthaarkal, avarkalaal athaip pitikkak koodaamarpoyittaு. And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

2 Seeriyar eppiraayeemaich saarnthirukkiraarkalentu thaaveethin kudumpaththukku arivikkappattapothu, raajaavin iruthayamum avan janaththin iruthayamum kaattilulla marangal kaattinaal asaikirathupol asainthathu. And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

3 Appoluthu Karththar aesaayaavai Nnokki: neeyum un makan seyaarsoopumaaka vannnnaar thuraivaliyilulla maerkulaththu mathakin kataisimattum aakaasukku ethirkonndupoy, Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;

4 Nee avanai Nnokki: seeriyar eppiraayeemodum, remaliyaavin makanodum unakku virothamaakath thuraalosanai pannnni, And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

5 Naam yoothaavukku virothamaayppoy, athai nerukki, athai namakkullae pangittukkonndu, atharkuth thapaeyaalin kumaaranai raajaavaaka aerpaduththuvom entu sonnathinimiththam; Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

6 Nee payappadaamal amarnthirukkap paar; intha iranndu pukaikira kollikkattaைkalaakiya seeriyarotae vantha raethseenum, remaliyaavin makanum konnda ukkirakkopaththinimiththam un iruthayam thuvalavaenndaam. Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:

7 Karththaraakiya aanndavar: antha aalosanai nilainirpathillai, athinpati sampavippathumillai; Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

8 Seeriyaavin thalai thamasku, thamaskuvin thalai raethseen; innum araுpaththainthu varushangalilae eppiraayeem oru janamaayiraathapatikku noraுngunndupom. For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

9 Eppiraayeemin thalai samaariyaa, samaariyaavin thalai remaliyaavin makan; neengal visuvaasiyaavittal nilaiperamaattirkal entu sol entar. And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

10 Pinnum Karththar aakaasai Nnokki: Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

11 Nee un thaevanaakiya karththaridaththil oru ataiyaalaththai vaenntikkol; athai aalaththilirunthaakilum, unnathaththilirunthaakilum unndaakak kaettukkol entu sonnaar. Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

12 Aakaaso: naan kaetkamaattaேn, naan karththaraip pareetchaைseyyamaattaேn entan. But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

13 Appoluthu aesaayaa: thaaveethin vamsaththaarae, kaelungal; neengal manusharai visanappaduththukirathu pothaathentu en thaevanaiyum visanappaduththap paarkkireerkalo? And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

14 Aathalaal aanndavar thaamae ungalukku oru ataiyaalaththaik koduppaar; itho, oru kannikai karppavathiyaaki oru kumaaranaip peraுvaal, avarukku immaanuvael entu paeriduvaal. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

15 Theemaiyai veraுththu nanmaiyaith therinthukolla ariyum vayathumattum avar vennnneyaiyum thaenaiyum saappiduvaar. Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

16 Anthap pillai theemaiyai veraுkkavum, nanmaiyaith therinthukollavum arikiratharkumunnae, nee aruvarukkira thaesam athin iranndu raajaakkalaal vittuvidappadum. For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

17 Eppiraayeem yoothaavaivittup pirintha naalmuthal varaatha naatkalaik Karththar unmaelum, un janaththinmaelum, un pithaavutaiya vamsaththinmaelum, aseeriyaavin raajaavinaalae varappannnuvaar. The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

18 Annaatkalilae, Karththar ekipthu nathikalin kataiyaantharaththilulla eeyaiyum, aseeriyaa thaesaththilirukkum thaeneeyaiyum payilkaatti alaippaar. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

19 Avaikal vanthu aekamaay vanaantharangalin pallaththaakkukalilum, kanmalaikalin vetippukalilum ellaa mutkaadukalilum, maeychchalulla ellaa idangalilum thangum. And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

20 Akkaalaththilae aanndavar koolikkuvaangina savarakan kaththiyinaal, athaavathu, nathiyin akkaraiyilulla aseeriyaa raajaavinaal thalaimayiraiyum kaalmayiraiyum siraippiththu thaatiyaiyum vaangippoduvippaar. In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

21 Akkaalaththil oruvan oru ilampasuvaiyum, iranndu aadukalaiyum valarththaal, And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;

22 Avaikal pooranamaayp paalkarakkirapatiyinaal vennnneyaich saappiduvaan; thaesaththin naduvil meethiyaayiruppavanevanum vennnneyaiyum thaenaiyumae saappiduvaan. And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

23 Annaalilae, aayiram vellikkaasu peraுm aayiram thiraatchachchetiyiruntha nilamellaam mutchediyum nerinjilumaakum. And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.

24 Thaesamengum mutchediyum nerinjilum unndaayiruppathinaal, ampukalaiyum villaiyum pitiththu angae pokavaenntiyathaayirukkum. With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.

25 Mannvettiyaal koththappadukira malaikal unntae; mutchedikalukkum nerinjilkalukkum payappaduvathinaal avaikalil ontirkum pokak koodaamaiyinaal, avaikal maadukalai ottividuvatharkum, aadukal mithippatharkumaana idamaayirukkum entan.
