Isaiah 24 in Tamil

1 இதோ, கர்த்தர் தேசத்தை வெறுமையும் பாழுமாக்கி, அதைக் கவிழ்த்து அதின் குடிகளைச் சிதறடிப்பார். Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

2 அப்பொழுது ஜனத்துக்கு எப்படியோ அப்படியே ஆசாரியனுக்கும் வேலைக்காரனுக்கு எப்படியோ அப்படியே எஜமானுக்கும், வேலைக்காரிக்கு எப்படியோ அப்படியே எஜமானிக்கும் கொண்டவனுக்கும் எப்படியோ அப்படியே விற்றவனுக்கும், கடன் கொடுத்தவனுக்கு எப்படியோ அப்படியே கடன்வாங்கினவனுக்கும், வட்டிவாங்கினவனுக்கும் எப்படியோ அப்படியே வட்டிகொடுத்தவனுக்கும், எல்லாருக்கும் சரியாக நடக்கும். And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

3 தேசம் முழுதும் கொள்ளையாகி முற்றிலும் வெறுமையாகும்; இது கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தை. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

4 தேசம் புலம்பி வாடும்; பூமி சத்துவமற்று உலர்ந்துபோகும்; தேசத்து ஜனத்திலே உயர்ந்தவர்கள் தவிப்பார்கள். The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

5 தேசம் தன் குடிகளின் மூலமாய் தீட்டுப்பட்டது. அவர்கள் நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களை மீறி, கட்டளையை மாறுபாடாக்கி, நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்தார்கள். The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

6 இதினிமித்தம் சாபம் தேசத்தை பட்சித்தது, அதின் குடிகள் தண்டிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; தேசத்தார் தகிக்கப்பட்டார்கள். சிலர்மாத்திரம் மீந்திருக்கிறார்கள். Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

7 திராட்சரசம் துக்கங்கொண்டாடும், திராட்சச்செடி வதங்கும்; மனக்களிப்பாயிருந்தவர்கள் எல்லாரும் பெருமூச்சு விடுவார்கள். The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

8 மேளங்களின் சந்தோஷம் ஓயும், களிகூறுகிறவர்களின் சந்தடி ஒழியும், வீணையின் களிப்பு நின்றுபோம். The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

9 பாடலோடே திராட்சரசம் குடியார்கள்; மதுபானம் அதைக் குடிக்கிறவர்களுக்குக் கசக்கும். They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

10 வெறுமையாய்ப்போன நகரம் தகர்ந்து, ஒருவரும் உள்ளே பிரவேசிக்கக் கூடாதபடி, வீடுகளெல்லாம் பட்டுக்கிடக்கும். The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

11 திராட்சரசத்துக்காக வீதிகளிலே கூக்குரல் உண்டு; எல்லாச் சந்தோஷமும் மங்கி, தேசத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சி அற்றுப்போம். There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

12 நகரத்தில் மீதியாயிருப்பது அழிவே; வாசல்கள் இடிக்கப்பட்டுப் பாழாய்க் கிடக்கும். In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

13 ஒலிவமரத்தை உலுக்கும்போதும், திராட்சப்பழங்களை அறுத்துத் தீரும்போதும், பின்பறிப்புக்குக் கொஞ்சம் மீந்திருப்பதுபோல தேசத்துக்குள்ளும் இந்த ஜனங்களின் நடுவிலும் கொஞ்சம் மீந்திருக்கும். When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

14 அவர்கள் சத்தமிட்டுக் கெம்பீரிப்பார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய மகத்துவத்தினிமித்தம் சமுத்திரத்தினின்று ஆர்ப்பரிப்பார்கள். They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

15 ஆகையால் கர்த்தரை, வெளுக்குந்திசையிலும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைச் சமுத்திரத் தீவுகளிலும் மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள். Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

16 நீதிபரனுக்கு மகிமை என்று பாடும் கீதங்களை பூமியின் கடையாந்தரத்திலிருந்து கேட்கிறோம்; நானோ, இளைத்துப்போனேன் இளைத்துப்போனேன்; எனக்கு ஐயோ! துரோகிகள் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்; துரோகிகள் மிகுதியாய்த் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள் என்கிறேன். From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

17 தேசத்துக் குடிகளே, திகிலும், படுகுழியும் கண்ணியும் உங்களுக்கு நேரிடும். Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

18 அப்பொழுது, திகிலின் சத்தத்திற்கு விலகி ஓடுகிறவன் படுகுழியில் விழுவான்; படுகுழியிலிருந்து ஏறுகிறவன் கண்ணியில் அகப்படுவான்; உயர இருக்கும் மதகுகள் திறவுண்டு, பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் குலுங்கும், And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

19 தேசம் நொறுங்கவே நொறுங்கும், தேசம் முறியவே முறியும், தேசம் அசையவே அசையும். The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

20 வெறித்தவனைப்போல தேசம் தள்ளாடி, ஒரு குடிலைப்போலப் பெயர்த்துப்போடப்படும்; அதின் பாதகம் அதின்மேல் பாரமாயிருக்கையால் அது விழுந்துபோம், இனி எழுந்திராது. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

21 அக்காலத்தில் கர்த்தர் உன்னதமான சேனையை உன்னதத்திலும், பூமியின் ராஜாக்களைப் பூமியிலும் விசாரிப்பார். And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 அவர்கள் கெபியில் ஏகமாய்க் கட்டுண்டவர்களாகச் சேர்ந்து காவலில் அடைக்கப்பட்டு, அநேகநாள் சென்றபின்பு விசாரிக்கப்படுவார்கள். And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

23 அப்பொழுது சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சீயோன் மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் ஆளுகைசெய்வதால், சந்திரன் கலங்கும், சூரியன் நாணமடையும்; அவருடைய மூப்பர்களுக்கு முன்பாக மகிமை உண்டாயிருக்கும். Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

1 Itho, Karththar thaesaththai veraுmaiyum paalumaakki, athaik kavilththu athin kutikalaich sitharatippaar. Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

2 Appoluthu janaththukku eppatiyo appatiyae aasaariyanukkum vaelaikkaaranukku eppatiyo appatiyae ejamaanukkum, vaelaikkaarikku eppatiyo appatiyae ejamaanikkum konndavanukkum eppatiyo appatiyae vittavanukkum, kadan koduththavanukku eppatiyo appatiyae kadanvaanginavanukkum, vattivaanginavanukkum eppatiyo appatiyae vattikoduththavanukkum, ellaarukkum sariyaaka nadakkum. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

3 Thaesam muluthum kollaiyaaki muttilum veraுmaiyaakum; ithu Karththar sonna vaarththai. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

4 Thaesam pulampi vaadum; poomi saththuvamattaு ularnthupokum; thaesaththu janaththilae uyarnthavarkal thavippaarkal. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

5 Thaesam than kutikalin moolamaay theettuppattathu. Avarkal niyaayappiramaanangalai meeri, kattalaiyai maaraுpaadaakki, niththiya udanpatikkaiyai muriththaarkal. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

6 Ithinimiththam saapam thaesaththai patchiththathu, athin kutikal thanntikkappattarkal; thaesaththaar thakikkappattarkal. Silarmaaththiram meenthirukkiraarkal. 7 Thiraatcharasam thukkangaொnndaadum, thiraatchachcheti vathangum; manakkalippaayirunthavarkal ellaarum perumoochchu viduvaarkal. The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

8 Maelangalin santhosham oyum, kalikooraுkiravarkalin santhati oliyum, veennaiyin kalippu nintupom. The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

9 Paadalotae thiraatcharasam kutiyaarkal; mathupaanam athaik kutikkiravarkalukkuk kasakkum. They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

10 Veraுmaiyaayppona nakaram thakarnthu, oruvarum ullae piravaesikkak koodaathapati, veedukalellaam pattukkidakkum. The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.

13 Olivamaraththai ulukkumpothum, thiraatchappalangalai araுththuth theerumpothum, pinparippukkuk konjam meenthiruppathupola thaesaththukkullum intha janangalin naduvilum konjam meenthirukkum. When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

16 Neethiparanukku makimai entu paadum geethangalai poomiyin kataiyaantharaththilirunthu kaetkirom; naano, ilaiththupponaen ilaiththupponaen; enakku aiyo! Thurokikal thurokampannnukiraarkal; thurokikal mikuthiyaayth thurokampannnukiraarkal enkiraேn. From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. 17 Thaesaththuk kutikalae, thikilum, padukuliyum kannnniyum ungalukku naeridum. Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

18 Appoluthu, thikilin saththaththirku vilaki odukiravan padukuliyil viluvaan; padukuliyilirunthu aeraுkiravan kannnniyil akappaduvaan; uyara irukkum mathakukal thiravunndu, poomiyin asthipaarangal kulungum, And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

19 Thaesam noraுngavae noraுngum, thaesam muriyavae muriyum, thaesam asaiyavae asaiyum. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

20 Veriththavanaippola thaesam thallaati, oru kutilaippolap peyarththuppodappadum; athin paathakam athinmael paaramaayirukkaiyaal athu vilunthupom, ini elunthiraathu. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

21 Akkaalaththil Karththar unnathamaana senaiyai unnathaththilum, poomiyin raajaakkalaip poomiyilum visaarippaar. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 Avarkal kepiyil aekamaayk kattunndavarkalaakach sernthu kaavalil ataikkappattu, anaekanaal sentapinpu visaarikkappaduvaarkal. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

23 Appoluthu senaikalin Karththar seeyon malaiyilum erusalaemilum aalukaiseyvathaal, santhiran kalangum, sooriyan naanamataiyum; avarutaiya moopparkalukku munpaaka makimai unndaayirukkum. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
